As he planned Jonas fell through the staircase and began to plummet to the ground floor. He opened his mouth to activate one of his abilities, but before he could he was suddenly grabbed by the armor that Arcana summoned. “What are you doing?!” He beat on the armor with his fists as he fell. He had planned to use his shield to stop him from falling and get into a high position away from the lich. He imagined Arcana would do the same thing with one of her abilities. However, that was ruined now that he was falling straight down in the arms of some creature.

When they landed the armor disappeared causing him to fall onto the pile of bones on the ground. “God damn it!” Jonas got himself up and brushed himself off briefly. “Yeah you didn't think is right! I had a plan to get us away from that thing, but here we are face to face with the damned thing still! What was your big plan here Little Miss Let's Feed The Lich Our Souls?! You admitted it yourself you don't even know what your kit does!” How dare she when her so-called plan before just consisted of summoning a piece of armor and yelling at the lich!

Soon enough his rant was replaced by that of the lich's. “You're still alive?! Just shut up and die already!” He didn't know what Arcana expected of him since he just used his strongest attack and it was now on cooldown. Regardless, the hate that filled his voice turned into a rotating ball of varying blue, red, and purple hues. The attack shot at the very obvious weak point in the lich's chest in an attempt to finally finish it off.

Her pale skin clashes against the wave of black hair flowing down her shoulders. Every movement brings with it the sound of clacking bone as she seeks to regain the youth that was taken from her. Her voice is dry and she's prone to coughing fits every now and again. A bright lavender color is visible from her chest when her magic is used. [break][break] [Basic] Attacks - 1 rank [PWR][break][break] Drain Life - Through her twisted magic, the Lich drains the life from her target, stealing their [VIT] based on her [MAGI] stat. Her wrath causes this to effect to double if her [MAGI] is higher than both target's [WIL].[break][break] Summon Skeletal Behemoths - The bones behind the lich begin to stir. This process takes a single post on concentration, but after which, will summon a hulking Skeleton comprised of lesser ones. These are Level 5 with all D rank stats. The Lich's voice had went from a normal, everyday person into one that was booming, and had a soft echo as the magic seeped from her dried up veins. "You're just children pretending to know what game it is you've come back to play." She said, the card exploding again as it pushed the Lich back as it took the full brunt of the attack. The bones behind her would finally shift around as a towering skeleton made of a plentiful viscera of bones would charge forward, blocking Jonas' attack from its intended target. The Lich smiled coyly, continuing to drain the life from the two. Arin screamed at Jonas. "If you want to keep running away like a chicken, then be my guest! But big risks mean big rewards and don't blame me for not sharing the loot!" Afterward, she turned to the lich despite she felt her life inside her was shrinking by every minute. "If that's what you keep thinking what we're doing, then you're sadly mistaken. We're not only playing this for survival and amusement. We simply want to gain something big and honestly, you're very, VERY hypocritical right now."[break][break]
Unfortunately, once she finished her speech, Arin noticed the skeleton swung its arm to her. Thinking quickly, she pulled out her Three of Coins and barely summoned a barrier out of it before the skeleton arm could make contact. In retaliation, she punched the skeleton in the jaw and she quickly shook her hand in pain. "You bitch...!" She growled, yet she knew she couldn't do more than a punch and a card. The break in fighting had come from the Lich, currently wheezing as she had expended much of her energy from the extended fight. Bit by bit, her body would crumble to dust before her eyes, kneeling before the two. [break][break] "E-Earth-chan promised me I would have a second chance to live again...That you two were just some weaklings without classes like the rest. Why would it lie?..." She coughed, through a dust filled mouth, her humanoid form deteriorating. [break][break] Her skin had all but gone by this point, not all dust worn bones that creaked and clicked. She struggled to stand upright, her heart destroyed and now her last bits of energy being expended. "Whatever you do, don't trust it. Don't end up like..." Her jaw fell off, with her head ending up the same way. As these made contact with the ground, they'd vanish in the same ethereal smoke like everything else. Unfortunately, the lich hadn't taken his suggestion and kept fighting back. Jonas' life force was being continuously drained from him despite his best efforts. Then his attack didn't hit it's intended target and the annoying woman kept yammering on. Not to mention the lich wouldn't shut up either. “You're the one that dragged me away from that bitch in the first place! We could have trapped her in that room, but noooooooooo! You wanted to go to the roof!” He screamed back at her.

Somehow he still had the energy to create another ball of vibrations from his shouting. Luckily the large undead was focused on Arcana so Jonas had a clear shot at it's creator. Not that he needed to actually launch it. The skeleton began to break apart and it seemed like the lich had expended the last of it's energy. She quickly began to deteriorate just like their creation and whined about being tricked by Earth-Chan. Whatever that was her fault for volunteering to be a villain and believing that she could be revived fully. Although maybe it wasn't out of the question for something that could give people magical powers like this.

“Looks like I don't need to do something about the life drain after all.” Not that he would have known what to do anyway. Jonas got the notification that they'd completed a part of their tutorial. Now they just needed to escape. Which should be easy with their main antagonist dead. They likely wouldn't even run into any more undead outside. Well with the mansion gone, they were already outside. Weird. It was like some ending to a horror movie. “Alright. Let's get out of here and never see each other again.”
