Trying to remain quiet might cost them their lives; that was the thoughts running through Nyke's head. His shoulder barreled into the locked door attempting to knock it open. He reeled back holding the joint wincing. "Okay fuck that didn't work." He stood back up his foot lashing out shortly after his pained words.[break][break]
It cracked against the door another loud bang as the sound resounded down the steps. The metallic stomping paused as Nyke looked over the railing once, a bead of sweat dripping down. He'd wipe his forehead slamming his foot back into the door near the handle once more. BANG! Again he let out another foot. THWANG! Finally the door had popped open flinging to reveal the crisp air of the roof.[break][break]
"Come on!" He yelled just in time as metallic stomps neared the stairwell.

The metallic stomps only got louder and more sporadic. His worried eyes looked to Hana as he nodded turning swiftly and bounding up the stairs. Each step carried him faster and faster as if his speed had increased. He attempted to keep his footsteps as quiet as possible, each one building up a bead of sweat. He mad sure Hana was right behind him and as they got to the top his hand graced the door handle nudging slightly in an attempt to push it open, yet the door wouldn't budge. His steps were those of triumph and sureness as he approached the door that he'd seen with marked files. Stepping inside his slowly twirling double pupils focused in searching over each mundane file as he pushed them aside, "nooo, nooo."[break][break]

He was still fairly shell shocked at everything happening, he wasn't even sure how he was walking currently; he just wanted to make sure he got back to his mom and dad safely. He'd look in amazement as the doors began to pop open one by one. The shadowy figure that appeared to carefully open all the doors they could see shocked him. "That's so freaking cool!" He exclaimed in a loud whisper.[break][break]
"Yeah I gotchu I gotcha." He nodded in excitement as he focused his eyes on the open doors.[break][break]
It wasn't as obvious as glowing eyes eyes but if you looked at him you could see it; another iris forming equipped with its very own pupil. They began to swirl around each other slowly as if adjusting like a telescope. As both his eyes focused in he smiled, "Ah I see it now."[break][break]
He could see what type of walls these were, what kind of wood they used for the door which direction the wind was blowing and how fast among other things. His gaze turned to Hana curiously as he smiled. "I have no idea what this looks like but hopefully it isn't creepy haha." He laughed nervously fully expecting it to be weird but not really understanding the depth.[break][break]
He could even see her level; a fact which he kept to himself. "Okay lets see here," he'd say looking around.[break][break]
His search almost came up unfruitful as he looked into each door even squinting to focus in his vision. He looked back to her as she questioned him only to pause momentarily as his brain short circuited due to the question. She seemed more experienced so maybe they didn't have it mission impossible secret agent man this whole thing. "Oh uh..." he replied back in a whisper standing up slowly. [break][break]

He nodded along with her request, using the service elevators might be a bit safer, upon inspection they seemed a bit more intact than the metallic ones that spiraled up each floor. The square grey facility looked like something purely out of fiction to Nyke the nerd in him liked it. Yet the worn down look of it gave him and eerie feeling he figured they could do a lil more than a peak just to make sure. "Maybe we should do a bit more than just peak, ya know just to be safe. Going together might be better too know knows what's still around?" He chuckled nervously attempting to be a gentlemen like his father had instructed and step Infront of Hana.

it was his following sure footed steps that caused one of the rather seedier looking steps to cave way as he stumbled nearly falling through before caught himself on the railing. His nimble legs stepped up above the steps making extra careful to work around them. As they came to the first floor his eyes peered through the crack in the door before opening it with his body behind it. Just like the first floor and the ones above this entire floor had open glass panning to each room, allowing one to see inside. Dirty broken blinds rested against some of the rooms where others had completely fell down. A single long railing stretched across the big square preventing people from falling down the scenic opening to the bottom floor. He took a single step forward beyond the door and a few others crouched as if he was a secret agent spy. He took a glance back to Hana motioning for her to follow him with the utmost serious of looks. Despite all this Nyke did look comically silly, whether he was doing this on purpose to lighten the mood or he was just socially clueless was still to be questioned.[break][break]

It took him a minute to gather himself , still on his hands and knees face pointed towards the ground above a puddle of his own spittle. He attempted to steady his breathing as he looked around, a hand was placed on his knee as he began to stand up on wobbly legs. He stumbled falling to a knee as the people gathered around in the distance to the sound of a mans voice. He rose up again the feeling of lightheadedness washing over him as he took in deep breaths keeping his head up. Nyke looked around taking in his surroundings more than he had before. He made subtle notes to himself as his body carried him over to the crowd, another motion he hadn't had to think about. The sounds of a gruff man rallying the people are at least attempting to could be heard. [break][break]
"This is obviously from the light that happen years ago. If we want to make it out alive we have to work together." He spoke in a loud booming voice as he took charge.[break][break]
His flowing blonde locks were accentuated by bright green orbs which stared smugly at everyone. He had already amassed a bit of a following gathering the more unseedy and stronger looking types and their classes from the masses, leaving the weak and rather unsavory types to deal with things on their own. He stepped down from the small wooden box he was giving his long drawn out speech on and began walking through the crowd. Him and his men were strong arming people forcing them to cough up the name of their class and what it did. Nyke stood their dumbfounded still confused and in a daze from the coma he had been forced under, his hospital gown flowing in the wind. When the man got to him he placed a hand on his chest looking him up and down brazenly. "Class." He demanded.[break][break]

His last instructions were to be useful and find the things they needed to find. To Nyke he figured if they found the items they could just escape. SO standing back up he rubbed the back of his head and looked around clearing his voice as he spoke up. "U-uh all those who are left it would make sense if we uh gathered together to do the other task. Seems only right...I'm Nyke by the way." His hand weakly rose to the selection screen and before anyone could stop, him to their horror he had vanished. When he came to he nearly thudded on the ground, the jolted forcing him up but even more than that the dry heaving his body was doing forced him to his knees. Nyke was naturally perceptive even if he was absent mindedly picking his nose, it did help that he was on a high perch. His eyes picked up on a moving figure in the distance and before he could process anything his body was already incessantly moving about on its own. "Wait, wait body!" Nyke had scoured around for anything and everything to get going. He couldn't take anymore of those six am runs his body forced him on, it was pure torture one he couldn't exactly escape from. The first few days were just him flailing and screaming as his legs carried him forth, the vague feeling of some otherworldly determination in his chest driving him forward against his will. When he promised the earth he'd work hard this wasn't exactly what he mean, more so on the lines of getting a damn job but what was done was done.[break][break]
Currently he stood on the outskirts of this land just out of site and reach of any machines. He nestled on a perch atop a building who's gilded arch and craftsmanship hid him from the sun. His parents had been reluctant on letting him go and by parents it was certainly just his mom, his dad was all for it practically pushed him out of the house. They had faced their own tutorials and come out alive and the fact he had done the same was well enough for his father who wanted nothing for his son to find his own success. [break][break]
