As nice as it would have been if everyone had loaded in in that same instant, it simply wasn't the truth. Not from what he could gather anyways. People were still showing up with little to no knowledge of what had happened to the world and each one of them would start at level one. Presumably, much like Nilla here. It was unfortunate for some, admittedly. Those that had been searching for loved ones that they would likely never see again, until they had loaded in. "From what I've managed to gather, people started to load in sometime in twenty twenty two. Giant sinkholes had begun to open up across the Earth and monoliths would rise out, rewriting reality. There was only a 1 hour notice period before everything had gone to hell. Honestly, I still remember what it was like.. A horrifying event for many."

As for where he had managed to procure his stock?? Well that answer was a bit more complicated. "I suppose that you could say that I earn these things both through my class and on my own. In some instances, I simply stumble across items and toss them into my shop. Or are awarded them by the 'system'. For the most part though, I have a unique ability with my class. It allows for me to acquire items after completing dungeons and quests. Those items are items that I specifically am unable to use myself. I have to sell them, whether that be to a player or back to the system. I prefer to opt for selling to players though, for obvious reasons."

The time would come in which Nilla had briefed Olliver on her past. She had seemed to believe that her past was less than exciting. To a degree, he could understand where she was coming from. On the other side of that though, he could tell that she had become who she was as a person thanks to the various events that transpired within her life. No person was truly boring, no matter how much they wished to tell themselves that. "A café sounds really nice, you know?? If you'd allow me to do so, I would be fully open to assisting you in the matter. It might have been a bit more difficult in the past but now that the world has changed?? Well it's much simpler than you might think."

Maintaining his gaze upon her, Olliver would continue to smile. It was a softer smile this time though. One that he couldn't help but allow himself as he thought about how nice it would be to assist her with a few things. "Even if you discard the idea of a café and focus solely on creating other types of things, I'll be willing to assist. I'd just need to know a bit more of what you are currently capable of to get a decent idea of where to start." The fact that she had undergone such a tragic entrance to this world had also been a bit concerning. If anything, it would only endear him to her even further. "I know that it might not mean much, given that we just met, but I'm glad that you are safe now at least. Train tracks sound like a horrible way to go. Hell, falling into a monster's den sounds like an even worse way to go. But still, you are here. And that's what's important."

The pair would begin to arrive at the restaurant that they had been aiming for. It was known as Crêperie Gigi and thankfully had outdoor seating. "If you'd like, we can go over this class of yours and see just what kinds of things you are capable of. An enchanting class could be rather useful, depending on what it allows you to do." Olliver would proceed to pull out a chair for Nilla, hoping to assist her in taking her seat, before he would move over to take his own. Once he had sat across from her, a young waitress would come over to them and begin to take their old. She would mention that the chef held the Chef class and that this was one of the best places to be at the moment for fine dining. Naturally, Olliver would order some of the most refined things that he could find. Additionally, in order to make up for his blunder of bumping into Nilla earlier, he would be sure to order a few things for her on the side. Namely: a box of chocolates and rockcandy confetti pop.

Rather than allowing for the goblin to disperse from the area, Olliver would send forth yet another of those glowing coins that seemingly burst out from his eye. Quite literally moving at the speed of a train, the coin would pierce through the back of the goblin and cause it to fall forward a bit. If this thing had any energy remaining within it, it would rather likely that Hana could take it out. And despite the fact that she could very well have killed him if this had been such a place, Olliver was quite looking forward to seeing whatever else it was that this woman was capable of.

Figuring that he would leave the remainder of the hard work to Hana in this moment, Olliver would simply remain by her side. "It's quite alright.. You just caught me a bit off guard. And as for the possibility of me being in a guild at the moment?? No, not quite. I am hoping to establish one soon though. If you are ever interested in joining up with me for that sake. And if not?? Well that's quite alright. Honestly, I'd be rather content with competing against someone as capable as you."

It was only in this moment that Olliver would come to realize something. The ability that the goblin had used earlier, Gold Rush, had designated the fact that it had worked solely on how many shiny objects the goblins had on their person. Was it possible that these goblins had both been carrying things that the pair could take with them?? Figuring that he might as well check, Olliver would slowly move from Hana's side and towards the corpse of the goblin that had been taken out by the fireball. "Hm.."

Much like many an individual that choose to come to the Hollow Hills, Olliver had come here for one express purpose. To uncover what kind of hidden treasures might be lying about in the area. The better the loot that he could acquire from a place such as this, the better his shop would turn out. He had already held various items of repute within his shop and yet, to this greedy merchant, it simply wasn't enough. No, Olliver was always on the hunt for something more. Some thing greater. Something that would ensure his place as the sole contributor to the player base as a merchant. And so he had come here. And whilst being here?? Well he would be informed by the system that someone was looking for individuals to form a party with. To fight something rather dastardly, if he were being honest. A dragon.

While the mere idea of fighting off a dragon was tomfoolery, Olliver had begun to feel more and more confident in his ability to stall creatures whilst the others had made the most of combat. If anything, he was merely a support character that could deal a pretty decent amount of damage. In his mind, anyone that was foolish enough to fight a dragon must have been around his level if not a bit lower. He could never guess how wrong he would turn out to be...

After a bit of traversing throughout the mountains of the Hollow Hills, Olliver would eventually arrive at the location of the one that had been searching for others. It was there that he would come upon a woman that was a bit taller than him. Presumably, she had been the requester. And yet.. Upon utilizing his discerning eye on the woman, her level had only been that of five. Was this.. really the one that he had been searching for?? "Uh.. Excuse me, ma'am?? Are you perhaps the individual that is hoping to fuck around with a dragon??" He had sincerely been hoping that she wasn't and yet.. It was entirely possible that she was.

Having caught wind of the fact that Hana put out an open invitation for those to join her in the forgotten mists, Olliver had decided that this would be a good enough chance to get to spend a bit more time with them. After a bit of traveling, Olliver would find himself near the predetermined location that was set out for him to arrive at. With each step, he would draw closer to both the location and a few others as a whole. It was thanks to this that he had caught the tail end of a conversation that was being had. "I take it that you are referring to me?" The plump merchant would allow for a soft laugh to escape from his lips as he made his way into the groups area. It was there that he would come to recognize a pair of faces. Not just the young prodigy that he had fought with in the past but a customer of his as well. "I must admit that I wasn't expecting to see so many familiar faces today. Even if it is just two." Given that he hadn't done as much last time, Olliver would now inspect the level of Mr. TryHard. From the looks of it, he was currently resting at level ten. A decent enough level. At least to the point of consideration for a guild.

"You guys do realize just how dangerous it can be out here, right?? The forgotten mists is home to plenty a monster, whether they be undead of mechanical in nature. Yet another prospective customer, it would seem. Business must finally be kicking off, given how many customers he was slowly starting to accumulate. That said, as this newfound customer would enter the shop and comment on it's name, Olliver would have no choice but to turn towards the newcomer and offer them a toothy grin. "A lovely name for sure!! Albeit I only declared it this after having settled on my persona, given these fancy ole goggles I've got on." As he would mention the goggles, Olliver would be sure to point to the brass ones that he had currently equipped. "As for reservations?? I suppose that I could place an item down for reservation, given I have already sent that precedent."

Turning his gaze to focus on the item that this individual had been interested in, Olliver would have to think to himself for a moment. "I suppose that all I'll need is your name. I can already see what you are hoping to pick up so that much doesn't need to be declared. As for the reservation time?? I'm going to be restricting all reservations to a total of two weeks moving forward." Speaking of reservations, there was an individual here and now that was hoping to pick up one of his reservations. Valentine, who from what he could tell, was currently sitting at level twenty eight. With Vanilla having apologized to Dendar, the horned serpent had turned it's attention towards it's master. It had never really been apologized to before, aside from by Olliver himself. As such, it wasn't quite sure what to do. Noticing this, Olliver would laugh to himself a bit before responding to her in the serpent's stead. "He doesn't seem all that concerned about it. Accidents happen and you weren't exactly coming for my life, you know?? Besides.. I should have properly considered the fact that not everyone is used to seeing such things simply slithering through the streets." Reaching back to place a hand on Dendar's snoot, the merchant would softly pet his pet.

That much having been taken care of, Olliver would turn to the other matters at hand. He had managed to secure her name and the fact that she was indeed a new player. Not that he didn't know the latter as of yet. "It is good to see that there are new people loading in, as it goes. A bit worrying as well though. Guild's haven't been properly established yet and most people aren't quite sure what to do when they first arrive. Even the act of gearing up is a bit of a difficult concept for some. Hm.. I guess that we can talk it over during lunch!!" This'll be the first lunch that he has shared with anyone outside of Dendar since he had gone on that picnic with Nubia. Just where was she anyways..??

He wouldn't expect her to allow him to escort her if she hadn't been comfortable with it. It had simply seemed like the gentlemanly thing to do. Either way, as the two had been heading out towards the restaurant, Olliver would speak a bit more on his disposition as a merchant. "Let's see.. I suppose that the easiest way to explain my role as a merchant is to start by saying that it is my primary class. Or well, Space Trader is anyways. My mere purpose in this newly refurbished world is to acquire items and pawn them off to the players. My gear can run from armor, weapons, accessories, and potions, to even things such as my companion here." As he would say this last part, he would gesture towards Dendar.

He had preferred to look into her eyes as he spoke but also had to maintain a semblance of paying attention to his surroundings. "My goal is to ensure that the players of this world have everything that they might need to survive. At first, Olliver had admittedly been a bit confused as to why Hana had been just kind of standing there. Had her item been defective?? No, no. She hadn't even used it since he had been around her and item's aren't usually like that unless there is something initially wrong with them. Just what exactly was the issue here then?? Not really knowing what to expect, Olliver would tilt his head off to the side as he had simply watched what the girl was doing. "Hana.. Do you-" Before he could even complete his sentence, she would shout the world explosion aloud once more. This time around though, somehow, it held more vigor than before. And following that..??

From the looks of things, a ball of fire had begun to swell into existence. This on it's own isn't all that worrying but paired with the fact that she had just shouted explosion in all caps?? Well that was his cue to get the hell out of there. Hell, even the goblins would find that there was something dangerous coming from the mere pressure of that ball of fire. As each individual would attempt to run, Olliver would cast a single coin back towards the buffed up goblin. He would aim for this one in particular due to the fact that it would likely be knocked back into the other one, keeping them both there. As for Ollie?? Well he would continue his attempt to remove himself from the situation.

Not even a moment later and the goblins would find themselves being swallowed by the raging fires. If this wasn't enough to kill the buffed up goblin.. Well with the power of such a blow, Olliver wouldn't find it hard to believe that the goblin would be covered in third degree burns. "Just what kind of hellish power has this kid been holding onto..?? I know that I boosted her [PWR] stat a moment ago but jeez.." From the looks of things, there was never going to be a lack of fun around Hana. She had been a constant source of entertainment and surprise. Even Olliver's blows weren't as dangerous as the thing that had just blown through the goblins.

Having grown all the more interested in working alongside her, Olliver would plant himself on the ground beside Hana. He could feel that his ability to fly was about to be null for a bit anyways, so this had felt like the correct course of action. "I didn't know that you were lugging around such firepower, kid. Watching Hana in action had actually been rather entertaining to the merchant. Not only had she been capable of producing wickedly wonderful sounds with that guitar of hers but overall, just about everything she had been doing was some form of entertainment. Not only had she managed to buff one of his stats, albeit not an all that useful one, but she had seemed to reverse a buff that was occurring to one of the goblins. "Well, well. Seems like she's going to be far more useful to have around then I expected." After a small chuckle to himself, he would send another glowing coin towards the goblin that he had previously attacked. At this point, the coin would slam into the creature at a speed of about B rank and would evenly match the creatures defense. "This might be a bit more fun than I was anticipating."

Given that he had wished to respond properly to Hana, Olliver would shout back down to her. "You're doing great down there, kid!! Honestly, I'm so proud of what I'm seeing right now. Hell, I'll give you that distraction that you need and a bit more." Olliver would then take a moment to focus in on Hana before moving again. 'True Value, initiated. Ability Selected. Strong Points Identified. Buffing.' Having carefully identified the ability that Hana had just used, Olliver would gift her with something special. Not only would her ability to reuse Quick-Change be shortened, but her [PWR] would also increase a rank for the time being.

With that having been said and done, Olliver would try and do what he could to get the goblins together in one place. He would do this by soaring a few feet above the goblin, so that he was just out of it's reach, and would hover above the wall in which the other goblin had just been thrown into. "Well come on then you stupid goblin~ You can't really do much to me from down there!!" At this point he was simply teasing the goblin. A reckless thing to do, given the fact that his [DEF] and [VIT] had been so low but it was something that he would do nonetheless. This was naturally something that would result in the goblin that he had been taunting to chase after him and for it to leap into the air to try and bite him!! If it wasn't for the fact that he had just increased his speed, that honestly might have even dealt some decent damage to the merchant. Thankfully Olliver had been just out of reach as this goblin would attempt to lunge at him as well.

At least she had accepted the fact that he had acknowledged her talent. Hell, she was promising enough to even consider recruiting for his future guild. All in due time. And hey!! After a brief moment of searching the area, Olliver would track down a pair of goblins a few blocks away from them. They had seemed to have been trying to break into a storage unit of some sort. "Looks like we've managed to track them down rather quickly at least." Only then did he realize how much he might have frightened Hana by shooting off into the sky like that. "I uh.. I apologize for the suddenness of my actions. If this will help you feel a bit more at ease though, I'll let you in on something." Lifting her up a bit so that he could more or less carry her in his arms, the man would offer her a soft smile. "We're about to take off towards our targets so you might want to hold on." It was at that point that he would push off from his current location in the sky and would fly directly towards the goblins at a horrifying rate of seventy miles an hour.

The pair would more or less land a decent thirty feet away from the goblins. "A pair of level twenty two goblins. Only a level higher than your own. You think you can handle it??" He would then proceed to place Hana gently on the ground. "I'll hit them from up high but come down to snag you if you call out for me. Just uh.. Be safe, yeah?" It was as he had been saying these things that the goblins would take notice of them. Unsurprisingly, the goblins would immediately begin to lose their minds and start to bellow out these horrid guttural sounds. Seeing that they were prepared to attack, Olliver would shoot back into the sky, hovering above the group by about forty feet.

Realizing how things might have looked at the moment, Olliver would attempt to try and kick things off on his own. He had outright refused to allow this girl to suffer any serious damage and as such, would opt to try and take out the biggest threats right now. 'Discerning Eye Activated. Target Selected. Dismantle Occurring.' With his ability now active, a single glowing coin would shoot forth from Olliver's eye and would slam into the goblin that hadn't quite been expecting it. To Olliver's surprise though, it didn't quite appear as though the damage was as much as he had hoped for. "Huh.. Guess I'll have to take one of those pops early on." Figuring that his best bet would be to increase his speed, Olliver would devour a chocolate pop that he had received earlier and would enhance his level by one.

Having been caught unawares by the power of Olliver's attack, one of the goblins would proceed to defend themselves more aptly. It would make use of it's gold rush ability and would opt to enhance it's defense so that it didn't take such a beating again. It's gaze had been solely focused on Olliver in this moment as it had thought of how it was going to get back at the flying man. As for the other goblin?? Well it would bullrush Hana, even going as far as to activate it's lunge ability to try and enhance it's speed even further!! Little did the creature realize though that it's speed would more or less stay the same. And if it had managed to get close enough to try and hit Hana?? Well it would attempt to do so with it's ability to strike.

It was one thing to hear that dungeons were going to exist within this new world of theirs but to actually experience it?? The mere thought had sent chills down Olliver's spine. Not chills in the sense of worry though. No, these chills had come from the pure excitement that had been coursing through the merchant's veins. From what information he had gathered in the hub, one could easily break the bank if they had managed to clear a dungeon. And from the looks of this dungeon?? Well it was something that he was hoping on overcoming.

The information that he had gathered in the hub had given him some rather vital information about this place. For starters, it was known as The Mountain's Heart. This was a dungeon that would be located within the Hollow Hills of North America. A medium risk normally but almost certainly a high risk area as of now. While that thought was worrying, it wasn't necessarily all that bad. Especially considering the fact that he is hoping to come with another individual. Now as for the requirements?? Well Olliver quite simply couldn't meet the requirements on his own. Not one of them anyways. Whilst he had easily cleared the level requirement, his anchor simply didn't match up. And quite honestly?? He wasn't in the mood to purchase one of those dungeon bypass keys. No, instead of doing that, Olliver would simply reach out to a newfound ally of his. The one known only as Nikolas.

After having managed to party up with Nikolas, Olliver would make his way out towards the dungeon. He had decided to leave his horned serpent behind, due to the low level of his familiar and the unknown factors that had presented themselves. All in all, it would only be Nikolas and Olliver entering the dungeon at this time... At least in this party of people. That being the case, it would be rather simple for Olliver to ignore the major warnings as he had drawn closer to the entrance of the dungeon. Those warning screens meant nothing to him, knowing that his partner would be alright back at the shop.

Eventually the pair would come to find themselves standing at the edge of a rocky cliffside. What stood before them was a cave entrance with one final warning screen. "Looks like we've made it all the way here. Are you perhaps ready to tear this place down with me?" The greedy merchant couldn't help but laugh to himself as he had imagined just what kind of wares could be obtained within. "The rewards for clearing this thing might end up being some real phenomenal stuff. Just imagine what we could do with it!!" Admittedly, the man might have sounded a bit crazed as he had mentioned acquiring treasures within. The fact that his pupils were now in the shape of dollar signs.. Well that likely made it look all the worse. At least it showed his devotion to the dungeon though!!

The fact that Hana had looked at her body after hearing his statement had left Olliver feeling admittedly rather worried. He wasn't attempting to come across in any particular way. He had simply meant the fact that her level in and of itself had grown. Seeing her initial reaction.. Well it would lead Olliver to be a bit more specific in the way that he had phrased things in the future.

Knowing that she at least understood what he had meant now, Olliver had felt a bit more at ease. "Well I'm glad that you've been managing to increase your level as effectively as you have, Hana. It shows that you've got some raw potential hidden somewhere in there. A wonderful thing to have in this newfound world of ours." The thought of asking her what kind of items she had had certainly crossed the merchant's mind as the two had conversed. If she had obtained them from another merchant.. Just who would that individual have been?? Admittedly, the thought of someone encroaching upon his customers had worried him. For now though, that wasn't something that he really needed to worry about. Perhaps after the mission.

The fact that she could summon forth a guitar now was certainly interesting to say in the least. Then again, he knew absolutely nothing about her class. It was entirely possible that she was capable of such a thing for quite some time now. Due to his overt curiosity, at some point he would have to ask about it. The capabilities of her class. "As for Dendar's capabilities?? Well.. He was certainly more capable when I initially met him. Before I tamed him, I suppose. It's kind of like when you have a bad guy join your team after you beat a video game. The world tends to lower their capabilities to make things fair or what have you. To answer your question though, Dendar is indeed capable of combat. In fact, it is his intended use. At the moment though, he isn't strong enough to warrant bringing everywhere. For now anyways..."

Olliver had been searching for some way to enhance his horned serpent's capabilities for awhile now. Even with that being the case though, for all intensive purposes, his results had been rather unfruitful. Hopefully things would work out in the future. Once he tracks things down in the forge. "And while I am technically capable of teleporting, that isn't exactly what I had in mind." By this point, a sphere of stars would begin to burst into being around Olliver. As this would happen, he would begin to lift off of the ground. "I was thinking more of flying." He would then wrap a single arm around Hana's waist and take into the air. Embarrassingly enough though, give his regular human tiered strength, Olliver would admittedly struggle a bit to take her into the air with him. Hopefully she hadn't noticed.

If Hana had permitted him to take her into the air, Olliver had planned to soar into the air and look around for any signs of the goblins that were mentioned. He had been capable of seeing out to a range of one hundred and five meters with pinpoint accuracy, so it wasn't all that difficult for him to track them down. Even if Hana had chosen not to permit it, the merchant would still fly up and check things out. Everything ultimately came down to whether or not he was taking Hana with him. Because if he had been?? Well he would have flung the pair of them through the air and towards the goblins at a rate of about seventy miles an hour!!
