Ravenna looked up at the goth girl. “I…am not the one doing that either,” she said, as she cracked a smile. “Yeah, you’re on your own in that regard. I don’t know how to get you down either.” [break][break]
Her amusement, however, would prove short-lived – as an immense monster suddenly burst from the ground and attacked the three of them, starting with Ravenna herself. Unable to dodge in time, Ravenna felt herself get swatted away by the monster’s vines. She flew away and cried out, but managed to land on her feet; she didn’t remember being this nimble, either. “Fuck!” she said, as she steadied herself and swatted another incoming vine away with a kick. “You’ll pay for that, you overgrown – “[break][break]
But before she could finish her sentence, another vine came careening towards her. This time, however, she was prepared; she kicked it away too, her legs blazing with fire. Then she felt the air shift around her again and she moved away, dodging another attack. She glanced up at another scarecrow, noting that this one was wielding a makeshift sword and shield instead of scythe arms. These must’ve been…elite scarecrows?[break][break]
Whatever. “Come and get it!”[break][break]

“Cooler than…hey, that’s not true!” said Ravenna, as she put her hands on her hips. But before the two girls could get into an argument, another scarecrow careened towards the third girl, who responded by…unleashing a stinger? This day was getting weirder and weirder. [break][break]
“I don’t think so, asshole!” said Ravenna, as she somersaulted towards the scarecrow currently attacking the insect girl. She kicked the scarecrow with a certain flourish, her body slowly acclimating to the new powers she found herself with. The scarecrow burst into flame, then ran away past them while slowly dwindling to ashes. [break][break]
Ravenna blinked, then assumed a fighting stance. Had she always been this primed for battle? “Alright, any more assholes want to dance?” she said, her shock replaced with a confident smirk. “Come on, you pointy dickfaces!”

Ravenna clicked her teeth. Like Hikari, she was aware that quite a few men were ogling her – and by God, she loved being ogled. She stretched, basking in the ego boost that the considerable male attention gave her. “Looking’s free, but if they try anything more, I’ll kick their asses. Literally,” she said, as she kicked her legs up slightly. “Unless they’re cute, I mean. Then…well, you know.”[break][break]
Then she put her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hand, looking straight at Hikari. “Of course, you’re sitting pretty yourself, babe. Sure you don’t want to pick up a few boys yourself?” It was just like Ravenna to assume everyone was as boy-crazy as her, wasn’t it? And she loved it, too.[break][break]
Already, the disappointment from her loss was fading away – Ravenna glanced at the men who’d been ogling her, then smiled and winked. This was just what she needed, really! She bit her lip, resisting the urge to blow a kiss; that would’ve been a bit much, wouldn’t it?[break][break]

At the question, Ravenna straightened up, then clicked her teeth and smiled. “But of course!” she said, with a flourish of her hand. “Some guy tried to get under my skirt by offering me an item. I told him no thank you, sir – and gave him some free advice to boot. Want to hear it?”[break][break]
Regardless of whether or not Hikari would respond, Ravenna would laugh. “I told him that us ladies can smell desperation a mile away, and we don’t like it,” she said. Gosh, she needed to say that out loud to someone – she just hadn’t realized it yet. And her recent loss had made it so that she had less of a filter than usual.[break][break]
Then Ravenna laughed. Besides, wasn’t hanging out with one’s friends supposed to be about letting down one’s filter? “Sucks to be him, I guess – but hey, no-one’s entitled to my presence. Except you of course, hun.”

Ravenna ducked under another scythe strike, her eyes wide – had she always been this limber? “No, but I sure as shit am not dying here and now!” she said. The menu popped up again, and she read several commands; what the Hell did any of this mean? She hadn’t played video games since she was a kid![break][break]
One command in particular caught her eye. What was a Dragon Wing?[break][break]
“Dragon Wing!” she said, as she instinctively slid down one of the scarecrows…in a kick that blazed with fire, and shattered the scarecrow into pieces. The moment after, she got up and dusted herself. “I…what was…”[break][break]
She didn’t have time to contemplate further, as another scarecrow came rushing at her. Ravenna jumped, then kicked it away, turning it to ashes. “Hey, I…I can fight! What’s the big – “[break][break]
The remaining scarecrow roared, then came barreling at Ravenna. But by then, she’d gotten the hang of things.[break][break]

Ravenna stopped in her tracks and stopped humming. One moment, she’d been coming back from a shopping spree – the next, she was in a cornfield in a completely different pair of shoes. And all her shopping bags had disappeared. “Where the – what the Hell just happened?” she said, as she batted her eyes.[break][break]
Then something like a chat log appeared in front of her. “Clear the field of enemies,” said the text. That was all the warning she got before she felt the air shift – instinctively, she dodged, falling to the ground as she did so. [break][break]
She looked up. There, standing above her, was a scarecrow with glowing eyes and scythes for hands. Two more identical scarecrows crowded behind it, readying their own scythes. “I…what?” she said, adrenaline filling her head. “Get the fuck away from me, you – whatever the fuck you think you are!”[break][break]

She forgot that Hikari came from money; she was used to tolerating it on normal days, but her loss meant that she was in no mood to do so today. “This is where I usually go when I’m in Motor City,” she said, waving her hand dismissively. “If you don’t like it, we can go somewhere else – but I don’t have much cash on me.” [break][break]
“Yeah, got my ass kicked. I’m a bit…less than enthusiastic right now.” Ravenna knew when she was beaten, and there was no use denying it – half the city probably knew, too. “Anyway, if you’re willing to pay for the both of us while we’re at some expensive joint, I won’t say no.”[break][break]

With slumped shoulders, Ravenna Brooke and kicked open the Wild West-style bar’s doors. She’d called Hikari over, expecting to make a victory lap with a friend – instead, she’d burned out badly, which had caused her no end of chagrin. She hadn’t bothered to change out of her purple tracksuit, and so she trudged into said bar with a grimace.[break][break]
Ravenna took a seat at the usual spot that she used to meet with people – fortunately, it hadn’t been taken. As if she needed the extra inconvenience today of all days, when she’d just lost a race. Ravenna’s first pair of dancing shoes, given to her by her parents when she was eight years old. Though they obviously no longer fit her, she remembers them fondly because she first got into dancing through them – and by extension, other forms of expressing oneself through physicality such as modeling. The Blazing Brawler is a class all about kicking ass. With two black dress shoes made from a powerful Dragon soul, all of their kicks are devastating. You can use two of this class' basic attacks per round, of which you have four varieties that each do you [PWR]-1 in damage: Dragon Claw, Roar, Slam, and Wing. The Dragon soul in your soles is greedy even in death, and steals stats from opponents with every kick. Thanks to your X Passive, your basic attacks have been enhanced; stolen stats last until your Style gets reset. Additionally, you gain bonus points at then end of a mission depending on the highest Style Rank achieved during a thread:

- Dragon Claw - Your bread and butter, the most basic of basic kicks. This attack steals 5% of your target's [PWR] and buffs you for the same amount. While you have C Style or higher, this attack ignores 20% [DEF] thanks to precise placement of flames, reminiscent of a Dragon's sharp talons.[break][break]
- Dragon Roar - A low sweep attack, meant for hitting multiple melee range enemies and knocking foes down. This attack steals 5% of your target's [MAGI] and buffs you for the same amount. While you have C Style or higher, flames burst out all around you with this attack, making it a 3m AoE reminiscent of a Dragon's breath.[break][break]
- Dragon Slam - Attack from above with a falling axe kick, striking with your heel. This attack steals 5% of your target's [DEF] and buffs you for the same amount. While you have C Style or higher, this attack [dazes] enemies if it breaks their [DEF], adding an extra post to each of abilities on cooldown like a powerful swing from a Dragon's Tail.[break][break]
- Dragon Wing - Maneuverability is key, and that's what sliding dash-kicks like this one are for! This attack steals 5% of your target's [SPD] and buffs you for the same amount. While you have C Style or higher, you can dash 1m for each rank of [SPD] you have as part of this attack, moving at your [SPD]+1 to reach your foe, appearing like the blur of a Dragon in flight.[break][break]

Although Ravenna cuts an imposing figure, the few friends she’s kept around from her kindergarten days say that she’s always been too bombastic to contain in the small Illinois town they grew up in. Highly expressive even as a child, she’s always wanted more out of life than a small-town life – she’s wanted to live the luxurious American Dream ever since she could remember. Ever hardworking, she managed to secure a slot in a Chicago university.[break][break]
While studying for her Elementary Education degree in Chicago, Ravenna became entranced by the big city life; she ate good food, went on luxurious vacations, and dated handsome young men. Fortunately for her, disposable income was never a problem – starting from eighteen, she found some on-off work as a model. By the time she graduated, she’d made a decent living off her modeling work, but chose instead to move to a posh suburb to teach children.[break][break]
But the allure of great wealth would not be let go of so easily. While Ravenna worked as a schoolteacher, she was persuaded by her colleagues to try out for a swimsuit competition. She made it to the finals, where she caught the eye of a photographer employed by a widely published men’s magazine – he offered her an opportunity to take her worldwide, and she took it.[break][break]
That was all it took to flush the sweet country girl persona down the drain. Ravenna acquired an even higher standard of living, posing for various publications while on-off dating various rich (and usually older) men. She could’ve spent the rest of her life like this…[break][break]
