Kitty was slowly becoming comfortable leaving her shop, after being reassured by Jeanne and other visitors that Unison City was completely safe. There were still a lot of strange people doing strange things, but at least it wasn't actively dangerous. Nothing as horrible as a petting zoo or anything.

Currently the shopkeep was being lead down the street by the hand, as Jeanne dragged her about to check out some of their competition. Kitty wasn't used to competing with other merchants, or caring about sales numbers at all. The thought that someone buying from a different store instead of from her might be a bad thing was quite alien.

"Please, Jeanne-Marie...I really don't think we have anything to worry about." She sighed, but turned the next corner, to see the next line of shops. Only to pull up short as her companion stopped dead in her tracks. "...what's wrong?"

It took her a moment to follow the pink-haired girl's gaze, realizing she was gawking at...what seemed to be another small child, staring back at her from across the road.

Dee Dee hadn't been to Unison central before, mostly because from what she heard this safe zone was mostly fine, less need to come here to help people unlike places like London or Los Angels, however with a lot of her work there she realized that just because those places needed help the most, they were not the only places with people that didn't understand the system! So with that in mind she had taken her food cart to the City well technically it was in her inventory in parts at the moment, but as she got to the city itself she started to put it together Summoning Kramer, BombDee, and Jimmy to help her put it together. It took a bit of time but eventually the cart was assembled and they were able to get it rolling once more, and off into the City Dee Dee and her friends went to find a good place to set up, Traveling around the city she thought she found good places but there was few people, and so she continued looking, though she would stop from time to time to make something quick for someone as she did so. Eventually she found a place with a lot of shops around and best of all a little park area, and so she set up there, since the shops seemed somewhat busy and the park had some seating like benches and picnic tables, this would be a perfect spot, and so she set to work setting the cart up fully, unfolding things and setting the different cook stations up all while BombDee Set out the Chairs and tables that she brought with her. Kramer meanwhile was flying around setting up signs to advertise the little food stand, as well as place the large Tomato Shaped sign up on top of the cart that displayed the name of the food cart as well as the new Menu signs showing both the "Specialty Menu" which was all the tomato based options and the "Normal Menu" which had more normal fair. Jimmy meanwhile was helping by stocking the cook stations with wood or charcoal so they could be brought to temperature once they started to get customers, and it was Dee Dee that lit those to get them going, Kramre of course could breath on it later to give it that extra burst of heat if they needed it. Finally with everything set up Dee Dee started to take customers, which started to show up rather quickly once she got cooking, BombDee helping with the cooking and order taking, while Kramer and Jimmy rested on their beds in the cart, Kramer's closer to the cooking surfaces so he didn't have to go far to use his flames on them if needed. and Jimmy was higher up and a bit further away to keep him away from the heat. As she took orders and filled them with the help of BombDee. Dee Dee noticed two people come around the corner, a taller woman who was apparently being lead around by a little girl, and the little girl seemed to be looking directly at Dee Dee, so Dee Dee did what was only natural for her. It would have seemed there was a misunderstanding as they walked into a market square. Pulling Kitty along as she had only grown more excited to see more of the market that was slowly seeming to grow here in the Unison Central that the two had grown accustomed to calling their current home. Jeanne was bouncing back a lot faster though, and the child had been nothing if not consistant in trying to get the shopkeeper to leave her store to come talk to the people in this city.

As they had come to a new section of the city she had grown even more excited as the stalls started to appear and rounding a single corner she was forced to gape at the sight in front of her. A lady using her summons to help cook and shuffle food amongst those that were visiting. That... That was genius! She had to recruit this person to her guild she planned to open with Kitty for sure! She definitely needed to do that!

Kitty wasn't quite sure that Jeanne was so excited about. Then again, children loved mascot characters and things advertised with cartoons, right? For all her financial savvy, she was still a kid, and probably getting bored with nothing but books in the shop. Might as well indulge her this time.

"Yes, yes, we can get in line. We have a few points to spare, now that the shop's properly opened." She was bent forward slightly as Jeanne dragged her along, before the two queued up. While she wasn't a fan of waiting in line with so many other people, it did give her time to watch the girl and her summons work.

Kitty did not seem to be a fan of the summons working at the cart, but did her best to keep her expression neutral while she watched. "I...don't think my shop needs a mascot." Although, now that she thought about it, didn't she already have one?

As Dee Dee and BombDee worked on the orders of the people in line, it was starting to become apparent that they were quite used to this, despite the fact that there was quite the crowd the two of them worked quickly and efficiently to put out food in a reasonable time, though what also became obvious was most people were avoiding the Tomato based menu except for a few people, and they would see a few "Tomatonators" leave the stand, apparently a large burger with cheese and a large roasted and seasoned tomato on it, making the burger quite large but not totally unwieldly, and all meals for the most part were getting sides of fries or onions rings and different fruit juices to drink. The Two worked very well switching off duties rather easily as they added things to the grill or the deep fryer they had, and switching over to make salads as well, and it was rather well done too, as they didn't bump into each other to often, though when they did it ended up with a comical little flailing from both Dee Dee and BombDee for a half second before they regained their balance and moved on to keep working. The Line continued to shrink and Kitty and Jeanne would see that a series of tables and chairs that had Tomato carvings in them where placed around near the already existing Benches and Picnic tables in the park, clearly they had been brought and set up by the Food Cart workers to allow for ample seating, and they even had table umbrellas for the high sun if people wanted. Clearly this set up had been though about for some time. Eventually the two got tot he front of the line and Dee Dee waved to them and held up a notebook with the words "What would you like to order?" written on it. and off to the side was a sign they hadn't seen before but could now see thanks to being at the front of the line also read "if you are new to the system and need help with it, Ask for a Waddle-Dee Dee's Beginner's guide to the System Available here! free on request!" The menu could use work... the lady not talking probably gave a slightly less personable impression then was good for this situation, and the food reeked of american... what had Papa called it... oil craziness? Grease love? It had been something! It was unhealthy foods that she honestly didn't see, and fruit juice had never been a big contender for her. In that sense she would look up to see if Kitty wanted anything, then looked back at the menu.

The girl loved business, but she honestly wasn't super fond of messy situations or food and this place seemed like it was a lot of messy food. Kitty honestly hadn't been expecting this reaction from the child. The look on her face was a surprise. She assumed all children enjoyed messy food, although she didn't actually associate with kids all that often. Not even her nieces and nephews. She had to think about this for a moment.

Dee Dee looked at the shorter of the two girls that had come up to her Food cart, One was taller then her, and the other was actually shorter, she then blinked a moment, then up to her menu then back at the shorter of the two, then she blinked again then looked back up to her menu as if trying to figure out what she meant by it all looked like messy food. Dee Dee then looked over to BombDee to see if he knew and the Waddle-dee shrugged, a gesture which Dee Dee Returned before looking back at the two and blinking a bit more. Thankfully it seemed the taller of the two girls, apparently named Kitty, Asked for a salad, and with extra Tomatoes! Dee Dee nodded rapidly as she started to work on the salad, as the girl asked for a large Salad Dee Dee started to whip one up, BombDee also helped by prepping the other ingredients for the salad, and holding them as Dee Dee chopped and prepped them, and as soon as she was done with one BombDee placed the next ingredient on the cutting board for Dee Dee to deal with. Once BombDee's hands were empty he rushed over to the spot with all the bowls and plates and got one for the large salad placing that to the side for Dee Dee as he then started to mix together a small selection of dressings on the side, since the Woman didn't specify, the Waddle-dee simply prepared and portioned a little of each into different containers. Dee Dee started to toss the salad with the tomatoes, making sure to add extra and to toss it all properly so it was all properly mixed, Then BombDee came rushing over with the small containers of Dressing just as Dee Dee got to the front counter with the salad and the utensils and they placed them all neatly in front of the two girls Dee Dee opened a message window and tried to send a message to kitty but apparently her name wasn't kitty.. so she couldn't send her a message, so instead she closed the system window and took out her notepad once more and wrote on it. "Here is your Salad, we have a few different dressings here, all hand made, you didn't say which you wanted so we prepped a little side sampler for you, if you like a specific one we can bring more to your table if you are going to eat at one of them, you can tell our tables and chairs by the Tomatoes carved into the wood they are made from, Also I am Dee Dee nice to meet you! I would be typing out a message in the system but I need to know your name to do so! Also... umm.. what about my food is messy?" the message on the note pad read as she turned it around for the two to read. For all her business prowess, she had only really begun reading contracts a few months prior to the accident so her speed was not voracious enough to answer immediately to it. Less so when Kitty had her attention on the matter of trying to order. Jeanne would shake her head, "I just wanted to see what they sold here! I think the guide could be good for others who have to fight more than us merchant-types. If you wanna get one though Kitty I can read it to you! And uh... tomatoes can be really messy, sorry. Can I have one of the tomato juices here? I'm curious to what tomato and honey tastes like together."

Kitty kept an eye on the girl and her...pet? This new world was strange. Anyway, she kept an eye on them as they worked on her order. The food cart was surprisingly well managed, considering it seemed fairly makeshift. And was run by a child. She was honestly impressed, and felt more comfortable ordering here than she had at several food trucks and hole-in-the-wall restaurants back in the city.

Kitty adjusted her glasses to look it over. "Ah. It's Kathryne, but everyone calls me Kitty." It took her a few tries to open the system menu, but then finding Dee Dee's name and sending her a friend request was easy enough. If the child had some sort of disability or difficulty speaking, it would be rude to not accommodate her.

Kitty smiled patiently while using the system connection to also send the proper payment for the food and drink. Dee Dee looked at the two as the request for her Guide book was made as well as a cup of Tomato Juice! The request for the Drink made Dee Dee nod rapidly as she then got to work on making it, though a system pop up came up and she seen the woman had sent her a friend request, so she accepted and quickly sent her a message using the system "Hello and thank you for your first meal at the Maximum Tomato... Oh and here have the points back, the first meal is always free! I do this to help out those that may be fresh from their tutorials, or to help people that may be haven't been able to get a properly prepared meal in a while, so don't worry about payment this time" she sent the points back to Kathryne and gave her a thumbs up as she resumed making the tomato Juice. BombDee meanwhile fished out a few things to get the cart ready for a new influx of customers, making sure the cleaned dishes were dried and put back into their stacks for ease of reach when the amount of customers came up once more, and once that was done the little Waddle-dee looked around for something to do. Dee Dee in the middle of Prepareing the Tomato Juice took a tomato and gave one to Kramer, Jimmy, and BombDee the three happily eating the little treats as Dee Dee finished the tomato juice and put it on the counter for Jeanne-Marie as well as taking out one of the Guide books which had a hand drawn cover, and the title "Waddle-Dee Dee's Beginners Guide to the system!" with a little Waddle-Dee version of Dee Dee on it giving a thumbs up with a word bubble coming from it that said "Lets Learn together!"[/b] with all that handed over Dee Dee gave a little thumbs up to the small girl. if opened the guide book would have rather well drawn hand made pictures and diagrams as well as well written instructions on how to access the systems many features, such as friends lists, the system shop and what it offered, how to get points in safer ways such as non-combat missions, how to access the message system and User Forum for making a blog or other things of that nature, even how to get to the Waddle-Dee Dee blog to ask further questions on their, all of it was basic functions and written to avoid any jargon that a person that didn't know much about games could understand, as well as even explain lingo they might hear others using with a full glossary in the back for such terms and their meanings. The girl excitedly waiting for her juice before taking it from the counter with both hands and carrying it to the table and setting it down gingerly as to not spill a drop.

Eyes glazing as she sipped her juice and began to read somewhat into the system, but the only part of it that really mattered to her was the part on guilds and guild upgrades still being a mystery. She actually found this really neat, especially because she could kind of see how she could build a business up that would. She would need to start something like this up again soon.

Giving a memorable experience their first visit was a tried and true business tactic, so while Kitty was surprised, she quietly accepted the free meal. With a nod, she settled in at the chosen table, watching Jeanne-Marie to ensure she made it over with her juice unspilled. At least the two younger girls seemed to be getting along.

the book was clearly hand made and written as well, even the little diagrams and directions for things like how to make a guild was hand drawn, with little Waddle-Dee Dee's pointing things out, to help people understand, of course that was because Dee Dee had made ones with a bit more cuteness to them for younger readers like Jeanne-Marie, and when they asked about them she made sure to give one the children ones, though the difference was in the art and the Waddle-Dee Dee used, rather then the contents, as it still used the same content but explained so a child could grasp it easily as well. At the Food Cart Dee Dee was now dealing with a swarm of Customers, her and BombDee working quickly and only tripping over each other a few times, but nothing got spilled and no one got injured, but the smell of the cooking food was easily wafting through the park, Hamburgers, Fries, Crepes, Roasted Potatoes... Waffles. If it was fried, boiled, baked, or any other means other then frozen Dee Dee was able to make it so long as she had the ingredients, Granted she wasn't a master chef, anyone specialized could easily out do her, but she was Good at least, and that was clearly enough for the people around at the moment. During the Flurry of activity someone asked for a Tomatonator Meal and Dee Dee made it was gusto as she got the ingredients ready with the Help of BombDee, getting everything toasted just right, roasting the Tomato and spicing it perfectly for her favorite food to make, and the fries were only lightly salted but just enough to bring out the flavor, this was likely the only food Dee Dee could be called a master at as the Tomatonator was something she learned to make before all this happened due to her love of Tomatoes and not being able to find any food like the Tomatonator anywhere so she made it herself! With the order out she gave the person an eager thumbs up and BombDee set to work on the Dishes while Dee Dee busied herself with cleaning the cooktops and serving area's, Kramer was napping happily, and the group seemed to be quite content with the work they did, and she looked over to see if Kitty had decided on if she wanted more of any once dressing yet or not.
