Seoul at the very edge of the safe zone, in a building that was on the outside of it, likely so they could defend themselves and to keep others from getting to them easily, at least anyone low leveled, Dee Dee assumed that was where they would be anyway, but she didn't know exactly so finding where they were based exactly would be best, and rather then an ambush "A raid... not an ambush.. hit them right in their base.. hard fast and sudden, that way they are scared and confused, if we can't ambush them out in the open we just raid the base... but that means we need to know where it is.. and it also means I need some specific equipment." the word bubble popped up to present her words to Hikari. Though the fact that it was a low level mission did mean they were only expecting people of roughly that strength to deal with so running into her was out of their range, and Hikari as she was now was likely the same, but numbers could even things out especially since Hikari wasn't one to have a lot of AoE as far as she knew, and Dee Dee had a few options now but not enough to easily carry a fight due to cooldowns. they might be individually stronger but that didn't mean they were sure to win "We still need to be care since Quantity has a Quality all its own, granted that quantity needs to be able to work well together to make use of that strength.." the word bubble pointed out as Dee Dee was using her note pad to do some math to figure out all she could afford to get and how much it would cost to prep. She did have a point though take care of them now and make it stick, then they will not have to worry about it again "but if we don't do this right and still wipe them out... others might just think 'I can do it better then those fools' and try to be the next guy to try to do the same thing and try to get bigger... are we Willing to continue to go around putting out fires? Eventually so many sparks might pop up that we might not be able to deal with them all.." the bubble mused as Dee Dee continued her work. "But if we don't act it will only get worse so there really is no choice but to do something about it right now and make sure it's a lesson so well taught that they don't try it again, but we will likely have to hit every little splinter group afterword's as well so I have to take that into account" she thought about it as she finished her calculations, she could get the points she needed for her purchases with a few missions and doing those should raise her level where she wanted it before doing all this. Hikari shrugged, "I can do the reconnaissance. I can find their base, and I can make sure that we find out the times they would be leaving their base." A raid would not be good for them. A raid meant that they needed to use too many resources for far too many risks. "We should hit them when they least expect it, where they have little defenses, and have no hole they can hide under."

"There truly is no 'doing this right'. Any plan we make will have holes. And those holes can make or break everything. The best we can do is plan for the best." That was how Hikari lived her life, after all. "There will always be those who will try to follow in their footsteps. The best we can do is to eliminate the threats, and hope for the best." She shrugged then, the inevitability of a cycle is always present, after all.

She turned her attention up, and once more towards the town in the horizon. "I don't think the splinter cells will be a big issue. They will cause trouble, but perhaps the system will recognize their threat. It is possible..." Hikari looked towards the sky now, as though trying to catch the attention of the system itself. "In any case, we must look at the big picture first. If we distract ourselves with the possible outcomes, futures that have not come to pass yet."

"okay then, just be careful with doing that..." she couldn't really stop her anyway, and this way they would have more information, but at the same time Dee Dee wanted to plan more things, she knew Hikari was right she couldn't plan for everything, just like in strategy games any plan always fell apart once you got into battle with the enemy since they will never act the way you think they will, they could do the unthinkable, or do something crazy or stupid, and it was impossible to plan for all that, the best she could do was prepare as best she could and get ready to toss any plan she made once things went off the rails, which playing against her parents in strategy games has taught her, would happen regardless and likely sooner then she thought. "while you do that I will finish getting stronger so I can at least be sure I did all I could to prepare for this, it's a big departure, and we don't know what items they may have stolen or bought from the system, and while like you said there is no doing this right, we can still prepare to the best of our abilities, as for others... not much we can do now other then deal with that later... or maybe after we deal with this I can tell others about it and they can help deal with it.. trusted people..." she finished the word bubble having conveyed what she wanted to say. Hikari bowed towards Dee Dee, a small smile gracing her serene face. "You must not worry for me, Miss Dee Dee. I do not enjoy this. Killing is not something anybody should enjoy." She acquiesced. "It is, however, a fact. I have come to terms with it, especially when it is my life against another's. I do not enjoy it, but that doesn't mean I will hold back when it is my life, or the lives of those I care about, that's at stake." She had conviction, and the will to go through the worst. But she would not be corrupted. How can one be corrupted when they themselves are already corrupt?

"Do be careful out there, Dee Dee." She dropped the "miss", not realizing it until afterwards. "I shall do my best in this reconnaissance of mine, and you shall do your best in whatever it is you need to plan for. We will, however, be successful with this mission." Hikari had little doubt of that.

Dee Dee nodded as she started to make her way to the town, they could find a place to sleep for the night there, failing that they hopefully had a waypoint they could use to get somewhere that they could find a place to sleep, or just use the way point to get to their respective guilds, "I always worry for my friends, anyone would worry for their friends!" the word bubble presented to Hikari as they walked, it was true Dee Dee couldn't help but worry for her friends after all she wanted them to be okay and healthy but she understood what Hikari meant "I will be careful too don't worry I always have my friends to watch my back, it's the fact that not all my friends have that advantage that I worry, I don't doubt your skills, but I still can't help but worry" the bubble expressed as they walked, finally getting to the warm glow of the lights of the town. it was a nice place, rural looking and very well maintained, clearly monsters didn't come here very often but they still had a guard presence around, so it was a safe place at the very least.
"You be careful on that recon mission, don't make any rash decisions, and don't do anything to dangerous, you're already going to be doing plenty dangerous enough things so don't push it to much okay?" she asked via word bubble as they did in fact find a way point and she made sure to note it down in her guide for later. "As for a meal I can ether make something for us both, or we can get some food here, seems they have a place to eat which is nice" she pointed to a little place that seemed to be working as a inn while her Word bubble brought up what she wanted to say.

As they walked ever closer to the town, Hikari noticed just how beautiful the emanating lights were when contrasted with the background. Even though this zone was considered to be more dangerous, having a town like this, protected by properly trained guards, and perhaps the system itself, was so very important. The fact that this town can boom into this size meant that it was significant in its own way. Perhaps it was one of the centre hubs for this region, though she cannot be sure.

Speaking of, "You are a good friend, Dee Dee." She nodded to Dee Dee at her words, before keeping in stride with the woman. "But trust me when I say that I will never willingly put myself in harm's way." After all, she valued her life even more nowadays. "This recon will be done with utmost discretion." Hikari smiled at Dee Dee, a plan already forming in her mind as to how she might go about this. Perhaps it was time to find the connections from her old life, leverage those connections, and turn them into information. She was sure she still had some friends in Seoul. She had gotten messages from them since arriving in this new world of theirs, after all.

"Perhaps we should sample the local delicacies?" She mused as she started to smell what appeared to be some kind of broth being cooked up. The aroma was very enticing indeed. "I'm sure we can learn more about this place if we enjoy the company in amongst the locals." She had missions to do here, and learning more about the place was certainly something she should be doing.

Dee Dee nodded and gave her a thumbs up, she was glad to hear she wasn't going to do anything to reckless, she did still worry of course, but she was placated somewhat by Hikari saying she wouldn't push it, so that was enough for her, and she was going to be careful with the recon so she was happy, smelling the broth on the wind Dee Dee nodded and summoned her friends all of whom she gave a Tomato so they could snack on it while they got to where they were cooking the food. "Sampling the food is a good Idea, it smells wonderful from here so it must be good!" the bubble announced as she started walking towards the scent. BombDee, Kramer, Jimmy, and Ton all were enjoying their tomatoes, Fawn also was but as usual Ton was staying close to the Fawn to protect her, they were all very happy looking even Fawn seemed a bit more relaxed if still a tiny bit uncomfortable that Ton was staying so close. but they all followed after Dee Dee in a little group, though it clearly stood out, the guards didn't say anything since they seen her summon the creatures. Going to the Inn Dee Dee walked in and headed for a table, to make sure her friends all got a seat then she headed for the counter "can we get some of the food you got cooking that smells so good? also can I get a room for the night?" she asked with the bubble and the woman giggled a bit "Aren't you the smallest thing we seen around here? and sure we can bring you the food to the table, one with all the critters right? as for the room it's a few points, free food with the room of course breakfast too" the woman explained and Dee Dee traded the points and gave her a thumbs up before returning to the large table. Hikari found herself endeared to the town. It had an easy atmosphere, one that Hikari appreciated, especially in a world such as this. It wasn't easy to lay back and relax when there was always a constant threat of danger. She, herself, had a hard time trying to find peace during these unrestful times.

As she stepped through the doors of the inn, she found herself wondering just how these people could live such idyllic lives. But then again, perhaps she was getting ahead of herself. Perhaps these people were just as hard-pressed as the rest of the world. They were just able to rest easier, especially with the influx of people in this zone.

"I will take a room as well, madame." She bowed towards the woman, before giving her order. "This is the kind of place I want to protect, Dee Dee." Hikari started when they were finally left alone. "This place, this town, this is the kind of peace that most yearn for. I am willing to do what I can to help preserve such peace, whenever I can." She wouldn't go out of her way, nor would she sacrifice herself, of course. However, at the root of it all, this was what she was fighting for, a piece of peace for herself.

The place was nice and comfy feeling and Dee Dee liked it as she sat there waiting for the food they would soon be getting, the place was rustic and it felt like a nice Village from a Fantasy story, it made it feel idyllic and peaceful and the view from the edge of the island was also great, though she did notice they made sure to not build near the edge, probably a good Idea having any buildings on the edge would likely not be the best in case of accidents, and it meant they had a good chance to see anything flying in rather then it swooping up from below the island edge so all in all it was a good Idea. Then Hikari started to talk and Dee Dee looked over to her, and Dee Dee nodded when Hikari finished "What I want is to help bring this feeling to others, in balance and understanding with other races and maybe even in partnership with some of the monsters, they have abilities useful to use and they don't have to be enemies, I mean at my guild we have a slime running our shop! And I have plans for Volt Deer, Me and a friend even got a Dragoncow for a farmer at one point.. in fact more of the Dragoncows on the island are passive towards me by this point, though they do nibble on me when they find me... I think that one we caught taught them to do that" the Word bubble displayed the words as Dee Dee sat there thinking about what she aimed to do. Idir and Mr.Beast had been sure of what they wanted as was Dee Dee, they all wanted different by very complementary things, To help people. To understand the monsters, planst, and animals. And to make friends with the ones we can, the three of them were aiming for that, and hopefully her guild would grow and they could help more people. But it was thinking all this that made her take out one of her mundane Beginners guides, people could use this to help survive, but she had found that many stop after a certain point out of fear of monsters, that was understandable, at least they could get points to live reasonably well, but then there were those people that used it to set up ambushes to get items off people, she would need to deal with that. They wanted a peaceful world, a world where one can thrive. This was even more so for Hikari, who valued freedom, but at the same time, also valued care and connection. She might seem tough, but she also needed her tender love and care, more so from herself than from anybody else.

Dee Dee continued to enjoy the meal with her friends, and as Hikari Talked Dee Dee listened along to what she was saying when asked about having a slime Dee Dee nodded and let Hikari continue, and as she did Dee Dee was surprised to see her take out the egg, she had seen one like that on sale at ender island but though she herself had gotten the mossy one "Oh neat I seen a lot of these for sale at that one shop! I bought one as well, actually... I could help you hatch it faster, well me or Mr.Beast could, but at the same time I understand you wanting to do it yourself! the eggs are great ways to get a companion you wouldn't otherwise get" Dee Dee gave a thumbs up. "Just it takes some time, though I have a skill that makes it take less time and makes sure the creature hatching out of it is stronger and healthier! Take good care of it, Having a companion with you at all times is a great thing, and if you ever need it to be stronger Mr.Beast is able to do things like that! I can as well but in a more limited capacity since I am somewhat restricted by my level" she informed her through the word bubble. But she was glad to see Hikari had gotten one of the eggs, it would hopefully turn into a powerful and helpful companion for the woman, Dee Dee was always a little worried that Hikari always seemed to be alone, but then again by the sounds of things she also travelled a lot much like herself, but Dee Dee was never alone from the start, Regardless. "Oh," Hikari responded, eyes smiling at the egg as she turned it this way and that. She doted on the thing, keeping it with her safe and sound. "I would want to hatch this egg on my own. After all, this is my responsibility." Hikari caressed the egg, "And yes, this did come from that shop. However, I believe this was a one-of-a-kind. The only one available for purchase." She had been told that there were other eggs there, but she had decided to go for the one-of. "I was told it would be harder to hatch this one, but I will do my best. She was glad to hear Hikari was so looking forward to getting her companion, She felt everyone should enjoy getting a pet or companion in some form or another if possible since she hoped it would give them an appreciation for the new world they had to live in. It might not be the safest of places but then again their old world really wasn't ether, but at least this world had it's good points as well. It also seemed the egg she had was harder to hatch then the others from that shop and Dee Dee had to wonder if all the one of a kind ones were like that? It made her wonder if she should have bought one more. Ether way choices were made and certain things obtained so she couldn't complain, she got a great deal on things and she could enjoy her time now, and best of all it sounded like Hikari wanted to meet Mr.Beast at some point, so she would have to remember to set up a bit of a party with others to celebrate the opening of the guild, though she had to wonder if anyone would want to go all the way out to the draco islands to enjoy a party out there? "Don't worry he is trust worthy, he likes animals and the new creatures and wants to befriend as many of them as possible! I have seen him tame things like wolves so I know he knows what he is doing! he also plans to open a pet shop which is a bit more possible now that we have a guild so I think he might start up that business soon" she informed her with the Word bubble as she enjoyed the food, nearing the end of her helping, her summons by this time were also getting near the end of their food as well. Hikari enjoyed the food. So much so that she was tempted to order another! However, she managed to hold herself off. After all, it wouldn't do well for her to overeat. That would lead to bloating, and then possibly her not being in her best shape. These days, that was very important.

Dee Dee had to think about that a moment as she finished off her food and piled the plates of her and her summons up on the side for them to take later once they decided to go to bed "Well the stuff I got I ended up getting from the system when I leveled up, mystery boxes seem a good place to get things, at least for me, likely cause of my class, as for other ways, well I haven't seen a shop that sells Specifically Equipment for pets or summons, might have to look for someone with a crafting class for that, or hope someone gets one as a subclass, Maybe ask Jeanne and Kitty about that at Unison center? they are merchants and might know someone or at the very least point you in the right directions, granted they could also sell you some mystery boxes since Jeanne sells them from her store" she pointed out. Her Word bubble filling in with all this info. As her summons finished up their food Dee Dee took the plates and bowls and stacked them neatly on the side of the table, making sure they were stable so she could take them all up to the counter once all her summons were done eating, Though what Hikari asked about a shop for Pets and Summon items did make her wonder a bit if she could find such a thing, she couldn't make it since she didn't have a class that could make gear, and Mr.Beast couldn't ether, Idir already had a subclass, maybe she could get lucky and find someone that did get a production class? it would be worth looking into. "Other then mystery boxes I don't know where else you would find any such items, though if I find any that I won't be using I can sell them to you since I have a good chance of getting them it seems due to my class" the word bubble expressed for her as she got the last dishes from her Friends and hopped up and grabbed the pile of plates and bowls and walking over to the counter "here we are done with these thank you for the meal"The woman looked surprised "Oh little one you didn't have to bring them up we could have come to get them, but thank you anyway sweetie" she smiled and pats Dee Dee on the head before Dee Dee walked back over to the table to rejoin Hikari and her friends.
