As an ode to last time and a bit of a joke Nyke sat perched up on something again. This time it was much lower to the ground but still high enough that Hana wouldn't see if she didn't look up. He dropped down as he saw her stop smiling and standing in as much of a spectacular pose. This time he said it in as much of a friendly tone as he possibly could, he hoped they'd get a laugh out of it. "Behind you."[break][break]
He took a few steps up sending a party invite to Hana. "So we here to just check out stuff or fight that big ole golem from las time? You sure we can handle it?" [break][break]
His question was routed in a need to prepare. More times than not he had over planned almost every situation he'd come across; if it pertained to a video game that is. And hunting a monster while finding supplies was just another one of those occasions. He was stronger for it, being a whole level 10 and it seemed Hana was a bit stronger as well. As stone ran off Nyke reached into his inventory and pulled out a leather glove putting it on. He offered another to Evey. He wasn't a germaphobe, he just really didn't want to be raw dogging drool covered tennis balls. "I find it easier to hold on to wet things when you have your hands covered. Nyke figured the up and coming area could be filled with monsters galore, but that was the dangerous part about this mission/ He knew what he signed up to do and he would do it if it meant saving people. Nyke picked up the berries wiping the tears that had formed from his face. He looked up carrying them back as the alert popped up that he had just found the last of the berries. You needed skill but sometimes a person could also benefit from luck; it too was an important part of life. His eyes remained forward running right past his partner who watched him dumbfounded. "Dantalion!!" He yelled out to the man they had left behind to deal with the mighty ogre.[break][break]
His panicked voice screamed out once more, "Dantalion, we found them! We can leave come on!" He ran beck attempting to find where the warrior had been left. He wasn't nearly as fast as he could be using his core skills but he was still damn fast, especially with the adrenaline and anxiety running through his body. [break][break]
"You better not have died on us! Dantalion!" He desperately hoped he had lived. Nyke had just met the man but he couldn't have the man's blood on his hands due to his ineptitude.[break][break]
In the distance almost as if the tutorial knew they were coming to an end bright blue becomes lit up deeper within the forest behind them. That had to be where they were to escape to.

Nyke looked over the party invite for a moment before accepting. His name would appear as TryHard to Kai. He follow behind him slowly, half going over the papers he had and half inspecting the man. Nyke could tell he was a higher level than him, but that only really mattered to him due to how dangerous this mission was. Holding his hands up Nyke belted out "WAIT," in a dramatic fashion. His scream at the top of his lungs startled the man who almost dropped the snowball.[break][break]
"Before you end it...just tell me why do you hate the holidays so much?" The man started deep into Nyke's eyes with a fierce look that began to slowly soften.[break][break]
"I...I." The mans tumbled over his words unsure of what to say, or even if he should say it.[break][break]
"Its okay man, just let it out. I won't judge you I promise." Nyke was sincere as he stood slowly looking to the man who's arms dropped to his side still holding the ball of snow.[break][break]
"Christmas was always a shit day for me." His solemn statement brought sorrow to Nyke's heart.[break][break]
"My family grew up poor so I never got the gifts I wanted if any at all. It sucked so bad, being a kid and wanting things but not getting anything. Being bullied each year for being poor. I vowed at a young age to make everyone feel my pain. I guess I lost sight myself along the way." Nyke placed a hand on the man's shoulder looking him in the eyes sincerely.[break][break]
"You have to heal mi amigo. You can't keep spreading this hate and sorrow. You have to heal your inner child and finally let yourself enjoy the holidays. Buy all the things you would of loved as a kid and let your inner child feel and cry and be better. I promise you'll have fun." Nyke was surprised at first but his arms wrapped around the man and began patting his back. In the end they parted ways, Nyke got the mans contact information for the future. He was glad to have someone leave his presence having more holiday cheer. His screen popped up alerting him to the completion of his mission, Nyke could only smile as he began texting Rory.[break][break]

It hadn't been enough though, the cheer that began to invigorate in the man was only the start. He could see it thought, he was beginning to have fun. His beast summoning had timed out but that wouldn't stop the man from attempting to pelt them with snowballs as they ran away from him. His smile grew bigger and bigger. Nyke gave a gentle shove to Rory attempting to coral him in a different direction. "Lets split up!" He said as he turned the opposite direction.[break][break]
He'd let the man chase him down, the supposed holiday 'villain' finding glee in attempting to ruin his winter joy. "Oh come on you can't hate the holidays that much."[break][break]
Nyke turned facing the mad snow wielding man. A fierce look over came both of them as the man reached down to form another snowball. Nyke did the same, their chilled Mexican standoff played out slowly. If this was a movie it would surely zoom in on both of their faces. As the drop of a dime a crowded cheered and they both let their snow fly. Nyke was hit his snowball barely missing the man hitting near his foot. The man approached slowly a smug look on his face. "Close but no dice. I must commend you, you've been a formidable opponent." Holding up another snowball he rose it above his head ready to strike Nyke.

Nyke was similar to Evey in the respect that if left up to him he would rather stay at home and lock himself in his room like always. Playing games was his go to, especially something after something as tragic as being caught in a mass shooting and surviving. But the world was different, he couldn't lock himself away anymore. So he'd use his skills at gaming to survive in this new world. He adjusted well enough, better than most. He even helped his mom and dad gain some levels and instruct them on the best way to go about things. They all had to survive after all. [break][break]
Stone looked up to Nyke as they walked awaiting his silent instruction. It was clear someone had taken the time to train this dog only to abandon it. He seemed nervous and reserved, especially for a breed as excitable as a Pitbull. Nyke was happy to guide the anxiety riddled pup along. His eyes glanced up to Evey as she explained her plight about conspiracy theories. He loved this icebreaker, it let him figure out a few things about people. How they responded to weird questions. If they could think outside the box and have a bit of fun. "Aww you mean like big brother, facial recognition and all of that. No I def believed that as well. They probably have some sort of seeker class now to do all the things their computer does. As for me I had more than one but I guess my biggest one is the whole area 51 thing. I know the government was hiding a lot of stuff from us. I mean it only makes since, you wouldn't tell your child all of the problems within a household, right?"[break][break]
