Aleya's Heart[break][break]
On the eve of his birthday, Christmas Day, an incident saw Clyde shot in the chest multiple times protecting his fiancé Aleya. As he was dying on his hospital bed due to a lack of a donor heart, Aleya offered hers if only to give Clyde a life not cut so short. Unethical as it was the surgery was performed willingly, and Clyde's body accepted the heart as if it was truly meant to be there. A cherished gift given during his birthday, one that he remembers and holds himself tall for. Proud, resilient, and pushing to live a life to show both of them a world that never was meant to be seen alone. Clyde would use that donated heart to live a life that was meant for two.
[break][break]
This upgrades when both Clyde and Aleya gain a Rank A stat, upgrades dependent on stats.

[break][break]
The [Lovesworn Sentinel] functions around the use of the [Vowed Spirit], a unique companion they have. This companion does not count as a summon or pet and despite being distinct from the Sentinel in regards to targeting for abilities, skills, and items, they do not count as an additional party member, though they do benefit from any Synergy that the Sentinel is currently under. The Companion has a separate stat line from the Sentinel, with her stats starting all at 11s. This companion is unable to wear or use normal items however the Sentinel may occasionally gain items with the [Veiled] tag, these items can only be worn or used by Aleya. Aleya to begin with is only able to use 1 [Veiled] item, however for every two ranks of her own [MAGI] above F, she gains an additional item slot, to a maximum of 3. Any items used by Aleya do not count towards thread limits.
[break][break]
Whenever the Sentinel gains a level, Aleya gains stat points that she can freely distribute to her stats. The number of stats she gains is based on Clyde's level:
[break][break]
1-40: +3[break]
41-75: +7[break]
76-88: +11[break]
89-100: +15
[break][break]
The Sentinel and the Spirit are intrinsically tied for one is the carrier of the heart, the other is the heart itself, without one the other cannot live. If either the Sentinel or the Spirit die, the other one also dies immediately regardless of their current [VIT]. However both have completely separate [VIT] pools. To begin with the [Vowed Spirit] has two innate abilities and a basic attack while the [Lovesworn Sentinel] has one innate ability and a basic defense.
[break][break]
Spirit Channel - Burial Vow: Aleya exists as a spirit, able to be seen, move and also be touched as she possesses a strange near-tangible form. Through this she is able to join with a willing target, draping over them like a soft mantle and granting them the [Shrouded] status. While under the [Shrouded] status, Aleya cannot be harmed directly however any damage the [Shrouded] target takes to their [VIT], Aleya also takes that much damage -3 Ranks, ignoring her [DEF]. She cannot use her basic attack in this form but she is able to choose one stat of the [Shrouded] individual and either increase their stat by half of her own or entirely replace that person's stat with her own of the same. She is also able to, once while [Shrouding] them, take up to two status effects, buffs or debuffs from that person and take them onto herself for their remaining duration, one or both of these can be replaced by instead transferring one of those three things from Aleya to the [Shrouded] individual. She can attach herself to a target for 3 rounds after which there is a 3 round cooldown before she can attach to that person again. The [Lovesworn Sentinel] has no time limit for the attachment but still suffers from the cooldown if she leaves his side.
[break][break]
Spirit Channel - Revenant's Strength: By drawing deep on energy only available from the veil beyond death, Aleya is able to massively enhance a person's body at the expense of suffering for it later. This can only be used on a person once per thread, though the [Lovesworn Sentinel] may benefit from a second time and may only be used on a target that Aleya is currently attached to. When activated this increases all of their stats, other than [VIT], by 1 rank for up to two rounds, however once this ends they suffer a penalty of 1 rank to all of their stats, other than [VIT], for double the duration of the buff they received. This energy was not supposed to be used by the living after all.
[break][break]
Sentinel Channel - Brightlord's Barrier: The Sentinel instead draws on the rampant energy of life itself to protect others. Once per post the Sentinel can choose either themselves or an ally and place a glowing barrier around them with a durability equal to the Sentinel's [DEF]-1 Rank. If this barrier doesn't break then it heals the target for the durability it had remaining, the barrier lasts for two rounds and once it ends that person cannot be given another barrier for 3 rounds.
[break][break]
Lastly, once per post as a basic attack Aleya can deal her [MAGI] or [PWR]-1 Rank in Holy Damage to a target within [Twenty Meters]. The Sentinel may instead, once per post as a basic defense, negate damage equal to their [DEF] to either themselves or an ally within melee range.[break][break]
Upgrades when Clyde has at least Rank A [DEF] and one other Rank A stat, and Aleya has at least two stats at Rank A.
[break][break]
[break]
Spirit Channel - Hope's Oath: Aleya can draw on the energy inherent within her Sentinel and take on an aspect of the vitality within them, granting them the [Lifetouched] Status, though this Status cannot be dispelled or transferred. The [Lifetouched] status lasts for three rounds and while she has it her basic attack instead becomes a heal for the same amount as the damage she would have dealt and she gains the ability to utilise this heal even while attached to someone. After the duration ends this ability goes on cooldown for four rounds.[break][break]
Sentinel Channel - Protection's Vow: Sometimes to protect someone you need to fight. Drawing on the energy from beyond the Veil, the Sentinel can gain the [Knightsoul] status for the next three rounds, though this status cannot be dispelled or transferred. While under the [Knightsoul] status, the Sentinel is able to summon a Radiant Blade and once per post they may deal their [DEF]-1 Rank in Holy Damage at melee range and inflict the [Severed] debuff for one round, this debuff causes the target to deal -1 Rank in damage to anyone other than the Sentinel. Once this status ends this ability goes on cooldown for four rounds.[break][break]
Upgrades when Clyde and Aleya both share a stat at Rank B, upgrade dependent on stat.[break][break]

STAT BONUS
+2 DEF, +1 WIL, -2 PWR, -5 SPD [break][break]PASSIVE: In Death, United
Whenever you are [Shrouded] by Aleya, her ability to enhance or replace one of your stats instead allows her to enhance or replace two of your stats. Whenever Aleya has [Shrouded] someone else, you may have one of your abilities activate as though the [Shrouded] person had cast the ability instead, if you do this the cooldown is increased by one round.[break][break]
This upgrades when both Clyde and Aleya gain a Rank A stat, upgrades dependent on stats.

core
The Lovesworn Sentinel is a class focused around the use of the [Betrothed Vessel], an alteration to their borrowed heart, changing it to a soft white-gold colouration and allowing it to act as a container for the spirit of someone thought long lost. Although the body is a defensive powerhouse designed to protect those around them, this spirit, named Aleya, is manifest as a spectral companion to aid the Sentinel.[break][break]

[Common] [Active] - Your bond cannot be broken and this endless love has granted you a unique ability. You and Aleya are able to speak telepathically and feel completely real to one another with no ghostliness.
