Cursed man. Half-human cryptids. Humans turned monsters.

Those were the descriptions you could describe a werewolf. While many feared its presence, Lowell grew interested in them. Because of his interest, he followed his parents' footsteps by majoring in folklore and mythology. It wasn't much of an obsession as his research was mainly focused on the werewolf's true origins from real mythology and legends. He is also aware of tropes related to the many werewolf movies he watched and tends to compare them during his research into them.

But there were times he dreamed he was a werewolf himself. Well, he didn't really want to be one. It was impossible in real life. He was aware of that fact. Yet there were times he had to roleplay as one during his MMO sessions with his friends. He even drew himself as a werewolf, much to their amusement.

However, the whole reason he got into werewolves was his childhood memory of watching his favorite cartoon starring a friendly wolf. While he was aware most werewolves were not as friendly as a children's show, he wished he could be like that wolf who would protect his loved ones and others from harm.

The pack brings forward only victory

PASSIVE: Leader of the Howl Your pack is an echo of yourself, empowering itself collectively for each member. For each other active party member in your group and each active [Howling Shade], you, your allies, and your [Howling Shades] gain +5% to SPD.[break][break]

The Shade Caller is the one who hunts with their pack of shades. Feeling the longing of past hunts and a hunger to chase, you will almost assuredly catch your prey. Every third post, after the first, you make in a thread you summon out a [Howling Shade], a jet black wolf that seems to be made of shadows, up to a maximum of six [You begin each thread with one Howling Shade]. These wolves share your [PWR], [SPD], but only receive 25% of your [WIL] as [VIT] and [DEF]. They can be as far as your [WIL] / 3 meters before they simply disappear into nothing. [break][break]
Once per post you can command the wolves summoned to make an attack at [PWR] -1.[break][break]
Additionally once per post, you can swap places with a summoned [Shade Howler], or have it apparate from a different one’s shadow regardless of where it was before.[break][break]

Call of the Pack: Transform yourself into one of your [Howling Shades], gaining a basic bite that deals [PWR] +1 in damage and counting yourself towards the increased speed of your passive. While transformed you can release a howl towards the sky and call forth your pack at an accelerated pace, gaining an additional [Howling Shade] immediately if you have less then the maximum. This transformation lasts for three posts, before going on cooldown for four post.[break][break]

Pocket Sand Three times per thread you can toss a handful of this sand towards one target, and if their SPD rank is lower than yours they become [blind] for one post. Anything that is [blind] cannot use attacks, abilities, effects, or items that require them to see and choose a target. Anything that already cannot see cannot become [blind]. After use it takes five posts for your pocket to refill with enough sand to be useful again. [break][break]
Guidebook This book has a very clearly hand made look to it. Written on the front is the title, "Waddle-Dee Dee's Beginner’s Guide to the System!" There’s also an illustration of a Waddle Dee version of Dee Dee waving, along with a word bubble overhead that says, "Let's Learn Together!" On the back cover are the words "Don't Panic!" written in big friendly letters. Inside is a description of the system interface and the system itself, including functions like the messaging system, shop, guilds, area map, forum access, and a host of other things that any beginner might need to know. It’s all explained without jargon and as clearly as possible, making it easy to understand. Towards the back was a glossary of terms that the owner of the book might overhear other people use. In the very back was a bestiary describing enemies and simple tactics to beat them, accompanied by hand made drawings, including some depicting Dee Dee and others battling the beasts. [break][break]
Utopian Bandanna This simple bandanna comes in any combination of the Guild's blue and gold color scheme you choose, and adjusts in size to fit its owner. Once worn in whatever manner you prefer, it will remain secure until you choose to remove it. Wearing this gives you a permanent +20% buff to VIT and WIL, as well as resistance to Slashing, Piercing, Bludgeoning, and Fire damage equal to your VIT + WIL. For some reason, pets and animals of all types seem to love playing with this thing, and those belonging to Guild members can often be spotted wearing their own mundane versions. [break][break]
Guild Ration Probably the best meal you've ever had as a ration, nice. While not in combat you can spend one post consuming this item to recover 10% of your VIT, leaving behind only an accessory packet and gusseted pouch. You may only bring one Guild Ration into any mission/dungeon/etc. with item limitations, but it does not count against any item limits. [break][break]
Oversized Santa Coat This red and white jacket is obviously meant for someone much larger than yourself. Still, it's comfortable and quite warm, and can absorb your DEF +1 rank of damage before being too tattered to provide this protection. After a two post cooldown the coat will be ready to protect you again, but it only repairs itself once per thread. Additionally, you reduce all cold damage by -1 rank, and chilled or freezing status effects end one post earlier. When equipped you can also move without penalty in hindering terrain caused by ice or snow. [break][break]
Glasses of Seeing Stylish, and sleek, these pair of glasses are to die for! While wearing these glasses, you can manually adjust the frame and turn the lenses into binoculars, giving you the vision of a hawk! See things far away as though they were close, though be careful not to move while using these. The world might just spin and make you tumble![break][break]
Token of Friendship A simple bronze coin depicting a handshake on one side and a smiling Earth-chan on the other. This is a crafting material for the forge.[break][break]
