𖣓Barbara scoffs as her attack is once more evaded by the bird, despite its nose-first dive towards the shorter pink-haired girl. While this might mean that the girl wasn't harmed by the attack made against it, it also annoyed her that her shots seemed to be for nothing almost every time, and she decides that the bird is no longer worth her attention, except where she can get a shot off on the flying nuisance in order to dissuade it from continuing its own assault. A clock also appears in the corner of her vision, showing her that her Two-Shot Special is on cooldown now, meaning she's not going to be able to use it until the countdown is over. This was really getting annoying for her, but there's not much she can do about it; if they keep splitting their attention among every target, they're going to end up losing in a battle of attrition.
She can see through her glyphsight that there isn't going to be much that she can do to get through the pillbug's barrier, but it's still pointless to conserve her ammo when she can see in her menu that her arquebus actually has an infinite supply of ammunition. What she wouldn't have given for unlimited ammo back in the real world; perhaps it was because of the arquebus's magic that she could continue firing no matter what. Regardless, she decides she might as well shoot twice at the barrier, using a Shredder rune shot followed by a normal shot once more. She's not sure if it will be effective against the barrier, but a girl can hope. That's when one of the other men, the one that had been calling shots earlier, pointed out that they were getting nowhere by splitting the focus of their attacks to the other targets instead of attacking a singular target, and the purple-haired soldier quickly agrees.
"Then we attack the big guy!"
Even as she says this, she looks up to keep track of the bird; she knows that the giant raven can still attack from above, and at range, and her own silver bullets are likely the only things that are going to keep it from interrupting their own attacks; her hands are automatically moving to reload her arquebus as she follows the black shape against the blue of the sky, her glyphsight tracking its movements across the blue expanse. coded by pinn @ thq {Spoiler} PASSIVE: Spellsight Your eyes act as a runic conduit for your abilities. 𖣓Barbara smirks a little when she sees the creature seem to disappear, clearly feeling accomplished in her job at taking out the creature that had mostly just been a mass of bats with a scythe. She quickly, almost as if by reflex, reloads the arquebus, and although her motions are practiced, she surprises herself in the way that her hands move automatically to reload the breech-loading rifle with a shot and powder. She'd never even handled an antique firearm before, so her ability to do so now was actually a bit stunning for her. She finishes her reloading and puts the arquebus away, thinking their job is finished as she smiles at the compliment from the redhead.
"Thanks babe. But yeah, the tutorial said something about crossing the bridge, so that's probably the only way to win? Let's get going."
It was pretty strange that the blonde didn't say a single word to either of them, and Barbara actually wonders if she might be mute, but now that the tutorial seems to be over, it shouldn't matter much. She turns and starts jogging across the bridge, but she's still surprised that her right leg isn't limping anymore, and she wonders what exactly had caused an injury she was told would be making her limp for the rest of her life to become healed. Did it have something to do with The Light? Nothing was making sense for her, but she could deal with it later, once they had crossed the bridge and the tutorial was over. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara had wondered at first what his interest in her runic rounds was about, but she can see from both of his questions that his interest in them must be somewhat personal, on some level. It's about the extent of how well she can read people, and she'd never really needed more than that. She continues to hold her arquebus by the barrel with the stock resting on the same shoulder; she'd have never carried a rifle the same way where she'd come from, but then this felt the most natural way to carry it. After a few moments of considering what she actually knows, she finally answers his questions.
"I didn't used to know runes, but ever since I've come... here... I've been able to read them pretty well, as though I'd grown up with that knowledge. The runes inscribed on the silver rounds are actual runes, and they carry actual power."
This was an admission she'd made to nobody else. In the real world, she had never known or even shown much interest in any kind of runic magic. She'd served with someone who had apparently actually believed in and worshiped Thor Odinsson, but although she had respected his belief system, she didn't believe in a word of it. Maybe Earth-chan had picked that memory of the fellow soldier from her memory and added it to her knowledge of firearms? Who knew. But she probably wouldn't explain this much to a stranger, even if he was quite respectful. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara smirks a little bit at the ranting from her newfound friend about the fact that one needed to purchase both a license and a firearm in order to make use of it. She hadn't disclosed that she actually had a coupon for half-off on a firearms license, and she decided she'd just keep that to herself for the time being, as she wouldn't want him to curse at the unfairness of it if he were to find out she'd gotten it from picking out the mystery box option when she'd done one of her first level up sessions. He might think she was some kind of a good luck charm.
She's a bit surprised when he suddenly gets up from where he'd been resting earlier in order to offer her a hand to get up with. Despite his complaining and his gruff attitude, he certainly acted like a proper gentleman. Not that Barbara was the kind of woman to get caught up in that sort of thing, but she could still appreciate that he was a good person. While she would normally have ignored the hand up, Barbara instead chooses to accept the hand and uncrosses her legs to stand up again. Once on her feet, she gestures ahead and gives him a smile.
"Thank you. My name is Barbara. What do you want to know about the runic rounds?"
She hoped she'd be able to answer his questions... She had a few of her own, but Barbara didn't have the benefit of getting answers from this Earth-chan person about very much, so she'd have to hope her rather simple answers would help. The purple-haired soldier didn't really know a lot about magic beyond what little media she'd been exposed to, which was mostly limited to Harry Potter novels, but this magic for her rounds seemed to have absolutely nothing to do with wands, Latinese words, or any swish and flick. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓The purple-haired woman manages to suppress a laugh when she can see that she's surprised the stranger with her comment made in reply to his own statement directed at nobody. When the shock wears off, he seems to have noticed her weapon with an appraising eye, and she smirks when he asks if she'd bought it around there, though she shakes her head as she answers his question.
"Nah. This weapon is part of my class, so I got it for free. Can't fire my runic rounds with it otherwise."
He piques her interest much more when he states that he knows somebody that could help her with attaching the scope to her arquebus for her, and she raises an eyebrow at him at the suggestion. Then she shrugs and nods at the offer. After all, it's not something she could ever do. It would be different if this rifle was one of the more modern ones she'd become accustomed to in the deserts of Arabia, where she only now realizes she'd spent almost half of her life. The revelation of that fact is a bit of a surprise for her, but she just barely manages to hide it. It was a depressing thought, made somewhat worse at the realization that she'd spent most of the rest of her time out of the Arab nations looking for revenge for her old man. She shuts those thoughts down for the moment. They didn't help her in this situation, and they were more of a distraction than a help.
"Yeah, sure. Where exactly is the shop?"
Barbara starts to uncross her legs in order to get up off the bench, then realizes that he'd only just sat down, and that it would be rude to have him get up to walk again. She pretends to have just been readjusting her legs, crossing the other leg back over the one that had formerly been on top. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara herself has come to Unison Central, having finally leveled up and, not knowing much about what to pick for her first time leveling up, had gone with something of a lootbox option. Now she'd received a few objects, a few of them pretty great, and even a modern handgun, although since she had been warned in the menus about using a handgun without the appropriate firearms license, she'd decided not to bring it out at all until she'd had a look at the firearms license itself and how much that cost, including with her coupon. For now, though, she was trying to find somebody to attach the scope to her Runemark, with the hopes of making her class weapon even better than it already was.
So far, she'd had no luck in Unison Central, and was just about lost in the mercantile district when she finally finds a spot to sit down, a nice little rest area for shoppers to rest their tired feet, in the hopes that they would spend even longer in the shopping center and therefore be more likely to just buy something, even if only from the food court. It doesn't take long before a stranger comes and sits at a bench nearby, and Barbara crosses one leg over another while she looks him over. Barbara was at least passable at judging people's mood by their appearance, and as if on cue, the stranger remarks aloud how he's disappointed and exasperated with the current state of the shopping center. The purple-haired woman smirks a bit at the statement made in the form of a question, then wonders herself at the strange shop closures. Could it have something to do with the Ender Island attack? Perhaps the people of Unison Central didn't feel safe just yet. If an island wasn't safe from a deadly invasion, what was really going to protect Unison Central? While she thinks about this, she spins the silver scope around in her left hand while her right was carefully cradling the arquebus barrel-down. After all, how else was she going to attach the scope without having the rifle with her?
"Yeah, it is kinda weird, right? It's so strangely quiet today."
She pauses in her spinning of the silver scope, setting it down next to her for a moment in order to pull the eye protection she was using for sunglasses off her face; with the yellow lenses, they thankfully weren't too dark for wearing indoors, but she still wanted a good look at this stranger. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara sees no reason to hide which guild she'd joined, so she answers truthfully when Faith asks her what guild she'd joined. After all, the two of them had also fought alongside one another against a common foe, so it wasn't like Faith couldn't be trusted with knowing about this guild. The follow-up question makes her think that perhaps Faith might be looking to join some other guilds as well, but she thinks Faith might even be a good fit for SIGMA.
"I joined the Spectral Investigations Guild of Mysteriously Anomalous. They call it SIGMA, for short. Ya get used to acronyms where I'm from. I chose to join them because they were hirin', and it seems like a smart idea to go with a group instead of stickin' your head up all alone... Plus, they seem like the guild that's most likely to figure out what the hell's goin' on."
She stays silent on the statement about leveling up, as that wasn't quite the "experience" she was talking about, moreso looking to see what qualified as a threat and how to fight them in this strange new world. In fact, Barbara hadn't yet leveled up at all, and hadn't much clue about what that meant or how to do it. In her very short experience with games, the "store" or "shop" option was often relegated to whales, people who spent huge amounts of cash on a "free" game in order to get ahead, so she'd skipped out on that option in her menus entirely. So she blinks behind her yellow-lensed eye protection when Faith brings up how quickly and how high other people seemed to be leveling up. She didn't really have much to add to that, as it wasn't something she'd paid attention to. She might have to look through her menus to see how leveling up worked, perhaps after this mission.
"Well, not much is kind of a good thing. 'N you seemed to be doin' just fine in that fight on Ender Island."
Barbara can't help but to smirk a little when Faith asks her if she'd done something like this before, although it wasn't entirely mirthful. Maybe just a little bit sad, too, as she remembers the ambush she'd been hit by back in the middle east, in some country she couldn't remember the name of. It could have been one of the -stan countries or it could have been Kuwait. That just hadn't mattered to her as much as what had caused her to walk with a limp for the last decade when she was on earth.
"Yeah, I guess you could say I've done this before. Back on the real earth, anyways. Hey, get a move on, quit slackin'!"
The last sentence, she's directed at some teen that looked as though he was slacking off a bit, and starting to meander a little from the caravan, but with her free hand being used to point at him and the firm tone Barbara takes, he's quick to return to the side of the caravan, and the purple-haired woman scoffs a bit. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara found herself being answered almost directly as the sky darkens, and the shrieking bats draw her attention to the strange being gathering with the bats. If anything was going to be called "a mass" then this being was it. She frowns as it draws a sickle from seemingly nowhere, but she raises her arquebus to her shoulder, preparing to shoot it before the other two girls move past her towards the strange thing. One of them, the blonde, throws some kind of vial at the Mass, causing the glass to shatter and bringing the bats into her field of sunflowers that had sprouted thorns, causing the bats to become shredded apart, though that didn't really stop the larger creature. The redhead, who also hadn't bothered speaking to her, ran into the field of sunflowers herself, getting hurt by the thorns as well before using her sword to halt the advance of the sickle and give it a counterattack. So much for escaping the Mass, now it seemed they were just going to have to fight it.
"Aw, hell. This better be worth it."
Remembering what she had seen of her own class abilities, she remembers reading about two of the runes, one of them being something that would cause her next shot to deal additional damage, and another being some kind of explosion attack, like a shrapnel grenade. She loads her arquebus with two round balls and then fires them one after another. She's fairly certain that's not really how even an arquebus works, but she's not going to second-guess it; the first she fires is the Shredder runic round, hoping to weaken the creature against her other runic round, this one being the Shrapnel variation. She notices a clock counter show up in the corner of her eye, but she ignores it for now so she can focus on giving one last normal shot against the strange being, hoping that her last round will do the mopping up of anything left of the strange creature. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓The older woman is actually surprised to see that this woman named Faith ended up being the same one that she'd met, or at least fought alongside, the Ender Island situation. She turns her head and, in a rather unladylike fashion, spits out her gum, half with surprise and half with the desire to speak more clearly. She'd thought she'd be going on this mission with a total stranger, but it turns out that this was someone she'd had the pleasure of fighting next to before. Now that her mouth is clear, she can speak much more professionally, and she gives the other woman a bit of a similarly cheeky smile.
"Fancy seeing you here, too. As for coming out here, well... a job's a job, and pay is pay. I've been pretty good, just recently joined a guild. I'm gonna be part of the security details for their jobs, too, but for now, I figure getting experience with the missions and quests system would be useful."
Calling them "quests" still felt odd to her, like a video game. She'd played some of them, but had never really engrossed herself into the world of gaming, so she was a bit behind on the concepts of this new digitized world around her. But when one is in Rome, one does as the Romans do. At least with the two of them working together once again, they would likely have enough knowledge about each others' abilities and style of combat that they wouldn't get in each other's way. That would be very helpful for this mission. But now it was her turn to make some small talk.
"How about you? Anything new with you since our little 'playdate' with Jeff?"
She watches with firm eyes as the caravan begins to move, and she follows after it, waving her free hand at shoulder height so Faith could understand that Barbara wants to talk while they walk, and isn't dismissing the conversation. Barbara knows from experience that guard duty, while it does require one's focus and attention, can also get very, very boring if you and your fellow watchman don't have anything to talk about. She didn't think an E-rank mission would be particularly dangerous in any case, and two soldiers taking on the mission might actually be overkill, but they'd get experience for doing the job, and pay besides. Her glyphsight eyes scan across the horizon and focus in on most of the shadowy areas; she knows from her own class summary that her eyes are particularly good for catching things that are sneaking around, but she hadn't had a chance to try it out until now. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara curls her upper lip in a sneer as the myriad attacks on the bird seem to have missed, leaving it unharmed by their attacks thanks to its ability to engage in movements in the third dimension. To say that the mercenary was disappointed in the bird's ability to attack and then immediately move was an understatement.
"Damned flying rotted..."
It seemed her attack on the bug had also been less than effective, although with others coming in to help and attack its chain in order to stop its attack on one of their own, they're at least able to avoid losing one of their fighters. Barbara is reloading almost as if by rote, mostly trying to keep her eye on the bird. Its ability to fly was far more dangerous than the summoner and his insect friend, since that would allow it to attack rapidly and then skirt away from a counterattack. Barbara would be forced to wait for the bird to commit to an attack and then take it out when it's too late for the bird to stop. It wouldn't be easy. Although she'd led shots before when she'd needed to, she usually led along targets that couldn't really stop on a dime. The strange kid in what looked like a basketball jersey was odd, but after he falls to the ground, she sees him getting back up; in her mind, if he's okay enough to stand, he might as well not be hurt. Her attention returns to Kaw as it's starting to come back down, and she raises her arquebus straight up, having to take a laying position so as to completely negate the recoil of her weapon as she aims right up at it; one leg lifted up and the other curled next to it for stability.
"Eat this, you nasty fuck-"
Barbara loads a second shot in with the first, then fires both up at the bird while it's in the middle of its dive-bomb towards Faith, ensuring that it will have to either call off the attack or risk getting itself killed by both shots. It's a bit of an annoyance that she knows she won't be able to let off a twin shot again for the length of the cooldown, but she assumes that it was worth it to try and take out the bird before it got off another one of its attacks, and the summoner seemed quite focused on this pink-haired stranger herself. If he was looking to take her out first and foremost, then she figured her mission would involve protecting the girl, especially since she seemed to have some helpful abilities of her own.
"And one for the road!"
She turns her attention back towards the summoner now, after shooting twice at the bird and focusing in on the giant of a man and his bug as she focuses her glyphsight onto him and the basketball player rushing to meet one another in combat. The backflip the stranger does along with the gesture to point out the bug gives Barbara a clear target, which she hadn't had before he leaped. Now she breathes another rune onto her third silver round, before she fires off one more round at the pillbug, hoping her attack would at least do some damage to it, hoping to use the round's rupturing to slash at the giant brute as well. coded by pinn @ thq {Spoiler} PASSIVE: Spellsight Your eyes act as a runic conduit for your abilities. 𖣓Barbara frowns a bit as she watches the strange giant of a man make fun of the entire group of them, but she's more focused on the actions his strange creatures are taking, as well as himself. Her strange eyes catch sight of the bug coming right at Faith, but there's not much she can do to help her; the bird coming right at them is likely the more pressing issue. She catches that he was able to summon using one of his abilities, which isn't entirely helpful except to let her know that he's able to summon more creatures than normal.
Her focus shifts to the bird's movements, leaping back as it opens its wings, and her eyes feed her the information of the bird's abilities. Kaw was certainly going to be a problem if it continued to remain airborne. On Hell's Wings was going to really cause a lot of damage to the lot of them if it was allowed to continue. But she can see that Dirk himself is leaping into the fray to attack the bird of his own accord, and she can see how his abilities seem to feed into one another to turn his leaping attack at the bird quite powerful in comparison to what she assumes must be a similar level to herself. With his body between herself and the bird, however, it afforded her enough blocking to avoid being hit directly by any of the feathers, and she aims her Runemark at the bird to shoot one of her infinite silver shots at the bird over Dirk's shoulder.
Hopefully, with both of them attacking the bird, it would either take too much damage to stick around, or it might even die; her attention shifts back to the bug and the giant; she can see how he's bouncing around, clearly ready for her or someone else to attack him first, and she wonders if it wouldn't be smarter to take out his summons first, instead. To that end, she aims her Runemark at the strangle beetle instead; Crusty was its name, apparently. She focuses her magic into her next shot, blasting the silver ball at the beetle in a burst of magic; she hopes the Gravity Rune engraved in her runic round would cause it to drop its speed, hopefully making it slow enough that Faith would be able to dodge it, if she needs to.

Anyone in the [High Gravity] that has [PWR] equal to or lower than the Praetor's [VIT] has their [SPD] reduced by 1 Rank for as long as they stay within the area.--Using Dirk as a human shield (sorry vapes), hopes to use the class Runemark shot on Kaw, aiming around Dirk himself --Using Gravity Rune to hit Crusty with the Debuff to its SPD stat as it approaches Faith

𖣓Barbara watches intently as Panya grabs some kind of book from within her sarcophagus and explains the functions of it, although she doesn't entirely understand how exactly it works. But then, when was the last time that magic had an explanation beyond "this is simply how the world works". And it seems that would be how this particular atlas works as well; magic, after all, required no explanation. It also seems that Panya is more aware of Fairy King Oberon than she was, but that suited her just fine. Most of what she knows about fairies are from more modern media, although she could swear she'd heard the name before. Maybe all the way back in high school? Something involving Shakespeare? It just wasn't coming together in her head. All she knows is that she doesn't need to know about it, as long as she minded her manners.
It seems that Panya's gift was indeed quite helpful for an organization like SIGMA, and she felt a little inadequate in not bringing anything more than herself. Regardless, it seems both of them are being welcomed into the organization, and she lets out a relieved sigh as she and Panya, as well as the others, are all dismissed. Barbara, as always, gives him a sharp salute before picking up her Runemark to lay across her shoulders, pointed away from other people. Although she knows the gun can't fire without her direct will to do so, as the gun functions unlike the weaponry in real life, training died last, it seems. She throws Panya a wink before leaving the room, seemingly ready to see what else the guild had to offer in terms of the building's amenities. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓Barbara sighs as she pulls some now white and flavorless chewing gum from her mouth, tossing it to the ground and then planting her boot on it to crush the wad into the dirt underfoot. Quitting cigarettes had been difficult, but after she'd seen how a different kind of addiction had completely ruined her father, she no longer had any desire to continue her use of nicotine. Granted, now she felt a desire to put chewing gum in her mouth nearly as often as when she'd been smoking, and she'd ruminated on more than one occasion on the idea that perhaps she had traded in a harmful addiction for one that was just more palatable. But these were questions of philosophy, and a philosopher Barbara was not.
Indeed, at the moment, she was currently a guardswoman for a particular caravan of tradesmen headed through the countryside to one of the smaller settlements out in the boonies. Barbara had her arquebus, Runemark, draped over her right shoulder, with her same hand gripping the buttstock near the hunter's grip, just behind the trigger. Granted, the firearm wouldn't fire with none of its special silver ball, and certainly none of the black powder tamped down into the barrel, so at this exact moment, Runemark was harmless. Her fit figure is hidden under a set of coveralls, similar to the clothing she'd worn when she'd been trying to raid the compound of the cartel leader ultimately responsible for the loss of her father. Granted, Earth-chan had seen fit to rid her clothing of all the viscera that had accumulated on her during that raid. She even had the eye protection, with its yellow lenses now being used like sunglasses, as well as protection over her glyphsight eyes and the bridge of her nose. Her purple hair is pulled up into a high ponytail, keeping her locks from getting in her way.
Technically, this job had nothing to do with her guild duties, but she wanted some extra work, and as the guild wasn't currently looking to make use of her for a particular job at the moment, she'd thought that escorting a caravan should be a fairly easy and simple job; while the beasts here were somewhat dangerous, they were no Mujahidin. Almost automatically, the thought of those guerrilla fighters that had ambushed her and her own convoy caused her to reach her free hand down to her left leg, but Earth-chan had done something else that not even the medics, doctors, and surgeons she'd seen could; her leg wasn't even sore, and the scars on her leg were gone now. She didn't even have that slight limp anymore.
Regardless, she refocuses on the job at hand, as she was expecting another woman to join her on this mission, someone by the name of Faith. She thought it was a pretty strange name, but then the name of "Barbara" probably sounded like some old lady to most people these days. Said Barbara pulls another stick of gum from a pocket, pulling the flattened ribbon from its foil sheathe and stuffing the pink piece of rubbery stuff into her mouth to begin silently chewing, wondering if she'd know who it was when she saw her. coded by pinn @ thq {Spoiler}Mission Name: Supply Escort
Repeatable? Yes
Mission Rank: E
Mission Location: Anywhere
Description: Numerous small communities have been created since the obelisks erection. But in order to sustain them supplies and basic necessities are required, and not everything can be found from the loot of dead monsters. Spontaneous "trade routes" have been established through the less dangerous parts, ensuring the relative safety of merchants and hunters. But these routes are never 100% safe, and many convoys have been destroyed and raided. Merchants have taken to hiring extra protection for those instances where weak mobs strike. In some rare cases these low levelled mobs are accompanied by a stronger beast who co-ordinates their attacks. This is where ranks vary.
Success is determined when the convoy arrives, and merchants are aware that stock loss is inevitable.

𖣓Barbara is surprised initially by the harsh red font of the message, but she's not the type to deny a chance to make use of whatever this new world offers. Without worrying about who might be attacking the Forge, or even what exactly the Forge is, she accepts the special mission; she wasn't the type to deny missions when they were offered, and she needed all the experience she could get from this world. She just had to hope that when she clicked the Y answer that she wasn't getting into a situation too far over her head. Barbara takes a breath, and then punches in her answer to be transported to the Ender Island Forge, just in time to see a tavern get absolutely obliterated by some kind of armored bug. The mercenary can't help but to grimace; she'd never really liked bugs.
Regardless, her eyes are already doing their intended work, giving her information on abilities as they get used, so she unfortunately has to watch as the bug gets launched at another nearby building in order for her to get some additional information. At the very least, any others that show up will want to know this kind of info. For the moment, she mostly tries to stay out of the way until a plan can be formed with anyone else that shows up; Barbara still loads her Runemark with malicious intent, in case the bug or its apparent owner turn their sights on her. She rapidly shoulders the firearm after loading, prepared to make use of what skills she has available, although she doesn't think she'll really be making much use of the new greataxe she seems to find herself with. She'd used knives once or twice as a mercenary, and she was "trained" in bayonet use, but nobody really used those in modern combat. Honestly, the woman didn't think she'd make any use of the greataxe at all. coded by pinn @ thq

𖣓The taller of the two listens intently at first when Enigma begins explaining the history of the organization of SIGMA, but the history lesson starts to run long. She doesn't pay attention to the entire thing, although her mind gives her a giggle signal at the suggestion that they have an alliance with a fairy king. Her first thoughts are of Tinkerbell, although since Enigma actually seems to hold this other person in high regard, she reconsiders letting that giggle escape her mouth. Apparently, this kind of fairy is not the kind that can be killed by simply stating that one does not believe in fairies, nor revived by applause from a crowd.
The other benefits seem quite nice, although it sounds like a few of those bonuses aren't really available until she's had quite a few levels under her. Still, greater benefits at some later point aren't unheard of, even in organizations from the original earth, and sometimes they were worth the wait. At the moment, the offer of protection was honestly enough, considering one of the first things to happen to her was an attack from some kind of strange bat beast. She didn't really need much more than that, and of course working with SIGMA would undoubtedly result in her leveling up enough to get to the upper echelon of benefits. It seemed her mind was made up on taking what was on offer.
"Fairy King, huh? Well, then we'd better be real good guests. I got no more questions, I'm satisfied with the answer I got. Anything else before I go and see to my security division post?"
She hoped her response wasn't too eager, but she didn't much like slow and plodding conversation. She hoped she wasn't making a deal with a devil, but if she was, well, better the devil you know... coded by pinn @ thq
