Akane normally wasn't the type to visit Paris. She had of course been there before in the old world as the life of an assassin took one all over the place. However, Paris had always been one of her least favorite places to go. It always had too many people around all the time not to mention it always seemed to be littered with trash. The only reason the Raven-haired woman was there now was because she heard rumors that it wasn't always open in this new world she found herself living in.

So she figured she'd at least visit it once and well so far she wasn't overly thrilled with her choice. It was still as crowded as normal and just as dirty. the crimson-eyed assassin would let out a small sigh before looking up as a quest popped up in front of her. It seemed like they needed help cleaning up around the town and it seemed like if she did so she'd get some type of coin. Akane would let out one more sigh before accepting the quest. After all, she could clean at least this street. With the quest accepted, she would start the slow process of picking up trash. The skeletal spirit she was bounded with helping with its own boney hands on top of her own.

Dee Dee had arrived in Paris since she figured she could lend a hand here, and on getting here she found a mission to help clean the place, that seemed like a good place to start to get her some familiarity with the place, not to mention it only just opened not to long ago so she needed to add info to her beginners guide, so this would help with that, and so she was there with her summons out to help her do the work required, and so Dee Dee had taken some time to set up her cart, not her food fart, just a cart, and getting it ready for the trash even prepping a tarp, and with that she started to go around the streets picking up trash in the Flax bags she had, Kramer, and BombDee helping out with that, while Jimmy was helping by looking around for more. As she turned a corner though she noticed her map had an ally ping and she looked over and seen the woman, she pulled her cart over to her and her word bubble popped up "Hello there, I think we have the same mission! I'm Dee Dee, these are my friends Kramer, BombDee and Jimmy!" the word bubble filled in with the words rather then Dee Dee actually saying anything, and as their names popped up the Summons each greeted her in different ways. BombDee gave a Salute, Kramer gave a wave and a happy roar, and Jimmy nodded to her, all while the three of them continue to pick up or look for trash and put it in the flax bags. Akane Hayashi |

The cleaning was going surprisingly well for Akane. It certainly helped that the connection with a skeletal spirit basically have her an extra set of everything after all four arms were better than just two. It also meant she didn't have to touch the more disgusting trash such as half-eaten food and the likes the skeleton arms did that for her without even a word of complaint. As she was throwing away a group of cups into a now-full trashcan Akane would turn around as she heard footsteps coming her way.

The Raven-haired woman would blink in surprise as someone who looked like a child came into view and spoke to her with some sort of bubble. Akane would blink a few times as she saw the summons give their own greetings before regaining her composure and bowing in greeting to the other person the bones wrapped around her mimicking her movements as if they were a part of her. "I'm Akane Hayashi but most people just call me Akane." The assassin wasn't surprised she had a partner as it seemed it was a common thing in this new world. It seemed the Kami had blessed her with a partner that could summon things which meant that they could in theory work five times as fast if all of them worked on picking up the trash. "So Dee Dee how did you want to split up the work?"

Dee Dee looked up to her and looked around at the area around "Nice to meet you Akane! as for the work I think we can handle picking things up, and looking, all of use can do that, but for the messy things I have shovels and rakes, and some grabbers all hand made so we don't have to get all dirty, I also have some basic Flax gloves, not the most comfy but they can help keep our hands clean, I can pull the cart, and we can put all the trash in the cart and take it to the designated dump area that's on the map!" the message in the Word Bubble informed Akane. She took out the tools in question and the gloves, she was ready to get this work done, and she passed the tools to her summons as well so they could collect the garbage faster, happily cleaning as Dee Dee looked at her, quite happy to help clean the place "Well lets get to work since we can deal with this nice and quickly!" she says with the Word bubble and nods. Akane would listen as Dee Dee listed off all the tools and supplies she had brought along to use. It seemed her partner was more prepared than the Raven-haired woman was. Then again Akane hadn't really planned on cleaning up trash as it wasn't exactly the line of work she normally did. As Dee Dee handed out the tools and gloves Akane would take a rake but not the gloves.

"You can keep the gloves my other arms can pick up the more disgusting trash." The golden-eyed woman would then motion to her skeletal arms before setting to work. She started off by raking the trash into a pile before using a shovel to scoop it up and dump it into the cart.

"You came pretty prepared for work like this. Did you know in advance about this quest? If so this there a way to look at these types of things in advance?" As much as Akane didn't like to admit it there was still much of this new world she didn't know and she knew if she wanted to survive for long she'd have to learn as much as she could as fast as possible.

Dee Dee nodded as she started to help her summons by pulling the cart along for them to put any filled bags into as she also helped to pick up some garbage with the grippers and a rake to collect it into one place to make it easier to be picked up, and the bags they had were slowly filling as they worked, and the cart was slowly filling with filled bags and loose trash, BombDee started to bag up the loose trash in the cart as well to make it neater and easier to fit more bags in, even as it was getting loaded up Dee Dee didn't seem bothered by the weight of the cart. "Oh I always have these with me, I run a food cart so having these around to clean the area after business is done, have to make sure the area is clean after all" she clarified though there was a way to know about quests in advance "Oh youmust be new! here this may help answer a lot of question!" she says as she hands her a "Waddle-Dee Dee's Beginners guide to the system" with a Waddle-dee version of Dee Dee on the cover with a Word Bubble coming from it with the words "Lets Learn Together" and the book was obviously hand made and it had "Don't Panic" written in Big Friendly letters on the back cover. If she looked inside she would see a lot of advice on quests to take to get points for every day living, as well as all the systems she could access such as the quest panel to see what quests were available in certain area's, and even a bestiary in the back, it even had a survival section that listed helpful plants and hint and tips on camping and the like. all in very easy to read wording and even diagrams that were well made. Akane nodded along as DeeDee explained that the reason she was so well prepared was the fact she ran a food cart. It made sense after all in the old world that was how it was supposed to be. Though she supposed she should stop comparing the new world she lived to the old one. As Dee Dee handed over the guide book the raven-haired assassin would look over the book. It was clearly well made and judging by the fact Dee Dee seemed to be on the cover it was safe to assume they made it.

Akane would then split her focus between cleaning up the trash and reading the book at the same time. It was clear that Dee Dee had put quite a bit of time to put together given how detailed the whole book was. It was unlikely she'd have enough time to read the book. Even if she was able to she doubted she'd had been able to remember all of it. So she'd instead focus on the more important aspects such as systems she had access to as well as points and camping spots.

After a few more minutes of reading, she'd return the book to its own as the streets were nearly fully clean. "That's quite the book you have. Thank you for letting me read it. Also, it seems like our work here is done. So all that's left is to drop the trash off at the designated dump area."

Dee Dee blinked a bit looking at the book she was handed back, then she looked back at Akane taking her hand and placing the book back in her hands "No this book is for you to keep, I have lots of Copies and I hand them out to everyone I meet if they are new, and even if they are not new it's very handy to have such a resource to cover things you may not have learned yet, this book is for you, and don't even think about giving it back I have plenty!" the word bubble informed her as she emphasized this by taking out a large stack of guides all clearly hand made and all hand bound, before she put them back in to her Inventory. She then looked over the street and yet it was indeed clean, she checked the mission panel and it read clean, all they had to do was deposit the trash in the indicated location and so Dee Dee nodded "We are supposed to take the trash over here! so Lets go!" the word bubble filled in as Dee Dee Threw an arm in the air like a little cheer before pulling the cart along, even though they were counted as done her Summons continued to pick up and bag garbage as they traveled so that they made sure it was as clean as possible. As they got to the location the Mission told them to take the Trash, Dee Dee and her summons started to put the bags in the spot they were told to, apparently it was some sort of incinerator, well that was one handy way to get rid of the trash that was for sure, and it would kill any germs or the like that was hanging around on it meaning over all it would make it the safest disposal method, As she was tossing bags in from the rather over filled Cart she looked to Akane "Keep that book with you it can be really handy! Also it has the address to my blog you can go to that has a Further FAQ and updates! I will also be putting out updated version of the Bestiary and field guide as I learn more things so always keep an eye out for my food cart to get the newest edition... oh right you can find my food cart when I set it up cause it will appear as a Tomato on your area map!" the Word bubble filled in with the message as the small girl remained as silent as always. Akane would then watch as Dee Dee's summons finished throwing the rest of the trash in the incinerator before she got an alert that the quest was complete. As Dee Dee informed her that she planned on making updates to the books as well as where to find her food cart Akane nodded along. "I'll make sure to keep an eye out for the updates as well as your food cart. However for now we must part ways. Maybe the Kami bless your travels." With that, Akane would then part ways with Dee Dee.

Dee Dee waved to Akane as the word bubble popped up "Don't mention it, I try to help everyone I come across if I can, it's the best way to make the most out of the new world after all, if we all pitch in and work together we can do great things and much more of those great things to help as many as possible!" she was happy she could help, the Guides seemed to be the biggest help for people, then again she found many people were unaware of many of the functions of the system and some only new the basics, and even more knew nothing of it, so if this little book could help people then all the more important that she make more of it. Dee Dee was glad to hear she would keep an eye out as Kramer lit the incinerator, the mission was already done once they tossed them in but Dee Dee wanted to make sure it was all dealt with first.
