Dee Dee had seen the request and so she accepted it and headed out into the area it seemed nature here was quite different then the Earth before the Flash and so learning things would be needed, Medicinal herbs was something she had learned for Survival back Pre-Flash but now some of that knowledge was useless, and she had much more to learn, at the very least it meant she could add to what she did learn, and help people all at the same time.

When she took the job she had made sure to grab a small book that had the common Medicinal herbs of the Area in it and now to identify them, and she was reading it as she walked, looking up now and again to make sure she was going the right way. In all honesty the work would be helpful to people but it also meant she got to go out and learn more about the new nature, maybe she could find more to love about it then she already did?

As she walked and read she made note of where she was so she wouldn't get lost, and continued on her way, slowly though she got more absorbed in the book reading longer and longer between looking back up to make sure she was going the right way, thankfully the rest of the way was a straight line so there was no worries there at least. So on she walked slowly getting more and more lost in her book and reading each passage for the more important Medicinal plants so she could make sure she could Identify them... not that she assumed she would be able to without having to refer to the book all the time, but it was a way to start.

Eventually she totally lost herself in the book and didn't even notice the man in front of her as she walked up silently behind him and bumped into his back causing her to stumble backwards and fall over with the Book going flying up into the air as she flailed to catch herself. Just as it looked like she might be able to do it, the book came back down and bonked her on the head causing her to fall over and land on her back with the book falling on her face pages open and facing up, turned to the page with the most Common Healing herb that grew in this area.

Dee Dee herself raised her hand in a little wave at the man unsure if he looked to see her.

As she lay there book still on her face Dee Dee wondered why, if he knew she was there, why didn't he say something so she wouldn't fall over? Or at least not bump into him? Well it Didn't really matter he sounded okay and so Dee Dee got up and put the book away as the man spoke. The good news was he seemed to be an expert when it came to survival in a jungle, she was fairly good at it too though she was by no means an expert, she had simply trained to be decent in survival situations before the whole Flash happened, as part of her trying to be as useful as possible if something came up. So hearing that she was with an expert was quite the stroke of luck.

she finished dusting herself off and putting the book away as she looked up at the man as he introduced himself. he mentioned the mission he was one and it sounded like her own, though as he continued he mentioned an ideal plant for the mission, which she was unaware was the case, she thought the mission was for general Medicinal herbs not specific ones, so running into him clearly was a stroke of luck as she may have brought in the wrong or less effective plants and likely not enough of any one of them. So a better turn out may be done if they gathered a lot of a specific plant. She nodded eagerly at his question on if she was here for the same reason.

Thankfully instead of having to ask, Idir started to explain the plant he was talking about, she hadn't heard of the name of this plant before, as he started to describe it in detail Dee Dee took out a notebook and started to rapidly write notes on his description, it would help for later if she ever needed to find this exact plant again, and best of all he seemed to know it's properties, that would also help if she needed to know a plant that had such properties so she could quickly find it. As she continued her note taking on it's properties and description he asked her a question and she looked up and nodded eagerly once more.

After she was done taking her notes on the plant he described she took out a smaller note book and wrote in it "Hello Idir I am Dee Dee, nice to meet you, and yes I am here for the herb gathering mission, though I thought it was just for any medicinal herbs so thank you for the clarification before turning it around to the man for him to read and she gave a little Thumbs up.

Dee Dee finished taking her notes and read them over nodding slowly to herself as she finished reading them... the started to reread them.. doing this a few times before finally putting the book away for the time being and looked back up at the man giving him a thumbs up to let him know she was ready to move out and do the mission, they would have a lot to look for especially if they were uncommon plants like he said, though she would likely have to refer back to her notes now and again to make sure she was grabbing the right thing. The Good news was from her Survival training back before the flash she had already known that the best way to learn survival and plant Identification was to have someone that knew already teach you, a book could only take you so far until you took a leap to see if what you learned was right, and even then you had to make sure to do it with a plant that didn't have a poisonous or dangerous look alike

With the Knowledge she just gained safely written down and stowed so it wouldn't be lost or damaged she looked at Idir who seemed to be staring a bit at her before he finally asked her a question, she stood there blinking as he asked her why she was unable to speak, and then quickly followed by if there was something wrong with her, then he offered a possible reason she might be staying so quite and she blinked up at him with that same passive look on her face, Technically she could say it was a Vow of silence since she wanted to be just as Waddle-dee like as possible, that would very technically be true, but really she was just very shy. she forced her self to be more out there physically but actually talking to people? she couldn't really bring herself to do so.

It was one of the reasons as a kid she really liked the Waddle-dee, they never talked but people seemed to totally understand them, it was one of the reasons she had such bad eight grader syndrome when she was younger, though she was very glad it wasn't anything horribly embarrassing, though it did nothing in helping her learn how to talk to people, Introspection aside she took out a different notebook and wrote on it "Communicative... issues.. Shy" Was all she wrote, she was aware she had the problem, but getting over it back before the Flash where there were less important things to worry about? that would have been somewhat more doable. Now? With so much to worry about? She doubted it should be focused on when it meant very little in the grand scheme of things.

Dee Dee listened to the man as he spoke, the Words he said sounded profound.. but she didn't understand what he meant at all, there were other more important things to worry about she figured then her learning to be less shy, people needed homes safety, food, water, there was a lot to do and really stopping to try to get over her inability to really talk to people was something she figured she could leave on the back burner for the time being till things got more stable. Though that may take a long time.

She followed after him all the same as he did seem to have the information they needed to find the plants they were looking for, she would be quite silly if she didn't try to at least learn from him about the mission, though he did start talking about other things and it was an interesting story to listen to at the very least as they travelled, though she did keep her wits about her just in case there was something dangerous about in this place.

The man continued on about classes and Dee Dee remembered her's was summoner and she nodded a bit as they continued on, though he mentioned god being the one that gifted it to them, but she was sure it had said it was something called Earth-chan that had given them their classes. As for becoming a role model? Dee Dee wasn't to sure on that, but she did hope perhaps her helping others was done by others as well, since it would help everyone out in the long run and so as she followed along with him she nodded hopefully.

Idir continued on about her tapping into things inside her, and while that all sounded like it would make a lot of sense if she understood it all, sadly it was flying over the girls head for the moment, it was a lot to take in after all and not as concrete as learning about a specific plant that they were actually out looking for, more philosophy which the poor girl always had trouble with the more Academic things rather then the practical skill based things, Survival and learning about plants being more about skill then book learning after all.

It was then that Idir pointed out the animal and Dee Dee seen it struggling and she heard what Idir was saying but she didn't really follow that line of thinking, there was an animal in trouble, she could help it, so why not help it? So she was off like a shot.. well not really that fast, she was approaching carefully and calmly, not trying to look like a predator, and as she got close the animal started to struggle more, that's when Dee Dee produced a Tomato out of her pack and she rolled it over to the creature who simply sniffed it then started to eat it as she used the distraction to get closer and let it get used to her presence before she started to slowly take the Wax like substance off it, being careful to not hurt the creature and giving it an additional Tomato when it was done the first. Till eventually she managed to free it and she backed off from it.

The creature took a moment to rest before springing to it's feet and dashing off, and then Dee Dee turned around and looked to Idir as she took out her Note Book and wrote on it before turning it for him to read. "If one can help another, they should try to do so, it may result in no immediate gain.. or none at all ever, but that doesn't mean one shouldn't help when they can" the writing said as she nodded clearly happy with the work she did.

Idir had always prided himself on his knowledge of the creatures that roamed the land. He had spent years studying their behavior and patterns, learning to respect the circle of life that had developed as a result of their introduction. As such, he had expected Dee to follow his lead and heed his words like a sponge. He hoped that she would share his respect for these creatures and their environment, and that she would absorb his teachings and learn from his observations.

The best way to benefit from observing these creatures was when one could do so without impeding their actions. Idir knew this, and he had hoped that Dee would understand it too. He had hoped that she would see the value in letting the creatures go about their business and observe them from a distance. But when Dee had come across the trapped creature, Idir had realized that his hopes were misplaced.

The trapped creature had fascinated Dee, and she had been unable to resist the urge to help it. Idir had watched as she slowly and carefully approached the creature, offering it a way out of the sticky, viscous goop that had ensnared it. He had watched with a mixture of admiration and trepidation as Dee had risked her own safety to help the creature escape. Idir had acknowledged Dee's choice, but he had warned her that even small animals could be poisonous, and he had no antidotes in his inventory.

"You need to be careful for now on. Don't act too indepndently without knowing what it is. "

He had preferred to be careful when dealing with unknown creatures and to investigate their nature before taking any action. He had admired Dee's courage in getting close to the creature despite the potential dangers, but he had also worried about the risks she had taken.

Idir had been curious about the creature and its fate. He had wondered if it would have found a way out of the goop if Dee hadn't intervened. He had speculated that the creature might have chosen suicide over being eaten by a predator, or that the goop might have had a complex internal process when animals ingested it as a food source. He had wondered what kind of predator would come after the little creature after being trapped by the plant. But all of those questions became moot when Dee's kind heart played a role in the creature's escape.

Idir recognized that it was not his place to dictate how Dee should live her life in this new world. Her kindness could be revered, but it could also get her killed if she mistook something. That too would be her destiny. He had accepted that he could not control her choices or her fate, and that he could only watch and learn from her actions.

Suddenly, Idir detected a new scent in the air. Sniffing Dee, he confirmed that it wasn't her scent. He wondered if it was a shampoo or perfume. Either way, it was a new smell that hadn't been in the area before. He knew that he needed to investigate further, to find out who or what had brought this new scent to their territory. He hoped that whatever it was wouldn't pose a threat to them, but he was prepared to defend himself and Dee if necessary.

"Show yourself! I can smell Balenciaga from a mile away," he called out, his voice echoing through the forest.

Seeing the Woman was not trying to attack them Dee Dee let the Aura vanish from her hand but something did catch her eye, a new little screen popped up for her and she looked at it Level up? From helping the animal? Dee Dee was glad to see they got things like this not just for killing, though she had three choices and she looked them over, and she decided to go with the mystery option since that could be helpful, though this wasn't her first level up, she was just surprised she got it for letting an animal go free. as it decided her mystery item she looked over at the other two as she was given a chance to introduce herself.

giving a little wave she took out her notebook and wrote on it "Hello I am Dee Dee nice to meet you! I am glad you are not a monster and are just a person! and what Mister Idir said is right getting points is helpful, but more importantly the Medicinal herbs are very helpful for others that may need them so gathering them is something that needs to be done to help others.. also would ether of you like a Tomato?" she put the notepad away after they both read it and pulled out three tomatoes holding two out for the other two people with her as she nibbled on the third.

As she waited to see if they would take the Offered Tomatoes, Dee Dee was quite happy that more people where out here looking for medicinal herbs, that means they could get quite a few to take back and help more people, it also meant that if they ran into any trouble there was more of them to deal with it, Granted she had her two summons with her but she hadn't called them out yet as they were not really needed at the moment, she would also have to find Mr.Beast after this and see how Ragline and him where doing? Maybe they would need more help with Caravan guarding?
