After saying his farewells to Vanilla Andy decided that there were a few others he wanted to inform of his plans. To that end, he sent out messages to those he'd become close to inviting them to see his restaurant before it opened. The plan was to inform those of his intent to step back from the guild and doing missions. From here on out his sole focus would be running the restaurant until he was sure it could run on its own. [break][break] For one guest in particular he had many gifts to give her. Hopefully, she would find them useful whether she would sell them or use them in her own pursuits. This guest was, of course, Dee Dee. She was the only other person in the new world that he knew ran a food service after all. Well besides Kitty, but he doubted she would come out of her shop for this and her cafe spawned its own food. [break][break] While he waited Andy prepared a feast for his guests consisting of Devil Chicken, Rush Boar, Volt Deer, Stonk meat, and much more. Each was a creature that he'd encountered or heard of from those in attendance. Perhaps it would be a solemn occasion, but it would be a party nonetheless. Dee Dee flew down on her star, she had gotten the message from Andy, and she had the man as basically a neighbor to her guild since he had his farm and restaurant not to far away from her guild base, it was good to hear he had his place up, but she was a bit sad to hear he was basically retiring as an adventurer, But at least she could always go visit him and his restaurant would be a place people from her guild and the people from the community that popped up around the guild, could go visit so he would have business that was for sure. As she landed she gave Andy a wave as she walked over "Hey Andy I got your message! and I wanted to say your place is going to get busy soon since a community is starting to grow around my guild and your the closes restaurant without a waypoint! and HEY at least I can visit you a ton when I an not busy" her Word bubble popped up as she looked over at what Andy was doing. Her friend landed Kramer having brought them, or they walked over on their own, the smaller ones having ridden with Dee Dee, that being the Three Waddle-dee's, all her friends had come since she wanted everyone meet them and to have Andy meet all of them since it's been a while since they last met "Oh right and I brought all my friends, I hope you don't mind?" the word bubble asked as she gestured to her myriad of Summons. there was even a Stonk in the group but it seemed very well behaved. The star falling from the sky was unmistakable as Andy had seen it during the first mission he'd done with Dee Dee. The last time he'd seen her was during the encounter with the Stonks so it was a welcome sight. With a smile on his face, he waved back at her and her group of summons. “A community? Jeanne mentioned something like that before for E2C, but things have been quiet lately. Not much progress has been made. I'm glad Utopia is doing well. That means more customers for me.” He let out a hearty laugh. [break][break] Upon seeing the dragon land with the rest of Dee Dee's menagerie Andy's smile grew wider. He knew he'd have many mouths to feed, but this was beyond his expectations. Kramer and Tony by themselves would be able to eat quite a bit so he prepared an enormous amount of food. He wasn't sure how many people would show up, but with just the small Guildmasters group they could most likely eat him out of house and home. [break][break] “I don't mind at all Dee Dee. In fact I expected it.” Andy motioned over to the long table he'd set up with several buffet-style metal trays filled with a variety of foods. He knew that Dee Dee had many creatures that were carnivores but wasn't sure what else she had collected by this point. A few of the trays contained vegetarian and vegan options for whatever summons that may apply. Fruit salad, Caesar salad, macaroni and cheese, and curry among other options. [break][break] “Please help yourselves. There is more than enough for everyone. I was hoping to use this as a test run for the restaurant before I retire from missions completely. Dee Dee Looked over to the Food that Andy had prepared and her friends did the same, looking it over she grabbed a few plates and bowls from the set up Andy had and she handed them out to her friends who had hand which to grab things with, and she let them line up, she then looked to those of her friends that didn't have a means to server herself and she started going through the line of foods and grabbing them what they wanted, and setting them down where they wanted to eat. In this way CaveDee, TreeDee, BombDee, Kramer, Geist, Chomps, Ancient swordsman, and the Maze guardian all served themselves, while Dee Dee got food for the Stonk, Fawn, Ton, and Gwen, and settheir food on the table with everyone else, before grabbing her own food. really the only vegetarian she had in the group seemed to be Fawn as the majority of her Friends were Omnivores or Carnivores it would seem. Dee Dee herself had her plate piled high with more meat then veggie but it wasn't overwhelming meat but it clearly showed the girls preference, other then the literal bowl of Tomatoes she grabbed as well. None of her Friends started eating yet till Dee Dee was seated and she nodded. Then they all started eating clearly they were eager to get into the food but they listened well to Dee Dee, not like a pet to an owner but more as good manners as Dee Dee gave a thumbs up to Andy as she nommed on the side of some ribs "Foods good, so far no complaints, Come sit and eat with us Andy!" the Word Bubble popped up as she and her summons enjoyed the meal that Andy provided. "Oh also I have a gift for you as a welcome to the island, I made it myself and I hope it proves handy! I will get it for you once everyone else arrives.. and I would have to put it together as well but it shouldn't be to much of an massive project" she added as she continued to enjoy the good food. Andy was happy to see the mountain of food that Dee Dee prepared for herself and let out a chuckle. He always liked it when somebody didn't bother holding back and showed they had an appetite. However, he enjoyed it even more when she said she enjoyed the food. A smile never left his face as he grabbed his own plate with a sample of each dish before sitting at the table with the rest of them. [break][break] “What a coincidence. I have some things I'd like to give to you as well Dee Dee.” Andy shoved an entire tiger rib into his mouth and when he pulled it out the bone was plucked clean of any meat. After looking around the area he brought up the system menu and requested a trade with the small Guildmaster. “It looks like it'll just be you and me today. Let's finish eating and we can start working on your project.” Once she accepted he would send nearly his entire inventory over to the young woman in preparation for his retirement. “I won't be needing these anymore. Dee Dee was nomming away on the ribs, clearing through the first rack quickly, leaving clean bones in her wake as she set them to the side to clear off later, she then moved on to a nice steak and some roasted tomatoes and continued to nom contently, glad to see Andy join them at the table, though her interest was sparked when Andy mentioned he had things to give her "Oh really? Well then we can do a gift exchange! tis the season after all!" the word bubble popped up for her, it was moments like this meal where she was really glad she had the item, she could keep eating while keeping a conversation going and that was great in her book. When he mentioned that no one else seemed to be coming Dee Dee looked around as well, it seemed he was likely correct, but she did hope others would show up, after all Andy was part of a guild right? You would hope they would come over and see him off, well technically he wasn't going anywhere now that she thought of it, but still a retirement party should have more people. Her attention however was drawn to the trade request and she looked at it and blinked as she looked at the screen, it didn't say what it was she was getting given and she blinked a moment before hitting accept, then she got a large notification about what exactly she was given and it was MASSIVE list of a lot of things, and her eyes went wide, surprise on her normally passive face as she blinked a few times before looking to Andy as he explained why he was giving her all this. It made good sense, he would be not to far from the Utopia settlement now, and the area was getting more safe so he likely wouldn't need anything like these items since he would have everything he needs inside his own restaurant, and these needed to go somewhere after all so at least this way the items could be made use of, "I understand, I will put them to good use or in the case of the ones I can't use I will make something great out of them through the forge!" she gave him a thumbs up as she popped a chicken leg in her mouth and nommed on it. There was a loud THUNK outside the restaurant, as Hana performed a proper super-hero landing. That nobody but a few of Dee Dee's stray companions witnessed, as everyone else was inside, busy eating. She glanced around for a moment before slumping in disappointment, armor vanishing piece by piece as she stood, soon walking inside.

"Hello! Sorry I'm late!" She looked around, a bit worried. "...is there gonna be any food left?" Hana half-mumbled this to herself, noticing how packed the place was with the small army Dee Dee had brought with her. Eventually she noticed the familiar word bubble popping up above the crowd, then spotted Andy across the table from her.

"So you've gotten comfortable enough to, like, invest your points to make more points, huh?" Hana smiled at Andy after she weaved through the crowd to reach him, waving to Dee Dee as well. "I just kinda ran out of stuff to spend them on myself recently..." She hadn't yet really thought about what she'd do with rewards after reaching max level. For now, she looked around for any food that wasn't already claimed by a hungry creature.

Andy's joyous smile was replaced by a solemn one once he read Dee Dee's bubble. “Yes. This the season.” He was hoping that more people would come to see him off and celebrate the holidays, but he hadn't expected many to show regardless. It would have been nice if some members of E2C appeared though. [break][break] With how creative and handy Dee Dee was he did not doubt that she'd find some way to make use of the items he'd given her. She'd built most of Utopia with her own two hands after all. “I wish you the best of luck with your forging and the rest of your endeavors as well. Utopia seems to be doing well. I'm sure it'll only get better under your leadership.” Andy reached over the table to Dee Dee and offered her his hand. “I look forward to working with you even if it's not doing missions. I imagine we'll be seeing each other quite often with how close we are.”[break][break] He perked up when he heard something land outside.
