Dee Dee had expected to see a Patrol mission with Paris opening up people would want to get into the city and establish trade routes and supply lines to any new towns and villages that popped up in the vicinity of the city, this logistics meant safe routes, and making those routes would fall to people that could do combat. Dee Dee of course was one of those people and when she accepted the mission she had found that someone else was also joining it, and so she left the central area of Paris to head to the outskirts, having packed up her food cart and summoned her star to fly there faster then she could have walked she zoomed through the air and looked around the streets as she did so, checking her minimap time and again to see if her partner was on their way tot he mission start location, if so she could pick them up and get them there faster but as she flew she didn't see anyone marked as an Ally so she continued to fly on her way.

As she got to the outskirts she increased her speed, her Star able to travel faster then she could normally, and she was all the more grateful for it since it meant she could cover a lot of ground quickly, it also made travel so much easier since she could just fly over terrain that normally would give her trouble to go over or around so all in all it was a good pull from the mystery level ups, though now she would start having to focus on things to make herself stronger! After all to help more people she had to be strong enough to do so, and she wanted to be as helpful as possible!

With that thought in mind she got a ping on her minimap, it appeared her ally for the mission was waiting at the mission start area, so Dee Dee started to head down and she saw who it was and waved to Hikari, this job should be good then Hikari seemed quite an offensive class after all so she should be able to handle this task, Granted Dee Dee had no Idea what her stats were but she should still be quite helpful with any situations that arose once they got going. Landing her and her Summons hopped off her Warp Star as she put it away the Word Bubble Popping up next to her"Hello again, glad to see your doing well, You know the mission right? we are just clearing they way of any monster dens, monsters, and obstacles, so expect fighting and heavy lifting and getting imaginative if we have to!" she said giving Hikari a thumbs up as she looked to her summons and nodded before she waved to Hikari so they could get going, they had a bit of distance to cover after all. Hikari would also notice Dee Dee was once again wearing her "I Heart Paris" t-shirt

She also took the time to place a Ruby Collar on Kramer to give him some regen, the Deestalker hat on Jimmy so he could go unnoticed, and Familiar Battle Armor on BombDee to keep him safe, While she herself put on some Fuzzy wuzzy pants, a bandana, and took out her shield since she was sure they would run into monsters while on this patrol and it was best to be ready for that.

Hikari

Dee Dee gave a thumbs up, hearing it was likely Goblins Dee Dee nodded "Page two Forty five in the guide book Bestiary, Goblins and their tactics, hope you read up on it, if not I can give you a primer while we walk" the message appeared in her Word bubble as her Friends all greeted Hikari in their own way, BombDee saluting, Kramer giving a happy little roar and waving, and Jimmy nodding a bit, the equipment on them would make them quite capable for the mission and as they walked Hikari would notice the group spread out into a formation.

BombDee was at the front keeping his eyes open, Dee Dee was behind him doing the same but she was watching to the left and right in opposition to BombDee so that their fields of vision only overlapped at the front and it was slow and careful, with Jimmy on her head watching their back, while Kramer was in the air keeping over watch on the area around them from higher up, clearly Dee Dee had dealt with a lot of goblins or at the very least she had helped a lot of Caravans as a guard if she already had a Formation thought up for the most coverage and watching multiple angles.

"Oh and just keep a general look around, formations are good for groups, and any eyes watching are always handy, after all we might miss something even if we both look past it, so extra eyes means extra chances! Knowing their rough numbers and what kind is very handy since it means we could expect maybe ambushes, how good they are is really up in the air, but if they have a larger variant it could be somewhat more complex, they might even have weapons and armor rather then makeshift stuff" she informed Hikari through the Word Bubble.

Hikari

Dee Dee nodded to Hikari informing her about her reading as well as her taking the rear, she didn't mind, more eyes watching was more eyes watching, and so they continued on their patrol, they would continue for a while like this, Kramer coming down to rest his wings now and again as they walked but eventually he would always fly back up and return to his position in the group, Dee Dee didn't mind, after all he could only fly for so long, but she had already taught him to never stay in the sky up to his limit, and always rest when he starts to feel like his wings are even a little tired, this meant evne if he was on the ground he could still fly in an emergency, and so he would always have that option even if they were travelling and they were surprise attacked.

BombDee was keeping an eye out and making sure to check the road to with a long stick for any pit falls, normal goblins wouldn't use them but Dee Dee was a bit worried since they had a larger one with them it might be a sub-species so variation in their tactics was something to be not just considered but expected. But so far no issues as they traveled along.

it was a while before Dee Dee could smell something on the wind, a bit of smoke? she looked around and sure enough over the tree line of a small brush area she could see wisps of smoke fading into the sky "Smoke.. I think they spotted us and killed their fire... Keep your eyes to the left, Kramer will watch the right where the smoke was so it looks like we are not paying attention to that side they are on, just incase there are some over there, but also to bait out the goblins" the word bubble informed Hikari as they continued walking though a bit slower now.

Hikari

Dee Dee nodded to her and they continued to look the opposite direction, the best way to get them all was to let them ambush them and make them think they had the upper hand, and by the sound of things and they way Hikari was smirking Dee Dee figured they were making their moves. And sure enough suddenly the bushes to their right, the opposite side they were looking at, burst into activity as armored and well armed goblins raced out, a larger one in the back of them letting the smaller ones charge forward.

This ambush would have been enough to throw a team caught off guard into panic and disarray, however Dee Dee knew it would likely happen and Hikari had clearly been aware of it as well, at least to Dee Dee, it was true their maybe more on the other side but at the moment they could leave that for now, if they burst out they have Kramer on flying over watch and he was easily fast enough to come in to help if that happened.

none of the goblins seemed to have ranged weapons, though Dee Dee knew they likely had sling shots and the like for back up considering how well equipped they were they might even have shortbows? but for now she turned to look at them and she took out a Sickle and pointed at them, then she charged the six goblins come at them, if it was six they were all here, if there was eight or more then some were not attacking yet, regardless her and BombDee counter charged, as they got closer Dee Dee ducked under a sword swing from a goblin aiming at her head, and she sliced it's leg with her Sickle, while BombDee rolled passed another two goblins and power punched one sending it flying back and denting it's armor. it was three on two in this fight or so the Goblins might think but as one got behind Dee Dee Jimmy tapped Dee Dee, hidden as he was the Goblins were not targeting him, but he was still helping Dee Dee by letting her know there was one behind her and Dee Dee managed to roll away from the goblins slash and parry another Goblin with her Sickle.

BombDee meanwhile was rolling and dodging as best he could, even taking the time to lay a mine for later, thankfully he was just faster then the goblins thanks to Dee Dee's buff, but it was clear they didn't have a deciding factor with just the three of them, thankfully they also managed to distract them all so Hikari was currently unoccupied which was part of Dee Dee's plan since she could attack from range while Dee Dee could brawl thanks to items and weapons she had.

Hikari

Dee Dee dodged a head strike and raised her shield to block another sword swing, this was hectic but she was waiting, and then it happened, two more goblins broke out of the bushes and attacked Hikari, that was all eight, other then the leader, Suddenly Dee Dee and her summons started to Glow as she activated her Syncrofight ability and as she rolled to the side to avoid an attack she lashed out with her sickle to hit one that was trying to attack BombDee from Behind, all the while BombDee leaped over Dee Dee and power punched the one that she just dodged a strike from their coordination increasing dramatically, Jimmy was also keeping his eyes open to give them more information on what was going on around them.

Kramer above looked down at Hikari having trouble and he swooped down, blasting the goblin with a sling with a cone of flames, it didn't kill it, but it was injured and it had to toss aside it's sling since it was burned and ruined now, Kramer having done so to help Hikari deal with the little blighter as he took higher into the air after the dive to give BombDee, Dee Dee, and Jimmy a birds eye view of the battle so they could see from all angles.

This helped as Dee Dee actually parried another attack but this time without looking behind her as BombDee rolled under her and into the legs of the goblin behind Dee Dee knocking him over and letting Dee Dee take out another Sunflower Dagger and throw it downwards into the back of the head of the goblin. Leaving them with only two living goblins left to deal with.

Hikari

Kramer circled around, and thanks to her Syncrofight skill Dee Dee could see the larger goblin leader burst out of the bushes, from above, she moved as did BombDee as she and her Summons were now all aware of where the landmine was that he placed, and so they fell back so the Charging Goblin leader would have to get near it. meanwhile theRemaining goblins glowed when the leader burst out and roared apparently buffing them. Dee Dee had to dodge an attack as they had clearly sped up, rolling back as BombDee power punched the one that attacked her, Dee Dee put the Sickle away and took out a massive Mallet from her INventory, and despite it's size she was wielding it with one hand, and she activated it's power making her glow red.

She had to block a blow from the other goblin with her shield but she knocked the sword to the side and lifted the hammer, slamming the Goblin into the air, she then quickly slammed the hammer back down Catching the goblin in mid air and slamming it back into the ground ending it in, she then spun around and threw another sunflower Dagger at the goblin BombDee had attacked, ending that one as well. They were making a good account of themselves, though she noticed Hikari doing a lot of stabs "Try to do more slashes when fighting a meaty opponent, even if they have armor you could knock them off balance and you should get your weapon stuck in them like before" the word bubble popped up with advice.

Dee Dee considered sending BombDee to help Support Hikari, but she seemed to be holding her own fine enough, perhaps it was just lack of Combat Experience? in that case letting her fight was better then coddling her, Dee Dee had healing items anyway so as long as it wasn't to bad Hikari would be fine. An explosion took her out of her thoughts and brought her back to the fight as the goblin leader stepped on the landmine BombDee had planted. but it was only damaged and not beaten, and it didn't look to banged up ether. but the metal plated boot on the foot that had stepped on the landmine was now useless and even the leader goblin just kicked it off.

"okay this one seems to understand how to handle itself.. be careful with it" she advised it was only this large one left but after the landmine it seemed to have calmed down a bit, and was clearly taking their measure. That was never good, an enemy that sized you up usually meant they had many more tricks.

Hikari

Dee Dee looked at the injured Goblin leader, The buff he gave was apparently for speed and strength not to defense or Vitality, she would have to make note of this later since it would help out others that ran into it, it meant you would have to be more careful but it didn't make the goblins under it's command any tougher or unbeatable by any margin, just meant they could likely do more damage to you then normal especially since they also seemed to come with more dangerous weapons then Goblins without a leader. Though they still only had slingshots rather then bows so it seemed it was more the Melee Goblins that had better gear over all, the ranged ones got some improvements.

She dodged a wide swing from the Larger Goblin leader, BombDee ducking under the swing, it was injured but clearly it wasn't out of the fight, it even struggled back up to it's feet the wound was bleeding but it was starting to slow down and looking the wound had mostly closed from the blood coagulating, it was interesting to note, but it still clearly caused issues with the monsters movement as it was much slower now. Though clearly the wide swing was trying to hit them all, but it was more focused on going after Hikari, that made sense considering she was the one that injured it so badly.

However Dee Dee wasn't about to allow that and so she rushed in, blocking a Sword swing with her shield, before lifting her massive hammer, a pair of glasses themed after a spider appearing in her face, and she could see a good weak point on the Goblin leader, her hammer slamming down on it to deal even more damage then before as she followed through with a spin and backside Slam with the hammer to knock the thing off balance, it wasn't down yet and it looked like it was going to get it's feet back under it and regain it's balance.

Kramer however already knew his part in this thanks to the Syncrofight ability and he flapped his wings hard, suddenly increasing his speed and he dived behind the Goblin leader, swatting at the leg he was trying to use to stabilize himself before speeding away out of reach. And with that the Large goblin fell to the ground.

Jimmy used this opportunity to hop off Dee Dee and land next to the weapon hand of the Goblin leader, where he opened him mouth and bit down HARD the bite erupting in flame for a moment before he was tossed by the Golbin, but so was it's weapon, Kramer catching Jimmy in the air so they wouldn't get to injured.

BombDee took action next hopping up and landing on the Goblin leader and hitting him with a Double Power punch, knocking the wing out of him and then hitting him in the face before rolling off him as the monster tried to grab him though it was much more sluggish then before.

Dee Dee then looked at the creature and activated one of her skills to give her stats a boost, she then took out two more of the sunflower shaped Throwing Daggers, and she threw them into the head of the Goblin leader, the beast tried to get up, but it's hand faltered... lowered... then fell as it was defeated.. or rather it was out of strength it was still alive if only barely.

But the glow on Dee Dee and her summons faded and it was clear that doing all that had tired Dee Dee as her legs were shaky and she and her summons backed away from the large Goblin leader "Hikari Finish it off.. please" the word bubble popped up beside Dee Dee, as she made sure her and her summons gave Hikari all the room she would need to give the Goblin leader a send off.
