Kurai was glad that the surveys were all done and that they could move on to the main mission they were here for. Well, the one that popped up after they arrived at the island anyway. That wasn't his original intention when he decided to visit The Devil's Triangle.
All Kurai wanted to do was see if he could find some cool new book or something demonic for his class. All he found however was some imps he couldn't interact with directly. Not yet at least.
How did he end up getting himself dragged to a cemetery in search of... a ghost? At the beck and call of some mostly unknown entity at that. Somehow Kurai got caught up in the excitement of the island and allowed himself to be manipulated by that bastard Earth-Chan. This sudden realization was enough to instantly sour his mood.
While Seere was searching the graves for any clue on how to find or summon the spirit Kurai found himself a comfortable spot to sit down. After taking a large leather-bound book from his inventory he leaned back against one of the gravestones. He was reading one of his many books about western magics when Lowell called out that one of the wolves found something. He unenthusiastically raised a fist in the air in some sort of mock fist pump. “Woo. Go wolf. Tell us what you found.”

Lowell didn't hesitate to follow Cloak to the location in question. When the wolf stopped, she pointed to their right and he gasped to see some gravestones now in ruins. The rubble was scattered around their feet and it seemed like the remaining stones were vandalized with graffiti. He couldn't believe what he just saw. He heard not many of the players visited this isle lately, yet he was horrified and disgusted to see the damage.

"How terrible..." Lowell muttered. "Who would do this? No wonder why you couldn't rest peacefully." He turned to his pack and mentally summoned his fourth wolf while picking up a few pieces on the ground. "We can clean up the graffiti, but I don't know how we can repair the gravestones. We can try carving some nearby stones, but it would take more than my transformation."

He hummed in thought. Lowell would try to become a werewolf to work on the stones. But he wasn't confident when it came to stone carving especially since he had to do it with claws. He then turned to Kurai next. "Any ideas? It doesn't have to be too complex for us to do with them."

Once Lowell found the source of the problem Kurai put down his book to check out what was going on. He groaned and a frown appeared on his face as he saw the carnage. Multiple gravestones were destroyed and others were covered with graffiti. “Bastards... Even I wouldn't stoop this low.” Who would go around desecrating graves for no reason? Pathetic. If you're going to wreck something at least have a reason. While he looked through the system store for a couple of items he'd need to clean up Seere moved over to examine Lowell's attempts at carving a new gravestone. “You can do as my summoner is. This 'System Store' allows you to buy any item you may need. Perhaps a chisel is in order.” As if to emphasize their point Kurai pulled a bottle of vinegar, baking soda, and a wire bristle brush. “You're lucky this is right up my alley,” he said as he used the items to clean the paint off the graves. Following Seere's suggestion, Lowell bought several chisels from the store and started carving some stones. Of all the skills he learned back in the real world, he was somewhat decent at stone carving. He wasn't perfect at it, but he made statues to pass art classes. So after a few hours of carving (and cutting through stones thanks to his wolves' assistance), he managed to make rugged, yet readable gravestones.

"This should be enough. Too bad the old gravestones are too broken for us to read their names. We apologize for that." Lowell transformed into his werewolf form to use his claws to make some finishing touches. Then he gingerly placed them in the graves and sighed as he stared at the fruits of his labor. "I hope this is enough for you." He turned his lupine head to his party mate and his summon. "How's the clean-up, you two?" He asked.

While Lowell was using their newly bought chisel to carve some new tombstones Seere watched to make sure everything was going smoothly. Meanwhile, Kurai slowly worked on those that remained intact. He carefully scrubbed the paint away with the bubbling solution he mixed together making sure not to leave any scratches on the stone. Unlike his mission partner, he was intimately familiar with the work he was doing so it didn't take long. By the time Lowell was done, Kurai was already done. He had his hands clasped together and his head bowed in prayer to whatever spirits inhabited the graveyard. Even though he turned his back on his father's religion he wasn't about to trace a cross on his chest with an actual demon nearby. Who knows what may happen to Seere... and him now that he had a connection to them? “All done here. You ready to go?”Once they were both done a breeze blew through the area as if to alert the pair of the spirit's contentment. They'd done well. “Looks like everything is all set here.” With their cleanup done and those in the afterlife appeased Kurai began to make his way back to the starting point of their adventure. Lowell smiled once he saw the remaining gravestones were squeaky clean. He transformed back to his human form and joined Kurai as they admired the newly repaired graves. Then, he felt a chill that seemed a bit gentler than before. But he didn't react in fear, but to his relief that the deceased seemed to be delighted to see their resting places were good as new. He wished he knew who were the troublemakers who vandalized the graves, but that's one story he would have to figure out another day. Besides, they were done with their Mission and their surveys.

"Yeah. All that's left for them is to rest in peace." Lowell turned to the now-invisible spirits as his pack bowed their heads before he did the same. "We wish you well in your time of peace." He and his pack then joined Kurai and headed out of the island as their job has finished. Hopefully, they will visit again to pray and respect the deceased once more.
