As Hikari left through the manhole they had gone down on during their previous mission, another notification popped up. Someone had messaged her about a Halloween Event happening, and she did not realized that it was happening literally anywhere and everywhere. Well, at least, not in Safe Zones from what she had been messaged. She closed the message thread she had received from a friend, and accepted the mission to get rid of...zombies? Or perhaps they were less zombies and more so skeleton creatures. Was there a difference?

Hikari turned to Dee Dee. "It seems like we stepped from one mission to another." She turned her attention forwards towards the streets of Paris, where skeletons are not actively fighting other people. "This mission seems to be open to everyone. How about we lend a hand?"

The objective seems simple enough. Take out the skeletons that were invading the streets of Paris. With the lower rank, Hikari knew she will be having just a little bit of fun with this. "I do enjoy events like this." She commented to herself, before plowing through the first skeleton with Murakumo.

Dee Dee scooted along with Hikari, quite pleased with the job well done and happily nibbling on her tomato, her friends also enjoying the tomatoes given to them, the day was going well and Hikari was doing very well with her pet, she would just have to keep an eye out for any new equipment that maybe might work for Hikari, but with how the system worked maybe Hikari would find something for her pet froma mission reward? Ether way she was just happy she wasn't wandering alone anymore and it seemed Hikari likely shared that feeling with how caring she was to the serpent she got. Dee Dee was about to invite Hikari for a meal to celebrate the job well done when the taller woman turned to her and mentioned walking into another mission and Dee Dee blinked a moment before she looked forward and seen what she was talking about, she even opened her mission screen and sure enough there was an event mission and so she accepted and gave a thumbs up to Hikari as her friends got ready for more battle, Dee Dee even had a skill for dealing with undead, so it would be quite handy in this for giving one of her summons a boost as well as another skill that could help out Hikari. "Lets clean the streets then shall we?" the word bubble that popped up said as Dee Dee got her gear ready, The Ruby Collar was still on Jimmy, the Deerstalker was still on Geist, and BombDee still had the combat armor, the mission was against weaker enemies but they had numbers, but that was something Dee Dee was used to. Hikari jumped towards the first skeleton that had looked her way. It was, of course, because of the fact that she was running towards it already. It was the closest one within her reach, and she was one to make sure that she swept the area clean. Murakumo found its mark straight through its skull, bashing and smashing it in before Hikari leaped forward.

"Go, Kairi." Hikari motioned for the Angelic Serpent to attack as she sheathed Murakumo and glided in the air for a moment. It gave her the opportunity to look at the scene and figure out how to best approach this situation. She knew that Dee Dee was more than likely already taking down her fair share of skeletons in the area. The question was, where would she be best situated?

Kairi, however, was already on the move. The summon spewed out a chilling cold blast that hit one of the skeletons, forcing it backward and the creature circled around its prey. Hikari turned her attention back to her summon, before she flicked her fan and sent Daitsuren forward, killing the skeleton.

"Alright, let's get to where some of the innocents are trapped." Hikari motioned for Kairi to follow, while sending a message to Dee Dee telling her of what she saw. There were a few families cornered at a cafe just down the block. "Come, Kairi. Let's see what we're made of." She smiled with excitement, speeding up in the process.

Dee Dee was on the move and as Hikari took on the Skeletons Dee Dee was also moving in, taking out some Throwing Daggers she tossed two defeating two of the skeletons, while her free hand took out her Pointy stick and she pointed at a gathering of Skeletons that were advancing on some people, she altered her angle a bit and then activated the Pointy stick, clearing the crowd of Skeletons in a hail of spikes before she put the weapon away and moved to the ground gesturing them to leave the area as she got her shield out to defend them

BombDee was already covering their escape by Attacking a Skeleton in the way and sending it flying into some more, destroying the first skeleton and knocking over the rest as the Small Waddle-dee waved the group past him letting them safely leave the combat area, then the Waddle-dee nodded happily before turning back to the skeletons.

Jimmy meanwhile was up on the side of a building taking out some Skeleton Archers that were on the balconies, grabbing one and gnawing on it before throwing what was left of it at another skeleton archer to throw off it's aim, though the ant was getting hit by a few arrows they were weak and didn't get through his tough Carapace, but any more and it would start to take a toll on him

Geist was also helping Jimmy take out the ranged Skeletons firing a Dark Orb at one and destroying it before turning to where Hikari was and then gesturing to Dee Dee, before heading over floating over the skeletons in the way and putting itself between the family and the skeletons as the group of Skeletons Rushed them, the Dark Sorcerer lifting it's arms and a large Shield flew up between him and the skeletons, protecting the family behind him from their sudden onslaught and buying time to Hikari, Dee Dee and the others to close in.

One of Dee Dee's summons got there first, and had seemingly put up a shield to help the people. They were innocent bystanders, people who were not fighters, not ones who wanted to level up in this world.

Hikari quickly made it to the area, the storefront was already too pressured by the amount of skeletons that had gathered. The sounds had attracted them all. Hikari herself landed onto one of the skeletons, crushing it with Murakumo's sharp blade and her momentum. Daitsuren was quickly unsheathed as well, and Hikari quickly made good use of the sword.

She struck another with Daitsuren, before leaping back and utilizing one of her abilities. "Mikazuki." Kenmyoren was immediately unsheathed, before slicing a large arc in front of her, cleaving the group as it toppled and wrecked half a dozen skeletons that were advancing forward.

Finishing up her ability, she moved towards the group of people, reassuring them of their safety. There were still a lot of skeletons heading their way, though she was sure that Dee Dee would take care of them, having seen her already making her way towards them. Kairi had already dispatched one of the skeletons that had come too close to them. Hikari whirled around at that, and kept her sword at the ready for the next onslaught from those not dispatched by Dee Dee.

Dee Dee rushed over to where Geist was the shield he made wouldn't last forever, it was more an emergency measure, to buy time, but it didn't Seem like she would get there in time, nor would any of her other friends, Geist had the advantage of hovering over the skeletons to get there in time. But thankfully Hikari made it in time and took out the Group of Skeletons and drawing the attention of the people there to calm them, thankfully that would stop them from just running, keeping them in place was making it easier on them to defend them, but there were just to many Skeletons, so Dee Dee figured it was time to Even the odds a bit.

As she got closer she raised a hand and she started to glow brightly for a moment before three stars shot out of her the Stars bursting and There Stood Kramer, Ton, and CaveDee, the three extra summons moved in to aid in clearing out the Skeletons, Dee Dee herself took out her Punk Tsunami weapons and her Whack'em Mallet, Defense wasn't really needed here, she needed clear potential, these items would allow that, and so she rushed into the rear of the group of Skeletons closing in on Hikari and the people that she and Geist had just saved.

As she charged she activated the Whack'em mallet's ability and she started to glow red, as she took a swing with the massive weapon, knocking a skeleton into shrapnel the bones scattering as she used the backswing to shatter a second Skeleton, before spinning around and punching another Skeleton, not breaking it but then a torrent of water erupted from where she punched it and sent it flying back through the crowd of Skeletons knocking a great deal of them over and scattering them before the force from the water broke the skeleton apart, with Dee Dee whipping around to punch another Skeleton before a flick of the wrist lodged another of her sunflower Daggers into it's skull finishing it off. But there was still a great deal of Skeletons between her and the Group that Hikari and Geist were guarding.

With that being the case Kramer moved in reared his head back and took in a deep breath, flames licking at it's jaw before throwing his head forward and unleashing a Gout of Dragon flames, Burning many Skeletons to Ash and opening the way for the other Summons to get closer the Dragon doing the same as he flapped his wings and rushed forward, the way was open, and so Kramer moved in to support Hikari and Geist as he landed near Hikari and swatted away another Skeleton with his tail.

CaveDee meanwhile wasn't exactly the fastest, but Ton on the other hand was much Faster so the Waddle-Dee hopped on the back of the Tiger and waved it's Club around letting out a "Ooga booga!" as the two of them charged through the opening that Kramer and Dee Dee had made in the group of Skeletons. CaveDee taking out Skeletons as Ton passed them, to thin the group even more his strikes empowered by his skill.

Ton meanwhile let the Waddle-dee ride him, it would allow them to get their together and he didn't really need to worry about the Skeletons on the way to Hikari and the people she was guarding with Geist, instead the Tiger focused on the run, any Skeletons that got close where dispatched by the Waddle-Dee on his back, mist coming off him and obscuring the tiger a bit as he used his chilling rush skill to get there faster, before Skidding to a stop on the other side of Hikari and letting out a roar at the Skeletons closing in, Causing a good number of them to Shatter from the powerful Cold enhanced roar.

Jimmy meanwhile was rushing along the Buildings taking out more and more of the archers, growing larger to get more aggro on himself and to buff his stats, as he rampaged through a group of Archers on an overlooking Mezzanine, forcing the group to focus on the large flaming ant, causing them to take damage from his flames as he crashed into them tossing one Skeleton and splintering it into nothing the Ruby Collar doing it's job in keeping him healed up, the attacks were many but they were barely overcoming his defense.

Geist meanwhile had to drop the shield unable to hold it long, but Hikari's aid and then the other summons rushing in to help made the shield falling a moot point and instead being the only ranged Combatant in the group of Summons Geist focused on giving Covering Fire to Jimmy with his Dark Orbs, taking out other Archers that were to far away for Jimmy to deal with though the ant was doing a great job drawing their aggro.

BomdDee meanwhile rushed in alongside Dee Dee with the path open the Waddle-dee rushed to the aid of the group under threat by the skeletons, though that threat was already much reduced, but still there was more and so the Little Waddle-dee took out a bomb and tossed it into the midst of the horde of Skeletons the explosion shattering a great number of them and the Waddle-dee then power punched another Skeleton sending it flying into the group behind it.

Dee Dee brought up the rear of her group of summons, getting to them and Hikari and the bystanders and giving Hikari a thumbs up as the word bubble popped up "We can handle the hordes down here, can you handle the Skeleton archers on the balconies and the Mezzanine up there? I see more then Jimmy can handle alone up there even with Geist's support from here. I'll Kramer with you as well since those Archers are a rather large threat" she asked as she looked around, the good news was their rush had opened such a hole in the horde that a lot of people where now using the much safer path to rush over to them and hide behind the group of Summons, Dee Dee, and Hikari and her pet serpent. which was good it meant they could more focus their defense here now.

Hikari watched as Dee Dee carved her way through the skeletons. She had never doubted the skill of the woman. In fact, she had great admiration for Dee Dee. She was one of the most dedicated women he knew when it comes to helping people. She admired that trait, especially since she herself lacked it. Hikari was born an heiress, and will die one. The teachings passed down to her, who she is, would never change. Though she might not know it yet.

"Thank you for the support, Dee Dee." She looked up towards the archers and smirked. "Leave them to me. if you can cull enough of this hoard, perhaps we can find what's causing all of this here and get rid of it." Holding Murakumo, she quickly sheathed the sword and started running along the wall. She ran, as though the wall itself was the ground, unhindered by gravity.

Kairi was right behind her, and as Hikari jumped, Kairi slid forward and sent her breath attack towards the first archer. It toppled it sideways, before Hikari slashed its skull, destroying it with one strike.

Turning towards the line of archers, Hikari quickly ran forward. The first one was dispatched with Daitsuren, the sword cleaving through the archer's skull. The next was hit straight through its forehead with Kenmyoren, making it stumble before crumpling to the floor. The third, fourth, and fifth in-line shot arrows at Hikari. The woman only smiled as the arrows whizzed by her as she stepped around them. Their stats didn't seem to be comparable to her own, and therefore these attacks were useless. She was the perfect enemy to these ranged skeletons, it seems. She brandished her sword, before moving forward for the kill.

Dee Dee Nodded to Hikari as she looked to the massive horde of Skeletons and Dee Dee started to glow, as did all her summons as she activated her Syncro fight ability, their senses merging and they all shared information from their senses, unlike before it wasn't disorienting Dee Dee had gotten used to the sudden information, with this active she didn't need to issue orders her Summons knew what to do, and she nods her Summons all copying the motion.

Kramer flew along with Hikari as she started to attack the Archers Kramer flew by swatting some as he flew by, forcing the Archers to split their attention, though Hikari didn't seem to need that help, but with the amount of Archers they needed all the different distractions they could to split the Archers focus and stop them from firing on the others below, and so Kramer started to circle and dive now and again to attack a few and then avoid the attacks in the air.

Jimmy was on the same Mezzanine as Hikari, the Giant Ant was tearing through the Archers, the arrows hitting his Carapace and chipping it now and again but it stood up especially with Kramer and Hikari taking more focus away from him, and so he continued to gnaw on the archers and tossing them as the flames started to lash out at other Skeletons dealign some damage to them as he rampaged through the group.

Geist was firing off Dark orbs trying to support Jimmy, Kramer, and Hikari from his position, attacking the Archers that were on balconies above the groups, as the mezzanine did have a large amount of skeleton archers but there was still others on the balconies trying to get shots off on the three dealing with the archers, Geist's sheild was on cooldown so this was the best he could do to support them for the time being.

CaveDee Hopped off Ton and started to take wide swings at the Skeleton Horde closing in on them, sending them flying and shattering them as they tried to get closer, the Waddle-dee dodging several attacks thanks to the sensory information from his allies as he would retaliate with another strike, his damage still quite powerful thanks to his activated ability.

Ton was weaving through the skeletons, none of them really able to aim for him thanks to his body being blurred and obscured due to his ability, and he used the shelter of the ability to attack and fade away taking out Skeletons in the group to thin out the massive mob if only a little, and the extra speed meant he was able to avoid the attacks that where coming at him if only just barely along with the extra senses from his allies.

BombDee moved into the crowd of Skeletons, dodging some attacks and planting a landmine before rushing out, his armor chipped and damaged but still holding as he got out of the crowd just as the mine exploded taking out a good deal of Skeletons with it as he spuin around and Power punched another Skeleton to send them flying back into the crowd to scatter them and topple them from the impact.

Her Summons were doing good work, and Dee Dee nodded as she moved into the Crowd of Skeletons her Mallet swinging and sending Skeletons flying as she got in deep into the horde, dodging some attacks though some still hit her, she then slammed her fist into the group and a massive burst of water pushed the skeletons away and destroyed a good number of them before Dee Dee Swapped places with Ton who was in a deeper part of the Horde swapping their positions suddenly Though Ton knew it was coming and so continued his work. All while Dee Dee activated her Popstar mic "MUUUUNNNAYAAAA!!!!" she yelled into the Mic making her voice echo loudly and shatter even more Skeletons around her in a wide area before she started to fall back to the defensive line they were keeping.

From the corner of her eye, Hikari can see Dee Dee's summon doing their best in eliminating the threats around them. She was eternally grateful for their help. It was just so interesting to see how one person can technically do so many things with the amount of summons they have. It was like having four arms, but better.

For her part, Hikari quickly dispatched one more skeleton. She eyed those in front, and considered herself lucky that this was a lower ranked mission. If it were higher, the chances of her being able to dodge these arrows would be lower. Her core worked very well when her SPD stat was higher than her opponents, and it was working wonders right now.

Taking a page from Dee Dee, Hikari sent Kairi forward. Her summon blasted the skeleton archer with her breath attack, before Hikari followed it up with Murakumo slicing through it. She hopped, skipped, and jumped around, using Daitsuren and Kenmyoren to dispatch two others, before crushing one with a shadowed claw.

When she heard Dee Dee's voice, she paused to smile. She had heard it before, though it must have been once only. It was a screech, something that irked her, but it was always great to hear Dee Dee. Suddenly, movement in front caught her attention. Just beyond the street, a lumbering giant was heading towards them. Hikari frowned, before shouting at Dee Dee, "Dee Dee! Look over there!" The giant skeleton turned the corner, slowly lumbering towards them. It was the size of a tall building, and certainly a challenge to take down for any regular citizen. Good thing Hikari and Dee Dee were anything but.

Dee Dee Looked around at the Skeletons still closing in, thankfully they were no longer the massive horde they used to be, the numbers far more manageable now, which was a good thing since she felt the black lash of her summoning so many summons as she felt Fatigue wash over her and she stumbled a moment as she felt her mind prompted on who to keep with them, she Decided to send CaveDee, Ton, and Jimmy back this left her With BombDee with her, and Geist, while Kramer could aid Hikari.

As the three summons poofed back into stars Dee Dee shook her head to clear it of the sudden wave of Fatigue, Well it was a good thing the Skeletons were mostly dealt with right? They were quite thinned out now so clearing them would be easy... and then Hikari called out and Dee Dee looked over and seen the Giant, the archers were also thankfully mostly cleared but there were still stragglers of both the melee and Ranged skeletons and now this big one and Dee Dee looked around to think of a plan.

Her big hits were all on cooldown, the Punk Tsunami was on a major cooldown, her mallets power boost would last a bit longer but would be gone soon, Syncro fight would also end soon, her Mic's burst ability was spent for now and would need time to charge, looking around she knew she couldn't handle the amount of undead left and the giant at the same time, and there was still a few archers that needed to be dealt with, then Dee Dee remembered something.

She activated one of her skills, and suddenly heavy metal music started to play the Mic increasing the range of it quite a bit and all the Skeletons left started to attack each other, thankfully her and her summons were not close enough to be targeted for now, and the Skeletons that were around were destroying each other rapidly as Dee Dee threw another Sunflower Dagger killing another Skeleton and Activating her Spirit guide skill Granting Geist a 20% boost to all stats.

She then lifted her hand and a Folder appeared in front of her and she opened it to see Hikari and her pet Kairi, her own friends BombDee, Geist, and Kramer, and Dee Dee herself, as well as Cards for every skeleton both Melee and ranged there as well as the Giant skeleton, and she sent a message to Hikari "I can buff you take out the giant Skeleton now Let Kramer and Geist handle the rest of the Archers" the message sent to Hikari read as Dee Dee took out the Card with Hikari on it and held it up, and it started to shine a moment before fading, and suddenly a second slightly Translucent Hikari appeared mirroring the same movements of the real one, before super imposing itself on Hikari and she would feel a Massive Swell of energy. All while Dee Dee activated yet another skill to create Spectral pop-stars to draw the aggro of any Skeletons close to them so that they would have time to breath, the small girl breathing a bit heavy from all she was doing, The girl quite obviously pushing herself to do so much at once, while dealing with the rebound from her oversummon.

BombDee meanwhile was staying away from the Skeletons attacking each other, taking the time to rest a bit but staying on guard in case any came close to the people they were protecting, taking the time to move things in the way of the only entrance so they couldn't get in easily, the small Waddle-dee then stationing himself in front of that entrance as well so they would have to deal with the tough little guy first before they could go after the civilians

Geist meanwhile felt a surge of power As Dee Dee buffed him, and he raised his hands and fired off a Dark Orb at the Archers near Hikari and her pet to clear one side of them, bombarding the Skeleton archers there and reducing them to shards as the Dark Sorcerer took to the air to get a better shot by landing on a Balcony and continued to bombard the Archer Skeletons with more Dark Orbs.

Kramer meanwhile swatted another Skeleton before spinning around and taking another deep breath and letting out another searing gout of flames turning even more into ash as the dragon cleared the rest that could possible interfere with Hikari and her pet from going after the Giant, the dragon giving a nod to the woman before he moved to draw the attention of more of the Balcony based Archers.

Hikari felt the buff on her. The message from Dee Dee made it even more concrete as a message appeared on her screen. She glanced at her swords, realizing that there was only one ability she could use in order to fully utilize this buff from Dee Dee. The excitement shot through her system, and she grinned.

The limits to her class were unbound, and she was sure that her ability might just cause too much destruction. And yet, as she watched the huge skeleton amble forward, Hikari knew that the risk was worth it. Lives were at stake, and she was not going to go down without a fight. Not when she could do something about it.

She sheathed Murakumo, and started jumping and gliding through the roof tops. The sword was nifty in the sense that it gave her such flexibility with movement. The archers kept shooting at her, and they kept missing. Her only focus was getting to the giant skeleton. She sent a quick message to Dee Dee, Good luck, and don't worry. I'll deal with this giant one.

When she got close enough, Hikari's swords all sheathed themselves. The giant skeleton didn't even notice her, being so small when compared to its size. Hikari took it in stride and held out her hand. "Ougi - Yuudachi." The sky darkened, and celestial swords started raining down on the giant skeleton. Unlike before, Hikari could feel the tremendous amount of power that was added to her attack. It shredded the beast into oblivion, making it scream in pain as it turned to dust under the assault.

Taking a moment to take a deep breath and rest up a bit as she took out her pointy stick and looking at the remaining horde of Skeletons in front of her, she lifted the pointy stick and waited for them to get closer as Syncrofight ended and caused her to get hit with the rebound from that skill as well from the extra mental load from her Over-summon earlier as well and she backed up a bit to draw them in closer and to rest against the buildings wall, with a few more moments of letting them get closer Dee Dee finally activated the pointy stick and a hail of spikes shot out of it destroying the skeletons in front of her, though some were still left.

BombDee rushed forward, the remaining few skeletons wouldn't be a threat to the people inside the building anymore and so the Waddle-dee raced to the aid of his Friend and Summoner, Tackling one Skeleton to the ground that got close and hitting it with a power punch causing it to shatter, before hopping to his feet and and standing between Dee Dee and the remaining four skeletons.

Geist watched as the rest of the Archers burned in the flames of Kramer, some still flaming turned to shoot at Hikari but she avoided them on her way to the large one, and so the dark Sorcerer turned his attention to blasting one of the skeletons going towards Dee Dee blasting it off it's feet and shattering it.

Kramer took to the sky leaving Hikari to deal with the giant and flew to the remaining skeletons near Dee Dee once being shattered by BombDee, one taken out by Geist, and Kramer landed to take out another with a tail swipe roaring to get their attention, but it seemed they were focused on Dee Dee.

Dee Dee raised her hand looking at the remaining two skeletons and her last Sunflower dagger appeared in her hand as well as an aura ball in the other and she gave them a toss, hitting one skeleton in the head and then the ribcage shattering it before she took out the Card from her folder that had the remaining Skeleton on it and she flipped the card around and a a copy of the skeleton lunged out of the card and charged at the remaining one shattering them both as she took out her Metal folding chair and set it down to take a rest letting out a sigh as she got to rest now. and she looked over to the Crater that was left of where the giant was and gave Hikari a thumbs up.

Hikari watched as the giant skeleton crumbled into nothingness. She nodded to herself, before turning her attention back to Dee Dee. She looked knackered, and very much not in commission anymore. Hikari herself felt no better, but she was managing somehow. Perhaps it was the adrenaline still coursing through her. And the fact that Kairi was now snuggling up to her, using her healing aura to soothe her aches and pains.

She started making her way to Dee Dee. She paused only to pick off two straggler skeletons which tried to stab her. A quick one-two with Murakumo and her fist made quick work of them.

"Dee Dee, I hope you're feeling alright?" She asked as she finally got to the girl. "I suppose this was the Halloween Trick by the System?" Hikari looked around, her now-sheathed sword staying by her side.

Taking a glance around, she reassured people who were still lingering. Those around her who had been hiding were now starting to emerge from their hiding spots. While those who had fought were coming back, bruised but alive. The skeletons themselves weren't too much of a threat, however, they were very dangerous when in a hoard. "I think it's time we went on our way." Hikari looked around, satisfied that everything seemed to be safe now.

With the last of the Skeletons dealt with by Hikari Dee Dee fully relaxed on the chair for a moment, a bit drained from doing all that without a moment to center herself, but at least she knew that in a situation she could do it, so there was that, her Friends walked over to join her and Dee Dee pets and hugs them all, glad they were there to help, she then started to take some tomatoes out for them to enjoy before taking one out for herself and she nibbled away on it as she rested a bit. Though Hikari then walked up to her and Dee Dee looked up and nodded when asked if she was okay. She took out another Two Tomatoes and handed them to Hikari so she could give one to her pet, and Dee Dee took a moment to rest up a bit more, before she finished off her own tomato and then got back up putting the folding chair back into her inventory, looking around she was glad to see everyone was okay, a few minor injuries, but they were being tended to by what healers were around, it was good the skeletons individually were weak, if they had these numbers and were all strong that would have been bad, and the few low level combatants here wouldn't have held, and the civilian's definatly wouldn't have. Once again Dee Dee's Own lack of Stats was made evident to her, she was capable and she had options on how to deal with things, but it was getting to the point where as things continued she couldn't stand on the front lines with her summons anymore, the mission with the Trolls and now this were making that clear, she had to many openings from her own abilities, being in the thick of things and having them end, and then her getting hit with the side affects could put her and her friends into danger, an update to her gear was the best she could do for now to handle it. Looking back to Hikari Dee Dee nodded and gave her a thumbs up as she followed Hikair out of the are, she had much to consider now like better combat options for herself so she could keep helping people as much as she could, though it was clear to her eventually she would be more hinderance then help to her stronger allies like Hikari.
