"Living is definitely the plan." Hana nodded along, even if the advice had been for Argent. She noticed some sort of movement, but it wasn't until Emir cried out that she realized he was being dragged into the air on a new spider's web. "Oh no, more of them!?"

With her guitar already in hand, she defaulted to that. Strumming another chord as the ethereal purple copy emerged to blast the spider with wailing sound. The stunned thing was knocked off its perch, flopping into the disgusting liquid near their feet, its legs wildly flailing as it rocked on its back.

"Sorry if that was too loud!" Hana shouted to Emir, preparing to back him up while waiting for Argent to rejoin them. She was having trouble keeping up with the two of them, with the way they kept disappearing.

”W-woah! That one looks a bit stronger-” For a new spider to suddenly burst out and yoink up Emir, Argent couldn’t say she wasn’t caught off guard. He didn’t look like he was phased by it though, Even managing to toss out an attack to the big monster and stun it, giving an opportunity for Hana and Argent to wail on it. ”Alright!”[break][break]
Using that fancy guitar of hers, Hana blasted the bug, knocking it down with a loud wail. Was that just another item she had, or was perhaps that what her class could do? A star, like a famous musician? It made sense! [break][break]
With the spider on its back, Argent leapt to action once more. Avoiding the nasty ground here was annoying, but workable. She activated her heart bracelet once more as she moved towards the spider, giving her another power boost. With that, the party buff, and her invisibility, this spider was in for a world of hurt. [break][break]
Reaching it, Argent immediately started things off with her Relentless Slash, swiping across the spider’s abdomen for… only one hit. ”Tch!” Maybe luck wasn’t on her side for that one, but she swiped at the creature again with her knife, the two hits forming an X on the monster. She didn’t get as many hits as she’d have liked, but it was still a good use of her buffs![break][break]

Emir barely had enough time to fire off, before Hana reacted. He was pleasantly surprised with her quick wit and response time. Comparing her to the previous version of her in his head. He could tell the young lady had grown tremendously. The old Hana could only avoid as far as he could remember. The guitar thing was new and cool. Between the two attacks the spider fell as well as Emir.[break][break]
Darkness from the ground rose up to devour Emir. The small shadow of his power rapidly moved to pop up next to Hana. “Yep. I am all good. Good thing I can cushion myself a bit. Dropping someone from the air is generally frowned upon.” Emir was laughing as he told Hana. He was not actually mad, just making an observation.[break][break]
The fluffy pink arrow had returned after hitting the spider. If he had not noticed Argent missing he would have simply used it again. The nightwalker was actually aware about the dangers of stealthing. It was useful but did nothing against damage. He did not want to run the risk of friendly fire. Most people would get maimed at best if Emir passively attacked them. If Argent’s battle style was similar to his. The man could bet money that her defenses were paper then.

Hana squeaked in surprise as Emir popped up next to her like that. "Ah! I thought you'd, like, do a flip or something!" She only spared a moment to glance at him, before concentrating on the fight once more. After Argent landed her attack, she held out one hand, suddenly lifting it into the air.

A moment later the shadows under the creature copied the gesture, a hand forming to pop the spider up into the air a few feet. A new shuriken appeared in her grasp, as she launched it towards their final foe. As the flailing arachnid began to drop again, the weapon hit home, stabbing through it to pin the beast to the wall.

After a few weak struggles, the spider went limp, exploding into another puff of webbing as the throwing star vanished as well. "Whew...I think that's all of them. We just have to get out of here now..." Hana's face was sweaty around her mask, but she resisted the urge to wipe it away. She had a feeling she needed to wash her hands especially well once they were out of here. Not to mention hunt down a working laundromat.

Sighing in relief, the teen began to shrink back down to normal size as the buff wore off. She'd be happy to simply follow the other two out of here to collect their reward.

”OH! Alright, looks like we can get out of here now! Man, no interesting loot though… maybe turning it in will have better luck.” She had kinda hoped to find more useful things here, but she couldn’t complain about free experience for beating up some monsters. On the plus side, at least she didn’t have to keep worrying about stepping into any of the nasteness anymore. That definitely wouldn’t be missed once they got out of here. [break][break]
”Y’know, I’m glad I ran into you guys down here, taking these things out as a team definitely sped things up.” With the quest being over, Argent knew there wasn’t much reason to stick together, but she enjoyed fighting with these two. Just like the party buff they got, she felt like they had a lot of nice synergy. [break][break]
