He stood fully content with the information he had garnered. His eyes looked up an in that moment the shuffling through plant life alerted him. He'd turn just as Kai walked up. Nyke's eyes remained fierce attempting to strike intimidation through the young man, as if he was intimidating at all. When Kai asked his blunt question he squinted turning his head in confusion. Nyke had taken his time to read more up about Paris and the area the mission was located in. Whether it was from his need to understand things or his years of gaming which caused him to look up countless guides was unsure. He just knew he had the perfect route picked out. He had met the group earlier, it was far hard to find them than it needed to be. He commented on this but also spoke how that may be the case due to all the wild crazies out there. it was an unfortunate circumstance, one he would have to overlook. They gave him the paper and sent him on his way, ensuring him to be careful less he be more fertilizer for the wild this was overtaking New York.[break][break]
He didn't tell his mother and father what he was doing, he didn't want them to needlessly worry. Currently he was out on the prowl, having managed to make it to one of the destinations on the map he looked over the site carefully. He was told that there may have been some help on the way and to be on the look out for them. This information caused him to work from the bottom up, going to the nearest site hoping they would make their way on over.[break][break]
It was a simple encampment. A metal fence surrounding an old home in a now dilapidated neighborhood. Most of the houses were caved in or destroyed in some way, all except this one. He'd check the yard a large space which stretched into a nearby flourishing of trees. There was nothing their either except an old tree house. Nyke hadn't even made his way into the home yet, he wanted to check the perimeter and get a hang of the environment before he chose to go inside.[break][break]

Nyke stood up, stepping back as the shelter worker began to slowly open the cage. They'd leash the dog and hand it to Nyke who took it happily. "Yeah they do seem to get along, maybe this could be a lil doggy date for them." He beamed brightly looking up to Evey. [break][break]
Stepping beside her the dog he chose who he found out was named Stone seemed to wag its tail heavy as it neared the time for them to head outside. "Shall we go, they are looking very restless."[break][break]
Nyke took a few steps out of the backroom and toward the exit looking back to Evey as he expected her to follow. "I think we could try and stroll and find a park. The walk to find it and around it should be enough to let them play a little bit and have some fun. I brought some toys and treats as well so we could get them whipped out once the time comes." "I didn't even think about adopting the dogs." Nyke put a finger to his chin as he finished signing the papers. [break][break]
Maybe he could take one of these poor lil Paris pooches home. He never had an animal for it and he always had wanted one, plus he was old enough he was his own man. He opted to mull it over on the walk; waiting to see if him and the dog got along. He followed Evey to the back, his eyes glancing over her cardigan covered form.[break][break]
He watched as she excitedly vanished to the back and gathered a lil doggy. His hands came up brushing along the dogs soft fur as he baby talked to its smiling face. "She is adorable yesss she is yes you are." His fingers continued to delicately scratch the fur before he stood back up straitening out, resolved to find a doggo of his own.[break][break]
He walked through the back looking until his eyes met a big yet young pup. a Pitbull who looked to be alone curled up sitting on a bed solemn. He crouched looking deep into the dogs eyes. "You want to go on a walk boy?" The dog perked up slowly rising to its fours as he walked over licking Nyke's fingers through the gate.[break][break]

Nyke jumped a bit s she appeared behind him. He turned being careful not to bump her. Hand outstretched his smiled scratching the back of his head just like any nervous anime character would. Nyke listened to his father prattle on and one while his mother fixed his hair. She didn't understand why he liked it so messy, but she knew how to get it just right; she stopped bugging him about it years ago but every now and again she would softly nag him about it. She was a short Hispanic women, carrying poofy hair and colorful clothes. "Miho I dunno why you like your hair all jumbled like this. Ay, Dios Mio! You'll give your poor mother an aneurism."[break][break]
Her accent had become a lot softer since living in the states but she still had that same charm about her, it was one of the reasons his father married her. "Let the boy alone Camila, he knows what's in style now a days."[break][break]
He reached over playfully pinching her rear chuckling as she jumped swatting at him. His dad was a gruff dark skin man with salt and pepper all over him, a serious look about him even when he was smiling. "And you'll be okay right Miho? You know I can come with you if you want?" Nyke furrowed his brow confused as his mother spoke about babying him again.[break][break]
His dad pulled her softly away from the door wrapping his arms around her. "Uh uh you ain't going no where, we got our own valentines day shindig to attend right here girl." His father twirled her, planting kiss after kiss as Nyke scowled.[break][break]
Now wrapped up in her husbands love his dad shot him a look urging Nyke to go before she realized what was happening. He shot out the door speed walking away from the house before his mom could try and alter his look anymore than she already had.[break][break]
Getting to Paris was easy in this new world, there existed a plethora of spots to transition to far away foreign lands that were instantly faster than any other mod of transportation; not that any of them were still functional.[break][break]
Getting to the place, Nyke checked himself over once more before heading inside. He sported black slacks with a red belt. There existed a chain that connected from one of his belt buckles to his wallet. A nicely tailored dress shirt was worn with a red tie that matched his belt. And a jacket over it all that was black just like his pants. Each nail was painted on a pattern of black then red. He had golden earrings that ran up his ears, a round septum piercing and a red sleeping mask above his head.[break][break]
Walking into the facility Nyke smiled brightly placing his head rather roughly on the receptionist desk of the dog shelter. "Hey I'm here to walk some lovely lil doggies!"

Santa flying away sent relief through Nyke. Clasping his hands Nyke silently thanked the lords above for their safely. Beas of sweat which quickly cooled feel from his brow and the purple power soon subsided. He jogged over to the others giving a helping hand to stabilize Rory as he was helped up.[break][break]
"I'm glad we're okay as well." He smiled to Summer nodding along with her statement.[break][break]

As Summer handed her number over Nyke would hand her his own, nodding to Rory who practically already had his contact info. He jogged over to her looking at their boxes of presents. He peered inside head practically in the thing as he kicked his feet like a joyous school boy. Seeing Rory get the duck sent a chill of relief through him. Tension reared its ugly head as the notification appeared and he realized they weren't actually done. They still needed berries; it was this fact that made him slowly panic. A panic that he attempted to quell slowly as he gathered himself. His eyes awakened, double pupils slightly merged as the iris' turned a sparkling purple.[break][break]
He scanned once more head turning frantically as he began to rush into a different part of the woods in search of berries. His eyes told him everything, and knowing it all meant he knew there were no berries in sight; even with his near perfect vision. He had almost given up, resorted to a tragic fate until his vision pinged it, a tree similar to the one they had fought earlier.
Its body looked battered and beaten, like someone had gotten to it before them. He began to rush over, "I found some I found some!" He screamed out hoping Rory would follow.[break][break]
Once he got to the tree its battered body held many berries but all seemed to be crushed. He dropped to his knees in a manner similar to giving up as he searched through the crushed and half eaten morsels. He began punching through the torn bark angrily, his hands quickly became battered and when they nearly were broken he stood stomping on it out of rage.[break][break]
"Open you fucking trunk! Open you goddamn tree! You won't kill us! As Rory was thrown from the horse Nyke would attempt to help him up, using the last remnants of his speed to get them to the lack; frantically attempting to half carry the man. "My speed is almost up, the duck we have to look for the duck." Nyke blurted out in a near panicked tone as he feel muscles and veins still glowing a dim dark purple.[break][break]
His head snapped side to side seeing the wildlife that began to slowly scurry away. "He'll die if we don't hurry." His worry came to a crescendo as he revealed the source of his anxiety.[break][break]
Lifting up his untrained eyes scanned the waters edge and before long he heard a loud quacking from beside him. Just feet away was a sparkling golden duck observing Rory and Nyke. Dumbfoundedly the dimly lit man got up crouched with as much of a friendly face as he could muster plastered on his face. The animal stood slowly beaming eyes blinked on him before quacking once, quacking tice, turning abruptly as its tail feathers ruffled and comically duck sprinting away.
