𖣓 Barbara watches intently as Panya grabs some kind of book from within her sarcophagus and explains the functions of it, although she doesn't entirely understand how exactly it works. But then, when was the last time that magic had an explanation beyond "this is simply how the world works". And it seems that would be how this particular atlas works as well; magic, after all, required no explanation. It also seems that Panya is more aware of Fairy King Oberon than she was, but that suited her just fine. Most of what she knows about fairies are from more modern media, although she could swear she'd heard the name before. Maybe all the way back in high school? Something involving Shakespeare? It just wasn't coming together in her head. All she knows is that she doesn't need to know about it, as long as she minded her manners.
It seems that Panya's gift was indeed quite helpful for an organization like SIGMA, and she felt a little inadequate in not bringing anything more than herself. Regardless, it seems both of them are being welcomed into the organization, and she lets out a relieved sigh as she and Panya, as well as the others, are all dismissed. Barbara, as always, gives him a sharp salute before picking up her Runemark to lay across her shoulders, pointed away from other people. Although she knows the gun can't fire without her direct will to do so, as the gun functions unlike the weaponry in real life, training died last, it seems. New Blood This was the place right? Clyde was pretty sure anyways, looking over at Aleya he let go of her hand long enough to open the door and let her through before he followed her in. Immediately retaking her left hand in his right and moving them through the venue. Having to try and spot what was going on before looking down at Aleya, "So who is it exactly we're looking for again Doves? It was someone named Enigma right? Is this really a recruitment job?"
A chuckle came from the pale looking blonde as she listened to Clyde talk. If she had to guess Clyde was still thinking too old school. Perhaps it was because she was... well revived from Clyde's powers, but she had made peace with being only partially alive again. Borrowed time made you truly appreciate life, "Yes Dearest, this is in fact the job we were looking for. Remember I told you the job was recruitment in general. We're basically looking for HR jobs, except more out to the field of things. More your speed, but I think I'll adjust as long as it means we get to stay together."
Sappy. She was buttering him up and he could really tell. It was working though, and looking around the only thing that seemed to draw him in was the appearance of a girl carrying a sarcophagus far too big for it to be normal, and a sharp looking older women next to a with whom they were talking.

Clyde and AleyaEnigma observed the two new arrivals closely, their presence a mix of energy and composure. The taller man with a broad grin seemed at ease, while the woman beside him carried herself with a composed grace that suggested she was the one steering the conversation. The man’s informal tone was a shift from the usual encounters, but Enigma was used to a variety of personalities in Sigma. He listened patiently before speaking, his voice calm yet purposeful.
“Recruiters, you say?” Enigma’s voice carried just enough curiosity to draw them in further. “If you’re here for the Outreach and Public Relations Department, you’re standing at the gateway to a key part of Sigma’s operations. Managing our public image and building relationships is just as important as fieldwork.”
His masked gaze shifted between the two. “Sigma’s credibility, our partnerships, and how the world views us—these are responsibilities that extend far beyond recruitment. It’s about ensuring we’re trusted, seen as reliable, and known for our expertise.”Enigma gestured slightly toward the broader scene around them. "This department plays a vital role in keeping a steady flow of cases, collaborations, and opportunities coming our way. Public relations isn’t just about talking; it’s about building real connections."

thread name If it was connection that he wanted then they were perfect for that. Clyde would follow Enigma's gesturing, his wide smile never leaving his face as he nodded along. Extending a hand out to shake with his would be employer Clyde would speak up again, "Then your looking at the best there is. Nothings more reliable then a man who will take a bullet to protect those around him, and a woman who would give her heart, literally for the record, to save said man. Not sure about now, but I definitely wasn't bullet proof before this whole system. If reliable is what you need I have it, if its blood you need I'll pour it, simple as."
Aleya would look over at Clyde as he so openly revealed, or rather hinted at the truth of how the two were connected before she would simply sigh and shake her head, "Clyde your being dramatic right now dear. As far as things go, both of us were medical workers before... well... long before the system came along. Clyde's adjusting a bit better to this then I, but I guess that comes with being a 'Class' rather then a 'Person'. If it means we can help people and make the world just a little bit safer then we're both willing to do it, and even if I weren't I know my fiancé is more then committed to helping others that he'll run off with or without me to do it. Which is why I found this job opening for us both."
It wasn't exactly an actual argument for them, but Aleya was sure she could get Clyde the job by just pumping him up a bit.
