Although the shoeless girl seemed to be doing alright mentally, possibly the two of them were both doing far better mentally than they should be. After all they have done quite well mentally seeing as neither of them has a great idea about what was going on. [break][break]
However beyond how they were both managing to hold up mentally, it seemed like the other girl's class wasn't nearly as straight forward as Alessandra's was. With how Alessandra had a general idea of how her class was supposed to function just from a simple read over. But maybe the other girl's class just happened to be more complicated? She wasn't entirely sure, she just hoped she wasn't stuck with a partner that wouldn't be able to defend themselves. Not that she had shown that so far. Just a small worry anytime your life is on the line with someone you don't know. And for someone that liked to plan everything out like she did, it was the worst case scenario.[break][break]
As the girl would start talking about setting up an ambush, Alessandra would shake her head. Ambushes were certainly her style and she wasn't sure if the other girl had taken that into account, or just that thats where her mind intiially went. But as she was attempting to smash the glass, it certainly was enough noise that they could hear the duo racing down the hall to where the noise was coming from. Alessandra quickly putting herself near the doorway as she'd wait for the duo to come in, nodding her head to her teammates last statement.[break][break]
As soon as the first one would round the door he'd start to say "Got y-!" *Before suddenly finding himself brought down to one knee, claw marks digging into his hamstring as he'd see a blonde girl smiling up at him "Heya!" She'd say as he'd attempt to swing his rifle around, before she'd use her other hand to push it back to the side, forcing the first bullet to fire inbetween the two girls as she'd hope her partner was going to be coming quickly to help out.[break][break]

It didn't take long for the groups answer to be met. As the sounds of wolves and wings was easily heard. However, until they came into vision Alessandra couldn't tell if it was one creature that was both, or two seperate. Something she was starting to learn is that this world was full of mystery and wonder. That she didn't know what was happening with the creatures of the wild but that she knew that something weird was going on. Luckily for her though, the other two would be even quicker on their feet as Hikari was the first to react with pulling her swords and fans forward. [break][break]
Though of course, it was the enemies that decided to attack first. With the wolves and birds flying out from the nearby forest. However, Hikari would immediately jump into action. Though she also was attacking the wolves. Saying that she would leave the... flying birds... to the two of them. Which would be alright. If Alessandra would actually do anything about things flying in the air.[break][break]
Setting down the box she was carrying herself, she'd look over to Akane, who she was supposed to be fighting the birds against and say to her "Yano, I don't know about you but I can't really do anything about the ones that are flying." She'd say to her counterpart.[break][break]
However, that detriment would be short lived as rather than remove somebodies spine, the assassin would take out a sword and after slicing off the wings of a few of the birds Alessandra would look over. "Yeah I can deal with those now." She'd say with a smile to the girl as she'd do a small hop into a run, letting the shadows start to swirl around her as she'd run at the now flightless birds. Charging the closest one she'd run up to it. As it was attempting to regain it's senses she'd use the fact that she had small nails of shadow to once again nick the small creature, running her claws down it's back. And although it wasn't very deep, it was enough damage after Akane's earlier swipe to bring the first of the downed birds... well, down.[break][break]

With this being her first mission, Alessandra wasn't totally prepared for whatever needed to happen afterwards. Though luckily, DeeDee would be quick to clear that up as she'd explain that after the head count, and whomever wanted meat from these to be able to take them, or something? But she knew she probably wouldn't want that as she'd say suddenly find one of the little creatures of Dee Dee's waddling up to her and giving a wave. Looking at it and following after it as she didn't think that they needed help carrying it when the giant ant also came over and started to help carry everything. [break][break]
Though as she was approaching, it seemed like everyone was interested in taking something. So maybe she had gone about this in the entirely wrong way? Maybe everyone was supposed to take something? She wasn't entirely sure but she figured she'd speak up saying "Sure I'll take something that's leftover. Nothing really jumps out screaming that I want it." She'd say back to the leader as well as Idir who was talking about butchering and taking a full body and studying and this and that. She at least understood that sentiment particularly well, and with a nod figured that although she had no say, she respected what he wanted a body for. [break][break]
Though turning to the lady who seemed to land off the dove that had orgionally perched itself upon her shoulder she'd look over and offer a smile. "Of course it was fantastic, the way you dealt with the boars quite well." Before turning to the rest of the group. "So is that it?" She'd ask. [break][break]

Well, one thing seemed alright to Alessandra as well as she'd look at the girl as she'd respond to the comment about the spine. It seemed like she had no idea what the hell was going on either with that. Seemingly showing that neither of them had a clue about what was going on with that.... well rather awkward question. "I feel that.... Isn't.... Yano nevermind." She'd finally just decide that once agani, she'd probably just rather not know whatever was going on in that girl's head as opposed to whatever answer would have been given. She figured it wouldn't kill her so it would probably be fine. [break][break]
Turning to look at Akane though she'd point to one on the deck that she had already taken a bite out of that she had killed and said "One. So that mean's you have to think about it then." She'd say with a smile to the other girl. Even if she didn't wait for the response, she had to get her credit where it was due.[break][break]
However, once the notification window popped up showing that it was going to be a list of menial tasks, mainly that of a supply run, Alessandra got a bit more excited. While it semed like Miss Hikari was already used to and over these kinds of tasks, this is the first of this kind that Alessandra had ever gotten. Not only that, but her light research into what a video game was showed her that these were the kinds of quests that happened all the time. So while the others may not have been as happy she was surely fine with it.[break][break]
She certainly wasn't overly strong, and in fact, was one of the weakest of the group as the other two seemed to be lifting much heavier boxes than she was. Though not like she was going to let that fact stop her as she'd continue walking with the other two. Akane's voice though would suddenly break through, saying that blood had been spilled recently and that they should be ready for a fight. Alessandra not responding to the girl, but still giving her a small nod in affirmation that she was ready to help out if needed. Well, sure it would be needed but with being able to help with whatever was in her power to help with.[break][break]

As Alessandra would watch the apparently not-a-princess princess stare at one of the final few combatants. It almost seemed like the girl was mocking it. Exerting the fact that this monster was no mere threat to her and that she was not going to be treating it as such anyway. Though she would finally end the creature with a few swift, well, is it strikes if you're using multiple, floating, hovering blades? Whatever term she wanted the creature was pretty quickly disposed of once she decided that her time playing with it was over. "Miss Hikari it is then." She'd say with a smile to the clearly more powerful qirl. [break][break]
Though with the other girl speaking up Alessandra would also be quick to respond as she'd say back to her. "Well, I figured that you had plans already for that one and you seem to be rather enjoying yourself with it." She'd say back rather plainly to her, since well, she did seem to be one that rather reveled in the thoughts and tides of battle. "Isn't that part of being a team is having faith in your partners?" She'd say as well with a smile to her before addressing the next question that was naturally waged. "So are you two familiar with each other from before this then?" She'd ask towards the pair of them. [break][break]
"What fun do you think would happen later?" She'd ask to Akane before... what was that about a spine? Taking a second to process it, she ultimately decided. She really didn't know what the answer to that could possibly be and well, she ultimately figured any answer wasn't really one that she wanted to hear. [break][break]
Looking out past the end of the boat though she'd say to the group. "Whatever you may feel though, we'll be on land in a minute or two here." She'd say before adding "So whatever final preparations you have to take with the ship before landing I'd do now." She'd recommend to the duo. [break][break]

Well, her questions were certainly being answered as she had a few free moments to look at the other two. The creature in front of her already being handicapped enough as she'd look at the two that she was paired with. Seeing how the one that she initially was told was a princess was able to easily murder the invaders with single swings of her swords. Would it even be called swings if they were moving with the power of her mind? She wasn't entirely sure but either way, clearly she was the strongest she though, if she was able to answer her questions about being a princess in the middle of the fight.[break][break]
Though that wasn't to say that the other girl was some sort of slouch as she was holding her own as well. And basically just solidifying, at least to Alessandra, that she was going to be the weakest one here. As she would instead drop her cloak of shadows, the wisps around her elongating her claws. And creating a maw of shadows over her own as she'd use both to tear into the creature. Claws of shadow driving through it's chest and her fangs driving into the neck of the creature, finishing it in one blow as she'd drop her guise again and look towards the other two. Not just at them, but at how much more they were able to accomplish in such a smaller amount of time. Making her wonder just how much higher of a level were they than her. "So if not a princess do you perhaps have some sort of other title?" She'd ask to the girl, just to see if there was maybe just a nuance or clarification to her designation. "She seems to be mighty set on at least referring to you as 'Lady'. She'd make sure to add in as it seemed like she would be the one to take care of the final attacker, taking some time to take a small splash of sea water that had washed up and cupping some in her hands, trying to use it to get rid of some of the viscera she found herself slowly getting covered in.[break][break]

As soon as Alessandra started running from the Boar that decided it was going to at least take one of the humans out with the loss of their own life, there would suddenly be a card flying from above from the girl on the Dove's back. With the card detonating and easily dealing with the boar, Alessandra would stop and breathe in a sigh of relief just in time to see that Dee Dee would send out a message to the group showing that they actually only had to kill a few of the boars since the boss had done something? Or more like the big one's death had caused the others to start returning to normal or something? She hadn't been here long enough to know the full intricacies and details but she figured that she'd just listen to the one in charge.[break][break]
Honestly, as she continued to watch, she'd start to realize that she didn't actually need to do that much. The rest of the team and people who were pretty much a higher level than her seemed to be cleaning up enough that one of the people that was clearly the strongest even seemed to be kicking back and relaxing even as their tank would launch some sort of large area of effect skill.[break][break]
However, what she wasn't expecting was for the boar she had just taken a few steps away from to suddenly explode. Not knowing how or why that happened as she'd look a mixture of confused and panicked. She didn't think anyone else was around but she couldn't tell for certain. As soon as the pair would start moving, away from whomever had heard them. With the now barefooted woman following her close behind, the two would make a quick departure from the area that was closely having the dust settled and a separate team bearing down on that location. Or well, at least one. Maybe if they were lucky multiple teams would have heard the collapse and then they might just fight each other. One can only hope at least. [break][break]
"Agreed. Information is key after all and we have almost none of it." She'd say back to the girl that was seemingly her partner.
Hoping they'd have some time to learn about each other as well as the predicament they were in. It isn't like she knew much going into this after all. However, she didn't think many of them did know either, and she hoped that this lack of information might give her a bit of an advantage. Or at least if her and her partner could put things together enough to figure out what was going on they could force an advantage. Though this game's rules seemed a bit straightforward.[break][break]

But she didn't feel confident enough in a situation where she didn't have any knowledge of the situation to try to do it all on her own. She didn't know of any countries that had royalty, so having been introduced to a princess had initially been a bit of a surprise. One that had been said with such nonchalance that she figured it had to be true. And yet, the lady herself would clarify that she was in fact, no princess. "So not a princess after all?" She'd say, though it seemed like even Akane would clarify what she meant by her statement. And well, even she had to admit that her clothing was rather regal when Akane clarified her point.[break][break]
However, it didn't seem like they'd have much more time for conversation. The wave crashing into the boat being enough to take Alessandra off her feet as she wasn't nearly as prepared for it. Having well, never really been on a ship before would do that to you. However, what followed that she also really didn't like, was the fact that it seemed like the enemy was upon them. Whisps of shadow began to fly around Alessandra as she'd cloak herself. Though she'd allow both of her allies to see her. If not for everyone's own ability just to see each other at least so that they can coordinate movements better. [break][break]
With one of the beasts climbing over the side, it was clearly weaker than the rest. Looking almost too young to be assaulting the boat. However it here was with the rest. And with a small slice she would knick at it's legs. Dealing a small amount of damage to it and having it wondering where it got attacked from. Panicking and looking around as it would try to find it's attacker. Unbeknownst to it what was about to happen to it.[break][break]

As soon as her small claws dug into the back of this creatures leg, she'd realize a very grave mistake that she had made. She knew that she was underleveled for this mission. But she had chosen to go on it anyways because of the fact that she figured it would be good experience. Plus, she figured that boars probably wouldn't be good enough to see through her passive invisibility. Which is when she realized the mistake that she made was sneaking around towards one of the boars. On her own. Which after she attacked it. Turned to look at her. [break][break]
And the two of them locked eyes for a moment. And that's the moment she knew she fucked up.[break][break]
Because with a cry the boar would spin around, not even really slightly hobbled by it's leg injury as it would face Alessandra, before turning and charging at her. With Dee Dee leading the group down into the wilds where this Rush Boar seemed to live, Alessandra was trying to make sure to stay on some alert. She figured that someone in the group would point it out to her first, but she figured if she could be useful at least in pointing it out. However, what she wasn't expecting, was that it was actually an entire herd of these beasts. Dee Dee being the first to point out that it's actually 15 of them. [break][break]
Deedee suggesting that there be some sort of diversion so that the sneaky ones can sneak up. Alessandra nodding her head as well, her role was pretty easily defined as that of the sneaky ones. Watching as Dee Dee would be the first to move and attempting to goad them into following her to the left. Meaning that for Alessandra, it would be her job to go the opposite way. Trying to get around towards the back of the rush boars and head and attempt to whittle them down. Perhaps if one was weaker and attempting to flee to strike a killing blow onto one of them.[break][break]
Watching as the knight and Idir would be quick to jump into the action after. As well as watching Mr Beast continue to play with his pets and... setting up a banner? Either way she felt a bit healthier with that on the ground as she still attempted to slink around the side of the battlefield. Attempting to eye her targets and find one that could be worthwhile to hit. [break][break]
"I'll see you later." She'd say to Mr. Dove as he'd take off and start getting ready for when Arcana were ready to be picked up, something that would happen sooner rather than later. [break][break]
However, she would watch, almost enamored, as the lead boar would first slam its hooves into the ground, followed quickly by attempting to charge the knight that seemed to be almost goading it into attacking. [break][break]
However, with the display of bravado from the apparent leader would be the perfect time for Alessandra to attempt to slip in behind him and perhaps aim for some of the weaker members. Looking for one that looked particularly weak and attempting to deliver a small slice to it. Not really able to do much damage with it, especially on account of being the weakest one here. But certainly enough to hopefully weaken it for another, distract it for another. Or hell, maybe even set it up to be attacked by herself should the opportunity arise.[break][break]

With the first girl introducing herself as Dee Dee. As well as introducing Alessandra to the cohort of troops that she had with her. All three of these random creatures that she seemed to have as her own pets? Something that she hadn't seen before but definitely something she'd need to pay attention to. And be wary if someone happened to have a pet that she'd need to be aware of. One that could sneak attack in some way. Giving a small nod of the head to Dee Dee, though none to the summons that she had pointed out. [break][break]
However, it wasn't long before her slightly cold demeanor would be forced to be lifted as a small dove would flutter over. Darting over from one, rather large, man over to herself. "It would seem so." She'd say in response to the man as she'd look over at the bird that had decided to perch on her shoulder, reaching out a hand to pet it's head, if it were so inclined to accept. She had never really had a pet before. Nor really taken much notice or interest in animals. But it seemed like if this group was anything to go by, it was something she was going to certainly need to start to learn,[break][break]
However, one of the ones that she was perhaps most intrigued by was the one who had arrived just before her. How he explained that the two of them were both stealth based fighters as she'd nod her head towards him. "Seems like we might just be kindred spirits then." She'd say with a slightly crooked smile towards him. [break][break]
Once everyone seemed to be introduced though then Dee Dee would go on to begin her explanation. Going into great detail about the boars. And not only that but also introducing valid tactics for fighting and introducing ways for various types of fighters to go against these. Though for Alessandra's part she'd have to find out if they were actually able to see her or not. And then from there she'd be able to deduce what her next plan of action was. Following along after the group as she'd let small wisps of shadow start to swirl around her, denoting her stalk state was well and truly active. Though of course, with the happy addition of one Mr. Dove on her shoulder, whom she'd look over to and ask. "So, do you speak as well?" Somewhat unsure of how exactly the whole summoning thing worked. Or well, Pet Making? She wasn't entirely sure what the difference was if she was honest. Though, if the dove would fly over towards Arcana's request it wouldn't be resting on her shoulder for long as she'd instead look over towards Idir.
Well if you pack some punch then I'll be the annoying one to slowly whittle it down." She'd say with yet another small grin, ready for some action to finally start.[break][break]

It was a rather strange sensation. Seeing this other girl reporting on this otherworldly new location that just seemed to spring out of nowhere. Which in and of itself was a rather odd occurrence, but all it did was cause a mass wave of players to start rushing towards it. Hoping to be one of the first to discover some sort of mystery on the island. She had known of plenty of situations like this before. As soon as theres some hope of glory or riches it tends to bring the crowds. And it can also bring out the worst in a mob mentality. But for now, it had seemed like even with this and the months that had passed people were still flocking to the island. [break][break]
So of course, it was only natural that the journalist in her would get inquisitive at someone who happened to have a reporting class, being the first to report on this island. Not only that, but it seemed like it could possibly be a good place to get some experience and help her start catching up to those whom had been on this new earth longer than herself. [break][break]
As another wave would crash against the boat the other two girls that were traveling with her seemed to at least already know each other, making her the odd one out. Though the raven haired one would be quick to introduce the two of them. Alessandra offering a small bow to the duo as she'd say "A pleasure. My name is Alessandra." She'd say as she'd introduce herself back, Let's do our best to explore this island together." She'd say with a smile to the two.[break][break]

Adapting to a brand new system like this certainly wasn't easy. Hell, just the tutorial itself had forced her into a completely foreign situation. And imagine then finding out that it's happening everywhere all over the world and that everyone is waking up with brand new levels and abilities. And imagine then finding out that you're already behind everyone and that they're all way ahead of you. It meant that if she wanted to catch up, she was going to have to play catch up. Force herself into some situations that she might not necessarily be ready for... but it certainly meant that she'd get bigger bonuses than if she was doing some of the smaller things. [break][break]
She had seen that plenty of people had already taken that mission, but there was still room for another. And she was sure that she was going to be taking that spot. Having made sure to claim her spot before heading out towards the spot where the entire group was supposed to be meeting.[break][break]
However, what she saw as she began to approach wasn't just a group of individuals. No it was practically a menagerie. With a variety of not just people but also a variety of pets as she'd slowly approach the group. Holding up a small hand as she'd wave to those that were looking, waving as she'd say "Heya! Alessandra's the name. I tend to be a bit more of a stealth fighter." She'd say as she'd approach just in time to have heard Mikael introduce himself and class, so she figured that she'd have to do the same. That's what you do in parties right?
