Hana was slightly startled, but wasn't nearly as surprised as last time. She'd almost been expecting it...and it wasn't a creepy text message this time either. "Oh! Hey!" The teen gave him a friendly wave once she'd turned towards him, glancing at the system popup to formally accept the party invitation as she moved to meet him.

"How've you been, Mr. Try?" Hana bobbed a hasty bow before looking over the dilapidated environment with him. "I don't know. There was lots of other interesting stuff that wasn't the files we were looking for. Maybe we could grab some of that for ourselves? If we find any items we can't identify, I might know someone that can help with that!" She seemed excited by the prospect.

"Fighting it? Hmm, it was a D Rank mission, so we'd probably be okay..." They could always just run away again, but that would be disappointing. "System says this is a Medium Risk area, too." Not great, but not terrible.

"Anyone else? Well, I put out an open notice through the system that we'd be searching the area, if anyone wanted to join us. I only invited you in particular, though, Mr. Try!" She beamed a friendly smile at him. "Did you figure out how your class works yet? You said you were having problems with it before."

Hana lined up the two goblins between herself and where Ollie was floating, giving him an excited wave with her free hand as he complimented her. She wasn't quite sure what he'd meant until a system popup appeared in front of her, notifying her of the upgraded stat. "Oh, wow...this might be overkill then."

Still, she'd rather do too much damage than too little. Hana held her guitar to the side as she accessed her inventory, a mage's wooden staff appearing in her grip. A large, red, glimmering orb was nestled in the weapon's crook. "Alright, it says all I have to do is say explosion!" She pointed it towards the pair of enemies...giving it a few shakes as nothing seems to happen. By now, her original target had righted itself and was looking her way, alerting the other goblin to what she was doing.

"Why isn't it working?" The musician glanced at another system popup, checking the item's description again. "...it's in all caps. Does that seriously make a difference?" Hana grumbled. It would be just like Earth-chan, though. She sighed, before taking a deep breath. "EXPLOSION!"

The red orb shone brightly, before a ball of fire swelled into existence, growing several feet wide as it rocketed towards the pair of goblins. They - and Ollie - had just a moment to realize what was happening, before a fiery eruption engulphed both of the creatures.

Hopefully Ollie was quick enough to move out of the way. The poor wall didn't have a chance, though, as the staff's PWR Rank +1 damage on top of Ollie's boost meant the fireball was dealing A Rank damage, far above what the teen could usually accomplish on her own.

Hana started to reply to Olliver's warning, but all that come out was a shriek as she tightened her grip, pressing her face against his chest and shoulder to shield it from the rushing wind, glasses knocked all askew. Once he landed, she eagerly put her feet back on the ground, stumbling and swaying a few steps away. She needed a few moments to catch her breath and straighten her glasses, panting and giving a wobbly thumbs-up as her only reply for the moment, before placing both hands to her knees as she briefly bent over double, slowly recovering.

The goblins were screaming. Hana straightened up, summoning her guitar again, glancing around just in time to spot Ollie fire something golden towards the enemy. She'd only actually been in combat once before, and she'd spent most of her time hiding. That didn't seem like it'd work right now! Time to concentrate and remember how all of these abilities worked.

First Shock and Awe should lower the goblins' MAGI to almost nothing, although she didn't think they'd be casting any magic. Similarly, Ollie would find his PWR raised, but that didn't seem to be his strong suit either.

Next, the system helpfully notified her of the goblin's speed buff, as it started to rush towards her. "No so fast! Like, literally!" Her Quick-Change tool came into effect, turning the buff into a debuff, sending the creature into slow motion as its tiny brain struggled to comprehend what had happend.

Now she had plenty of time to counter its attack with one of her own. Strumming a chord on her guitar, a ghostly purple copy half-emerged from the instrument to menacingly float nearby, echoing and amplifying the sound. The goblin was sent flying a good fifteen feet, crashing into the building it'd been attempting to break into moments earlier.

"Yes...it actually worked!" Hana pumped her fist as the ethereal instrument vanished. "Can you, like, group them together and I can try to blow them both up?" She shouted up at Ollie, unsure if he could hear her, although she did have a powerfully trained voice. For now, she attempted to maneuver sideways to line the two creatures up between her and Ollie

Hana was still waiting for the growth spurt she'd been promised, so she'd hoped for a brief moment that she'd gotten taller, before realizing what Ollie meant. At least her other three sizes were respectable! She'd always exercised enough to manage her weight as well, even before being gifted with unnatural stamina and tasked with fighting monsters and everything.

"I think anyone that made it through their tutorial has that potential...that was the whole point, right?" Of course, there were plenty of people content to ignore their abilities and focus on surviving and living as normally as possible. "But thanks...I'll keep trying my best!" She gave him a quick bob of a bow in response.

"My parents would say I played too many video games before, but it really feels like I didn't play enough to prepare me for all of this." Hana gestured around them, at both of them, and even at her guitar. Her point was somewhat proved as the special effects appeared around Ollie, earning a yelp of surprise from the teen.

"Wh-wh-what!?" She latched on tight, guitar disappearing, while a blush appeared. At least Hana only weighed about 90 pounds! "Y-you could've given a little more warning that you can fly! Because I can't!" Besides the teleportation, she hadn't picked up any movement abilities so far. Or anything defensive that could protect her from a fall.

Hana had always felt bad about abandoning this area so quickly last time, using her escape ability as soon as they'd accomplished their mission. It really felt like they could've found more loot and items of interest if they'd stuck around. Maybe earned a bigger reward if they'd actually fought whatever had been chasing them. She wasn't even sure it was the golem they'd been warned about, as they'd never gotten a good look.

So, with a few more levels, not to mention new abilities and equipment, Hana had decided to invite her partner from that mission along to take another look. Maybe they got lucky and ran into it again and got rewarded for defeating it. Or maybe they just grabbed some interesting stuff to take home. And, if things looked bad, they could always run away again.

The building they'd infiltrated before had a few new holes in the walls since last time. It looked like some of the upper floors had collapsed downward at some point too. The stairwell they'd used last time was probably completely destroyed as well, so they'd have to find another set of stairs if they wanted to head up again.

For now, Hana just stood outside, waiting for her invitee to arrive. She'd have to ask him if he wanted to look inside here again, or start searching somewhere else.

She gestured to the side, summoning a guitar into one hand that she quickly adjusted into a proper playing position. It seemed normal enough at the moment, though. "Oh, is your pet not for, like, fighting with?" She'd assumed it was there to protect him, if he was supposed to be some sort of merchant. "Uh, sure? Is it teleporting? I can do that, but only back to a Safe Zone."

"If I ever got armor or clothing as a drop, it'd probably have Earth-chan's face all over it or something." Hana shuddered at the thought. "Huh? Oh, yeah. Well, I was trying to be." She smiled sheepishly. "Music was kinda my thing, before all of this. I haven't really had much time for it, with all the missions and monsters and everything." She was sure Summer knew how it was, so no need to get too deep into that.

"My dad had me in a few commercials, and a couple of episodes of TV shows, but nothing major. My channel was finally getting good views, back when that was a thing. I was opening for...someone, and made it through my set, but right as they were wrapping up the show everything went crazy." Hana squatted down for a few moments to pet one of the dogs, needing the slight distraction.

"...I've still got my guitar at least. Earth-chan did something to it to make it work without an amp. Gave me a microphone after that, too." She looked thoughtful. "...my tutorial involved writing a song, too...so I guess Earth-chan wants me to keep making music." Hana trailed off, walking silently for a bit, until they turned a corner and the park came into view. Then she yelped as the trio of pups she was wrangling excitedly dragged her forward.

She just nodded and gave an 'mmhmm' to let him know she'd heard him, going quiet to let her traveling companion relax. Hana took the opportunity to check her mirrors to make sure the giant serpent was still dutifully following along. Otherwise the trip back was uneventful, although a few new people had appeared on the street to point and stare at the truck and the creature following it.

Back where they'd started, Hana parked the truck and gave Ollie a gentle poke after killing the engine. All that was left was to hand over the boxes (of boxes) and collect their points!

Hana smiled at the compliments, and was about to turn off the truck and slide outside to assist when Ollie announced he would handle it. Hana was down to two small dogs for one arm and a single large dog for the other, now that Summer had grabbed another leash. She could handle this! "Um, thanks! I've had to reuse a lot of stuff from my last show..." It wasn't exactly easy to go shopping anymore, unless you wanted to buy armor or something.

"Sure Summer. And that sounds convenient, at least." It certainly seemed like something Earth-chan would do. "Oh, and my hair's naturally blonde. A lot of people thought I dyed it, but..." Hana let the pups she was handling drag her a bit closer to Summer. "It's just the same color as my mom's hair." Anyone that knew who her mom was realized that easily enough, but enough of her followers had no clue that she was asked about it fairly frequently.

Hana was happy enough to follow along towards the park, mostly busy taking in the scenery and watching the pups enjoy their time out and about. Any mission where they didn't have to worry about monsters randomly attacking was a nice change of pace for Hana as well. "Have you ever been to London before, Summer? I mean, before everything. I was too young to run around on my own last time I was here."

She wasn't quite sure how he was reacting to this in return, with that mask in the way. Plenty of people had armor and stuff now, which would've been fine on the mission she'd been imagining, but didn't really fit in with the setting she'd stumbled into.

"I'm too young to drink, too!" Even if there weren't really people enforcing that sort of thing anymore. And she still had a half dozen liquor bottles in her inventory.

She bobbed another half-bow, one hand still on the door, in response to his introduction. "I'm Hana. I, uh, didn't get a codename or anything." There was nowhere to @ her on anymore either, so she didn't even have 'HanaSings' to fall back on. For now, she stayed at the door to the room, obviously not comfortable actually committing to this activity, but too polite to simply run off without properly settling the misunderstanding.
