"Uh, closest one that's not the front door, then?" Hana wasn't the quietest combatant, so it was pretty likely something had heard all her sentry smashing and sonic squealing. Letting Kurai point the way, she still made sure to stay in front of their lower level party member, just in case. "From experience, there's probably way worse inside."

The howl that rang out the moment they opened the door confirmed her suspicions. "See!?" Jumping aside as the creature leapt past them and into the courtyard, she raised her shield again, a pink aura expanding from it as she prepared for the beast's assault. The musician didn't have to wait long to put the barrier to good use, the flame attack seeming to be absorbed by the pink field instead of repelled the way the earlier physical attack had been.

She couldn't do anything about the other beam, though, having hopped away from the two siblings when they were surprised. Hana was confident Hikari would make sure her brother was safe, of course. "Time to get serious!" Rushing towards their opponent, a giant ANTHEM logo suddenly appeared, large enough for the musician to fit through it as she ran. The apparition burst into light and disappeared as she passed through, leaving her properly armored on the other side.

"Two can play that game!" Tossing her guitar into the air, a pair of spectral hands appeared, grabbing the weapon and swinging it after she closed the distance to the metallic monster. With her hands now free, both gauntlets suddenly burst into flame, before the teen gave the guard dog a firey one-two combo of punches!

Hikari was about to follow Hana when the howl caught her attention. Did they have a dog? Perhaps. She remembered their father wanting more security, and perhaps he had acquired guard dogs prior to the Light? She wasn't sure, and so became immediately alert. When the howl sounded again, and a roar echoed through the front door, she was immediately on guard.

The first thing she saw was large three-headed dog. Well, it was a dog, but not quite. Not when all of it looked to be made of machine with neon lights outlining its features. It was well-crafted, and intimidating. A combination which spelled trouble for them.

"Get back, Kurai." She would announce as she used one of her abilities: Absolute Terror. The shield materialized in front of them, and took the brunt of the freezing breathe it has spewed. The shield shimmered, before lashing out to deal one instance of debuff to the dog. The second instance would come as Hikari flicked her wrist, and Daitsuren shot forward and slammed itself into the right leg of the creature.

She turned to her brother and nodded, "I'll create an opening, you jump in to deal as much damage as you can." With that, she pounced forward, zipping through the icy sheet, and delivering a strike to the giant dog's torso, causing one of its head to try to bite her, only for it to miss as Hikari dodged deftly to the side with her faster speed.

"Try this one for size." She closed her fist, and a spectral claw reached forward and slashed through the giant three-headed dog's exterior, causing damage as it howled in pain. She saw Hana had simultaneously done damage. Surprisingly, the giant three-headed dog was still standing, and growing even more menacing with each strike it took.

Even though Kurai showed her the way to the second nearest entrance he stayed behind his sister's friend. There was no sense in him leading the pack when he was significantly weaker than the women he was accompanying. Who knows what else they would run into once they got inside? “Yeah you're probably right. He was pretty protective of his things.” Which is why he so loved to break them. Despite saying that Kurai didn't expect the loud howl that rang through the property. They didn't have a dog... Did they? He wouldn't put it past his father to get a guard dog, but when did that happen? Did that bastard load in already? Whether or not their father was in the new world they still had to deal with the massive creature that burst through the front door to protect the estate. While Hikari and Hana immediately jumped into action Kurai was much too slow to react to the beast's assault. Luckily his sister was there to protect him from the stream of ice headed their way. “Damn... Thanks sis.”“Come on Seere let's get out of the way.” As she suggested Kurai ran away from the Cerberus with the demon following closely behind. It was best not to stay too close to something that could likely kill him without so much as a thought. Once the pair found a good place to hide they hunkered down before aiming at the eyes of the large dog and launching a couple bolts of energy at them. They may not be able to do much damage, but hopefully, they'd be able to make the fight a bit easier for the women. De/buffs: Utopia Bandanna (+20% VIT and WIL. The guard dog chomped onto one of her arms after that punch, even though it was mostly on fire! Thankfully those teeth didn't even make it through the pink aura she was currently radiating, although it did begin to fade away. Wrenching her arm free, she punched that head again for good measure.

The siblings' attacks hit home easily enough, as the beast didn't seem too concerned with dodging at the moment. As the middle head opened its mouth to reveal that speaker, Hana moved quickly. "No you don't!" She shoved her other fist into its muzzle, rewarded with the sound of popping and crackling, instead of another of those roars they'd heard earlier.

Leaping away before the cybernetic canine could chomp her again, the guitar dropped into her hands as the flames were extinguished. Strumming a power chord, a multitude of slash marks began to appear all over the beast as it was assaulted by sonic pulses from every direction. "Finish it off before it grows a fourth head or something!"

Hikari watched as Hana took control of the situation. She had even stopped the large three-headed dog from using one of its abilities again. Quickly, she took advantage of what had happened and launched herself forward.

With her swords in both hands, she made quick work of the right head. using her superior speed, she weaved through the bites that were aimed at her, narrowly dodging and receiving a small scratch as she used the momentum to jump upwards! It gave her the necessary vantage point she needed to do the next part.

With Murakumo in hand, she lashed out in a flurry. She aimed for the mechanical joint which seemed to keep the heads attached to the body. The pseudo-neck of the creature. She hacked at it in quick succession, causing sparks to fly as she landed on top of the head of the large dog.

"Two more." With a flick of her hand, Daitsuren shoved itself into the joint as well. And with a last snap of her finger, Kenmyoren unsheathed itself and slammed into the mechanical joint, completely severing the right head.

She jumped up once more, narrowly dodging the bite sent by the middle head, before twisting herself to land just behind Hana. "One head down." Just as she announced it, however, electrical pulses started to shoot through its body, stunning it into silence. It was still standing, but unmoving, as though paused. [break][break]
"Kurai, an opening." She spoke up, her swords already ready to shove themselves into the beast. However, a shooting pain dominated her senses for a moment when she realized that she had been scratched by one of the dog's numerous fangs. It was slightly bleeding, which marred her dress.

For some reason, the beast didn't seem too concerned with dodging attacks. Kurai could understand that they would basically shrug off the attacks from him and Seere. It was odd that they didn't bother avoiding Hikari's and Hana's attacks as well. It was like its sole focus was eliminating its enemies. That just made it even easier to slay the guard dog as Hana could stop its attack and get in a few blows as well. Kurai couldn't believe the Cerberus was still standing after his sister removed one of its heads. At least it didn't sprout another one like some sort of hydra as Hana feared. Soon enough the beast was stunned by the electricity running through its body and the sparks that flew from the wound. Even though it wasn't moving Kurai didn't want to expose himself unnecessarily. “Alright. Let's hope this is it!” When Hikari called out the pair aimed their attacks at the neck joint of the left head. A mix of black and gray energy shot into the joint causing it to pop off slightly and become ajar, but could not knock it off completely like his sister did. “Damn...” He knew he was weaker than her, but still it was disappointing he couldn't even do that much. Finishing her brief solo, Hana returned her guitar to storage. In its place, a hammer with a giant bone for a head appeared. It seemed too large for the teen to wield effectively, although as she pulled it back the extra ghostly hands all grabbed at the haft as well. Strangely, the weapon kept growing longer and longer to fit them...and then longer still. It took Hana several moments, time for the others to land all their attacks, before she could bring the weapon all the way back around to smash down upon the malfunctioning guard dog.

Hefting it back up with a grunt of effort, the hammer lifted to reveal the remains of the mechanical beast, firmly smashed into the ground. "Uh, sorry about your lawn, guys." Thankfully the siblings couldn't see the sheepish look hidden inside her helmet. The oversized hammer vanished, as she knew it was far too large to be taking inside. That'd be a good way to knock down a few walls, a problem she'd run into on an earlier mission.

Speaking of heading inside, she needed to suggest something before they rushed ahead. Moving back towards the side entrance, Hana hurriedly produced a key from her inventory. "Hey! I know this is going to sound weird, but uh..." Turning the key in the open doorway, a new door appeared, then opened to reveal...a dressing room. "Just go in and get dressed! Whatever you pick out will act like armor! We don't want your brother catching a stray hit and getting hurt real bad, right?"

Hana looked to Hikari for confirmation, the musician's voice sounded slightly processed and electronic as it passed through her helmet. "It, like, freezes time out here too, so you can take your time." She'd give the two some privacy, and a moment to catch up. She just waved them inside, knowing to her they'd just walk in and then back out a moment later, refreshed and redressed.

Inside the magical created room were rows of outfits sized to the two siblings, not to mention makeup, accessories, and similar supplies. There were even snacks and drinks! Suspiciously there were several examples of armor that resembled Hana's, and outfits matching the normal clothes she'd been wearing before she transformed.

When the three-headed dog finally fell, Hikari turned her attention quickly to Kurai. She glanced towards him and his position, before deeming him to be safe and sound, before smiling at Hana. "I assure you, Miss Hana, that we didn't have a dog like that when we lived here prior." His father hated dogs, and said they were dirty. Perhaps she should get herself one when she lived in this house one day?

The pain on her side, however, jolted her back. She glanced towards her dress, before wincing once more. The fang had left a gash wound on her side, though it wasn't too deep. She wasn't bleeding out profusely, but it was starting to stain her dress more and more.

"Oh, the lawn? It needed redecorating anyway." Hikari was glad it was destroyed. The pride and joy of her father need not live on. "About the dressing room..." Hikari wanted to continue on, wasting no time. However, she knew that she probably needed to bandage herself up, and perhaps provide Kurai some armor. The last thing she needed was for her brother to get hurt.

She moved with Hana before the woman seemingly summoned a door out of nowhere. Her guild leader's voice was slightly jarring, though she knew it was only because she had not done many missions with her. "Sounds good." She trusted the woman and walked in.

Inside was a dressing room. A dressing room filled with everything one needed to...survive? She looked at the clothing selection, before realizing that there were armor lined up that looked similar to Hana's own, as well as samples of her dress before her transformation. They were beautiful, though not her style. It was Hana's through and through.

She turned back, hoping Kurai would follow through. "We should get you suited up, Kurai. You can probably choose yourself, let me bandage myself up here real quick." She glided to the mirror before grabbing a lace of cloth and started to wrap it around her wound. "It's been a bit, Kurai. How's everything with you? Especially after you...loaded in?" Hikari tentatively asked, as she finished wrapping her wound, tucking the makeshift bandage to make sure it wouldn't get in the way.

Geez it seemed like Hana was a walking armory with how many items and weapons she kept pulling out. Kurai couldn't imagine anything would stand a chance against her with how ridiculously overpowered she was. She likely could have handled the encounter by herself if she wanted. “I think you mean your lawn. And don't worry about it. You'll be the one paying to fix it after all.”
However the same could be said of Hikari. Maybe... She did take a decent hit after all. Now that all the commotion was finished Kurai ran over to his sister and examined the wound. Not that he could do anything about it. “You need to be more careful. Just because you can control swords now doesn't mean you're invincible.” Although his words were harsh he wasn't sure what he'd do if something happened to her.
While he was busy worrying about Hikari's health Hana summoned a dressing room of all things. Ridiculous. For some reason, his sister seemed to trust the airhead so he and Seere followed her in while giving the musician the stink eye. The inside was just what Kurai expected out of a dressing room. His father had built something similar for the siblings to hold their clothes. Although they weren't magical of course.
Once again following Hikari's advice, he began looking around the dressing room for anything suitable to wear. Most of the options were suited more towards women than men as to be expected of a dressing room suited to Hana. “Things have been good. I met a woman who is pretty into archaeology so they're pretty interested in Seere here. We've done a few missions together.” While looking around he shoved a few of the snacks on offer into his mouth before continuing. “Real sick of this Earth-Chan though.”
After looking around for a bit Kurai managed to find something suiting his tastes. He donned the dark blue suit, but Seere refused the change of clothes. With him dressed he prepared to leave the subspace once his sister did the same. “How have you been Hikari?”

They'd really need a cleaning crew, or at least a bunch of maids, to keep such a huge space tidy. She'd have to remember that.

The dressing room had areas labelled with each of their names, with the clothes in each seemingly perfectly tailored to fit each party member. The outfits on display weren't exactly duplicates of what Hana wore, but looked very similar. The other sets of clothing seem to fit different moods, perhaps for appearances on different sorts of TV programs. If Kurai checked the other two sections, he'd find matching blue dresses and pantsuits.

Meanwhile, Hikari could feel her VIT refilling as she bandaged herself. The various supplies all seemed to have the same general effect, whether it was makeshift dressings or a chugged energy drink. Thankfully Hana had shielded herself, so didn't need to partake at the moment, giving the siblings their private moment.

"In any case, the scars never linger too long." It was one thing she was happy about in this new world. Stats. Skills. Abilities. They were all a godsend when it comes to life. The problem was, life just got a bit harder because of them.

She listened to hr brother tell her of his travels, of the people he had met. She was glad that Kurai was making his own way, not that his brother ever was lost. He knew who he was, and fought tooth and nail for it. Herself? Well, that was different. And she was different now too.

"I'm glad your journey has been well so far. Many are not as lucky." She grimaced a moment, before letting an impassive expression settle. "I've been good, thank you. The world is anew, and I'm paving my way through it. My own path." She smiled at Kurai, a rare smile. What was unsaid was: a path not chosen by father.

Once they were all ready, she waved at Kurai, "Let's go once you're ready, I would rather we finish this sooner rather than later. And then perhaps we can share a meal." She nodded towards the door, before walking towards it. "As far as I know, this Earth-Chan is not one we should mess around with. And, in some ways, I should thank her." Hikari was not happy about it, but she must admit that the opportunities now before her would not be available if not for Earth-Chan.

Despite his questions, he couldn't help but return her smile. He didn't have the heart to do anything to make that disappear. Whatever hurt his sister could be dealt with later. Hana had only been left with her thoughts for a few moments before the other two opened the door and walked right back out. Hikari was bandaged up, and her brother had slipped into an extra layer of protection. The musician nodded, helmet bobbing. "Alright, now we're ready to wrap up this mission!"

She pointed through the entrance she'd briefly filled in with her own private door, down the hallway, towards the interior of the estate. "We beat up robot guards and robot dogs, so I bet we gotta make it to the middle of this place and finish up with some sorta robot boss to take control of it. Does your dad have, like, an office? Or, uh...a trophy room? Or a safe or something?"

Hana walked past them to start leading the way, guitar back in her hands. She was suppressing the urge to begin broadcasting music as they navigated the hallways towards the center of this main building. There would be plenty of time to get loud once they'd discovered whatever had taken command of the area.

Thinking it over for a moment, Hikari looked towards Kurai and smiled. "I could really use a good bowl of ramen when we finish this." She grinned at her brother. "Perhaps we can find a ramen stand. Like the good days when we snuck out." Those were truly the good days, when they escaped their nannies and guards to enjoy life in some fashion. Just teenagers doing teenager things.

Looking towards Hana, she acknowledged her guild leader's question before thinking it over. "Father always kept his office in the west wing." Hikari pointed towards the far side, its traditional design marred by the futuristic self-dimming windows. "He did that to get away from us kid- I mean, to make sure that he kept his privacy." That was a bad slip-up.

"Ah, in any case, I'm ready to get this done." She looked towards Kurai and smiled. "You're more than welcome to join us for ramen as well, Hana. If you're free, of course." Hikari was being polite, and of course, getting to know her guild leader more might be a good idea regardless.

When they got to the centre of the home. Hikari pointed right. "This way." She let Hana lead, her swords already ready as she took up the rear. They were vulnerable on two fronts, and she trusted Hana to keep the front end while she could take up the rear where they might get ambushed by god knows what.
