Dee Dee continued to strike around her, there was maybe eleven spiders left, one was already doomed due to Akane, so ten left to deal with, Dee Dee thought about a way clear them all and she could think of only two ways and thankfully both were easily doable, she didn't even need to look at Kramer the group moved and shifted making sure the spiders were in an ark in front of them and Kramer moved to the front and he let out a gout of flames catching the whole surging Horde of spiders killing some and setting others on fire. Dee Dee raised her hammer and crushed one with the hammer before killing another, before she took out one more Sunflower dagger and killed another Spider with that, while BombDee power punched another spider, Leaving only one remaining, however Jimmy moved in then and took a big bite out of the spider because he came out of his stealth he did more damage and then flames erupted from his bite killing the spiders. The Aftermath of the fight was around them, charred and squashed spiders and Dee Dee looked at the mission listing and then gave a thumbs up to Akane... at least where she thought she was since they had killed enough spiders to complete the mission, and by the seeming of it they killed all the ones in the den too as the building was quite, no more seemed to be coming down "Looks like we got them all, good work" the Word bubble congratulated and complimented her. Dee Dee thought about what Hikari said "You threatened them to not come back... but why would they listen to that? what were the chances you and Andy would come back here to this random store in the ruins of New York after you already got what you came for? If anything just waiting for you to leave then preparing the area would make a lot more sense, especially if they couldn't beat you, and you two seemingly had no reason to even come back" she pointed out as they looked around. Though as Hikari asked about the front Dee Dee thought on that too then nodded "Okay lets check it out but don't touch the front door, stay quiet and keep low, I doubt they are watching or we would have heard about them already.. then again if they remember you they might have just run off, but we wanna check the place first.." she advised through the word bubble. She then carefully opened the door that lead into the store front from the backroom but she stopped with it was only just barely a crack and she checked the top area, there wasn't anything resting on it, and there didn't seem to be a bell or anything, she then opened the door slowly, and it opened without a sound clearly they had gotten it ready so it wouldn't. "Yup... they prepped this door..." she pointed out with text before she moved into the shop proper, even with the darkness in the shop it was obvious there were some items on the shelves Dee Dee creeped forward to look them over and a lot of them looked to dusty.. like dust was put on them to make them look like they belonged.. "This really doesn't look right if someone knew to look for issues with the set up here.." she pointed out pointing to the obviously overdone dust on some of the items on the shelves as her Word bubble showed what she wanted to say, it was rather clear that these items were set here to be looked through. Dee Dee listened to what Hikari had to say and she nodded a bit likely an accidental noise then they got lucky that it happened, moving in with Hikari Dee Dee looked around, her Summons doing guard duty since a lot of them inside would more hinder then help, The back room was empty but it was rather clear it was emptied if not recently at least after the flash if the more clean area's on the floor where things used to be was any indication, maybe they knocked something over in here and that alerted Hikari and Andy? and so they got rid of it for use again later? or they had supplies here and decided to move it since this area was found? It was hard to guess really. Hikari mentioned another mark and Dee Dee hopped up a bit to get high enough to see it, she nodded, though she looked at the hinges to the door they looked... clean? she put a finger on them then looked at it, Grease! this confirmed they planned to come back at least, she held her finger for Hikari to see as her word bubble popped up "The hinges on the door were greased recently, and this backroom was emptied out you can tell by the slightly cleaner patches on the floor where things used to be! I think you ether heard a sound from this room when someone was sneaking in and knocked something in here over, or the door made a sound when they opened it... Ether way they seem to have taken Precautions to make sure it didn't happen again.. which means they likely plan to come back"Dee Dee looked at the door and checked the knob, it was unlocked and it turned very VERY smoothly clearly someone gave it grease and checked it made no sound ether if used carefully, all of this screamed preparation and Hikari mentioned the store had some stuff in it, enough to entice people to look around.. meaning they would spend time moving things and searching which would distract people that came in... if it had a front door bell then anyone hiding in the back room or nearby might hear it and could move in... Dee Dee stopped for a moment "They may be listening for a sound...like a bell on the front door... Hikari when you two came in from the front was there any sounds when the door opened?" she asked through the Word bubble if they were watching the place then they would likely have left, but if they were in full hidden positions and just listening for the front door to open or a bell to sound if there was one on the front door.. in this quiet area.. that sound could carry a bit, and that's all they would need, and full hiding spots would mean they wouldn't be stopped at all by casual and even careful glances.. one would have to be looking for people in hiding places... Seeing the huge surge of Spiders Dee Dee decided now was as good a time as any and suddenly her and all her Summons started to glow as she used Syncrofight, a battle against a horde of enemies was a tough affair after all and this allowed them to keep their eyes open and alert to their surroundings a lot better, With the ability activated Dee Dee swapped out her Sickle for a massive hammer and she activated it's ability she wanted to use the sickle before but then on seeing how large the horde was she figured this would be best. As they came in BombDee rushed forward and slapped the ground, Planting a mine before falling back, the spiders charged forward, one getting killed and another getting injured by Akane, then another stepped on the landmine and blew up a good number of the spiders, Dee Dee and her summons took that as their signal and they rushed into the swarm. Dee Dee started to glow red as she activated the Hammers ability and brought the hammer down on one spider crushing it, then she swept the hammer to the side, the large weapon weapon sweeping a great deal of spiders away breaking Carapace and bodies with ease thanks to her skill and the powerup from the hammer, she then took out two more of those Sunflower petal daggers and threw them at two more spiders killing them. One Spider attempted to get Dee Dee from behind but Kramer swatted it out of the air cracking it against the wall, and BombDee rushed in power punching a group of Spiders and sending them flying back, the only one not attacking was Jimmy instead he was watching the whole swarm having hopped off Dee Dee's head and was simply watching now, though no spiders were attacking the ant Larva at all, not even paying attention to him as he watched. The three fighting moved in perfect sync, striking and covering each other like they knew what the other was doing, and seeing, dodging attacks they couldn't have seen coming, and lashing out at enemies that were coming at them from angles that should have been blind spots, The three of them taking quite a toll on the Horde of Spiders as Dee Dee killed another with a stab of the Spider Fang Dagger she had. Dee Dee nodded as she heard Hikari's account and she started to look over the door, it had been pried open "Door was locked at some point but it was wrenched open, a crowbar or something or maybe just a piece of rebar? There is enough laying around to make sue of..." she informed Hikari through the bubble, She looked it over a bit more, "It would have made a lot of noise so it must have been done before you arrived..." she continued It was possible this door was pried open long long before the attempted ambush by some other looters, though the front door looked perfectly serviceable. Now Dee Dee wasn't an investigator this was about all she could tell from the marks, it was rather obvious it was pried open, and considering Hikari said they were in there waiting it was also obvious it was done before they got there, So with that in mind she peeked in the place, the backroom was dark and empty nothing of use there at all and she stopped a moment, thinking before looking back to Hikari "when you guys went in was there still stuff inside?" the word bubble asked as she looked back at the empty backroom looking around the door for anything that might work as a clue. The issue here was Dee Dee knew how to hunt but animals left trails without thinking about it, only avoiding things when they were avoiding a predator, humans didn't do that so her hunting experience was rather useful in a way yes but at the same time it also wasn't the best she could do was make up for it with further observation, and it was thanks to this she noticed in the bottom corner of the door a mark like the mark of a Skull with a Floral Crown "That mark is here by the bottom of the door frame..." she added with her word bubble as she pointed it out for Hikari. Dee Dee looked at the body of the dead spider, she hadn't seen it but the movement from Jimmy told her something was behind her, but when she turned to look the spider was already dead, she nodded to Akane "The weaker ones will always be on the outskirts of a nest. But yes don't expect their to be anything to tough in here, the rank is due mostly to the numbers then the difficulty of the enemies" Dee Dee brought up the mission menu and selected the mission they were currently on "If you look at the mission we are on it has a bar letting you know how many you have left to deal with, technically you don't need to kill all of them, you can just chase them out of the area, but with spiders I find that chasing them out just makes them come back later so extermination is best" she Advised Via Word bubble. With that she continued on, none of the apartments had their doors closed, it seemed they were ether ajar or busted down, repair work would need to be done on the place once they cleared it if people wanted to move in and live here, Dee Dee was taking a few mental notes and continued on, some spiders Dropping down, these ones the size of larger dog breeds. One lunged at Dee Dee but again it seemed to slow, even in midair as Dee De suddenly got a bit faster and she sidestepped the spider and brought the Sickle she had up and she took off it's head, the blade looked like it had the slightest moment of resistance against the Carapace but suddenly the Carapace was cut like paper, A second one tried to lunge at BombDee but the Waddle-dee Power punched it into the floor while a third attacked Kramer who swatted it against the wall. While those three were handled Rather easily, the commotion caused more spiders to start showing up, running down the walls and the stairs "Okay we are about to get into it.. they know we are here now so don't expect the waves to let up until they are all dealt with" She alerted Akane as she put away her shield and took out a Dagger that looked much like a spiders fang, and two Throwing Daggers that looked like Sunflower petals appeared between her fingers, she threw them with practiced precision nailing two spiders in the head and killing them before she and her summons got ready to meet the incoming tide of spiders. Dee Dee looked closer at the mark, the paint was thin and in multiple layers, that would explain a few things, likely they found thinned and combined a lot of the same colors to get it to the point of usability, or they had someone that could make paint but not from a class? Ether way she took note of it in her note book and followed Hikari to the building in question, Dee Dee had her summons keeping an eye out for now, as she took notes on the area, Anything could help figure things out, not to mention if it was a group that regularly operated in the area they may have left something to mark the territory like that tag or something only they would realize was a mark? Something like Survivalists do in the woods to know they came a certain way before. As they got to the building Dee Dee seen the blood on the door and the ground and nodded a bit, Considering they had run into people here she assumed a fight broke out, but by the way Hikari had informed her about it she assumed it was Hikari and Andy that came out on top, "Hmm.. looks like you guys had a time of it.. Lets go in through the back any security system would be long dead by now, but shops like this usually have a bell or something by the door to go off from the door moving, usually something like just a bell attached to it, or it's a small built in mechanism that sets off a bell from door motion activating a lever, if anyone or anything is in there the back door would be safest" she informed Hikari as she started to circle around. "You have to remember even if you don't think people are inside, there might be monsters inside, always consider additional means of entry, and consider if the main entrance has something left over from before the flash that could give you away, I have no clue is this place has a bell or not, but why take the chance? Any alarm on the backdoor however? likely damaged or inoperable, granted it could also have a mechanical set up as well but if it does we were gonna make noise going in regardless" she advised Hikari as she got to the back door and found it ajar. "So you were attacked inside or on your way back out?" she asked as she took out her shield and her Sickle just in case here were more back, her Summons all ready if needed to fight, there could also be a monster inside having moved in and attracted by the scent of blood Hikari |

Dee Dee flew the star, thankfully it had it's own safety system in where a person on it couldn't fall off, so that was good, For Dee Dee flying on the star was super comfortable, then again using a warp star was like a dream come true for her so of course she didn't notice any negatives, in fact to here there were none the Star was perfectly safe and could cover a lot of ground, it even gave off light but only a gentle light so it helped in seeing too! Everything about it was quite handy to her, and every time she flew on it she let her bandana play some nice upbeat music, most never heard it of course since she flew high, and she only used the music in safe areas. Now that they crossed into less safe territory she made her bandana turn the music off she had to keep an ear open for any threats that there could be, as they flew Dee Dee looked around, she had been in New York before, even scavenged the areas around the settlements, but still there was always things to miss and places to hide, but she never considered people to be in there before, she figured most would be to busy trying to survive in the new world and they would rather do that then focus on others, then again some may have seen the new people as a prime opportunity to get things for much less effort, that was a larger worry, if they continued to do this and they started to draw others into it, it could cause a downward spiral of issues. As they landed Dee Dee waited for Hikari to get off the star Then she and her Friends all opped off and she put the star away, looking around at the place, they all kept their eyes open just in case, but as they got to the wall Dee Dee noticed the marks and tags and raised an eyebrow, some where new.. that was a worry you could tell the new from the old due to the fade and quality of the paint used "That one is new..." she pointed out with her Word bubble, the one Hikari was looking over did in fact look new. Dee Dee had to agree she ate her food and her friends did to, getting through it rather quickly before downing her drink, this situation was something very important to look into "oh yeah I did get rather roughed up the last time I looked for Instant coffee for them, I ended up in this massive Fire ant nest! but I managed to get out, nothing really bad and I had a friend with me, but it was still a lot of work, and I did come out looking a little rough from what we had to do to get out" she informed her with the Word bubble as she finished off her food. "As for Andy I met him and he was a good guy, maybe we can all do a job together at some point? I need to give him the newest copy of my Beginners guide now that I have my subclass" the word bubble added as Dee Dee hopped to her feet, her Summons all having finished their food and drink "Okay food is done, just have to pay the tab and we can get going, but Newyork huh? I think I knew a few people down there... they can spread the word for me, I will have to get in contact once we get down there though but it will make things a bit easier.. I also helped with feeding people in the slums there and helping them figure out how to earn points more safely so any that are still there should be able to help spread the word too" the words filled the Word bubble as Dee Dee thought about it, at the very least they would have help spreading the word. With her summons now rested and fed Dee Dee looked to Hikari and took out her Star it grew larger so it was large enough to let Hikari Ride along with Dee Dee and all her summons and she hopped on "Pay the tab and hop on it will be faster to get there by going to the gate on this then transferring over and flying to where we need to go to spread the word first" the explination came in the word bubble as the star hovered there waiting for her to hop on Hikari |

Dee Dee nodded she was glad Hikari took the advice, though hearing she wanted something ranged made Dee Dee think that perhaps she missed the point a bit, something she could use close in if her weapon was to far from her would work far better then a ranged weapon since her swords already gave her quite a large range, something she would have to advise her on later. For now she got up and picked up her folding chair and put it in her inventory, and headed off with her.
The mission was done for now, this section of the trail was safer, more would need to be done of course but this couldn't be done all at once, it would be impossible, but doing it in small chunks would make it much safer then before and that was the goal, it would never be totally safe, Monsters would always travel nearby or they would set up ambushes if they had intelligence like the goblins had, this was just the new Reality, Dee Dee however started to write down about the Goblin leader, this would go into her next Edition and on the blog so that others would know of it and it's capabilities.

Dee Dee looked to Hikari "I don't know what the job he was on was but yeah I know Andy, rather well dressed, can Make Kitchen knives appear, he's a nice guy, I helped him out at a festival before and we met a few other times too... wait coffee? Instant Coffee? oh that must be my other friend a gardener, I used to get instant coffee for him all the time, just the last time I did he seemed really worried about me, I did get a bit dirty that time but he's my friend and he likes the stuff! Also he's the one get my Tomatoes and other produce from, him and a farmer friend of his!" she replied via Word Bubble Hikari offered to take her to the site and Dee Dee nodded "Actually taking me to the place would be really handy! and it means I can distribute more of the guides and issue a warning to the local area much faster, and depending on what Safe zone I could let people I know there know as well and they can spread the word quickly!" the Word bubble exclaimed. her food arrived by then and she started to eat, as had her Summons, but thanks to her way of communicating she could talk while she ate... well sort of since it was all text in a word bubble "If it's organized we need to stomp it out. people have enough to worry about with monsters and the like harming and threatening them, we can't have them worrying about other people doing the same... This information must be spread and the culprits stopped and punished, though I don't know what kind of justice the safe zone this happened by runs under, some have make shift Trials, others do frontier justice... Ether way though we can't let this get to big... or if it is big we need to find out how big and then deal with it" the word bubble agreed as she ate. Hikari |

Dee Dee let Hikari finish off the leader... well "let" wasn't really the right word, she had pushed herself to get to that point and she couldn't really push further, if she was alone she could have taken out her ant queens scepter and continued the fight, but also Hikari needed to train to, though watching her deal with the larger leader Goblin she could see she was fine with ending it, maybe due to the disconnect of not having to physically driver her weapons into the target herself? that disconnect could cause her to not really think of it to much, it was just a motion with her hands and the swords seemed to do things after all. She let her do the grim work, as she caught her breath, The start up to Syncrofight was something she learned to deal with, the after affects as well, the issue she was still having was, she had problems telling when she was pushing to much since they all shared feelings, and she tended to push her body while her Summons waited for openings, this meant that out of the three of them only one felt tired and she lost track of exactly how tired, she would need to use it more to better gauge that, but at least she had means to deal with it if it happened mid fight like using the Scepter or backing away while letting her summons by her some time to get her breath again. She even had a padlock with her that she could use with one of her other items to buy her a respite if needed. Looking to Hikari once she finished off the leader Dee Dee gave her a thumbs up "I am fine, just sometimes push myself to much when I use that ability, Especially as it nears the end of it's effective time, but I have ways to make up for if I do that and it runs out, but in this case I knew I didn't need them since there was only one enemy left and I had an ally that could deal with them, just give me a moment to catch my breath" the word bubble explained as Dee Dee took out a metal Folding Chair and sat down on it, Her Summons coming over and sitting around her as she rested a bit. "Good work by the way, clean and quick, though I have some advice if your willing... The short weapon you have.. you shouldn't aim for boney parts if your going to stab, ribs. skull.. bad Ideas, it could get stuck again, aim for the gut, or the outside of the leg, slashing attacks would also work, basically since you seem to be unable to attack with the others right away try to limit ways the first one can get caught up on things... Second you should consider buying an additional weapon, something you yourself can use in case another situation like that happens again, then at least you still have a weapon to defend yourself with" the Word bubble advised as Dee Dee seemed to be catching her breath. Dee Dee looked over to Akane as they spotted her and she waved glad to see who was her partner in all this, this should be rather easy work then though she wasn't sure what Akane's class was, but as Akane explained that she would be hiding in the shadows Dee Dee assumed it was something like a Rouge or an assassin or some other stealthy class, that was fine, she wasn't exactly going to be in to much trouble, she had a skill specifically meant for dealing with spiders and insects after all "Don't worry I am used to fighting spiders and giant insects, I even had a skill that makes it easier" she gave the girl a thumbs up as the info was relayed to her through the Word Bubble. With that she headed into the building, the low light wasn't that much of an issue for her, again she was used to spiders and their dens, this wasn't her first one she would have to deal with after all. and on entering they were already having to deal with a few smaller spiders, her and her summons rather quickly dispatching them with simple basic attacks, they were barely even E rank but they were still monsters attacking them "Watch out for poison and webs, they sometimes use Webs to find prey rather then their eyes so even being sneaky and unseen might not help with some of them" she advised Akane with her Word bubble as they looked around. BombDee, Kramer, and Jimmy where all keeping their eyes open in different directions in what was clearly a formation Dee Dee had used before, and it seemed to be effective if that first mini scuffle was any indication.. however it was like the spiders slowed down when they got within striking distance of Dee Dee and Dee Dee herself seemed to speed up a little at the same time. This was all thanks to her Squasher skill of course, but it would be very helpful in dealing with this place. Akane Hayashi |

Dee Dee took a bit of time picking what she wanted, for herself and her friends, not wanting to order to much but at the same time she understood it was a gesture of kindness so refusing would be rude, so she aimed for a not grabbing the most expensive, but she didn't grab the cheapest ether, after all both options as well as refusing would be like throwing the gesture back in the face of Hikari and she didn't want to do that, she also ordered drinks, and then placed the menu to the side as the server wandered off, To Dee Dee it was a bit of a change to be sure as she was usually the one preparing and serving the food, but it was a nice change truth be told. She then looked to Hikari when she said she had information for her, and Dee Dee took out her notebook and nodded to show she was ready to copy down the information, apparently important information about something that happened near a safe zone? That was something to know about considering many new people would consider those area's at least safer then anywhere else other then actually inside a safe zone, so this would cause a lot of issues for new people if it was a rather bad thing. Hikari started to speak and Dee Dee listened, so it was during a supply run mission, but it wasn't a monster or nature? and Hikari got serious and continued, people? Andy had mentioned Running into Bandits before human ones, but it seemed this was Scavengers targeting new players and ambushing, that was a problem! she did recall some people in the slum areas never wanted her help, could it be people like that had decided to turn to this kind of action? Or was it people that just wanted more for themselves? She had taken the notes about bandits and the like before from Andy but she meant to look into it herself to Verify, but now she was getting a second account, that was worrying, and the same kind of mission, supply run, so it clearly was something of an issue. "My Friend Andy mentioned the same thing a while ago, I was going to go try to see if I could verify the information but by the sounds of it you have run into the same issues, so this must be a larger problem and this basically confirms the information I got, I will have to add this to the blog as an emergency notice and and it for the next edition of the guidebook, I should also add it to my current one from my subclass since it will update all the new type of Guides out there" the Word bubble explained as Dee Dee set to work right then and there to update a few things, typing and writing rapidly, this information was somewhat concerning, it meant people were outfight deciding to cause issues for others rather then trying to work together. Dee Dee looked at the injured Goblin leader, The buff he gave was apparently for speed and strength not to defense or Vitality, she would have to make note of this later since it would help out others that ran into it, it meant you would have to be more careful but it didn't make the goblins under it's command any tougher or unbeatable by any margin, just meant they could likely do more damage to you then normal especially since they also seemed to come with more dangerous weapons then Goblins without a leader. Though they still only had slingshots rather then bows so it seemed it was more the Melee Goblins that had better gear over all, the ranged ones got some improvements. She dodged a wide swing from the Larger Goblin leader, BombDee ducking under the swing, it was injured but clearly it wasn't out of the fight, it even struggled back up to it's feet the wound was bleeding but it was starting to slow down and looking the wound had mostly closed from the blood coagulating, it was interesting to note, but it still clearly caused issues with the monsters movement as it was much slower now. Though clearly the wide swing was trying to hit them all, but it was more focused on going after Hikari, that made sense considering she was the one that injured it so badly. However Dee Dee wasn't about to allow that and so she rushed in, blocking a Sword swing with her shield, before lifting her massive hammer, a pair of glasses themed after a spider appearing in her face, and she could see a good weak point on the Goblin leader, her hammer slamming down on it to deal even more damage then before as she followed through with a spin and backside Slam with the hammer to knock the thing off balance, it wasn't down yet and it looked like it was going to get it's feet back under it and regain it's balance. Kramer however already knew his part in this thanks to the Syncrofight ability and he flapped his wings hard, suddenly increasing his speed and he dived behind the Goblin leader, swatting at the leg he was trying to use to stabilize himself before speeding away out of reach. And with that the Large goblin fell to the ground. Jimmy used this opportunity to hop off Dee Dee and land next to the weapon hand of the Goblin leader, where he opened him mouth and bit down HARD the bite erupting in flame for a moment before he was tossed by the Golbin, but so was it's weapon, Kramer catching Jimmy in the air so they wouldn't get to injured. BombDee took action next hopping up and landing on the Goblin leader and hitting him with a Double Power punch, knocking the wing out of him and then hitting him in the face before rolling off him as the monster tried to grab him though it was much more sluggish then before. Dee Dee then looked at the creature and activated one of her skills to give her stats a boost, she then took out two more of the sunflower shaped Throwing Daggers, and she threw them into the head of the Goblin leader, the beast tried to get up, but it's hand faltered... lowered... then fell as it was defeated.. or rather it was out of strength it was still alive if only barely. But the glow on Dee Dee and her summons faded and it was clear that doing all that had tired Dee Dee as her legs were shaky and she and her summons backed away from the large Goblin leader "Hikari Finish it off.. please" the word bubble popped up beside Dee Dee, as she made sure her and her summons gave Hikari all the room she would need to give the Goblin leader a send off.
