With the last of the imps defeated, the group would be able to focus back on Hana and try to cure her of her status infliction. "Having some sort of cleanse ability would be really clutch right now. That's definitely something that I'll have to look into getting." the teen thought, adding it to his mental list of another item to get.[break][break]
As Sebastian watched, the fog around the back of the room began to clear up, revealing to the group the final boss as he sat half-submerged in his bath, flanked by 2 female succubi and a small imp attendant while smoking a fat cigar. "Well someone is nonchalant. Buddy, you're just an early mission boss." Sebastian taunted to the fat imp boss.[break][break]
The imp boss bit through his cigar and rose up in a rage, a fireball appearing in his hand before a crashing sound came from the back of the room. It was soon followed by the back wall being broken in sending a cloud of dust flying out. Sebastian could make out a slender figure in the cloud before it ran forward and grasped the two succubi by the neck, snapping them in one go. The imp boss bellowed a hateful rage before lobbying the fireball at the mysterious being which merely brushed off the attack before landing a bone-breaking kick to the boss, sending it flying back into another wall where it slumped over, dead.[break][break]
Sebastian watched all this from the other side of the bathhouse, dispassionate as he analyzed the fight so far. "Whatever that thing is, i'd estimate its has somewhere about B power with how easily it broke their necks. It can move faster than D speed and has some defense as well given how it took that fireball."[break][break]
The remaining imp had been trapped under the rubble when the being walked up to it and stepped down on its neck, breaking and kill it before it turned to the group of 4. Panels began to open up on its side and Sebastian had a second to widen his eyes before rockets streamed out, aiming for him.

Nubia glanced around with a smirk that oozed with pure glee. Satisfied by her handiwork she found herself flicking the blood of her blades before returning them to their sheathes. It was time to figure out what was going on with not just her but this weird bathhouse.[break][break]
Nubia was all smiles as they moved further onward, she watched as Enigma looted the corpses, good, somebody had to get every last bit of loot they could. Otherwise, what good was this trip, and what would be the point in so much killing? Besides the thrill of battle anyway, the imps hardly put up any true fight.[break][break]
Nubia smiled as they moved further into the bathhouse only to see a large imp with a cigar. Though she didn't mind a large man with a cigar, she wasn't fond of someone or rather something using one in a bathhouse of all places, that was just tacky. What was this, some inaccurate mob boss movie?[break][break]
Though Nubia watched as pretty soon it seemed they didn't have to worry about the ol' soggy cigar imp, when another new mecha foe appeared before them, quickly dispatching the previous boss with ease as they all watched. "Wow, talk about making an entrance," Nubia mused, her feet already dripping on the ground beneath her as she did a light jump from side to side, building her speed while standing in place.[break][break]
She crouched slightly before rocketing forward, simply tossing back the words, "I'm advancing on the target," in her wake. She rushed forward avoiding the rockets and letting her speed build as she closed in on the creature.

nubia Hana Sakuyuki sebastian Enigma was primarily focused on fulfilling the criteria to cure Hana's condition and wasn't too concerned with fighting. However, he couldn't help but overhear the other team members discussing the arrival of a new, powerful enemy on the scene. This enemy was a terrifyingly strong monster that could easily crush even the imp boss. It appeared to be some sort of demonic robot or android, which surprised Enigma. Finishing the crafting that automatically occurs after gathering the ingredients, Enigma tossed it to Hana. "Use this! We need you right now!"He realized that this new enemy was incredibly fast and strong, and if the team wasn't careful, they could all be killed in the blink of an eye. Enigma quickly sprang into action, using his powers to send a wave of colorful butterflies to intercept the missiles being targeted at Sebastain. The butterflies were moving at a similar speed to the rockets, and with a damage rank of B, they were able to overpower and destroy the rockets before they hit Sebastain and Hana. Despite the enemy's speed and power, Enigma was confident that he wasn't completely outclassed. He knew that Nubia was faster than this enemy, so he still had a chance to make a difference. With this in mind, he sent a second wave of butterflies toward the killbot, and snuck in a razzle-dazzle to explode within its vicinity as well. Even if the butterflies missed their target, Enigma was determined to have the razzle-dazzle stack on the killbot. "This thing is strong!"stats

razzle dazzle - One of your butterflies glows and explodes. It does not damage a target(s) of your choice within ten meters of it. It does a check of your [MAGI] against their [DEF]. If failed the target is left with a subliminal message of failure. As long as they are affected you can null one ability, attack, or defense of a target once. The target thinks whatever they did fail simply because of their own capabilities lacking. It does not lead back to this ability. This ability can only be used once every five posts. The commands can stack up to five times. This command cannot be cleansed unless it is known by whoever is trying to remove it. The failura only happens once which is for one post.

"What is that? Did you find the Purity thing?" Hana called out to Enigma as she saw him examining one of the items he'd looted from the devils. A moment later, the status screen she'd been looking over began to malfunction, becoming distorted and obscured by static before snapping out of existence entirely as the new arrival crashed through the wall and into the previously lurking greater devil.

Hana flinched and ducked reflexively, but there wasn't much else she could do at the moment. "Th-that doesn't seem good!" She let out a confused yelp as Enigma tossed her the spray bottle, fumbling it a few times before snatching it out of the air. The teen hurried to look over the strange item, wincing again as missiles exploded nearby. The poor bathhouse was rapidly becoming exposed to the cooler outside air as holes were blown in the walls and ceiling.

"I hope this works!" Hana squinched her eyes closed and sprayed the supposed cure onto her head, then arms and hands. After a moment the bottle popped out of existence as she stumbled forward a step, no longer held in place. The musician let out an excited squawk of triumph...before noticing she was still bright red and wearing a bathrobe. She could worry about that and the horns later, though.

As the musician was gathering herself, the demonic robot pulled its fist back to attack, before Enigma's butterfly exploded near it. While its expression didn't (and couldn't) change, there was a brief, deep pulsing tone as 'ERROR' momentarily flashed across the glowing visor on its face.

"This party's getting crazy!" Hana followed up the exclamation with a riff on her freshly summoned guitar, as illusory copies of the musician shimmered into existence all around the demonic machine, partially obscuring its view of the others and flooding its sensors with new targets. Nubia felt herself speed up even further as she rapidly closed the distance, her mechanical foe seemingly moving in slow motion.

Now that Hana was all set up, she could strum a power chord and strike a confident pose. Nubia saw the monster freeze in place from her perspective, while she practically disappeared from her allies' view, blurring into a flickering, steel-colored shape. "Let's rock!"

He may have accepted that he couldn't dodge the missiles in time but he could at least ensure that he would survive the attack.[break][break] He was saved from finding out if his efforts were enough by Enigma launching an attack, destroying the rockets, and striking the robot with his second butterfly attack while Hana slammed out multiple notes from her guitar. As his stats were boosted, Sebastian noted the system message letting him know that his core had upgraded, granting him a new sub-ability to create spiderlings. Summoning 6 of them with the new boost to his vitality Sebastian charged forward, hoping to use Nubia's attack as a distraction for him to land a critical blow.[break][break] The robot meanwhile had activated another ability upon Hana's usage of her guitar, attempting to weaken her effects on its to no avail. Noticing Nubia's approach, panels once again open up as it attempted to fly to dodge her attack even as it began to gather a large amount of energy before letting loose an aoe blast.[break][break] {Stats}

Nubia dodged to the side to avoid getting crushed by bits of the ceiling that had come crashing down. She made a tsk sound, as the cool air brushed against her skin. She hoped to use this bathhouse to relax after clearing the monsters out. " what a shame, here I thought I had found myself a little hole in the wall for a nice bath." [break][break] Nubia sighed, her body at an angle from her early dodged as she pivoted to the left, she caught her balance with her left foot and then brought down her right for stability before bending her knees, righting her sliding body using the slick floor to her advantage she swung her upper body toward the direction of the robot, bent her knees, bringing her midsection closer to the ground. She let out a long breath and then pressed with all her might with the ball of her foot against the ground to rocket forward. [break][break] She had built up enough of her C rank speed to now move at B rank, her body finally adjusting to its potential movements. She moved just toward the bot as Enigma's attack landed, leaving behind trails of its color. She drew her blade as she closed in slashing at the mid-section of the robot. Only for it to move back as she felt a rush of heat and then realized the bot was making a last-ditch effort to try and escape. Cute.[break][break] The creature became a blur of color as Nubia felt herself increase in speed once more. " Black Sunflower, Red Soil" were the words she muttered as she stabbed into the robot, dislodging one of its legs with a quick slash. It seemed to go still as the words " Let's rock!" could be heard from Hana. She spun bringing her blade to her side as she willed her ability 'Clipping Strike' to activate. Even as she spun as her body began to move she felt more graceful than ever before. [break][break] With a murderous smile and willing herself to move forward, Nubia could feel her blade as it sliced through the robot. It was so smooth that she longed to cut it once more, it felt as if she were gliding sharpened scissors through silk fabric. The world around her blurred and she could feel the steam and air rush against her, matting into her, brushing through her clothing attempting to soak it. Though as she came to a halt, 15 meters away she pivoted, the water forced off her with such speed and velocity that it misted around her in a blast of mist.[break][break] When it cleared Nubia could see the robot falling back before landing on the ground with a thump and splitting the last of its attacks still attempting to go off. Nubia could feel the effect of the EMP kicking into place. As she felt like the strength she had just exerted, that she had just utilized had been sapped away by the charge of electricity in the air, but just as simple as it came it seemed to dissipate with the robot's destruction. [break][break] Nubia got a small notification from her menu that she had gotten a critical hit thanks to her passive, and that the stagger chance from her clipping strike ability had gone off. Even if the creature had survived the effects of two B rank strikes, Nubia hoped there wouldn't be much more to finish it off if there was anything left. [break][break] " Woah, awesome ability, Hana," Nubia said as she began to rock rhythmically from side to side getting into the feel of the music. It looked as if both Enigma and Sebastian were almost moving rhythmically due to Hana's ability, not to mention the multitude of clones of her there. Nubia deduced that it was most likely Hana's skill that made her feel and move so gracefully. [break][break] Nubia did one instance of Basic damage with her sword, to deal B rank damage and cut off its legs this activated her passive to deal double damage after landing on a 1 roll. Hana Sakuyuki sebastian nubiaEnigma couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as he watched Hana re-enter the fight, now armed with the combination of items that had proven so effective against the monster. With her bearings regained, she wasted no time in making her presence felt. In fact, her ability to summon illusionary copies of herself was so impressive that Enigma found himself wondering if he might be able to pull off a similar feat in the future. As the group continued to press the attack, it was clear that they were working together in perfect harmony. Sebastian's army of spiders swarmed around the creature, while Nubia's blitz attack sent the being reeling in a blinding red flash that was almost too fast for Enigma to comprehend. One moment the demon machine was still standing, the next it was in tatters on the ground. The robot wasn't finished yet, however. It managed to unleash an EMP attack before being finally defeated, but Enigma was ready for it. His main core ability allowed him to interact with such an attack, and he responded by sending a wave of butterflies to collide with the EMP wave and overpower it with his current magic stats. As the wave broke through and hit the creature, Enigma delivered the finishing blow with one final wave of butterflies that pummeled the robot into shutdown.
"Alright, we did it!" Enigma exclaimed, feeling a rush of adrenaline as the group emerged victorious. And it wasn't just luck that had gotten them through the battle - they truly were a great team, their combined efforts allowing them to overcome a foe that would have been unbeatable on their own. As they caught their breath and took stock of their surroundings, Enigma couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in all that they had accomplished together.

While she winced in expectation of the blast, thankfully it was nullified. The musician had continued to play while considering her next move, but...it didn't seem like she needed to make one.

The battlefield was hectic as numerous abilities were activated and countered. Hana's music seemed to push them all into sync with one another as the group capitalized on each other's actions. After Nubia slashed off the robot's legs with her blade, Sebatian's spiders quickly moved in and defeated the weakened robot even with the emp blast that it let out.[break][break]
Sebastian never got a chance to find out what that did though as Enigma let loose another swarm of butterflies that clash with the attack and overpowered it, slamming into the demonic robot and shutting it down once and for all.[break][break]
Sebastian sat back, finally using the free time to catch his breath before getting caught in the elation that Enigma was exuding. "Things were really touch and go there for a while but glad we all made it out almost unharmed." the teen said, glancing over at Hana to see if her condition had changed now.[break][break]
She was fully back to normal yet it seemed but hopefully, by the end of the mission, she'd return to human form. Sebastian was about to turn to loot the robot's body when he noticed another spider enter the room and climb up Hana's bathrobe, disappearing within."Interesting. Seems I might need to have a chat with Hana about that." the assassin thought before going to claim his spoils.

Seeing how as everyone’s abilities went off Nubia couldn’t help but be impressed by how seamlessly everything flowed, she found it fun and enjoyable. Not to mention everyone seemed to have some rather strong abilities, from clones, to spider minions and some damn powerful magic butterflies. Nubia was just awestruck.[break][break]
Nubia walked back the group with glee in her step, her clothes now dry from the wind break speed she was moving at and the giant holes in the building that let all the steam out. Everyone had their say and Nubia simply smiled with glee, she bowed back to Hana, before asking the girl “do you ever do live concerts?” She asked with a smile. It had been a long while since she had actually gone to one after all.[break][break]
She then watched as Hana brought up the list again. Imp Purity, they still needed four more. “No, biggie I’ll go grab some of those now,” she dashed off quickly slicing through and looting the corpses of the monsters nearby, until her menu stated what she had gotten was in fact that. After which she met back up with the others before leaving out. “It might have been a little hectic at times, but I think it was still a fun time. Shame about the bathhouse though”.[break][break]
