Having successfully appraised the eagle eyes helmet that was within his possession, Olliver would begin to review exactly what the new effects had been. From what he could tell, with the helmet equipped, he could now see out to a pinpoint range of one hundred and five meters. Or in other words, for those within his home country, about three hundred and forty four feet. Almost the length of an entire football field. While this much was certainly impressive, he couldn't help but feel more excited about the fact that this length would only continue to grow as his willpower stat had been increased. The fact that he could effectively see through solid substances now was also a plus. If one were to consider the fact that he currently held a scouting ability then, with this weapon, it could be said that he now had two ways to track those hiding from him.

Given how beautifully things had turned out for this item, Olliver couldn't wait to give the other items within his possession an attempt. That being the case, he would immediately throw himself into next item on the list: the space helmet that he could only sell to others. 'Appraising Item.. No additional ability confirmed. Attempt Successful. Additional Ability Discovered.' As he had awaited the hidden features information, he would proceed onto the next item as well. This time around though, it would be for his anti-gravity boots. To his great despair, this would result in a failure as well. This would even go on to occur for dimensional slicer that he had held. As unfortunate as it was, it shouldn't be all that surprising. "At least.. I managed to get these to become greater than they were. I'll have to test the failed items again in the future."

By this point, Olliver had managed to come rather far in this world. Not only had he managed to obtain a rather decent level thus far but he had even gone on to acquire a subclass. One that had made his mercantile business operate all the smoother. It was for this reason that Olliver would go out of his way to contact Valentine. A customer that he had promised to reserve an extremely particular item for. The soon to be owner of the wand of shared misery.

It wouldn't be too long before Valentine had found himself within the confines of the shop. A bell would go off upon his entering the abode, thus alerting Olliver to the fact that a customer was nearby. Having that knowledge in mind, Olliver would swivel about in his chair and turn to face his companion. "Well hello to you too." After tapping away at a few buttons, the back half of the display case containing the wand would open. Olliver would rise from his seat and acquire said item before sitting back down. "I suppose that you can say that I've been alright. Thinking of taking on that Ender Island place that surfaced. Maybe take a trip to Paris. Hitting up places that I've never been has always been on my list after all." A soft laugh would escape from the mans lips as he would play with his menu a bit. "I take it that you are here for this though, so don't let me hold you back from acquiring such a gift." A trade request would be sent over to Valentine within an instant. "As detailed within the message that was sent to you, that is the price. Feel free to accept it whenever you'd like."

Making use of the terrain that had surrounded them had been a rather dangerous idea, albeit a good one depending one ones capabilities. As far as he was aware, the two were here to undertake a mission together though. Or something of the sorts anyways, given that this Emir fellow had hired him to assist in herb gathering. Either way, if this was something that Emir had felt comfortable doing than so be it. "Yeah, I'm the one crazy enough to accept stepping into this area." A soft chortle would escape from the mans lips as he would say as much. Having stepped into such a dangerous area.. It was truly foolish of him. Something that he would come to realize sooner rather than later. "Identifying is certainly something that I can assist with."

As the two had spoke with one another, it would seem as though something had uncovered their location. Given the roar that would bellow forth from the beasts mouth, Olliver could tell that it was out for blood. "Well shit.." The sole thing that Olliver had been hoping to avoid was now here. A monster in such a dangerous place. Could he really overcome anything whilst here?? "I didn't want to have to do this yet.." Knowing that there was no hope of surviving unless he had given this everything that was within him, Olliver would immediately invest his stats. Upon doing so, a subclass would be granted to him!! Just as the beast had swatted at his employer, a notification window would appear before him. "Wow, some more level-ups and a subclass, I thought it would be items again. How surprising!" It would follow up with two subclasses that would be offered up to him. One more than the first time he had to choose a class. The options were that of a Godly Evaluator and an Omni Assessor. Both options had sounded amazing but he simply wasn't sure which to choose. Not that he would be left with the choice.

With Emir having been on the ground, this mountain of a bear would begin to swipe down at Emir. In that moment, Olliver had reached out his arm to his employer, unintentionally choosing a subclass.. Upon having clicked upon the Omni Assessor option, a deep understanding of how his abilities would work would flood through the portly mans head. "W-wha?" In the next moment, Emir would appear beside Olliver. He wasn't sure how it had happened but the fact that it had was fact. Emir would proceed to offer a party request to Olliver and Olliver would naturally accept. "It would be better for us to work together to take this thing down.." Thousands of 1s and 0s would begin to flood Olliver's pupils as he would target the bear with a piercing glare. 'Discerning Eye Activated. Target Selected. Dismantle Occurring.' A visible glowing coin would then shoot forth from Olliver's right eye and would soar through the air at speed equal to a professional pitch.
Olliver leveled up from level 21 to level 33. Proceeds to use Discerning Eye to attack the Titan Stone Bear.

She was just a little kid when the light had gone off, huh? It didn't even feel as though all that much time had passed since the world had changed. Perhaps he just hadn't noticed. Or perhaps things had changed greatly during that time. Honestly, it was something that he was curious about but not all that focused on in that moment. If anything.. Figuring that he should turn his attention back towards the question that she had asked him, Olliver would simply nod a bit. "The manner in which I improve items certainly makes use of the forge. To a degree anyways. I simply need to be within the area to push my ability to its limits. As for how the forge itself works?? Well I don't know all that well myself. From what I've heard, it's almost as though the forge itself chooses who enters. From there, you can upgrade or fuse together a couple of items. Any further attempts require the use of cashing in points. As opposed to the others though.. I don't find myself in the forge through the proper channels. You can think of it as a backdoor of sorts."

Ever since he had managed to unlock this newfound subclass of his, Olliver had been pondering the best way to make use of the abilities that he had been granted via unlocking it. The ability that he had pondered over the longest had been his discerning eye ability. An aspect of said ability, to be more precise. For a duration of time, he was capable of calling forth the forge. Now this was something that he had never participated in, prior to this moment, but it was something that he had heard about from other players. A demi-plane of sorts that appears from time to time, offering those that enter the chance to upgrade or fuse their items together in exchange for points. While that is all well and good, the way that his ability had operated in the place was a bit.. different. Unlike others that could enter the forge on occasion, Olliver could simply tear open a hole in space that would allow for him to enter it of his own volition. And instead of being able to upgrade or fuse items within the place, Olliver could apparently further appraise items whilst within. It was.. something that he never would have seen coming.

Knowing what he was more or less capable of, Olliver had decided that now was perhaps a decent enough time to try and call forth this gate. With Ender Island having opened to players and even Paris, it was almost as though the world was prompting him to get stronger. Or at least for him to ensure that the items he sells to players get better. After all, the stronger an item is, the better it will assist those that wish to make a living in this world. "Hm.. I suppose that now is a good a time as any to try and get this taken care of." That thought in mind, Olliver would make his way to the back of his shop. While within, he would take the time to go over all of the items that he was hoping to try and further ascertain. After having completed that step, Olliver would activate his key ability. Discerning Eye.

Upon activating this ability, the 1s and 0s within Olliver's pupils would quicken their pace. Thousands upon thousands of 1s and 0s would blow past his gaze in an instant and the space before him would begin to crack. With the sound of shattering glass, the space before him would tear away and rip open a gate to a seemingly long hall littered with weapons. "I.. suppose that this is it then??" Given that he had forced his way into the forge, rather than having been chosen by the authority that controlled the forge, there was no additional text or a door. It was simply this tear in space that was left for him to enter. Seeing no choice but to follow through with it, he simply decided to do exactly that.

As Olliver had stepped within the torn space, he would take note of the fact that this tear had remained. It was almost as though it was going to remain until he had chosen to exit the place. Or so he had hoped. If such a thing were to close behind him than who knows how long he would be left here?? Not wanting to think of such thoughts, Olliver would simply remain in place. Close to the gate so that he could jump back through upon his time limit running out. Besides, as far as he was concerned, he only needed to dwell within the forge to further analyze these items. "Guess it's time to give it a go."

The first item that he would attempt to further analyze would be his wonderful serpentine companion. The 1s and 0s in his eyes would begin to read over the information that would naturally appear as he had focused in on something. 'Appraising Item.. No additional ability confirmed. Attempting to ascertain additional ability.. Attempt failed.' All that Olliver could do in this moment was blink at the fact that his first attempt had resulted in a failure. It was admittedly rather disappointing. "I.. Right. Let's give it a go with other items then."

Hoping that his ability would offer a positive result this go around, Olliver would remove three items from his inventory. This items would be his currently toy sized star ship, his shoulder bag of fresh produce, and his eagle eyes bronze helmet. 'Appraising Item.. No additional ability confirmed. Attempting to ascertain additional ability.. Attempt failed.' That's a no go for the star ship. 'Appraising Item.. No additional ability confirmed. Attempting to ascertain additional ability.. Attempt failed.' And a no go for the bag of fresh produce.. Honestly, things weren't looking all that great for him at the moment. 'Appraising Item.. No additional ability confirmed. Attempting to ascertain additional ability.. Attempt Successful. Additional Ability Discovered.' Almost having given up on this ability, Olliver's eyes would practically bulge out of his head upon hearing that one of his attempts had worked out. "S-Success..??" The corners of his lips would begin to creep up all the way towards his eyes as he had finally gotten the result that he had wanted. "Success!!"

It was indeed as Hana had asked. This was more or less the same thing that Earth-Chan was capable of, in terms of selling items to the player base. All in all though, there was one major difference between purchasing something from Earth-Chan and purchasing something from Olliver. Something that he would half-whisper to her in response. "The biggest difference between her and I, in this regard, is that you at least know what you are getting when you purchase it from me. And that the limitations aren't all that high when compared to her gear. Especially considering the fact that I can enhance gear from time to time." The man would then lightly nudge Hana's shoulder as they continued to walk. "And of course I know about the needed space. I am a merchant after all."

With Hana having taken care of gathering the actual mission, Olliver would proceed to head back towards the truck. "Glad to see that you're adapting so well. There are quite a slew of players out there that seem to be having a rather difficult time adjusting to this new world. Perhaps it's due to your age." Another thought for Olliver to ponder as time would go on. "Either way, you've made a decent point. The client didn't specify how many of the things we would need to bring back. It's quite possible that the client is enacting a business similar to mine and has been making use of the storage areas around here. This isn't really the best place for this kind of business though. It seemed to be something that occurred more often than not, whenever the two were together. "Rather than have you ride around in this back, this time around, just be sure to stick by our side. The horned serpent would proceed to nod in affirmation and would than gesture itself in a manner that would allow for it to easily follow after the truck. In this time, Olliver would turn his gaze back towards Hana. "I suppose that we'll just need to gather as many as we can from the mission location. For now.. Well you can simply focus on the road ahead. If anything comes up, I'll have Dendar put a stop to it." It was exceedingly unlikely that anything would actually get in their way, given that this was a [Safe Zone], but one never knew with the way things worked now.

A curt nod would be offered to the man as they would refer once more to the sketches. In time, it was entirely likely that they would come to be rather useful. For the time being though, they were something that the duo could place on the backburner. Of course, once the conversation had drifted towards the auction that Olliver had attempted, the portly man would laugh a bit and rub softly at the back of his own head. "Yeah.. I felt as though that auction was going to help a lot of the lower leveled players. It's too bad that no one really took an interest in it. Could have saved quite a few lives, I'm sure.."

Almost as though there was a tinge of regret within his voice, Olliver would do his best to try and cover it up. "These kinds of things happen though, I suppose. Now I'm simply offering my goods in a different manner. Doing whatever I can to ensure that players all over this newfound world of ours survive." Taking a moment to gesture towards the doors that were on the other side of them, Olliver would smirk a bit. "Perhaps we'll find something in there that will keep all of us in a good place for awhile."

As Nikolas would offer a hand to him, Olliver would use his spare hand to reach out and grasp a hold of Nikolas's. He would proceed to offer the man a firm handshake, albeit that of a regular ol' humans. Once the conversation had moved onto Ender Island though, Olliver would quirk an eyebrow at the man. Olliver himself hadn't actually gone out to such a place as of yet. It was something that he had placed on the backburner as he had waited for Nubia to get ready. Given how long she was taking though, perhaps it would be better for him to attempt to traverse the island on his own. At least until he could reach a decent point in which he could pair up with this Nikolas fellow.

"Ender Island, huh?? You'll have to tell me about it sometime. I intend on checking it out soon, hopefully. If we survive whatever is going on in here then perhaps we can team up on the island afterwards. If you'd like, that is." Another nod would naturally be offered up to Nikolas as the two would continue to speak. "Archaic is likely the world that you are thinking of. Either that or.. perhaps something primordial. Ancient. Honestly, I'm sure that we'll figure it out once we proceed further inside."

As the two would begin to proceed past the doors, a notification would appear before Olliver's eyes, offering him the chance to party up with the man beside him. Seeing no real reason to fight against this, Olliver would accept the party invite. "Guess that brings us together." A short laugh would escape the mans lips before he would be offered another notification window. "Any core stat, huh..?? This is a pretty damn useful skill you've got here." The speed stat would be selected for both Olliver and his horned serpent, thus pushing Olliver's speed to B-Ranking and Dendar's speed to C-Ranking. "We'll definitely have to consider working together more often in the future."

Six bottles of whiskey... Now that was something that he hadn't even considered purchasing. While it might have served him well in his past life, the situation now was a bit different. He was going to need to remain level headed and as such, it was best not to imbibe in any such drinks. "While I appreciate the sentiment, I can't quite say that whiskey would serve much of a purpose for me. No, what I trade in is a bit more fantastical in nature. That of magic items and the like." The man would pull his eyes away from the teen beside him and simply gaze out the side window as they would continue down the road.

It wouldn't take all that long for the duo to eventually arrive at the designated location. "I'm guessing that this is it?" While he had prompted the question over all, the question would more or less answer itself. Perhaps about fifteen feet away from them had been a rather dignified looking individual. While this much itself might not give away the fact that this had been their mission handler, the semi-large exclamation point that had hovered over the individual would definitely indicate as much. "Alright Hana. Let's get going." Olliver would then begin to exit the truck whilst turning back for a moment to offer the teen a smile that was more reassuring than those that he had previously offered.

After witnessing his owner exiting the truck, Dendar would begin to slither back down from the bed of the truck. In doing so, the truck itself would shift in it's weight entirely. Thankfully this much would come to an end rather soon as the serpent's slithery torso had touched the ground. With his companion now at his side, the two would begin to make way towards the mission handler. Of course they would be sure to wait for Hana to be prepared as well. Once the trio had begun to walk together, if Hana had opted to leave the truck, Olliver would fully approach this newfound individual. "Would you like to handle this one, Hana, or shall I?"

As the girl would give away the source of her license, Olliver would momentarily squint his eyes at her. It was the same manner in which he had more or less managed to obtain his. He wasn't all that sure how many people had managed to gather it from such an event but.. Time would eventually tell. Of course this squinting would rather rapidly dissipate as the conversation would continue.

At the offer of the two of them partying up, the masked man would allow for his smile to grow. "Well that sounds like a plan to me." Rolling off of his horned serpent and onto the ground, Olliver would land with a measure of grace. He would than gesture towards the bed of the truck whilst making his way around the car. Just as he would climb in on the other side of the car, Dendar would begin to curl up within the trunk. "I appreciate your willingness to undertake this mission together, ma'am. And, of course, I am shall be in your care." The man would then send a party request to the young woman beside him.

"Given that we are going to be together, I suppose that I should properly introduce myself." His gaze solely on the young woman beside him, Olliver would continue on. "My name is Olliver but you might know me better by another name. One that the masses have likely heard about via the community boards and the like. The Bronze Hawk. Merchant extraordinaire~" If she had indeed ever heard of him, it would have been through his attempts at reaching out to the masses through the community boards that existed within the hub. It was here that he had announced his previous attempt at an auction that sold magical items and of course his new shop that would undertake the same task.

As the truck in front of them would slam on its breaks, the horned serpent would cease to a halt as well. It would have benefitted nobody if the two had collided and as such, Olliver had felt rather appreciative of his pets quick response. Of course, once the driver of this truck had begun to shout at him to go around them, the man couldn't help but scratch at the back of his head. "Go around?? Well I suppose that I could do that, if that's what you really wanted. Before that though, allow me to ask you but a rather simple question." Lightly tapping his foot on Dendar's head would cause the creature to lower its head a bit. "How is it that you have managed to acquire a license in this day and age?" It was meant to be a bit of a joke, initially, but he had honestly been rather curious about the whole thing.

Realizing that this teenage girl might have been rather frightened, Olliver would attempt to put her at ease. "I apologize if I freaked you out any, with my companion and I having approached you in such a manner. Honestly, it wasn't meant to be threatening." Kneeling down so that he could place a single hand on the bridge of the horned serpent's nose, Olliver would lightly rub at the spot. "He might look big and scary but quite honestly, he's rather affectionate so long as no one is threatening me." A soft smile would be offered to the girl at this point. "Okay.. Just one more attempt at this whole merchant in the new world thing. The auction itself might not have worked out but this, a more permanent shop, should do it. If not.. Well I'm not sure what purpose I'll serve in this Re:Earth. I mean, hell, even my class says merchant!!" As Olliver had begun to speak these words aloud within his new shop, located within Unison Central, the smell of rust and rot would begin to overtake the man's senses. This was a newly renovated space so he wasn't quite sure where the smell had been coming from. All that he could do in response was slightly gag and immediately throw his hands over his nose. "What in the he-" Before he could eve finish his thoughts, a thick fog would begin to rise from the ground below. Slowly but surely, this fog would overtake Olliver's vision and he would be forced through a pseudo-teleportation of sorts.

Once the fog that had completely emersed Olliver had dissipated, the man would find himself at the bottom of a grand staircase of sorts. "..seriously, what is going on??" Not at all feeling safe with the events that have thus transpired, Olliver would begin to inspect the area around him. Upon doing so, a soft susurrus would escape from behind him. The portly man had practically jumped out of his skin as a scaly being would begin to wrap around his form. "Holy shi-" It was then that he would take notice of the fact that this scaly being had been his very own horned serpent, Dendar. "What are you doing..?? You scared me half to death, you know??" The horned serpent would continue to brush its head against Olliver as the man had pondered over how he could manage to store the beast away in the future. Not that he didn't wish for the snake to remain with him at all times!! It was just pretty damned difficult to maneuver ones way through a place without notice when they had a fifteen foot snake slithering after them.

Figuring that he could piece that together later, Olliver would gently pet Dendar along the bridge of his nose. "While I'm not sure how we managed to get here, I suppose that things will work out in our favor with the both of us here. Let's get moving." At that point, both Olliver and his slithery companion would begin to make their way up the grand staircase. Upon arriving at the top, of course, the man would immediately take note of a couple of things. The first had been the blond haired individual that was rather dapperly dressed. The other had been the symbols along the marble landing and the massive doors at the other end. "I take it that you know why we've been brought here?" Of course, as he had stated this last bit, he had been meaning himself and Dendar.
