As they all got acquainted, Chae-Yeong and Il-Seong found themselves becoming more relaxed around the party of men that had arrived. Perhaps things weren't so bleak after all, at least in Chae-Yeong's eyes. Il-Seong still seemed to be rather defeated. Though Chae-Yeong found herself simply throwing a nasty look toward Sami, she didn't like but beggars can't be choosers. Though perhaps she didn't like him simply because he spoke the truth of the matter. Though she shook her head, her dirty blond hair matted to her face by sweat slinging a bit of the moisture around. "No, if we can get him to the green we'll be fine..." She didn't bother elaborating on that as Orvis told her to save her energy and focus on deep breaths. She did just that, nodding to the kind boy with a look of appreciation in her demeanor. [break][break]

As Orvis inspected the statues he would see some of the statues, in fact, did look like they were forced to fight each other, some looked as if they were running, some looked as if they were terrified, and others could be seen in a fetal position, some under the foot and trample of other statues. [break][break]

Il-Seong, shook his head, "It's- It's more than that... Deadlier," Il-Seong said in relation to Sami's words about people losing the worst game of Simon says. If the game was that simple, if this damn tutorial had been nothing more than listening then he and others would've had a better chance at surviving. Were all these tutorials so difficult? Why did they have to be in this one? The thoughts plagued his mind just as they did his sisters, his tears still falling as he was helped by Orvis and Enigma. [break][break]

Then Enigma hit the nail on the head, Chae-Yeong, and Il-Seong nodded in unison at his words, "exactly, we don't get a choice, if he says something we have to do it, and we have to keep moving forward. I think the only way to beat this boss is to get close enough to him in the green." They spoke of this "green" with reverence, as if it was some sort of holy domain, their only savior. Il-Seong allowed himself to be supported by Grumble and Ippo, he muttered the words "thank you," his voice hoarse. His breathing was heavy, standing was unbearable, it was so painful, why did it have to be his legs that were turned to stone? Tears would flow from his eyes, ever increasing. He grits his teeth so hard he was sure a few of them would crack. His face turned red, but even so, he kept pushing on. He didn't know why but as he looked at his sister, perhaps that was the only strength to have him keep going. If he was given a party invite he too would accept. [break][break]

Chae-Yeong bowed her head at their comments about coming to help, "I don't know how to thank you, but please trust me when I say, I'm grateful." She said placing her hand over her heart, she looked over to her brother giving a reassuring smile. His sullen face simply stared back, he wasn't so easily convinced that they'd be okay, but he didn't want to abandon his sister. [break][break]

Chae-Yeong accepted the party invite, but as Ippo tried to move Il-Seong further back he resisted, simply unwilling to move from where they were, stating "if we go back we'll both die, we have to move forward..." His voice was sullen, his eyes glancing over all the statues behind them, he turned his head. He didn't know many in that area, but a few did.[break][break]

Then the giant yawned, Chae-Yeong confirmed Orvis' question by saying "yes." Then from her inventory, Chae-Yeong took out a binder from her inventory, The binder was black, and filled with papers. "M- my class is called Executive, once a day I can give everyone an increase everyone's stats, all of them. I also get this," she said opening the binder, nothing was inside, besides the paper, but there were color-coded sections of different tabs. [break][break]

She grabbed a piece of paper out of the blue tab, ripping it out of the binder. "Since we've joined a party I can increase your stats, but these buffs are paltry compared to my other ability, they don't last too long and I can only swap between other stats every now and then" she tossed the paper into the sky. From then on the paper shattered, turning into a blue fleck of light that flew into each one of them. Each of them would feel their power increase by +5 stat points. [break][break]

"We don't have much time now," Il-Seong said glancing at his sister, he nodded to her, bringing up his own menu and taking out his own inventory. Once he did he reached into his inventory taking out a Hwandudaedo - A single-edged sword that almost resembled that of a katana. Though it had no cross-guard, and the blade was straight rather than curved. The blade seemed almost like that of an antique but its blade glimmered, sharp as if it was new. "I still can't believe you kept that old family heirloom all this time," Chae-Yeong said, giving a warm smile, nostalgia filling her eyes.[break][break]

"I can't believe you fight with a binder," Il-Seong chortled, stabbing the blade into the ground for leverage, the momentary amount of amusement fading as quickly as it came as the pain came rushing back. Then the ground began to shake once more, though it wasn't as strong as before, a slight tremor as the giant began to raise from his seat. [break][break]

Slowly the giant raised his hand, Il-Seong and Chae-Yeong braced themselves, their eyes hardened as they grit their teeth. Then the areas began to glow, three different sections, the ground beneath them all tinted in an overlay of different colors. A mile behind them the ground turned crimson red, where they were standing the ground beneath them became tinted in an eerie yellow, and 1.5 miles in front of them the ground turned a serene green leading toward the giant. The group would notice that the statues within the red area would begin to crumble into dust, however, not just that but that the shades of red and yellow on the ground were slowly moving forward, and that the red area of ground was much larger than the yellow. [break][break]

Then the giant spoke, its voice sounded gravely like two mountains crashing together. Its volume was like a cannon going off near their ears, as the giant commanded the simple edict of "fight!!!" Suddenly all the statues would begin to crack, they warped and changed and armor seemed to grow around them, stone spears appeared in their hands. Then they turned and began to march, moving toward the party. Around them, 6 statues would close in around the party trying to circle around them before jabbing out with the spears.[break][break]

Screams could be heard in the far distance. An explosion went off about half a mile northeast of them. Dust littered that area. [break][break]

Leaning forward Il-Seong stabbed out at the nearest statue northwest of him, crashing his blade into it, causing it to crack as he winced. Chae-Yeong rushed toward him tackling the statue. It crumbled and cracked but her shoulder was clearly bruised, she winced as she spoke. "Attack the statues, if you don't you'll turn to stone, and we have to move! We can't let the red catch us either, or we'll become stone, then the next time it becomes red again, well..." She didn't feel she needed to elaborate considering what they had all just seen.[break][break]

"Get to the green? What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" Sebastian muttered as he considered Chae-Yeong's words. Nothing around them was colored green though he supposed that it'd make sense once this game got started. "Since green traditionally means safety, then I suppose there will be a red zone that pops up that we should stay out of and maybe even a yellow one that signifies we're getting close to danger." Sebastian mused.

As the Korean pair relaxed, Sebastian noticed Orvis going up to inspect the statues, making the spider teen take another look at them. He noted some of them appeared to have been fighting one another, others appeared to have been running while others were trampled under the feet of other statues. All in all, it was very bizarre and set Sebastian on edge as he wondered just what sort of things they would be forced to do for this tutorial. "I'm starting to regret accepting coming here now."

Once both Korean members accepted the party invitation, Sebastian was surprised to feel a surge of energy flow through
his body. Opening up his status window, Sebastian noted that his stats had increased by about 30%, which while not much for his other stats since it only gave him 3 additional points, his power though had risen by 7 points which would come in handy for my assassin technique. Plus the additional 5 power that Chae-Yeong gave him brought him up to a total of 36 which put him at C rank power. "That should come in handy fighting against anything. Hopefully, nothing ends up being too strong here." he thought.

He didn't have to wait long as the giant finally spoke, uttering a single word as the ground began to glow in three distinct colors of green 1.5 miles ahead of them, yellow where they were standing, and red 1 mile behind them and slowly creeping forward as the statues crumbled to dust and warp into 6 stone soldiers as they attempted to jab them with spears. Screams could also be heard echoing out throughout the surroundings, letting Sebastian know that they weren't the only ones fighting in the area.

With Enigma running interference with his odd butterfly abilities, Sebastian would dash forward, reaching into his pockets and producing the feathers he had gotten from his previous tutorial and tossing them at the nearest statues that weren't already being attacked, aiming to take out their heads. If they were dodged, that was fine with him as it merely gave him the chance to get in close and summon his spider legs, aiming to pierce through the nearby heads of the stone statues as his familiar holographic spider web appeared at his feet. "Keep moving forward!

Chae-Yeong and Il-Seong both nodded simultaneously at Sami's comments about red light and green light. They were slowly beginning to calm down considering how competent everyone seemed. Perhaps it wasn't over just yet after all, however, as the giant rose they felt their earlier sense of dread come rushing back. [break][break]

They wondered how these new people would fair considering things were about to go down. Would they be any diffrent from all the people here before? Many of them barely had time to learn much about their class before things got serious, so many of them thought it was a joke, some type of sick game, but many quickly learned it was reality just... Too late. Chae-Yeong found herself wondering if there were any other survivors left than just her and her brother and it showed on her face. [break][break]

Il-Seong and Chae-Yeong's eyes went wide as the party bonus kicked in. They didn't have such a thing before, none of the others had gotten in a party to her knowledge. So far they had all just gone along trying to survive, trying to figure out the system... Well, there wasn't much downtime for that while struggling to survive in this particular tutorial. [break][break]

As the battle, the masked man who went by Enigma took charge shooting out an array of beautiful butterflies that Chae-Yeong found herself envious of. They were clearly more than just decoration as they flew toward the statues surrounding them, crashing into their legs and causing the statue's lower legs to crumble away with the hit. [break][break]

The statues didn't stop moving, however, no instead they kept trying to trudge forward on the broken pieces of their legs, using their stiff arms to move close, some still retained their legs simply taking only enough damage to cause cracks to shoot down the side of their body. 1 had a single leg and continued to hop toward the group. [break][break]

The red aura released by Sami made the statues act odd as they neared, well as odd as moving statues could get. They began to crash into each other chipping away parts of their stone forms. One of the ones crawling on the ground twisted around, its body cracking as it did, and began to crab walk, only for Orvis's club to come crashing down on it, turning it into a pile of stone and dust. "Thank you," Il-Seong said as Orvis defended him. [break][break]

Sami rushed forward jabbing at the stone statue with one leg, the shock didn't seem to do much at first but then the stone statue crumbled at his feet. Allowing them to move forward. Another statue was dispatched by Sebastian, the sharp feather dagger sticking into it, crashing through the other side of it, turning it into a pile of rubble. His spider legs sunk into another approaching statue causing it to also crumble.[break][break]

The group was able to move forward now, Il-Seong was even able to get a hit in with his blade before he began to use it for leather, a crutch to move forward though it proved to be harder than he'd like. His breathing grew ragged as he moved, using the others for crutches. His sister moved over to help him up, using her new strength to hoist him up. A bit of energy returned to both of them as their vitality increased due to the party bonus. Their will and resolve seemed to harden more perhaps as a result of the increase of willpower or the sight that they just had some people that were rather competent. That was until Ippo spoke...[break][break]

"What do you mean how do you use abilities? You just think hard about using them!" Chae-Yeong yelled toward, Ippo quite frankly baffled that the person had made it this far but still didn't know how to use such. She wondered why he even would show up unable to use such. She was so confused, nor did she expect such a comment from someone who had apparently cane to help which meant they most likely had to have completed their own tutorial. [break][break]

Then Sebastian screamed for them to keep moving forward, with her binder in hand, and her brother draped over part of her shoulder she hoisted Il-Seong up trudging forward as fast as she could. Especially as the sound from Ippo's mic rang out. [break][break]

The noise from his mic resounded across the field causing dozens upon dozens of statues to stop in their tracks before turning toward their direction. The group would find that the sound from Ippo's mic was attracting any nearby monsters within the range of the 100 feet which the sound traveled before filtering out!

Suddenly as they moved away from the red-tinted ground that was inching closer, they would find themselves coming upon another forming army of statutes. This time the statue's numbers were double their own. The 14 statues began to move toward them in a cone shape coming from the north.[break][break]

The statues ahead looked almost as if they were marching in a triangular formation, and the group would come to find out they, in fact, were. Three of the statues had stone spears that they angled in front of them, high enough to attempt to stab some of the group in the stomach.[break][break]
