Filthy. Disgusting, and hardly bearable. It would be a lie if the woman said she didn’t want to puke every three seconds, yet the putrid air was worth dealing with in order to satiate her current hunger. A hunger that had rapidly been growing since she had found herself stuck in this place. Her new obsession had been to level up, something which seemed to come from killing Monsters, though she had yet to see what came of killing other players…”In due time”, she thought to herself as she continued her pace thru the sewer. Her bare feet clung against the concrete, as she skidded on the outskirts of whatever mess was stewing in the trashy waters beneath her. As Psychotic as she was, the last thing she wanted to do was dip her big toe in that fermented water. Instead her arm was outstretched beside her as she steadily willed her way down the tunnel, hoping to find any sign of sentient life so she could extinguish it. [break] [break]
Rounding the corner, she dropped down a little further, as she watched another shadow creeping across the wall. Foreign in nature, yet humanoid in form, Three couldn’t make heads or tails of the distorted shadow, but she did know something had to die. As she crouched, a black goo-like slime began to gloss over her skin. In moments it had solidified itself at one point on her arm to create a jagged shard-like object for stabbing. [break] [break]
Slowly she moved into grotesque waters, careful not to allow a wave or the water to break. Quietly submerging herself, her eyes float over water, hiding her visage in the dark tunnel as she made her loomed towards her prey like a crocodile or an apex predator. [break][break]

The air in the sewers is foul, but breathable. The water is a different story, and is teeming with filth. Any player who stands in it risks a slowly increasing chance of becoming [poisoned] or [diseased]. Choose 1-3 types of monsters from the table at the beginning of the mission; the strongest monster type present determines the mission rank:[break]

He stood by the trunk of his car. Well it wasn't his per say, the person who it had belonged to had long since abandoned it, and with the way the world was now he was sure to be the only one who could operate it. He didn't know how his interaction with Balthazar went, he was afraid he had scared the man off. Maybe he could tell Calico wasn't all the way there. He bashed himself silently for his miscalculation, he intended to get to know the man; connect with him. But in his eyes all negotiations may have ran flat. Maybe he was too course. He thought of all this while spraying his gear wildly.[break][break]
The trunk of the car had been lined with plastic to prevent the dirty equipment from touching the trunk. After they had been cleaned and properly dried he began putting the items back on. A pair of heavy duty plastic coveralls, heavy duty boots, long heavy duty gloves and a covering for his mouth/nose. He put an incent on the inside so that the smell wouldn't be too bad. Calico even packed a backpack with extras which were cleaned. He hoped he'd run into others, he needed more concreate allegiances and fast.[break][break]

Calico refused to trudge through the water, shit covered sidewalk was more than enough for him. Instead of bats, rats and slimes this time he'd deal with the other side of the sewers. He had heard through various grapevines that different parts of the sewers belonged to various different monsters. This side seemed to be goblins and the giant spider's they seemed to have domesticated and rode. Having prior experience with giant spiderlings he didn't look forward to it by any means.[break][break]
His walking was stealthy, even though he had a flashlight he didn't bother turning it on. Letting his natural eyes get adjusted to the dim light he followed a lone Goblin who seemed to trek around a patrol ground. He waited attempting to use its own navigation against it, taking mental notes of spots that seemed important to it and get a general gist of the goblin territory underneath the sewers. When the time came that he no longer felt he needed the Goblin he rose his whip and split the thing in two with one swift motion. He didn't yet see the assassin underneath the water, not that he would care about killing her mark anyhow.

No longer thinking about the shitty situation she was in, Three’s concentration fell back onto her poor target, to which she was about to exterminate. A Goblin creature lurched thru the threshold, his shadow expanding as he got nearer. Silently she began a countdown, waiting to spring from the water and snatch his soul with the jagged crystal she had in her hand. ”One, two, -“ gripping the piece of crystal hard, she didn’t have time to get out three, before another shadow crept in. With a whip-like appendage, he struck the thing down, bisecting it with considerable ease.[break][break]
Still she made no sound, however disappointed she was that she didn’t get to kill the thing herself, her mind quickly moved to the next objective: Kill the thing that killed the thing. Creeping forward, she moved along quietly thru the waters like a shark. Rising from the water, she grabbed the ledge with one arm, and gave a slight jump, boosting herself out of the water, as her arm drove downward, attempting to stab the man in his back with her piece of void crystal.

Calico wasn't one to let his guard down, especially after killing. Years of being half-sleep and playing dead taught him to keep your ears open and your senses sharp. That's why when the slight turbulence of the water that most wouldn't hear rang out he caught it. The small patters of feet on concreate over trash and dirty, he caught that too. And the sound of dripping from wet stained clothes etching towards him was something his senses also adjust to.[break][break]
He could of turn, shot his whip out to block the damage and taken none; but what would be the fun in that? Instead he'd let her stab him, stopping in his tracks. Yet, instead of doubling over, screaming out in pain or falling ill like he was sure she was use to, he practically felt nothing. Now he would turn, slowly and dramatically. A killing intent of his own high and flourishing as he spun to see who exactly would dare to hurt him. He wasn't really too surprised to see it was a player, he had figured maybe a goblin with a dirty weapon but an actual person choosing to cover themselves in dirt and muck; it was peculiar to say the least. Why did you stab me." His tone was stern and demanding.[break][break]
He could see it deep in her eyes, a killing intent of her own. He could identify with it. Yet, there was something else there as well. Calico was a people watcher, and being a person who watched others you often came to understand them in certain ways. It was this understanding of people that helped him grasp certain situations. If he could make a bond with this shit covered psycho then he was sure he could bond with anyone.[break][break]

The shard dug into the man’s back, piercing him as the poison oozed from the fang like a venomous snakebite from a Mamba. However the man did not writhe or wiggle, he did not howl in pain, he wasn’t beginning to peel away at the flesh. Narrowing her eyes, she attempted to push the shard slightly deeper, it was having trivial effect on the guy. Something was wrong, something was different. [break][break]
An anomaly, as anyone else who had faced her fang didn’t make it much further. But this guy even had the wits about himself to ask about the reason he had been stabbed. It was simple, ”I thought you weren’t looking.”, she replied in a nearly monotone voice, each letter as cold and callous as the last as they rolled over her tongue. Calico made sure to push her into the wall, he wasn't really trying to hurt her too bad; just enough momentum and force to throw her off balance. Two had rarely been let out her cage, which was ironic as she was the first persona to exist. Yet was quickly thrown in the backseat, as the rigors of assassination training caused her to mentally collapse, creating Three in order to protect her childish mind from caving in completely. The helpless state is what Three would call it. When there was no other options, innocence was the answer…and to her, innocence was never the answer. Even now as she rode the bench she wondered why Two had been selected for this moment, nonetheless, she talked, and talked, and talked; as it was just who she was. For a brief moment she gasped as the option to NOT be hurt by the poison. It was a fantastic option she thought, especially towards a poison that makes all sort of grotesque things happen that Two didn’t know if she had the stomach for. [break][break]
Nodding her head as she followed his words she replied, ”Taichou. Taichou, Taichou. That means Captain! Silly Silly, I’m just a little girl, I can’t be a Captain. That’s Three’s job! That’s why she’s the boss, she likes to be in charge of things. If she’s in charge of other people you’re in a good place, she’ll make sure nothing hurts you. Just like she does for Two and One. She’s a big fat meanie sometimes, but she does well for the things she can feel. I think she’ll like you, jail man. I tell her all the time, you have more in common with people than ya know! Just give em a chance. It’s good for her, so Two will MAKE her give you a chance. A deal is a deal” [break][break]
As they grabbed hands, the girl gasped for a moment, seemingly holding her breath as she began to shake and writhe in place. The loving eyes now dead agin, the grin of happiness replaced by a hard line of contempt and disgust. Looking down, Three slapped the man’s hand away from her as she muttered, ”Dammit.” There was no honor amongst thieves, but there usually was amongst murderers, and Three was no different. If she shook on something, then her word was bond…even if it didn’t necessarily come from HER. She had been watching this all play out, and had fought to get back to the forefront, yet only just having overcame Two, she was now locked in a contract she would obligate herself too. Snatching the shard from the man’s hand, she performed a half whirl, stabbing it into the neck of a Goblin who tried to run up on her. Removing the weapon, she watched as the poison spread across his body, causing him to scream, falling to the grown in agony, as he began to vomit a black goo-like substance. Watching him writhe, she didn’t bother to put out his misery, instead she bellowed, ”She tortures me with your presence, as I torture this being. I’m Three. Who the fuck are you and what of this guild?” As the screen popped up, prompting her to join Calicoe’s party, she heaved a sigh before agreeing to join. A nuisance, Two the troublemaker.
