Kramer circled around, and thanks to her Syncrofight skill Dee Dee could see the larger goblin leader burst out of the bushes, from above, she moved as did BombDee as she and her Summons were now all aware of where the landmine was that he placed, and so they fell back so the Charging Goblin leader would have to get near it. meanwhile theRemaining goblins glowed when the leader burst out and roared apparently buffing them. Dee Dee had to dodge an attack as they had clearly sped up, rolling back as BombDee power punched the one that attacked her, Dee Dee put the Sickle away and took out a massive Mallet from her INventory, and despite it's size she was wielding it with one hand, and she activated it's power making her glow red.

She had to block a blow from the other goblin with her shield but she knocked the sword to the side and lifted the hammer, slamming the Goblin into the air, she then quickly slammed the hammer back down Catching the goblin in mid air and slamming it back into the ground ending it in, she then spun around and threw another sunflower Dagger at the goblin BombDee had attacked, ending that one as well. They were making a good account of themselves, though she noticed Hikari doing a lot of stabs "Try to do more slashes when fighting a meaty opponent, even if they have armor you could knock them off balance and you should get your weapon stuck in them like before" the word bubble popped up with advice.

Dee Dee considered sending BombDee to help Support Hikari, but she seemed to be holding her own fine enough, perhaps it was just lack of Combat Experience? in that case letting her fight was better then coddling her, Dee Dee had healing items anyway so as long as it wasn't to bad Hikari would be fine. An explosion took her out of her thoughts and brought her back to the fight as the goblin leader stepped on the landmine BombDee had planted. but it was only damaged and not beaten, and it didn't look to banged up ether. but the metal plated boot on the foot that had stepped on the landmine was now useless and even the leader goblin just kicked it off.

"okay this one seems to understand how to handle itself.. be careful with it" she advised it was only this large one left but after the landmine it seemed to have calmed down a bit, and was clearly taking their measure. That was never good, an enemy that sized you up usually meant they had many more tricks.

Hikari

Dee Dees cooking surfaces were reaching temp as she looked to the woman her Word Bubble popped up once more "OH right what's your name by the way?" the bubble asked as Dee Dee started to work on the a Tomatonator meal since the girl asked for any dish she could make with her materials on hand, the good new was she had a LOT of materials. She always had a well stocked food cart after all, BombDee started by putting the two meat patties on the grill while Dee Dee made the fruit juice, the meat would need a bit mor time then anything else, well technically the Juice would since it needed to chill but that would be fine as she popped the cup into the cold box and started to prep the Tomato for Roasting in the oven.

"I have problems talking so it's handy I got this speech bubble to help me communicate, before I would need to write on a notepad till a learned someone's name then I could just sent Messages through the messenger system! so this made it a lot easier to communicate then before since I just have to think about what I wanna say and it fills in for me" the word Bubble would display as Dee Dee continued to work on the Tomatonator, cutting the top off of a Tomato and then spicing and oiling the whole tomato before popping it into the oven, all while BombDee buttered some bun and put them on the grill to toast.

"As for the food cart I do this more to supply people with a sense of normality considering how life is now, it can do the mind a world of good to have something as simple and familiar as food from a food cart, the nominal fee I charge is just enough to cover the cost of ingredients is all, also the Food Cart is to attract people so I can give them a Beginners guide" the word bubble Continued as Kramer grabbed a Beginners guide and handed it to Vanilla. The Guide's title was "Waddle-Dee Dees beginners guide to the System" with a little Waddle-dee Version of Dee Dee waving with a word bubble above it that said "Let's learn together!" It also had the words "Don't Panic" Written in big friendly letters on the back cover, and the whole book was clearly hand made. if she looked into the book she would see it was written to be easy to understand, no Jargon, and with lots of easy to understand Diagrams that were also well labeled, it covered basic survival, field notes on useful plants, Tips for safely earning points for those that were not combat classes so they could at least earn enough to live well enough, and in the back there was a bestiary with monsters with illustrations of them as well as tactics, though it was prefaced that this only covered ones she has met or heard of so variants could exist. And Finally in the very back would be a Glossary of terms that many people used, like slang or Gamer terms that many used in the new world After the Flash to help those understand that didn't know the lingo.

"As for Paris I like it all well enough, another low danger zone is nice, people will likely move in since here is only so much space in the safe zones, and there are more resources out in the lower and medium danger zones then there are in the safe zones, granted many that come out to a place like this would be more likely to have at least a few levels under their belts to the point where they are confident in their own abilities" the bubble replied as BombDee was now putting in the onion rings and Dee Dee added real cheese to the Burgers letting it melt a bit before grabbing a wooden plate and putting the bottom bun down, then some light sauce, then the burger patties with the Melted cheese, this was topped with a bit more sauce but not a lot, and finally she took the roasted Tomato out of the oven and cut the bottom off and placed the tomato on the burgers before adding the top bun and placing that all on a wooden serving tray, BombDee placing the Onion rings in a shallow bowl and placing that on the tray as well. Finally she grabbed the now chilled juice and placed that on the tray finishing the Tomatonator Meal "Here is your meal, first time visitors don't have to pay for their meal since it's on the house the first time" she gave a thumbs up. the dishes were also obviously hand made, with little carvings of Waddle-dee's and Tomato's on them.

With the last of the Undead dealt with Dee Dee nodded to Hikari and gave her a thumbs up, still no skulls yet though, so they would have to go deeper, BUT at least she gained a level and a sub-class now, and so with the respite she looked it over, she then heard BombDee's tummy grumble and then Kramers, then Jimmy's then she looked to Hikari expecting her tummy to grumble for food next, before her own stomach grumbled loudly and she blushed a bit "Welp time to eat I think, and I need to read my new Sub-class I just got too!" she informed Hikari with the help of her Word Bubble. With that she took out some premade sandwiches, that she had stored in her inventory and she handed them out to her friends, she even had an extra one for Hikari already made, it had a lot of meat, veggies, a classic sub really, and she took out a metal folding chair and had a seat as well as put down a large picnic blanket, after having taken a few steps away from the undead of course, so they could have a meal, they knew they were safe for the moment after all.

Her Friends were digging into the food rather happily, Dee Dee herself was enjoying the food as well as she looked over to Hikari "We will have to go deeper, and with undead popping up I think we will run into something a bit more nasty deeper in.. I hope your ready for that, the good news is we are together and so there is a lot of us, and more good news I leveled up so I am stronger and I have my Sub-class now.. which I have to read up on, but other then that we are stronger then when we first walked in!" the word bubble Informed Hikari as Dee Dee took out a canteen she had scavenged from an old Military surplus store in what was once the united states and took a drink of the water, taking a second out for Hikari and a third one for her Friends to share.

"for Refrence my Current stats are all at forty Five so We should be fairly secure down here no matter what we fight, I also have quite a lot of Items that can boost me in various ways, so we should be mostly fine for anything down here, and I assume you have decent combat stats, oh right did the system finally update for you?" she asked through the Word bubble as she took another bite out of her sandwich.

Hikari

The Zombies were starting to get up and Dee Dee looked them over, Fire or Explosions in this area would be a bad Idea, so they only had a few options to deal with them, Thankfully Dee Dee had a great many tools to use in a situation like this and so she put her wand away and took out a Sickle, and she raced forward, BombDee and Kramer charging with her, Dee Dee quickly aimed for the neck of one of the Zombies the Sickle cutting through the neck and decapitating the Zombie, but another one came up behind Dee Dee and brought it's heavy club down, the small girl raised her shield and deflected the blow While BombDee used a power punch to hit it in the gut and send it flying backwards where it would lay defeated.

Kramer meanwhile swatted at another not managing to knock it down but Dee Dee covered for him by throwing a Sunflower petal shaped dagger at the head of the Zombie where it sunk in deep and the Zombie fell over laying defeated, and Dee Dee suddenly started to glow, she did a quick spin and swapped out her Sickle and instead threw a ball of energy from her hand at another zombie destroying that one as well, and Dee Dee realized she had not only leveled up but aquired the chance to get a sub-class so she rolled out of range of the two Zombies that remained, BombDee and Kramer following after her, and she hit the accept button on the one that she liked best as her new stat points were distributed. The path was clear for Hikari to take out the remaining skeleton.

"Clear them out if you can handle all three" the word bubble next to Dee Dees head informed Hikari as she readied to intercept, though she did need to dodge to the side to avoid an arrow from the last remaining Skeleton as it seemed the remaining undead wanted to deal with her.

Hikari

Dee Dee waved to a few people that recognized her, but no one seemed interested in food at the moment, so she had planned to keep going, but then someone walked up and spoke to her and so Dee Dee looked over and up at the taller girl and blinked a moment then she listened to what she had to ask, it seemed she was hoping for some food and Dee Dee nodded rapidly, with that she set the cart and started to unfold it, BombDee and Kramer helping as well until eventually the whole food cart was unfolded showing it had enough cooking surfaces for any type of cooking Imaginable, it even had what looked to be a fridge, which was actually a mini Fridge Dee Dee upgraded to, with the ice fang as the means to keep it cold, still isolating the fang just in case but from what she found it was safe, but always had to be careful.

With the whole food cart unfolded it was easily three times larger then it had been when it was folded up and in travel mode, and Dee Dee added the finishing touches pulling a cord and the top of the cart opened and out came the large Tomato sight with the words "Maximum Tomato" written along it and the two menus would unfold showing a Tomato Menu, which was food with Tomatoes in them, and a normal menu with had more normal food. Then pulling another rope a little banner rolled into place with "Now with Forge access!" and a side panel opened up to show the pricings to use the forge.

After all that was done she looked to the Taller woman and gave a thumbs up as a word bubble appeared next to her and rather then Talk the word bubble filled in with Text "Welcome to the Maximum Tomato! I am Dee Dee the owner and these are my Friends BombDee, Kramer, and Jimmy!" as she named them they each took a moment to greet Vanilla, BombDee the Waddle-dee giving a little salute, Kramer the baby Dragon giving a happy little roar and waving to her, and Jimmy nodding a bit to her, being a larva he really couldn't make much noise. Then each creature moved over to different places in the unfolded food cart, BombDee setting up beside the grill with Dee Dee, Kramer settling down on a cushion by the ovens and grills, and Jimmy sitting beside a little sign with a an arrow on it that said "food waste goes here" and they seemed quite happy to settle in there.

"So what did you wanna order?" the question popped up in the Word Bubble as Dee Dee looked up at her as she set the cooking surfaces and instruments to heat up.

Dee Dee nodded to Hikari informing her about her reading as well as her taking the rear, she didn't mind, more eyes watching was more eyes watching, and so they continued on their patrol, they would continue for a while like this, Kramer coming down to rest his wings now and again as they walked but eventually he would always fly back up and return to his position in the group, Dee Dee didn't mind, after all he could only fly for so long, but she had already taught him to never stay in the sky up to his limit, and always rest when he starts to feel like his wings are even a little tired, this meant evne if he was on the ground he could still fly in an emergency, and so he would always have that option even if they were travelling and they were surprise attacked.

BombDee was keeping an eye out and making sure to check the road to with a long stick for any pit falls, normal goblins wouldn't use them but Dee Dee was a bit worried since they had a larger one with them it might be a sub-species so variation in their tactics was something to be not just considered but expected. But so far no issues as they traveled along.

it was a while before Dee Dee could smell something on the wind, a bit of smoke? she looked around and sure enough over the tree line of a small brush area she could see wisps of smoke fading into the sky "Smoke.. I think they spotted us and killed their fire... Keep your eyes to the left, Kramer will watch the right where the smoke was so it looks like we are not paying attention to that side they are on, just incase there are some over there, but also to bait out the goblins" the word bubble informed Hikari as they continued walking though a bit slower now.

Hikari

Dee Dee was looking around Paris her Cart was ready for any food request, it would just take time to properly assemble it for service again, but for now she was taking a look around the place to see what she could help with other then food, the place was bustling likely due to the area having just opened and people moving in to get things set up, so that made sense, but a lot of places were still empty, but she was sure they will fill in with time as more people came, it was a low risk zone after all so it was likely to be used for a village in the city and likely in the areas that made the outskirts since it was the next safest place there then the Safe zones and there was only so much room in the Safe zones.

Coming around the corner Dee Dee pulled her Cart with BombDee and Kramer walking along side her while Jimmy rested on her head as usual, Though for a while now Dee Dee had to wonder if Jimmy would end up being a Queen ant? that would be interesting, then again he could also end up being a king.. or just a soldier, Ether way she couldn't wait to see how strong he became and what kind of Ant he turned out to be!

But coming around the corner would put her in view of many people enjoying the limited shops that had opened up, some waved to her who recognized the small girl and her small cart, others looked oddly at her this being their first time seeing her, or even seeing a food cart like this since the world changed. Dee Dee was quite happy that new people were seeing her since that meant she could hand out more Beginners guides as well!
