Hana was squinting inside her helmet to read the words floating near Dee Dee's head, angling a bit closer to get a better look. She got the gist of it, at least! "Huh? Oh, that's pretty cool!" She turned her head towards Arcana again, nodding at the explanation of her abilities. "Eventually you'll have so many that it's kinda hard to keep track!"

When her passenger cried out like that, Hana squeezed her a bit closer. Hopefully not too close! At least that armor was in the way. They didn't have to travel much further, though, slowing down before getting her boots under her and skidding to a stop, twin grooves burrowed in the snow as more was sent flying around them.

As soon as she set Arcana back down, the girl was pointing something out. "This looks cozy Dee Dee, good work! But we might not be able to get right to work on the ice." Hana turned to look off in the distance. She didn't have any telescope items or anything, unfortunately. "I'll keep an eye out, while you two get things ready. Dee Dee finished setting things up and as she looked up at the two she waved again, that was until Arcana mentioned they had company and then Hana mentioned they would keep watch... and then the figures in the distance ended up being a massive Serpent's tail and part of it's body as it burst out of the Snow and Dee Dee blinked for a second then looked to the other two, Dee Dee knew she couldn't summon Kramer properly, but he was safely in the friend shaped charm, Jimmy would likely have to stay on her in her coat to keep him warm.. BombDee though was tough and she had the armor on him so that should help him out in this cold. Nodding to herself Dee Dee pointed her finger to the sky and a little star popped out before splitting into two, the two starts sparkled for a second before one landed on the ground and poofed into BombDee decked out in the Combat Familiars Armor and wearing the Ruby Collar as a arm band. The Little Waddle-dee seemed ready for the fight as it moved forward but made sure to keep near Arcana aware that she was the weaker in the group. The other Star poofed on Dee Dee's head to reveal the Read ant Larva Jimmy who quickly wriggled his way under her large coat to keep warm, she nodded as she then took out her wand of Joy and her crustacean shield, she was going to make sure to harass the creature from the air as she took off. "Hana I will keep it busy in the air! maybe I can annoy it into ignoring you guys?" the message popped up, since she wanted to make sure they both seen it as she flew into the air and swooped by the Beast, blasting it with a magic bolt, though it didn't seem to have much effect, "It's tough so look out" was the message that she sent to the two of them using the system as she flew out of it's reach. "L-Level 25?! Are they fucking me?!" She screamed. "I barely survived in the tutorial, but this is overkill for me!"[break][break]
If she had to guess, the reason behind the snake's high level might be the two girls. She concluded that they were much more experienced than her, yet she was aware that becoming Level 25 or so in a short amount of time would be impossible. So she wondered why it was possible. Either way, Arcana refused to stay on the sidelines for long as she glared at the giant snake as soon as she was set down by the armored girl.[break][break]
"At my current level, I can barely damage that thing," Arcana informed the girls. "I hope you know what you're doing, Waddle girl! I'll see if I can support both of you with my cards."[break][break]
At the moment, the only working Arcana that would help her was the Suit of Wands, the Suit of Pentacles, and The Fool. She had a limited skill set on her, but she had to make do with what she had. And if all else fails, she has one ability in hand in case of emergencies. All that was left was to stay behind the surprisingly real BombDee and prepare for any kind of support. Hana did look a bit taken aback by the appearance of the creature, along with some of its basic stats that the system 'helpfully' shared with them. "I hadn't gotten to that part of my, uh, tutorial speech, but I was gonna mention...Earth-chan loves to spring monsters on you if you're outside of a Safe Zone and even kinda enjoying yourself." She gave Arcana a shrug, before beginning to zip towards the monster slightly above the snow, while Dee Dee flew higher into the air.

"We gotta keep it pointed away from Arcana!" She called out, as Dee Dee began doing her part to distract the creature. "I don't care how tough it is...I'll handle the damage!" The serpent twisted to face her airborne companion, opening its mouth to expel a cloud of freezing air, whipping up a localized blizzard around Dee Dee. While it wasn't exactly pleasant, at least the freezing breath didn't do any actual damage...it just seemed to be slowing her down, causing her to drop from the sky. The tail swinging towards her was what would deal damage!

Eyes snapping to Arcana and her waddling protector, it began to slowly turn its head towards them, trying to adjust the aim of that breath attack before it ended. A sudden burst of song overpowered the roar of the freezing wind, before something slammed into its muzzle, shutting it off entirely.

Another punch rocked the beast, snapping its head the other direction, before Hana emerged from the last traces of the miniature blizzard. Singing as she fought, amplified voice booming. It took a long moment for the weapon to arc all the way back around, before smashing into the serpent's face. The massive head was sent flying, long body uncoiling to stream after it. Dee Dee felt herself slowing down as the blizzard hit her, there wasn't any damage but it was causing her to slowly drop from the sky, one because she lost speed and the second reason was to get out of the cloud, her loss in speed was an issue but she had just the item to help with that, she equipped her fuzzy pants and activated it's affect then as she noticed her Item cool down and nodded to herself and she pulled out her star and hopped on it, since she was on it alone it flew faster then before keeping her speed to what it was, but a little faster thanks to the boost she gave herself, and finally she activated the enhanced flight ability of Kramer increasing her speed even further. It was then she felt the buffs from Hana and she nodded to herself and put her shield away and her wand and took out her massive Mallet and her Sickle, she was going to make the most of this speed and power, as she put on her arachne glasses and she activated the ability on it and she seen a weak spot on the Serpent, and so she used her enhanced speed to rush towards the Serpent suddenly glowing red as she activated the ability of the hammer and then the Sickle causing the weapon to glow a Ghastly Purple color. The serpent was angry, it didn't like being hit like this as the attacks hurt from the one on the ground, the easier target was behind something that was small but it wasn't scared of it, and something was flying around that was bothering it and hurting it as well, with all that it activated its aura to protect itself as it realized the issues here, though as it did so it lashed out at the Small creature guarding the easier prey. Dee Dee then came in suddenly aiming at the Serpent slashing at it with her Sickle Striking it at high speed and with the help of the arachne glasses and the buffs from Hana her strike was devastating as she got through the shield and the armor of the serpent and cutting into it, the energy from the Sickle seeping into the creature and forcing it's cooldowns to take longer as well as dealing damage... all before she suddenly raised the hammer and smashed it down on the serpent, before using the recovery swing of it to smash it again knocking it up somewhat, she was taking damage from the aura though so rather then stick around she backed off to get out of the extreme cold around it. BombDee meanwhile seen the attack coming and laid a mine on it's path and then quickly dashed away... well quickly for him, the attack would hit the mine and knock the swiping tail upwards over the Waddle-dee though the aura would catch him, thankfully the armor provided him with good protection, and the ruby Collar he wore as a bracelet was helping him heal what damage was done, and best of all the Mine stopped the attack from getting near Arcana. Though the little Waddle-dee did check to make sure she was okay as it turned back to look at the serpent. He wanted to run in and help but he was given a task, but seeing Dee Dee getting injured made it hard to choose, but she gave him direction and he didn't want to let her down, so the Waddle-dee stayed on the defensive to protect Arcana, though he made sure he wasn't to close incase the Serpent managed to harm him enough to take him down as he was quite aware of his own ability. As she flew away it was rather obvious that rapidly activating so many abilities followed by an attack rush had left Dee Dee somewhat out of breath, as she got out of reach of the creature to recuperate, though the serpent seemed shaken from the sudden assault on it that left it reeling both from the sound earlier that shook it, and then the physical beating it had just received as well as the explosion hitting it's tail causing it to fall over and flail on the ground wildly. Either way, she was getting more frustrated. While Arcana got the buffs from the armored girl, she wasn't satisfied standing around like a bystander while remaining a Level 1 player. She needed to act now while she could have a chance.[break][break]
"Argh! I was saving these points for my mass level-up, but fuck it! I guess I'm doing this now!" Arcana pulled out her UI window and used most of her points to level herself up to 3. "I'm putting 8 points on my MAGI and 2 on POW!" As soon as she said this, the UI confirmed her requests and she could feel her strength growing stronger. In her defense, it wasn't enough to stay on par with the other girls, but it was close enough for her.[break][break]
Aero took out her deck and drew a card from it. "Nice! Heads up, Waddle girl!" She tossed what seemed to be an Ace of Coins card in Dee Dee's direction. "I predict the serpent will have a hard time breaking through your skin. That is the reading of the Ace of Coins!"[break][break]

"H-hey, language!" Hana was blushing inside of her helmet, but thankfully nobody could see. Her gaze just turned towards Arcana for a moment, before refocusing on their opponent. Dee Dee had done good damage to it, and they had it on the ropes. But that aura had pushed her back, and even Hana was beginning to see frost form on her armor. "Ha, nice try! Not today!"

She freed up one hand to smack a large menu button that popped up in front of her, as the serpent's aura suddenly flickered, appearing crackled and gargled before simply disappearing. The flailing creature, writhing in pain, realized its defenses had just dropped. Spires of ice suddenly burst forth from the snow around it, encircling it as another layer of protection...but it obviously wasn't used to encountering flying assailants.

Arcana's line of sight was broken up, however. All she needed to do was reposition, but she'd need to move fast! On the bright side, the beast's wildly swinging tail was caught in mid-air for a crucial moment, crashing through that card-shaped shield to narrowly miss Dee Dee's flying star, thanks to the extra delay.

"Pound it into the ground and let Arcana take her shot to finish it off!" She motioned towards Dee Dee, lifting the comically oversized hammer up into the air again. "It's time for...Max Volume!" Glowing red lines began to light up all over her armor, visor shifting colors to match, as the music she was pumping out suddenly became as loud as the injured creature's roars of pain.

This time backing vocals were joining her, as Hana sang. Clearly not her own voice, but that of an older woman. With the two voices crying out together, the massive hammer smashed into the serpent right behind its head. Sending it crashing into the ground, snow erupting into the air. Pinning it there, face pointed directly at Arcana, as the musician used all of her boosted power to hold it in place, armor outlined in furious neon red.

As Dee Dee got the Shield she nodded as she heard to clear off BombDee, Looking to the serpent she was considering Doing another dive on it even if it would harm her, but as she was considering it the aura seemed to vanish as Hana apparently dealt with it, That was good but looking at herself and Jimmy both of them were worse for wear from the Aura, so Dee Dee Took out her Tomato Tomato, and split it into 5 extra tomatoes giving her 6 total, and she took a bit out of one, letting Jimmy take a bite out of the same one as her, both of them healing rapidly thanks to the veggie. BombDee meanwhile looked to Arcana and gave a little Salute before is hopped up and it's little legs moved in a blur as it quickly scooted out of the way of her, though it stayed in a good position to help her if needed keeping a watchful eye as it was ordered to. Back in the Sky Dee Dee grasped her Sickle and Hammer once more as her Star moved to the side nearly getting hit by the creatures tail however the Shield from Arcana had slowed it enough to let her evade Though the think Clearly wanted some sort of Defense and it called up Ice Pillars around itself, it was then she heard Hana Call out the plan, Arcana had a move to pull after all and the two of them would be plenty to hold it down to make it happen, So she followed Hana in, and as Hana went for the head, Dee Dee flew along it's body and opened her mouth as she activated her arachne glasses again and releasing a gout of short range but high powered flame setting the middle segment of the serpent aflame as she flew along it before diving onto it where she was safe from the flames and Hana was safe from them at the head. As she landed on the Serpent she lifted her Sickle and it glowed once more a Ghastly Purple as she slashed it down into the hide of the beast digging in and the energy flowed once more into the serpent forcing it's cool downs to take even longer, before she brought the hammer down twice more before using it to pin the back of the snake down, though she was very small she was also pressing down by basically flying her start down onto the beast. The beast now was flailing wildly trying to get the two off, but it's own attempt at a defense, the ice pillars, were getting in it's way of trying to get the two off it, and it was also now trying to put itself out now that the midsection of it was on fire, it was powerful, but the two holding it down together were stronger then it, and it was currently dealing with a lot of things at once, but it couldn't even throw off the smaller of the two assailants, all it could do was hiss with rage as now all it's abilities were on an extended cool down. A voice came from BombDee, a voice that sounded perfect for the little guy, it was Dee Dee masking her own voice something she trained a lot to get right. And since no one knew she even had this skill it was unlikely anyone could figure out it was her as the Waddle-dee looked over to Arcana "LET HIM HAVE IT!!!!" as it seemed to be cheering her on. the little Waddle-dee well versed in acting as if that voice belonged to it. {Dee Dee's stats}First attack with Baby Breath (includes all buffs)

Hana watched the summon stab away at the creature she had pinned, feeling the beast's thrashing weaken before slowing to a stop. As the orb of light flew from the serpent, the life fully faded from their enemy. The musician's song came to an end, and the massive hammer retracted back to its normal size.

"Good work! Now we can get back to the mission." She flew towards Arcana and Dee Dee's companion, near the serpent's head. "We still need to-" Hana was cut off by the sound of ice shattering repeatedly, in rapid succession. The beast they'd defeated was partially disintegrating in front of them, flesh and scales vanishing from head to tail. Soon all that was left behind was a skeleton made completely out of ice.

"Let's load what we can onto Dee Dee's star, and, uh...I guess put the rest in our inventories, if we can?" As the creature stopped it's thrashing and she got off the creature putting her star away to let it recharge and giving a thumbs up as the Word Bubble started to float next to her head and as she walked over to the two the words appearing in the Word bubble "Well that was unexpected, but at least we where able to deal with it... my Star will need tome to recharge but i have things to make that time at least a bit more comfy while we wait, after we get the Ice I mean" she then looked over her shoulder the sound making her think the serpent was about to get back up. But looking it seemed the creature just slowly vanished, leaving behind a skeleton of pure ice, which was interesting, it was pure, clean, and nothing horrible was on it, and she looked to Hana as she made her suggestion and Dee Dee nodded and took out a couple of Pickaxes as she handed one to BombDee who gave a little Salute as they walked over to the Bones and started to work on the larger bones to make them a more manageable size, as she worked the word bubble filled in again as it floated to an angle that the other two could see easily. "So I left a nice heater over there, and a wind screen if you guys need to warm up, me and BombDee can break down the bones to a more manageable size, Oh also That was good work Arcana thanks for the shield! and Hana thanks for the buff they were helpful!" she said as she continued to work slowly picking away at the large Ice bones. Her monster didn't hesitate to follow Arcana's order obediently as it helped the others break down the skeleton into chunks of ice. It then put most of them into her inventory and once it put the last of the chucks, it disappeared in a bright flash of light. Arcana smiled after seeing her inventory as she waved goodbye to her temporary ally.[break][break]
"Thanks to you, two, I guess," Arcana said to the girls. "I only did what I had in hand. I have to admit that I'm still low-level. I only finished it off because you managed to give that legless lizard a beating. I guess that's a wake-up call that I have to take level grinding seriously. It wasn't just strength for Arcana. To her, being a weakling was the same as being trapped by the achievements made by her sister. There was no way she wanted to go back to that life and she would make sure she would fulfill her goals no matter what.
