Akane's Anchor is a mixture of her lifestyle, religion and fascination with blood which all combined to form a connection to the Gashadokuro which is a giant skeleton yokai from Shinto religion. It would move silently through the night looking for humans before striking from the dark much like an assassin and biting off the humans head and drinking their blood. As such she fell in love with the legend of the Gashadokuro as it was a perfect assassin remaining undetected before delivering a single fatal blow.

With a gesture, this frigid aura can be extended for one post to attack a distant foe, dealing your [MAGI] rank in damage to one target. This ability has a five post cooldown, but this cooldown is reset if you escape detection. [break][break]On the next post after dealing damage with this ability or your core, you can deal your [MAGI] rank -1 in damage to all targets you damaged that way the previous post. Kamitsuku

As she got older in years and found a fascination with blood itself she came to one simple conclusion if even the gods could bleed than so should everyone else.
