Dee Dee followed Hana into the tunnels, continuing to draw her hand made map as they went, she even noted the temperature change that Hana commented on so that the hand drawn map had the details she could make for later when they reported this place, she also made sure to note the fire they seen coming from the ants, a very good tell tale sign that they had an elemental affinity, that would clearly be good info to include. As they continued on Dee Dee continued to draw the map and take notes on things, and as they walked into the wider Area Dee Dee looked up and noticed the many other passages and so she used her tape to mark the way back, as well as made a note on the map she was working on as well, they didn't wanna get lost in a place they were exploring now especially since it was now a mission. Though she also took note of the ants in the area and she looked to Hana. Nodding in agreement with her hope that they would be ignored, Dee dee followed along closely with her making sure Kramer and BombDee did the same, Though looking at the map the system was providing there was a mark they apparently needed to get to, at least that was the assessment Dee Dee came to and she assumed Hana had as well since she likely had the same information as her, but the question was which tunnel, looking around she tried to consider things before making a message and sending it to Hana "If we are supposed to explore this place... we ether are meant to find out the places of interest here, or find a path through it, or there is some Treasure room or something of the like we need to make it to, maybe even just the central area of the tunnel intersections? there area a lot of possibilities, but I think we could narrow it down to those since it's explore not Exterminate" was what the message read. Hana nodded along while reading the latest message. "It probably won't be this easy, but..." She pointed to an opening on the map, and then towards its location in front of them. "That's the one closest to the mark, so we might as well start there."

After making that decision, Hana spent the next few moments observing the busy crossroads. "Alright, um...we'll just try walking that way, I guess. Stay close to the wall and try to look, uh, non-threatening?" The glass dagger vanished from her hand before she began to creep out into the open.

Just a nice, casual walk through the giant ant tunnels. The ones ahead looked just barely large enough for her to walk through. The ants probably made them wide enough to fit multiple going through at once, including on the walls and ceiling. So far the insects seemed unconcerned, maybe slightly curious at worst. Hopefully nothing startled them.

Dee Dee looked at the map then to the path indicated by Hana, she then nodded and gave a thumbs up, it was a good point that it was likely not that easy, but you never know, this was just an Exploration mission, It could be as simple as mapping a certain amount of the place as well, and with that thought Dee Dee was about to send another message to Hana, but she noticed the girl was observing the tunnels and Dee Dee didn't want to bother her so she would mention it later. Instead she as well started to keep an eye out. Hearing Hana's suggestion of just walking over and staying non-threatening Dee Dee nodded and put her weapons away, her summons stayed out for now though as they shouldn't be to much of an issue, After all one was a Waddle-dee a Creature known to be harmless to all creatures great and small... at least if you didn't threaten the little guys, so they should be fine, Dee Dee also liked to think she gave off the same feeling at her little round Friend, so looking non-threatening should be easy! With that she followed Hana into walking out, though like Hana she stayed off to the side, the good news was the ants didn't seem to mind them, some seemed to look but not bother them, which was a good thing, Dee Dee wondered if she could buy their way out of trouble with some food? Well best to try that when they actually get into trouble rather then do it now when they were trying to go as unnoticed as possible. but at least she had the option what with all the Tomatoes in her inventory. "So far, so good..." Hana mumbled to herself, before letting out a sigh of relief as they made it to the next tunnel. She glanced back to make sure the others were still following after her, before looking over the map again. It continued to update as they moved through the passage.

"We were heading for the mark, but now we're going off to the side a bit." She looked back again to point this out on the map. "We'll just take the next turn that direction, if we can." Easy enough! Although a few moments later she had to quickly move to one side of the tunnel, as a line of worker ants marched towards them, then right past them.

The truce seemed to be holding for the moment! Eventually the tunnel opened up into another wide room, and Hana picked out the opening that seemed to point towards the mark on the map again. It would take forever if they had to map every single intersection, but she wasn't exactly an ant tunnel expert.

"I guess these little guys are friendly enough, as long as you stay out of their way. It's a good thing we haven't..." She trailed off as they rounded a turn in the tunnel, suddenly staring at a large room full of the insects. The workers they'd seen before were busy shuffling large globs of...what she assumed was food. They were as unconcerned as ever, but...

"Um, I think we found the soldier ants!" They were easy to pick out, larger and more menacing. And these definitely noticed them, and had opinions on the intruders standing at the entrance to this storehouse of ant supplies.

Dee Dee followed Hana nodding as she heard Hana mumble something about good, she didn't hear the whole thing, and really Hana didn't look back at her so maybe it wasn't meant for her but she nodded all the same, and when Hana looked back at her Dee Dee gave a thumbs up, she also placed a little marker on the tunnel wall with the tape and made sure to add in the note of direction into her notes as they continued, the hand drawn map she was making was getting more filled out as they went. Looking up from her work Dee Dee nodded to Hana as she explained the path and pointed it out for Dee Dee on her map, seemed things were going smoothly, and so Dee Dee continued to follow Hana while she was adding detail to the map, that was until something bowled her over and she looked up to see a Worker that was part of a line of them that had marched passed Hana, Dee Dee had been distracted by her map work and hadn't noticed them, the one in front of her started to prod her with it's antenna, apparently trying to identify her, Dee Dee did the only thing she could thing of.. she gave it a tomato.. This quickly prompted the worker to take it then the next worker did the same to Dee Dee, prodding her with it's antenna and after a few seconds Dee Dee realized why and produced from her inventory another Tomato, this continued until all the works that had marched passed Hana had a tomato, then as a group they turned around and returned past Hana, who by this point had gotten a bit ahead of Dee Dee. Dee Dee got up and headed after Hana making sure to mark the tunnel they came through so they knew where the exit was, and nodded as she heard Hana's comment on being friendly, they must be they liked tomatoes after all, but it Seemed Hana cut herself off and Dee Dee looked around her to see what had stopped her, and sure enough there was a massive room full of what they could assume was food and workers moving around and sorting it, But as Hana pointed out it seemed they had found the Soilders. Though Dee Dee had another issue... another group of workers had walked up to her and where prodding her with their antenna, she startled a moment as she wasn't expecting it and then looked down at them confused, then remembered the others doing the same and so she gave them tomatoes, one each... it had appeared they marked her as a food giver... like an Aphid and Dee Dee blinked a moment before Getting an Idea and sending a trade screen to Hana with a stack of 180 tomatoes as she seen some workers moving to gently prod at Hana with their antenna. "when they prod with their antenna wait a second then give them a tomato! I remember hearing in school that Ant's have poor vision and so use scent to find things.. I think I got marked as a food giver, kind of like an Aphid! here accept the trade and we might be able to not have to fight and might even get ant Guards! and don't worry I have plenty more Tomatoes!" was the message attached to the trade as she made sure Kramer and BombDee, who were both also starting to get prodded by workers, also had Tomatoes to hand over and telling them the plan, and if this didn't work... well things were gonna get a little hectic... but at least they had a clear way to run if they needed to get to the surface. Hana had begun to warily back away when the trade request popped up. "Dee Dee? I'm not sure this is a good time." She glanced back at her...spotting the other girl handing out tomatoes to a small crowd of worker ants. That was odd. After a moment to process the situation, she read over the message, accepting the trade.

"Uh, well, it's worth a try..." She began to walk forward instead...keeping an eye on the soldier ants while passing out tomatoes to every worker ant that approached her. It was slow going, but the soldiers seemed to become less agitated as worker ants passed by them carting the gifted food towards their stockpiles.

Hana waved the others her direction, as she angled towards another exit from the room. The further they got from the valuable storage area, the less concerned the soldier ants seemed to be. "We can't just keep handing out food all day, though." At least this latest tunnel didn't seem to have any new worker ants for them to feed.

Dee Dee was quite happy this was working, though it did mean they were busy providing Tomatoes to workers that walked up and gently poked at them with their antenna, it also meant that they didn't have to fight the soldier ants, and as Hana started to feed the ants too they started to slowly move through the room that the guards were protecting without issue, this was all going along swimmingly as far as Dee Dee could see, after all they likely didn't want to deal with a nest of ants on their home turf. Looking at how much her tomato reserves had dwindled they likely could only do that two or three more times at least maybe more if she desummoned Kramer and BombDee so they didn't need to hand out so many at once, but hopefully they didn't come across to many situations like that, and could get out of here before they were forced to have to fight so many ants, as that would likely turn into a running battle, and she didn't wanna find out if they would chase them even on the surface and to the truck, she just fixed that after all. Dee Dee looked to Hana as she made mention of the tactic though and Dee Dee nodded and sent a message "Agreed I don't wanna go through all my tomato Reserves, I need them for my food cart after all! but I think we should be fine if I don't have to do that again, but in an emergency I could maybe do it two or three more times if needed.... maybe more if I desummon Kramer and BombDee so that only we have to give out Tomatoes,, though you have to admit the ants looked cute carrying the tomatoes!" she continued to Follow Hana Towards the marker all the while making sure to add to her hand drawn map, and placing tape now and then. Hana sighed in relief, taking a short break in the latest junction room. Eventually more worker ants did appear, but the news of the strange creatures that brought food apparently hadn't spread throughout the entire nest yet, so they were simply ignored again. She took a moment to read Dee Dee's latest message while they regrouped.

"Cute? Um, I guess..." If she started thinking of them as cute, it would only be more difficult to fight the insects, when it inevitably became time for combat. Maybe it wouldn't come to that, but Hana wasn't going to count on it.

Checking the map again, she considered their options. "I think we've, uh, taken every wrong turn possible, so this has gotta be the right way this time." They'd basically circled around the mark without approaching it. Earth-chan had probably planned for exactly that to happen, hoping they'd cause a disturbance along the way and wind up fighting all the irritated soldier ants.

Another twisting passage, with more curious ants passing by them. "We never got a good look at the building under the street. If that's even what the map is leading us towards. What do you think it is?"

As the group got to the next Junction Dee Dee joined Hana in taking a little rest, and as more workers appeared Dee Dee thought she would need to prepare more tomatoes, but it seemed the news hadn't gotten around yet, that was handy, thinking about it normally if ants found something like that they would guard it, and start to guide it or move it around to places it could get the things it needed to continue to provide food for them, so the news not getting out was likely a good thing last thing she needed was to be abducted by Ants for her Tomatoes. Hana's reply made Dee Dee look at her a second, and blink maybe Hana didn't like bugs? maybe she was more a cat person and would thing a large kitty was more cute? Regardless Dee Dee wasn't about to let the cuteness of something stop her from defending herself if it became dangerous, after all even cute things could hurt you if you were to let your guard down, they were wild animals after all.. or in this case technically monsters she supposed. Though now Dee Dee was wondering if she would be able to tame an ant.. a Worker or a Soldier.. maybe even get a young queen if she was lucky? that would be awesome! ants were great for many things after all, and if she had a nice strong ant she could more easily move her food Cart, and have an Extra friend she could call on to help her with missions and helping people! oh she hoped she would get something like that! Looking over to Hana as she started talking again Dee Dee listened to what she had to say regarding their progress, the good news was they wouldn't have to go the way they had come from to get out so that was handy, the bad news was they hadn't reached the marker ether, BUT it also meant they knew what way to go to get there, and so they were off, Dee Dee making sure to update her hand drawn map and marking the trail they used with clear indicators of where to go to get out. and as they walked by more workers Dee Dee was quite happy to see they were still not very aggressive, it probably helped that they were not attacking anything or damaging the tunnels in anyway. Once more her attention was called by Hana however as she asked about the building they seen and Dee Dee thought about it as she then started to type out a reply, looking it over she nodded then sent it over to Hana "Considering the sense of humor Earth-chan seems to have... maybe it's just a savings and loans place? or even just something like a house? But it seemed to big for ether of those... and the parking lot was large.. .maybe something like a strip mall? or a large shopping mall?" the message read. Hana Sakuyuki |

"I was hoping it was one of those big grocery stores, but-" Hana cut off, doing a double-take as more ants continued marching past them. "Um...does it seem like there's a lot more of them going out of this tunnel?" The line seemed almost continuous now, exiting the area they were approaching to head back towards the food storage area.

Closer to the entrance, Hana had to squeeze against the side of the wall to avoid more worker ants that she now realized were clearly transporting food. They had a bit more breathing room once they popped out into the much more open area. This must've been the cavern they originally spotted, as the destination mark lit up.

They had to round another turn, past some obscuring rocks (and more ants) to get a clear look at what they'd come down here for. It took Hana few moments to recognize what they were seeing...and then, she groaned, rolling her eyes. "...it's not a grocery store. It's a pantry." She winced at the bad pun.

The store was crawling with worker ants that seemed determined to strip it of every last bit of food. The area must've just loaded in, judging by how well all the produce and other items were preserved. And, of course, they had soldier ants as guards. "I don't think we're sneaking by this time, Dee Dee. Whatever counts as the goal is near the back of the building."

Dee Dee nodded something like that would be nice if that's what it lead to, and as they continued down the tunnel Dee Dee too noticed the increase in ants, and it was rather clear they were carrying food as well this caused her to blink a bit as she nodded to Hana's Observation at the increase of more ants, and it clearly was that they were heading the way they had come, which was towards the food storage they had snuck through, well at least the ants were well fed right? As they continued Hana was forced to squeeze past the workers, Dee Dee meanwhile didn't need to squeeze as much, thankfully being so much smaller then Hana it made going past the ants easier, and BombDee and Kramer had the same experience since they too where smaller, Though as they crossed a few of their markers Dee Dee took note of this and the map she had was filled in already around this place, so as they left the tunnel they just did a large circle in she marked it with an x to show it wasn't the right way and added a new mark tot he proper way out which was a large arrow with a checkmark, then she joined Hana. Eventually peeking around a corner Dee Dee seen the grocery store.. then Hana made her pun and Dee Dee looked at her with a very "really?" expression as BombDee facepalmed, Kramer seemed to be the only one that let out a little grumbling laugh, but yes there it was, and looking up at the top of the Tunnel Dee Dee could see what was likely the Grate that they had looked down at the building from, well that solved that mystery didn't it? Though as Hana pointed out the goal post was apparently at the back of the building, and Dee Dee Looked at all the ants and especially the Soldier ants, and well... that would be a hard fight if they had to fight it.. but Dee Dee had to wonder.. after being poked and prodded by the workers for Tomatoes wouldn't they smell a bit like them? then again no other Workers were coming up to them... which made sense.. and this was a food source for the ants.. maybe they could? Looking around it didn't look like there was anyway in without going past the soldier ants.. "Any Ideas? other then using a decoy to draw the soldiers away? cause I don't think we are getting in... unless we get to the roof unnoticed and then make a hole in the roof and drop in from there... which I think we MIGHT be able to do... but then it would be on a time limit to get thigns dealt with" Dee Dee sent the message to Hana as she looked over the building again from their vantage point. "Decoy?" Hana paused for a moment, after reading that. "Maybe..." She made sure to finish the rest of the message, before nodding to Dee Dee. "I think I've got something that will work!" The musician smiled at the thought. "The worker ants aren't in our way...they're our way in!" She seemed very proud of that one.

"I've got an ability that should distract all of them, and also make us faster. But I need to activate it once we're closer to them." The teen summoned her guitar again, as she crept to the edge of their cover. "So, just start running, and try to keep up. I won't leave you behind or anything, don't worry." She smiled reassuringly.

Hana gave Dee Dee and her companions a few moments to prepare, before nodding and stepping forward. Speeding up into a jog as they passed a few surprised worker ants. And then, she began to strum a simple rhythm...as a second Hana appeared. And a third, and a fourth...

The illusory copies were all dancing along to the tune she was playing, spreading out in random directions from the musician. Hana herself seemed to have a rhythm to her steps...which Dee Dee soon realized was transferring to her as well. The worker ants seemed shocked by the strange creatures all around them, dropping their food and scampering to the safety of the soldier ants. Who were now blocked from rushing towards the intruders!

Dee Dee waited to hear what Hana had to say about the Idea, she could easily go out to act as a Decoy, she was fast and could easily get attention, and when in trouble she could use her new skill to swap places with Kramer or BombDee then Desummon them to get them to safety as well, but it seemed Hana had her own Idea as she mentioned the Workers would be their way in, Dee Dee was interested in this and waited to see what Hana had in mind. Listening to her, it Seemed her partner had an Ability well then if that was what was gonna be handy then they should get to it, though she mentioned having to get closer so Dee Dee nodded and quietly Followed Hana closer to the Ants, When Hana Mentioned to just keep running Dee Dee nodded and took out her Staff and picked up BombDee, him being slower then her and Kramer, it would be faster this way, though he was heavy Dee Dee already had a plan to pick up extra speed. As BombDee ensured he had a good Grip and Dee Dee was sure her preparations were done she gave Hana a thumbs up to let her know she was ready as she and Kramer where ready to hit high speed, then as Hana stepped forward Dee Dee followed a little behind her, and Hana Seemed to activate her ability as they followed behind her, Though Dee Dee noticed the tune she continued to run with Hana though then the Tune seemed to speed her up and even though Hana was Slowly Gaining distance on the shorter girl she pointed her staff and as Kramer kicked off the ground and also flapped his wings to pick up speed, Dee Dee also lifted off the ground and also increased in speed suddenly, easily catching up to Hana and following her into the building now that the ants couldn't go after them. Using friendship staff to use Kramer's Flight ability

Hana slowed for a moment after rushing through the front door to the store, glancing back to spot Dee Dee and her dragon flying through the opening behind her. Smiling at the sight, she continued inside. Darting between worker ants as the copies of her zig-zagged along through the aisles near her, still dancing to the rhythm she was playing.

"Almost there! I think it's right over...here!" At the end of the aisle loomed a set of double doors into a large walk-in freezer, with several wary soldier ants standing guard in front. With another glance behind her, Hana picked up speed. "Stay back for a sec!"

Dashing forward, she raised a hand off her guitar for a moment. As the music stopped, the dance moves of the illusory copies began to slow. A moment later, bright blue and purple sparks and flashes of light were emitted from her hand, momentarily dazzling the guards. Skidding to a stop, she brought down the hand to strum a power chord...a wave of sound blasting the stunned ants away from the doors, as her decoys struck a pose.

Flinging the door wide, she held it open with her body as she returned to playing the tune, sending her distractions dancing again. This seemed to be their destination, as the mark on the map was not only lit up now, but displaying a 1/2 status next to it.

Dee Dee was forced to land as they continued going though the burst of speed did help her keep up with Hana, She continued running with Kramer and Hauling BombDee as they continued on, the Copies of Hana were doing their jobs in keeping the Ants distracted, giving them a good open chance to make a quick ingress to the building, getting out would be the fun part it would seem. but as they raced in Hana gave a heads up on how close they were and she put on a bit more speed. Then Hana called for her to stay back and Dee Dee slowed her pace so she would fall behind a bit, letting Hana have the space she needed the Copies of her seemed to slow as Hana paused the music then sparks and light flashes, as she let out a massive wave of sound blasting the ants away. Dee Dee then picked up speed, as Hana held the door opened for her. Kramer being Faster made it there first, Dee Dee Followed after Carrying BombDee, into the room and she seen the Display notifying that both where there now, as she gave Hana a thumbs up as she took out her dagger incase she needed to fight something, thankfully the room seemed to be empty, as the cold of the room seemed to deter the ants, even if they were fire it seemed they didn't wanna deal with the cold, that just meant that they could expect enemies from at least.
