HOW IT WORKS
Trash it, change it, mail – upgrade it
With so many items and skills being handed out to players all over this new world, it was inevitable that there would be a few duds, or at least mismatched recipients. Soyeon's XChange allows players to trade in items and skills they’re not using for coins, or points. Or coin points. Coints.[break][break]
The Coint value of an item or skill varies with their power, and will not be communicated until after the exchange process is completed. Coints are transferred directly to the player’s inventory after they initiate the exchange process with Soyeon. There is no limit to the number of items or skills you can exchange for Coints.[break][break]
Coints can then be spent with Soyeon to create new, more specialized items and skills. The more Coints are used at once, the more powerful the resulting item or skill. More Coints can also be spent to specify some properties of the resulting creation. Items created in this way gain the tag [Minted]. Skills created in this way gain the tag [Guided]. [break][break]
Run short of Coints for an Order? For 10 Points per Coint, Soyeon can use her own personal supply of Coints to split the cost with you! [break][break]

Secret Stache: When an item or skill is exchanged for Coints, you can activate this ability to store it for your own personal use within this ability. You can activate this ability within a thread to summon the item for two posts, before it vanishes on a four post cooldown. Consumables are instead consumed and removed from this ability on use. This ability can only store one thing at a time, and storing something new overwrites whatever else was here.[break][break]
Bit Coint [Active] - When using [Cointy Crafts] to summon the forge you, or your client can pay [5 Coints] to apply +1 Luck to the Forging (to a max of +1). This must be paid separately for every single use.[break][break]
Coupon Queen [Passive] - Once every three months, when duplicating a [Guided] skill you can do so without breaking the Once Per Skill limit. [break][break]

Maybe the idea of destroying a weapon entirely scares you? Perhaps you've grown so fond of it that turning it into coints is just too much to bare? No problem! Soyeon is willing to purchase any items you may want to get rid of but not entirely. The price will be negotiated, but Soyeon will certainly find a new home for your item.[break][break]

"Yooo, this place is sick!" Argent strode into one of Unison Central's gaming shops expecting to find... well, games but what she found was SO MUCH COOLER! The Xchange was set up as a place for exchanges, but not just an ordinary trading company like E2C; no this place had its own System currency and everything! She just had to give it a go!
In a shop like this, it only took a moment for Argent to find the shopkeeper. The assassin herself was wearing a pretty simple outfit, a jean jacket with silver studs, black jeans, and a pair of aviators sitting on her head. Her [Sorcerer's Pendant] hung from her neck as an every day accessory she had taken to wearing, and of cource her Lunar Dagger was sheathed at her hip. Everything else was safely stored away in her inventory.
Or at least, it was. Argent waved at the shopkeeper as she approached the counter and began pulling things from her inventory. "Yo, I can't believe I've never seen this place before! I gotta try it, lemme just see what all I got layin around..." It took a moment for her to figure out what she was doing, but all together, Argent settled on her [Escape Rope], [Mother's Love] bracelet, and [White Frost Necklace]. "There we go, that should do the trick... Oh, duh, I'm Argent by the way!" She tossed a peace sign up as she more formally introduced herself.
Looking around the room, Argent noticed that the Xchange her could also deal in Skills like Dee Dee! "Wow, you've got some REALLY sweet things going on here! You ever hear about E2C? Trader's guild, they got an outpost in the zone, y'know." Argent winked at Soyeon. "You should check it out sometime. Oh, here! I'll turn in my [Kickflip] skill as well!"

It was a little barren compared to her flagship store back home, but this was a cozy little piece of heaven for her! Even for a world without power like this, Earth-chan had left them with a lot of gaming things to discover. [break][break] The door opened as a bell above rang out. Soyeon's expression perked up. Her first customer since acquiring her class! She chugged the rest of her drink and threw it into the trash bin across from the counter. It smacked into the others with an audible CLNK! before rolling down the mountain. [break][break] "Hello!" Soyeon giggled, a little tipsy from her little drink as she waved at the woman approaching the counter. Her voice was warm and inviting, motherly in a way. This woman in front of her was lively, colorful as well. the kind of girl that Soyeon had been before settling down and starting her business. That didn't mean she couldn't dress her RPG heroines after that wild side of her though! [break][break] "Looking to exchange some stuff, sweetie? *hic*" [break][break] She was quick to get to business. It was what Soyeon loved to hear, especially somebody interested in seeing what she could do! Technically Soyeon hadn't been the best at testing out her class, so this would be a great time to iron out any kinks. Several items were placed in front of her. A hearty looking bracelet, some bone tooth necklace thingy and a rope? She did get the feeling it was important though. That's what her RPGs told her, anyway![break][break] "Nice to meet you, Argent. I'm Soyeon." She winked, even making a cute pose. "Hehe, you look pretty cool. I bet you could be a real popstar if you wanted to~" [break][break] Argent's words were another interesting note in this new world. She hadn't been formally introduced with everything yet, not enough to know what guilds were. But the idea of an organization solely to trade was enticing. Just one more thing to check out in this crazy little space that they called their new lives. [break][break] "Not really. I just moved in here, but I'll have to give them a shout. Thanks for telling me about them, sweetie. And I'll take your skill as well. Between you and me," Soyeon said, rubbing her hands together while bringing up her own class menu, "You're my first customer doing this. It was like a candy store, if the candy was currency and made just for the tiny tycoon. Jeanne walked in with a smile on her face as she did anytime she visited a merchant shop - smiles helped build repoire! Looking around she read up on what the shop owner did generally and began zooming up and down the isles of the store to look at the product of the place. Impressive, clean, and simple Jeanne liked this place quite a bit. Appreciation for common stores more then larger places where there could be way too many people in one spot.

Finally walking up to the counter Jeanne would hop a bit as she looked to the shopkeep, recognizing her from the market before, "Bonjour Madame! I have a bunch of stuff I'd like to exchange in! That's probably the preferred method right? Bulk is usually better for selling and spending! You don't mind right? Right?" The pink-haired youth would ask with a glowing level of glee growing at her face. After all, if she understood the store right she could technically get mass-produced piggy banks from the kind lady! One could, after all, never have enough piggy banks!

Patting her stuff down a bit Jeanne would pull out her shiny piggy bank for good luck and duplicate it, setting them both in front of her to try and get good luck for the coming exchange of things. Item after item being deposited neatly either on the ground or counter, "One (Box of Rations), the (Princess' Requiem), an (Ant Farm-Fresh Market), some (Suspicious Seeds), a (Safety Vest), and (French Chocolates)! I'd also like to trade in my skills (Monkey in the Middle), (Corporate Leadership), (Power Nap), and (Special Delivery)! I don't know how many coints that makes, but its enough I'd like to purchase another piggy bank please!"[break]

While leading his new companion to the shop in an attempt to get her scope attached Kurai wanted to test out the shop's capabilities for himself. He'd already checked out the shopkeep's wares on his last visit and had some time to think over what he wanted. There were only a few Skills he didn't use much after all. While he was at it he may as well get rid of some clutter in his inventory. If this went well he may even come back to have her try her hand at Items!
Kurai strode up to the store's owner while the woman accompanying him browsed the store and did her thing. “Hey I wanna get rid of this.” He then pulled a mace fit for a goblin before placing it on the counter. “And there's a couple Skills I want to combine while I'm at it. Corner Peek and Vampire Fangs.” Without waiting for confirmation he sent over a random amount of points since he noticed the price was 'pay what you want'. Although he didn't care about the price he didn't intend on ripping her off either.
Kurai muttered under his breath once the process began. “This better work better than the last time.”

Kurai wasn't sure what to expect when forging Skills together. He wasn't even entirely sure what to expect when it came to forging in general. This was his first time using the process at all. With Dee Dee's Guidebook, he had a good idea of how it worked, but nobody was ever sure what would come out of it. Combining the effects with a new slight upside was about as basic as it got. “Oh hey not bad. You're kinda good at this. I think I'll be trying that again at some point.”
Although she didn't know it yet Soyeon just got herself a loyal customer. Kurai hated using the system store unless absolutely necessary, especially after the terrible luck he had with the Traveling Merchant. The shopkeep's Coints seemed like an excellent substitute since he could influence the strength of the item instead of relying on chance. He did feel slightly bad that her first customer bonus was wasted on a single Coint... He'd have to make it up to her at some point. Perhaps now.
“Say let's see what you can do with these.” The least he could do is give her more business. Kurai didn't need to forge any more Skills at the moment, but he had plenty of items. One he'd been hoping to find more of a use for lately was his Glasses of Seeing. He had a good idea what material he would forge it with, but now seemed like the perfect chance to test out his new Skill. So he took the pair of glasses out of his inventory and handed them to the woman along with some number of points.

Opening the door to the store Noelle would close her umbrella and stop the rain that normally followed her, entering in with what was for once true silence, at least until a sound like a drizzle of rain through a closed window started to resound in the building. Jenny had not expected to ever walk into a game shop again, less so in the dress armor of a unhelmed paladin. But that was just how things were in this new world, and as a paladin of faith. Gaia needed a champion though, and as the Wayfinder of the faith, Jenny needed every bit of help she could get. Not just for herself, and because Genesis as a persona would cause her to need to grow a lot. But because she had already taken in four mouths, and no good leader she had ever seen in a film had left any man behind.

Walking inside with a bright smile and the kind of confidence that only the genuinely confident could manage Jenny looked across the store only to have her eyes lock with a women of Asian descent and curves better then the winding path of the great wall. The door opened yet again as the other customers were being helped, and what a sight it was! A woman clad in armor sans the helmet, stomping through the aisles of her store with the brightest of smiles plastered onto her face. It was just like all of the RPGs that Soyeon ha had played as a child! The heroic adventurer, stopping by the shop at the starting town to stock up on supplies. Maybe the hair was a bit short, but the motherly woman did find herself fully engaged with the other woman standing before the counter! It may have been her life's dream to become just the woman to do something akin to this, but she was more than willing to beep that experience for somebody else! besides, she doubted that any of her old cosplay armor from back in the day with Gavin would fit anymore. Reminiscing on old days aside, she perked up and greeted the other woman as she approached. The old timey speech was a cute quirk, one that made Soyeon had to bite her tongue to keep from fawning over how perfect of a heroine this woman was! Surely she was ripped straight from the pages of Super Shamicon Monthly! She was quick to try and match her tone of speaking, funneling all those years of online MMORPGs in college! "Be not apprehensive, honorable paladin. I am but a humble servant of the Goddess herself, come to assist you in your quest. My wares may not be as material as most other shops, but I can assure you, they are potent magicks indeed." she snickered to herself, leaning in return across from the armor wearing woman, arms crossed from one another and her phone present. Indeed, her eyes did cross over to observe the nooks and crannies of the armor, though she was entirely too giddy about the outfit for it to be anything other than admiration. [break][break]

As you can guess, should you acquire any unwanted items or skills, I can recycle them into new things with my class. The result is rather unpredictable, but such is life! Is there anything I can help you with today, my heroine?~" She listened to the request made of her, simple in theory. Genesis wanted something that would enhance one's growth in the system's given level limit and class. Luckily, she had just the thing for this kind of thing! "I think I have something that may be able to assist you and your friends. Here, this first one will be one me, seeing as how you seem fresh out of a tutorial." Soyeon slid her phone out to pay for the Coints needed for the transaction, paying for it with her own stash as magic began to eminate from her phone and onto Genesis.[break][break]
