As the two women continued to chat with each other, Argent was starting to form a much better understanding both of the DRAGON class, and Izanami herself. One thing that particularly stuck out to the Assassin was the item the DRAGON class seemed to be based on. ”HOLY SHIT!” She stopped it in her tracks, putting her hands to her head in surprise.

”That really is a Mecha Cyber Solar Dragonzoid! Where the hell did you get it? Dude you’re lucky as hell for that one.” Argent turned back as they continued on again, making their way toward the cave she had spotted earlier. ”Me and my bro were really into it, and don’t quote me but I’m pretty sure the Solar Dragon Ranger was his favorite. Pissed our parent’s off though being into such stupid things...” She raised her hand to her mouth, quieting her voice even though there was no one else around to hear. ”Of course, we still watched when they weren’t around, hehehe!”

She could still remember Auri’s face the first time she streamed a show for him in secret, the widened eyes and shocked look painted all over it. He didn’t let it show anywhere near as much as Argent did, but she knew he loved it just as much. ”Y’know, now that we’re talking about it, I haven’t even thought about so many anime, or games, or shows, or anything like that in such a long time. Not since before the world changed. Guess it’s just kinda been out of mind with the world being so game-y now.”

Argent was glad the cold weather was at least doing one of them a favor, but she couldn’t wait to go warm up again once her explorer itch was scratched tonight. Once they got to the cave she was happy to find that, though it was the same base temperature, the lack of chilly winds would mean it was much more comfortable inside.

”R-right” The woman backed away from the dragon head as it swiveled in next to her, its teeth spinning like sawblades. ”I hear you though, sounds like you got a good starting kit… and if I’m understanding it right, the next big step is to just, well… keep eating monsters. Maybe we’ll have better luck inside the cave. Ready?” Standing at the entrance, Argent took her Lunar knife and flipped it in her hand before heading inside with Izanami.

Snow and ice made up much of the cave’s walls, with shimmering blue crystals of ice providing light for the interior. Eventually, the cave led down into a wider cavern, a circular room with a big ice pillar in the middle that stretched allll the way up the ceiling. In essence, they were in a giant, frigid donut.

”There.”

On one side of the room, a pair of monsters were crouched down and chewing on a pile of bones. They looked a little bit similar to the Frostlings from before, but much bigger. They had big forearms with massive, pale blue hands and feet that almost gave them the appearance of being frostbitten. Every other part of their body was covered in mangy white fur, with the exception of their face, where just a small area of skin around their eyes, nose, and tusked jaws were visible.

Argent made sure to be quiet as she spoke, crouching down as she prepared herself for a fight. These two monsters would no-doubt be stronger than the Frostlings outside, but they still shouldn’t be a problem with the right strategy in mind. ”Yetis. If you wanna hit ‘em straight on, go for it, but I’m gonna sneak around this big pillar to get the drop on them. Once Izanami was ready, Argent began sneaking down into the chamber, positioning herself for a sneak attack.

Argent twirled a finger in her ear at the long ass name that DRAGON was an acronym for. "Uhuhh. I think I'll stick with calling it DRAGON. But oooh that's lit; I'm also a DPS. Got that hiyah! Kablow, WHAM!" The woman stabbed and slashed her knife around through the air as she made the sound effects for it.

As Izanami continued to explain how her DRAGON worked, gears began to click in Argent's head. So it DID have more to it than just raw strength alone. The was powered and repaired by the things it ate, and with how useful it was for fighting, she couldn't imagine it ever running out of juice. The really neat thing about it though, was its ability to absorb crafting materials for new powers.

"Wait actually? That's sick! Y'know, this dagger of mine used to just be a regular ol' pocket knife before the world changed, but now its got all them fancy moon powers that let me slash it around real cool." Though she had no idea how things really worked behind the scenes, she hoped her dagger would get stronger in the future. For all the weapons she had access to now, it was still her favorite- it had been with her since she was a kid, after all, almost as long as Auriel.

At the mention of turning her Pendant into blaster cannon's like what the DRAGON had, Argent chuckled. As useful as they surely were, maybe it would be better NOT to have two heads constantly snaking their way around you. Her hand slipped into her pocket unconsciously, wrapping around the gemstone with a slumbering snake it it. Though it didn't have it any more, she remembered the old snake design that was carved into the old version of her knife like it was the back of her hand.

With the battle dying down, Argent noticed the black smoke that Izanami coughed up for the first time. "Oh shit Nami, I ain't a doctor but THAT don't look so healthy." As the woman explained how DRAGON's core was embedded in her chest, Argent's cheeks briefly went red before jerking her head away. "A-ah. That'd do it. Maybe you should look into some kinda heartburn monster, get you an upgrade to help with that." Though she said it jokingly, Argent immediately realized that YEAH, since DRAGON actually DID upgrade itself... maybe she could find some type of monster material to help with the smoke.

Argent shrugged at the woman's comment on how clean it was. The Assassin was a fighter; things were gonna get dirty, but it was clean as long as the monsters were dead! "Ayy works for me, next battle it is!" Taking out the pirate's spyglass from her inventory, Argent quickly peeped ahead around the mountain. There was another clearing like this one not too far away that they would have to trek through some snow to get to... and not to far from them was also a cave that lead to who-knows-where. "Looks like we got some options here... There's a cave we could check out up that way, or we could move the other way instead for another clearing. Whatcha think?" Argent pointed to the two areas as she announced them, leaving the decision for Izanami to make before putting the spyglass away again.

As they started their trek towards the next area, Argent felt like she was starting to bust through Izanami's shell a little. The woman could be cold, but she seemed attentive when mentioning "combos". "There's not much to explain, really. It's not like, an official ability--at least not for my class--but I'm talking about using items or Abilities or even class features that work well together." Argent's form would shift as her Lunar Phase moved on to the next cycle, granting her body a slightly see-through effect thanks to the [Partial Invisibility] Buff it gave.

"Oh shit, speaking of- I'm a Lunar Assassin. My class gives me a cycling buff over time. This one helps out with damage, but its a good example of a combo. The [Partial Invisibility] also Proc's my [Flash Step] passive, meaning that I also get a bonus to my [SPD] Stat. Another combo I like doing, is with an abilitiy I have called [Crescent Slash]. It gets bonus damage when I get sneaky attacks off on enemies, so if you do the math..." The woman began counting on her fingers, but quickly gave up and waved it away. "Bah whatever it adds up to means I get invisibility, a speed buff, and a really strong ability, all because of how they combo together! I have some other neat combo's too where I found out some of my abilities work really good together when I use them one after another, and I'd call that a combo too."

Argent LOVED experimenting in combat. It reminded her of the graffiti art she would do when she was younger, really freeform and personal to the artist. In the same way, all the cool moves and effects she could activate at a moments notice made her feel like an artist as she danced around the field. "Once we find some more monsters, I'll show you another combo I like. But now that you kinda get what I mean, do you have anything like that? I wonder what might work well with that fire of yours, hmm..."

"Shit okay, I hear you?" Izanami's response was bitchy when Argent asked about how she got here. Damn, maybe she was just hungry, it would at least explain why she was chomping these things up so much at least. She certainly fought like a beast. Since she mentioned "Earth-chan" telling her to kill, Argent wondered if maybe she had just been taking that a little bit tooo literally- though with what Argent KNEW of Earth-chan, she wouldn't be surprised if it was actively TRYING to make psychos.

Rip and tear again, huh? "Yeah, sounds familiar. So what's that DRAGON of yours actually DO, anyways? Just got some Doc Ock shit goin' on, or is there more to it than that?" Being level one, Argent wouldn't have been surprised if Izanami's armor only did basic stuff so far. Her own Lunar Assassin class had started to expand as she gained levels, but she remembered what it was like being level one. "Lots of consuming, yeah... is that a part of it too?"

Lasering through one of the Frostlings with her Sorcerer's Pendant caught Izanami's eye, and honestly Argent couldn't blame her. "Yeah dude I love it, prolly my most used item if I'm being for real. I really needa see about upgrading it sometime..." She let her thoughts trail off as she watched the woman brace herself and shoot out a blast of twin flames from her DRAGON heads. The flames smoked the poor Frostlings in front of her, setting the last of the monsters ablaze. They almost would've gotten some sympathy from Argent--that is, if they weren't such little shits.

"Yooo DRAGON's packin' some HEAT! Really livin' up to its name, huh?" Argent plucked her Dagger from a fallen Frostling and darted forward to the burning one, putting an end to its flailing. "Well, looks like we've about cleaned up this place. Or uh, once you consume those, I guess that'd be more appropriate to say... But anywho, whatdya think? Wanna head further up and get some more fights in on these things? Oh, oh, know any combos yet?" Argent loved being a DPS, and though this woman was honestly kinda scary, she could sense the makings of a strong one within her. Just wondering what all the suit could do alone was enough to get her excited.

"Rocks, trees, and cold... sounds about right." Argent sighed; it was unfortunate that the woman hadn't found anything too fancy out here, but pretty much par for the course for what she had expected. Her explanation of how her DRAGON system worked was a little bit relieving at least. If Izanami had full control over those two dragon heads, Argent wasn't THAT worried about a stray head snapping her way during combat- though of course, she'd still be wary not to get in the woman's way.

Once that new wave of Frostlings took burst onto the scene, Izanami roared out as she threw herself at the monsters. The way she fought was brutal to say the least, but with her being in the party now... Argent's eyes widened in surprise upon seeing that Izanami was only level one! Argent pulled her lance from the Frostling she had impaled, kicking it over before twisting around and bringing it down in a downward slice at another nearby monster. The Sorcerer's Pendant that swung around her neck glowed as it activated, causing her lance to glow as well and extend its reach with a corporeal laser. That second Frostling fell backwards, defeated by the attack.

"Y'know, this is a pretty sparse area to begin with, but- level one?! Did you just load in? How'd you even get here?" Argent slid her dagger out as she circled Izanami and the monsters she was fighting, watching for an opportunity before tossing it along to slice through another of the Frostlings. "Gotta say though, you don't really fight like a level one."

Thinking back to her tutorial where she first "spawned in" and fought in that library, it took Argent a minute to figure out how things worked. Although, for herself it didn't take tooo long to start kicking ass... maybe this woman was also just someone with that kinda gusto!

"JESUS CHRIST YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!" Argent jumped when a feminine voice spoke out nearby. She had been so preoccupied she hadn't even noticed the new woman sauntering onto the scene. "Go right ahead though... I didn't know others were around up here." Argent kicked the Frostling toward the woman, jumping back again when her armor snatched a mouth forward to gobble it up.

The armor this woman wore was unlike anything Argent had ever scene before. She was covered with bits and bobs from head to toe, and yet still somehow found a way to make it revealing. The most startling part of the armor, however, were the two cybernetic dragon heads sticking out the back of it. When Argent gave the go ahead for the corpse, one of them darted forward to to swallow it whole. "Oh my god that's not terrifying at all," she commented, sarcasm clear in her voice.

Despite how disturbing the armor was, the woman inside of it seemed nice enough at least. She introduced herself as Izanami and stretched an arm out to shake, which Argent cautiously accepted. "Argent. nice to err... meet you?" Argent was a little more confused at the ARMOR having a name (especially with how perplexingly simple it was!), but figured it best not to look too deeply into it. The world was crazy now, after all- there was no use in overanalyzing someone for what they'd gotten from Earth-chan.

"Ah yeah, that explains it. Find anything neat yet?" The woman picked her Lance up once more as Izanami described herself. "I'm sure there'll be plenty up her worth finding... it's all just evaded me so far." She wasn't sure just how much experience this woman had up here, but Argent thought she must've at least known a thing or two about survival to be adventuring ALL THE WAY OUT HERE of all the zones.

"If you're up here all alone--or, well, the three of you--wanna party up? I've just been thrashing these damned Frostlings, nothing too interesting yet... but if we're lucky that might change!" She rested her lance on her shoulder for a moment as she talked to Izanami. "Gotta get them level ups in, ya feel?"

As soon as she sent a party invite to Izanami, a group of Frostlings hopped out at them, 5 monsters that had been hidden in the surrounding snow and trees. Most of them were just regular Frostlings with their nasty old furs and frigid horns, but two of them held icicle spears instead of just their usual claws. "Well well, speak of the devil! Hope you're ready for a fight, Nami!"

With her own lance in hand, Argent dashed towards one of the Frostlings, skewering it with the weapon's tip. "Their claws are the dangerous parts, but the horns can get you too if you're not watching for them!"

"DAMNIT!"

Argent had faced the troubles of a mountain before, but this [Everest] Zone was a lot different than the north pole. First of all, this one was pure mountain after mountain. Like the [Hollow Hills] Zone in North America, the countless mountains here were all floating in the air... the big difference here was that this mountains were steeper, more dangerous, and raised as far as the eye could see, the top of them hiding above the clouds.

The woman pulled her knife out of the monster she had just slain, a small goblinoid creature covered in mangled white fur, icy blue claws, and a pair of icicle horns that matched. "These Frostlings just aren't giving me what I need... ughh..." Argent knew the area was pretty dangerous, but these littler monsters didn't give her very many points for killing them. She wanted to level up more to catch up to some of the higher leveled players she had met, but well... with monsters like these, it was getting a bit annoying.

Slipping her Lunar Knife away, Argent took out the gemstone she had found on Ender Island. Peering inside she could see what looked to be a slumbering serpent, a creature that reminded her of the design she once had on her old pocket knife. "If I kill enough of these things, I wonder if you'll wake up..." With a sigh, the Lunar Assassin put the gem away again and marched on.

She was low enough on the mountain that the air was still decently breathable, just a little annoying when she got all worked up. The area she was in was mostly filled with trees, rocks, and patches of snow-covered ice. While the majority of the mountains were just blanketed in white snow, it was little clearings like this that made for a good grinding spot- at least, it WOULD if strong enough enemies would actually show up for once.

Pulling the sleek black lance off her back, Argent stabbed through the empty air, testing out its feel in her hand. "Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and have the chance to use this, or even that new weapon..."

From the trees and snows around her, hidden, glowing blue eyes were being to peer on. More Frostlings were beginning to spawn.

Bird's Eye View in a Moonlit Storm

Argent’s shiny new katana was slung over her back, partially blocking the pink huntress emblazoned on her cropped jacket. Her hair, silver as ever, was in a high ponytail with her Lunar Knife tucked away into it. A book-shaped pendant swung around her neck, a particular pink bangle on her wrist, and the final of her accessories were a trio of orange beads that hung from her belt.

”Assassin here.” Argent pulled out her knife, flipping it in her hand as she looked around at the others. Four of them together meant that they got a basic party buff, and with her own [Stealth Up!] active, her stats were already looking really nice! ”Call me Argent!”

Looking down the path that cut through the forest ahead, she was glad to have found a party to travel with. The Naga’s Path… she didn’t know how many creatures were lurking in the shades to ambush them, but the purple banners that lined the path certainly didn’t make it any more inviting. Glancing back to the party, she tried her best to assess how this would go.

The [Recherche Watcher] Dr. Lynne was a bit of a mystery to Argent; she wasn’t quite sure what to make of her being good at gathering info, but chalked it up to the woman being a scout of some kind. She at least seemed to have some understanding of her fighting ability, at least! ”Drawn out fights, huh? Long CD? I mean hey, if we’re lucky maybe we won’t run into too many… but with them trees like that, I don’t trust it!

As she mentioned trust, Argent’s eyes flitted between the birds sitting upon their witch’s shoulders. Aliyah introduced herself as an Ornithologist… a bird person? Hmm. ”What, do they like, eat bugs?” She didn’t wanna be rude, but Orion and Aquila were making Argent a little uncomfortable. Birds, bro, they’re always just so weird! People already thought birds worked for the government before the world collapsed, but now? With Earth-chan running the place, there was no way they weren’t being controlled! At least Aliyah seemed to have control over them… ”You uh, control them, right?”

Taking a step back, their last guy seemed like more of a fighter than the other two, at least. ”Oh, pft that’s funny- We’re all [Gifts]!” Argent tucked her dagger away into her jacket as she pulled the X-Calibur off her pack, ready to move out. ”DPS is my main thing, but with this brand-spankin’-new sword I can do a little buff to for another weapon. AND it gives me some extra AoE too, pretty lit if you ask me!” That had been her main draw to the weapon when she first bought it. Her class was amazing at single-targeting, but against groups it left a little to still be wanting for. Hopefully this [Naga’s Path] wouldn’t have too many to face off against, but at least she was ready if it did!

Unison Central had a lot of shops. A lottttt of shops. Argent walked through a busy street with her arms thrown behind her hand. ”Man, why’s there gotta be so many?! I just wanna find some nice loot!” Each shop seemed specialized for its own little purpose or niche, but it was almost to the point that she could spend days sifting through them all! [break][break]

It got to the point where she stopped going inside of each little shop, instead relying on the pictures on the door and displays in the window to tell her when one would have something she wanted… but it still didn’t narrow it down by much.[break][break]

With a sigh, Argent came to a stop in front of a shop with big windows and some interesting items inside. It looked to have a lot of monster items, but had some weapons and other gear as well. ”Hmm… couldn’t hurt to check it out I suppose.”[break][break]

On the inside, she found more of the same, but could tell a lot more about the items. ”Wait, this stuff is actually sick!” Browsing around, she ogled plenty of neat items before finally finding something that absolutely captivated her mind.[break][break]

"Pft, a Tomatonator? Man, you really like your tomatoes, huh?" Argent shook her head as she turned to DeeDee, though the smile on her face was clear as day. "I think I might just have to take you up on that one!" She let out a chuckle as looked around the boat, noticing all the tomatoes in peoples hands. Man, this DeeDee really liked her tomatoes, but that certainly wasn't anything she could knock the woman for!

As the boat slowed to a stop at the pier, everyone began to unload. "Go on then, I've gots another batch to pick up after you lot! S'pose we got a bit of patchwork to do, but a lil hole never hurt nobody GAHAHAHAHA!" Though he was a stern fellow, the captain seemed to at least be in high spirits as walked about the ship, using what must've been his class' abilities to patch up the ol' Bessie.

"Well then DeeDee, looks like its our time to scatter! Looks like things'll be kinda chaotic for a minute so I wanna make sure I get a good lil' corner set up to operate out of." Argent threw up a peace sign at her ally, walking alongside her as the finally stepped foot onto the island. "But before that though... its Tomatonator time!"

The Lunar Assassin was glad to have made an ally. A place like this, as hard to get to as it was, would no doubt have even tougher challenges waiting ahead. It was only a matter of time before she set off once more on adventure, but was thankful at least that she had a moment to relax. Worryingly, she hadn't seen her brother amongst any of the crowd...

Ah well, there was plenty of time to keep looking for him. For now, it was time to chow down on some nice tomatos!

Argent plucked her dagger from the fishman's body as he went down, pumping her fist in brief victory before turning toward the shout from the crowd "NO YOU WATCH IT!" She straightened her hair quickly before running off again to find DeeDee.

The claw flew past BomDee's spot as the waddle suddenly vanished, harmlessly colliding into the wall behind it with a metallic TWANG! Already on its last legs, the spout of flame DeeDee grilled the monster with turned it from a dark-green to a nice medium-rare hue. As if that wasn't enough already, her metal chair slamming into the crab's body made a loud BOOM as its shell burst out from under it.

Like the starfish before it, the crab poofed away into bubbles from its defeat. Argent hopped down the hole, landing in a who-are-we-fighting-whose-ass-do-i-need-to-kick kind of pose with her dagger at the ready, but relaxed once she saw DeeDee had a handle on things. "Phew, kicked it's ass, huh?" Taking out the tomatoes DeeDee had shared with her earlier, Argent tossed one to her ally and chomped into her own. "Mmflets hurry back up!"

By the time they got back out into the open, the ship the rest of the fish-creatures had been defeated as well. "HHAHAHAHAHA, TOLD YA MY BESSIE COULD TAKE A BEATIN'!" The captain's victory cheer could be heard even from the deck as the weather cleared.

As most of the others started to relax and tend to their wounds, Argent ran to the front of the ship once more. The shoddy little port they were headed to seemed to be absolutely beaten down by weather and age, but with a couple tents and people running about it was clear that the Ender Island encampment was only going to grow from here.

Laying in wait paid off for the crab as the player and her party followed after it. The crab hopped up with to pinch on the first that entered--BomDee--with its massive claw before turning to scuttle away. As it did so, however, DeeDee's fan caused a strong enough wind to knock it over onto its back. It struggled and spun, but from the situation it was in and the heft of its big arm, the crab didn't really have the means to get back up again. Seeing no other choice, The monster-crab used its smaller arm to snip the large claw and launch it at BomDee. The pincher opened and closed as it flew toward the waddle, threatening to snap shut on it if it collided. The crab itself was, unfortunately, unable to get back onto its right-side again.

Argent let go of her dagger as it stuck into her opponent; she had hoped it would've been enough to take the fish monster down, but instead it managed to blast her with a jet of water before stumbling backwards. Argent was pressed back as the pressure smacked into her, feeling more like a punch in the face than a measly stream of water--but despite that, she held her ground and kept her feet planted. It hurt even more than before due to her phase shifting, but she knew what that meant.

When the water relented, the injured fishthing would see argent straighten herself up again and spit a bit of blood to the side. Dramatic, sure, but that's who she was! She faced the monster down with a look of determination and pointed its way. "Nice try but time's up-" Now that she had shifted into [Full Moon] phase, her form became a bit see-through as the power of the moon coursed through her. The effect powered up her abilities and dagger, and the stealth from it activated her [Flash Step] passive and boosted her speed. The fish was tough, but it was nothing compared to a true DPS."GG"

The Lunar Dagger glowed from the monster's body as Argent's [Sorcerer's Pendant] did the same. She dashed to the staggered enemy, activating an ability the moment the tip of her finger touched her knife. "MOONLIGHT CRASH!" A laser shot out from the blade to pierce straight through the body of the beast. It was an attack based on her highest stat, MAG, that was boosted even stronger from both her Full Moon and Pendant's abilities. The bonus from her speed sent the laser out in the blink of an eye, and the ability itself was already DEF-ignoring to begin with. And the best thing of it all? That was only the first laser, with an identical one immediately following.

"That's right, I got two!"

DeeDee's quick thinking to desummon her allies and bring them back to her side meant that even with the all of the monster's attacks, they were all safely out of the way. The only one that posed an immediate threat was the starfish--something that DeeDee quickly dealt with by firing another blast. The Starfish was already on its final legs, and that attack was enough to cause its multiple-lasers to all fade away as the monster itself vanished like a popping bubble.

The crab raised the shell of its bigger arm to the dagger DeeDee tossed, letting it bounce of its natural hide. Seeing the situation it and its allies were in, The crab blasted a short stream of bubbles toward DeeDee before slamming its big claw into the deck of the boat. It broke a hole and crawled into the lower-level of the boat, trying to bide its time for the moment. (Much to the disdain of the captain, shouting about it from the cabin)

With both Kramer and BomDee charging the fish, it didn't stand a chance. It ducked to try and avoid the attack from dragon overhead, but in doing so only found itself on the receiving in of BomDee's power punch. The punch sent the monster flying backwards, crashing onto the ground with stars in its eyes, clearly defeated.

"Oop!" The monsters didn't waste any time going after Argent again. One of them stayed down, but the remaining two shot blasts of water her way. She Leapt out of the way of one of them, but the other still managed to smack into her arm.

"Hey!" Annoying... With the monsters now running towards her, they REALLY weren't trying to give her the chance to recuperate here. Argent glared at the monster's, activated her Lunar Madness skill. As voices and spooky imagery no doubt took over the fishmen's senses, even if for a second, she used that to her advantage to dash around behind them.

As soon as Argent got to the backside of one of the fish, she swiped her hand at it, activating another ability. "Crescent Slash!" With the power of the moon empowering her arm, and the bonus to the ability for hitting from behind, she already KNEW that the fish would be feeling the hurt. Argent swept her dagger off from the ground, slinging her lance across her back as she lunged for another stab at the bigger the fish. If they were just gonna kept pelting her with water from range, then she wasn't gonna give them the opportunity!

The purple fish had a gurgling sound that almost sounded like a laugh when his attack graced DeeDee's shoe. Finally, it was getting a chance to attack these pesky humans! When DeeDee fired a bolt at from her staff, the monster used its own to send a shock towards the energy blast- resulting in a tiny little explosion where the two attacks met. The creature cheered, but its victory was quickly turned into pain as DeeDee's dagger found its way into the monster's leg. It foamed at the mouth from the attack, angry that it had been attacked, and decided to change up its tactics. The fishthing summoned another two streaks of electricity from its staff--only this time, instead of arcing towards DeeDee, one was headed for each of her summons.

BomDee's Power Punch slammed into the claw with a loud DING as the two unstoppable forces met. At first they were in a stand-still, but BomDee soon began to overpower the green crustacean. As the crab realized that BomDee was clearly the stronger of the two, it brought its smaller claw forward and released a stream of little bubbles toward the waddle. Little bubbles that would pop with QUITE the force if they hit anything!

The ducks and swoops and loop-de-loops that Kramer used to evade the Starfish was enough to make the creature CLEARLY frustrated by his opponent. It's single eye turned red from embarrassment as it tried to keep up with the dragon, turning to face Kramer RIGHT as he unleashed his torrent of flame. When the stream ended, The starfish was left blackened from the smoke and fell to the ground. R-really?! The great starfish beaten by a dragon?! Impossible! The frustration turned to anger as the starfish tried to get up, but alas; it was too weakened. Seeing no other option, the starfish began to glow white; a series of lasers began shooting out from its body, spinning wildly in the air as more and more lasers escaped it- enough to pose a threat to anyone in the area

"HAHA, YEAH TAKE THAT!" Argent thought that the few creatures that DID crawl onto the ship after her little glitter bomb moment were absolutely HILARIOUS. They didn't seem to think that though, and started making their way over to join in on the fight. The big boy monster shot a jet of water at Argent, something that she THREW her lance at to try and counter. She may not have had much in the way of defense, but this was what people meant when they said the best defense was a good offense, right?!

Argent moved to the side as her lance flew, and though both of the attacks would've been knocked aside from the impact, she smirked for the trick she had up her sleeve. Light glinted off of her hand as she tugged at an almost impossibly-thin string attacked to the lance, yanking it back to her as the other two fishthings arrived. They probably thought she'd been defenseless, but nope!

Quite the opposite actually; as Argent's lance flew back to her, the book pendant dangling around her neck began to glow from activation. "Relentless Slash!" the glow of moonlight darted up the thread right when her lance got between the two glitter-bombed monsters, and began to spin like a sawblade. "One, two- THREE HITS! HELL YEAH!" Her Relentless slash ability could be unpredictable, but 3 was one of the most times she proc'd it! The spinning lance made an almost disk of energy due to the laser-imbuement and damage buff from her pendant, such that when the ability ended and Argent yanked the lance back to her, she was only even more hyped to beat these monsters UP!

”Oh I get one too? NICE-” As she took the Tomato offered to her by DeeDee, Argent took a big chomp out of the fruit. She wasn’t THAT hungry, but hey- free food was free food! When DeeDee again offered her another tomato when they were boarding the ship, Argent accepted it, tossing it around in her hand.[break][break]

Though the voyage was calm enough at first, of course it wouldn’t last. When the boat came under attack, it didn’t take long for the action to start. ”Yeah you got this! LET’S KICK SOME ASS!” DeeDee pointed out a group of fish creatures crawling onto the ship from the sea, though it wasn’t hard to spot them. They started swarming the ship from EVERYWHERE, causing melees to break out all around. DeeDee had a group that she wanted to go against, and pointed out some for Argent to handle. [break][break]

Most of these guys didn’t seem too strong, but as Argent went to start helping out with the fight, A big fish had already flung itself onto the boat and was rushing her way. It had a clawed arm
that swiped immediately at her, something that Argent used her Lance to try and bat away. [break][break]

Her eyes widened a little in shock as both her and the monster seemed to knock each other away. It had been a while since she’d faced anything that could keep up with her DPS. A smile crept up upon Argent’s face as she repoised herself ”Oh you’re a TOUGH one aren’t you?” [break][break]

Argent pulled her Lunar Knife from her hip and tossed it at the clawed fishthing, Lunging at it with her lance as the dagger flew through the air. ”Don’t think it’ll be easy now!” [break][break]

As she fought with the monster, more were still crawling over the edge. She could see two more had already made it onto the boat… something that could be problematic in the future. [break][break]

”Take THIS you guppys!” The woman twisted her lance up in a defensive position to block in case any of the monsters decided to charge, and tossed one of the orange beads from her pelt at the edge of the boat. Once it got there the bead would suddenly explode, showering the side of the boat with glitter. ”Maybe not the best for our microplastic problems BUT IT SHOULD KEEP THEM OFF AT LEAST!” [break][break]

On DeeDee’s side of the boat, monsters were also trying to climb aboard the ship. With her and BomDee working together, they managed to knock some of the monsters right off the side of the ship! After seeing some of their allies defeated so easily, the fish-creatures must’ve decided to stop boarding; no more tried to climb up the boat after that.[break][break]

Though there were fights here and there around the boat, only one fish stood facing DeeDee and her Summons. It looked almost similar to a goblin, but with fins and webbed appendages, slimy purple skin, and a head of deepsea fish with jagged teeth and greyed out eyes. The creature held a make-shift staff of its own, one adorned with dark pearls and seaweed. [break][break]

The creature reared its head back and spat two large bubbles onto the ground in front of it, which it then zapped with a shock form its staff. The bubbles popped, revealing a dark-green crab with a massive claw, and a red-orange starfish with a single big eye in its center. The fish-thing that summoned the monster’s raised its stuff and gurgled some kind of command to the monsters, before pointing its staff forward to send a zap of electricity right at DeeDee herself.[break][break]

The crab scuttled forward, charging towards BomDee with its big pincher raised. It threw an opened-claw punch towards the waddle so that it could be crushed in the claw. The arc’d its arm up as it made its attack, trying to pick up BomDee to dangle it in the air. [break][break]

As the starfish blinked awake, it flew up into the air. It liked to take advantage of its flight to get the drop on opponents, but as soon as it noticed the dragon, the eye curved in anger. How dare there be another creature in the air with it! Kramer would find a purple laser coming his way, shot right out of the starfish’ eye as it hovered through the air. Not long after the first laser, it spun itself and fired a second laser towards the dragon. [break][break]
