Kael found himself staring into the sunset that was just starting its descent. It seems that even in this new world of theirs, the sunsets here in Los Angeles were still something to behold. In truth, he had never been to Los Angeles, having been poor and never having enough money to travel. And yet, in this new world, he was able to travel wherever the system has a connection to, which is to say, almost everywhere. It was one of the perks which he truly enjoyed. He could finally see the world![break][break]
Breaking his stare, he turned his attention towards the people around him. He was still homeless, but at least here in Los Angeles, he was safe. A Safe Zone, after all, somewhat guarantees that he wouldn't be jumped by people. They can't fight him, and therefore he could relax a bit. But truly, he was still as alert as ever. He has had some close brushes with weirdos who tried to sell him things that he was sure were scams. There were still some who tried to jump him just as he was leaving the Safe Zone during his stay in Europe. He learned, therefore, to be constantly vigilant of his surroundings.[break][break]
Speaking of vigilance, he found himself smelling something in the air. It smelt...good! He turned his attention behind him, and realized that someone was cooking something, and people were lining up. How odd! There was a food stand here?[break][break]
Without hesitation, Kael moved towards the food stand, only to find a familiar face. "You! Dee Dee!" He exclaimed out loud as he rushed towards the girl and waved enthusiastically. "How's it going? And what's this?" Gesturing to the ensemble around Dee Dee.

Dee Dee had found a nice place to set up her food cart, a nice park, lots of pre existing seating, nice sunny day, some grass to sit on if you wanted to, it was perfect! And so Dee Dee set up her Food cart with the help of her friends it was up and running with the extra seating and tables set out thanks to BombDee, and they had the tomato decorations on them so they knew which ones were the ones they brought, then she started to get customers as they noticed her cart, some even recognizing her, and she started cooking to make food for the customers slowly starting to form a line as the smell of cooking food caught their attention. She cooked up many different orders with the help of BombDee as Kramer and Jimmy rested since they couldn't really help with the cooking portion of things, well Kramer could but only if they needed to get something up to temperature quickly and Jimmy was usually used to deal with left overs as he seemed to not only not mind but actually liked to, likely cause he was always hungry quickly being a larva and all so they helped in their own ways. And it was while she was dealing with this line of customers that she heard a voice call her name, which wasn't to strange a lot of people that knew her food cart knew her name by this point but it was how they called it and drew attention, from both her and from the people in line. Looking over she spotted Mikael and she waved to him as she handed a meal out to another customer before stopping to type out a message. "This is my Food Cart the Maximum Tomato! see the sign? and I have a menu full of Tomato based Meals, as well as a normal menu of course.. though personally I advise you to try the Tomatonator meal" she gave a little thumbs up as she sent the message then resumed making orders for others, BombDee helping a great deal with the speed of getting things out. And in fact there was a sign above the Food Cart a Large Tomato Shaped Sign with "Maximum Tomato" written across it just as Dee Dee had said and the menu just below that Mikael |

Kael read the sign that said MAXIMUM TOMATO. He had been unsure about it all. He supposed that it was possible for people to own their own "business" in this place. And yet, from what he'd seen, there were NPCs for everything! But then again, why not support players instead of giving points or money to an NPC. Kael could see the merit in it, though he was now very curious.[break][break]
Dee Dee, He started, looking towards the line, this is amazing! Kael's smile widened as he looked around. Having a food stand was such a fantastic idea. He had not thought about the fact that, yes, people will want to eat at something that feels like home. Food trucks, anyone?[break][break]
"I've gotta hand it to you, this is a great idea. I'm curious though, Kael paused a moment, "Where do you get the tomatoes? Do you farm them yourself? If so, are there player-ran farms out there?" Now that would be very interesting indeed! Player-ran farms? That would change the way players can get their supplies!

Dee Dee continued to make food for the customers as Mikael commented on the line of people as she and BombDee worked quickly to get food out for everyone, and thankfully everyone was understanding though they were eager to get their food as she put the food out it was quickly taken up and taken to different seats to enjoy the meals, all while Dee Dee and BombDee continued to work, making Ramen, fast fry porkchops, mashed potatoes, tomato soup, salads, a lot of different foods which alone would have been overwhelming but with BombDee's help she was able to get them out quickly.. granted they ran into each other now and again, but they always managed to catch the food before it could be dropped. Once the line died down and started to clean some of the utensils they used for cooking while BombDee started to clean the dishes that had come in. Dee Dee looked over to Mikael as he started to talk to her, he seemed to wonder where she got the tomatoes and so she opened a window and started to type him a message "Thank you, I got the Idea when I realized that some people couldn't get food from the hub or anything cause they didn't make points or didn't know how, and so the food Cart started like that and during that time I would teach them about the system, but it was a bit hard to do it that way so I started to make the Book! and handing that out! and so I still go to those area's to help people that don't understand the system, thankfully since I made the books it seems those places are getting smaller as they all start to learn how to get points and how to use the system, but people are always coming out of their Tutorials so there will always be some people that need some pointers, they also don't have to pay for the food from the cart and I usually fix some buildings in those area's so they have places to sleep and leave some extra food so they have something to eat, that's where it all started". She sent that message and then sent a second one "As for where I get the Tomatoes, I get them from a gardener friend of mine, and their Farmer friend! they have been really helpful in me getting my supplies! I help them get supplies in return, things you can't buy from the shops, and the like" she sent the second message and then gave him a thumbs up. Mikael |
