What’s inside?

A mysterious treasure chest has spawned randomly in the world. This particular chest can be found in the spookiest regions of the Forgotten Mists Floating on one of the more substantial islands is an old crumbling wizard’s tower. Inside the tower is nothing but ruins. Located in the lower level of the tower is a dusty treasure chest. Beware though, the undead seem to be rather active on this island. They will not let you into the tower without a struggle. Will you be one of the three lucky adventures that find this chest? You'll have to RP out a post of you finding the chest, make sure you've got the right requirements before attempting or things might get odd. In your post, please write about you fighting monsters and exploring the tower of items.

Nikolas floated slowly through the mist, he was tired. That Banshee and those two wisps really took a toll on him. While he had been able to level up during the encounter, he still had used too many abilities at once. Nothing was still on cooldown and his stamina was starting to return but it had been a lot. As he floated, his eyes were drawn to an old-looking tower on the island beneath him. While ruble was always to be seen, this one was not of the old world like most. No, this seemed like something the System would have made. The biggest giveaway that this was the case was the sheer number or undead that seemed to have swarmed around the tower. Fearful that it might be more than he could chew but still tempted by the thought something rare might be down there, Nikolas opted to do some sleuthing.

As Nikolas floated downward, a cluster of undead started to take notice. Nikolas moved towards the tower, noting that none of the undead seemed to fly. He reached into his inventory and dropped an odd-looking piece of ice. Upon impact with the ground, the ice exploded and caused those undead around to instantly die. “Wow, I wasn’t expecting them to be that weak.” While he may have cleared out a handful there was plenty left and they were moving in towards him. “Well shit.” He had recovered most of his stamina but he didn’t want to overextend before even getting to the tower. Nikolas would then take out a whimsical-looking wand and begin to doodle in his Endless Tome for a moment. Once he was done, the image of several copies of Nikolas would spring from the page and start flying about, mesmerizing the undead. “Perfect.” He said with a smile. He knew undead were not known for their intelligence.

Now, with the dead distracted, Nikolas was able to use his Mangaka Camouflage to dawn an appearance of the Banshee he just killed and floated towards the tower. Once instead, he discovered that no undead seemed to be heavily lurking about. He was able to float aimlessly until he reached the basement and a rather ominous-looking chest. A small status screen appeared and after inspecting it for a moment prompted Nikolas that he did not reach the certain requirement. He scrunched up his nose and started dumping points into leveling up. Once he did that three times, his MAGI rose to the next rank and with it a ding as he now was able to open the chest.

It was like he was never there, an Enigma of the area that blended in the tie idea of the forgotten mist. With the special black shoes that he had on, as well as his invisibility, Enigma was doing his usual investigation routine of looking for some sort of information that he can use to his degree and purpose. Information that involved the secrets of the world, or maybe something that can only be used at a later date while setting it aside in your pocket for the time being. Enigma only heard it in passing by talking to a few people here and there, or simply spying on them since they were unable to see him anyway, he heard of these haunted chests that could be full of treasure or other important things. In regards to these chests, he also heard that they could be mimics that were pretending to be chests. If the latter was true about them being mimics, as well as the fact that the creatures can still hold treasures, they might be the most important discoveries around. Anything worth protecting that was generated by the system could be a nice steal, it was something that Enigma was looking forward to finding out. So far, the search seemed to be a little bit inconclusive as he wandered around the forgotten mists, basically invisible to the enemies that could neither see nor hear Enigma's footsteps. When observing the world in such a way, it was like a different world in Enigma's eyes. If the creatures here had a certain routine that they abide by when players aren't around, that was also information that Enigma could sell. People that had stealth skills would eat it up if it meant that it would make their inflation attempts a lot smoother. "Found something on this floating island, a tower?" Enigma mumbled to himself as he continued to walk. With Enigma arriving at the magical tower, he approached it rather silently as he took a peak at the lack of life that wandered the main floor of the tower. The undead wandered about, the hostility was in their eyes. "Alright, I'll give you someone to play with. Summon, Go Dokkebi!"With Enigma's necklace lighting up with its blue flame, the Go Dokkebi was summoned inside the main floor of the tower and started to get busy by taking all the threats and swinging its powerful club to smash through the zombies. In the meantime, Enigma used his invisibility to avoid the fighting that his summon indulged in to continue his investigation. The chest itself was kept further away, and with the floor being more clear due to the summoned creature killing the mobs and taking on the threat, Enigma checked the requirements. " Oh? it's asking for the stats that I specialize in."It was almost as if it was a perfect chest for him to open, with Enigma flipping over the top to peek at its contents. Three times a thread, this sickle can glow a ghastly purple color. During this time, you can apply a curse on those you damage who have lower [WIL] than your [MAGI]. This curse causes all their current abilities on cooldowns to have that cooldown extended by +1 post!

Canister of Putrid Fog - A glass canister with a nasty greyish-green fog inside. Once per thread, you can toss this canister up to 10 meters away. Upon shattering, all those within 1 meter of the break zone will take a -25% debuff to their [MAGI] for the following two posts.

“LEEEROOOOY JEEENKIINS!” Emir was shouting the name of power that he had learned. It always felt effective because when he said it things died. That was why when he was fighting this zombie giant he was yelling at it. He should have been silent but he was really having an Attack on Titan moment. His blade sunk into the rotten head and removed it from the body.[break][break]
The zombie head fell to the ground followed by the body. Emir did not bother using his cloak to fly. He simply fell out of the sky. When his body would hit the ground it would instead be devoured by his shadow. It would move to the front zombie and he would pop out. It was a nifty trick he had learned from using his desert night so much. His growth was becoming second nature to himself. Emir quickly checked the body for anything worth taking. It was sad that there was nothing worth noting on the bag of flesh.
He dusted himself off and took a look around. If he had to guess by the temperature and relative humidity, he would guess he was on an island or in a dungeon. Emir was only guessing. He was decent in all his subjects post world change. These days Everest was with other mountains floating in the air. Most of his knowledge was jacked. The air felt moist with the smell of rot. He could be in an English Graveyard or even the Gobi Desert. The best he could do was explore.[break][break]
Nothing was looking familiar to him. He was pretty much able to avoid the various undead with ease. They tended to favor the dark. His main class made it so he was a fish in water. Not to mention he was a bit of a Necromancer himself. His slight power over death made him feel like this area was more up to his speed. He actually considered himself slightly lucky to fall into that teleportation pit when he tried to take out the garbage. An all so common occurrence of his and various teleportation things. He did not mind it since he often ended up in really cool places.[break][break]
After some time Emir spotted a waterfall. It was inconspicuous and did not stand out much. In fact Emir was going to ignore it at first. Then he remembered how he was taught that videogames often had stuff behind them. He got close to it then tried shadow traveling inside. When it worked he was pretty happy. There was a gray looking chest that gave off a dark aura. Emir held his khopesh and made his way over. He was going to try and open it. The weapon was just in case it was a mimic. He had already come across one in the form of a toilet. A treasure chest one would even be more likely. He poked it with his sword, before reaching out to flip it open. Ready to activate his ability. He was lucky it was a ‘normal’ chest that opened for him without issue.[break][break]
The Gor Medalion Give +5 to all stats. My god of the black desert's cloak gives +20% (17) to PWR and MAGI (15).
