Valentine made his way through the waygate and yet another new location. So far he hadn't been able to find any new leads to his sister but his leveling had been moving at a progressive rate. Ever since his time in Neo-Tokyo he felt changed, perhaps it was because of his new found stats, his high willpower combined with his superhuman strength. Something he never imagined having, but here it was, and here he was, thriving and surviving. Valentine let himself be swallowed in a flash of light as he moved through the waygate.[break][break]
Stepping out he found himself in a new location, he hadn’t come here before but he figured it would be a nice change of pace and it in fact was. This place was so serene a much better change of pace from all the other places he had been thus far. A countryside, he had heard that average creatures lived here which made this the perfect training ground to get better with this spear and other items.[break][break]
Valentine began by taking his spear out of his inventory, twirling it around getting a feel for it’s weight once more. He took out his glove, placing it on his right hand. Now that he was prepared it was time to kill some monsters.[break][break]

[attr="class","withoutyouscroll"] Eliza had recently found the location of one of the waygates that she could take to go find her parents, but she was hesitant to do so not because she didn’t care about them but the location of their house had been in a danger zone now run rampant with monsters so she wouldn’t even know where to look for them, however that was only part of her reasoning as the other part was that she was far too weak for her liking the tutorial monsters were tough and she defeated them but they were only level 1 monsters.[break][break]
Needless to say she needed to train with her ability more before she made any major moves, the world was changing and she needed time to adapt to it, luckily she was never alone as the sea seemed to be with her, helping her on her path like a ship coasting through it’s endless depths, Eliza could truly feel this as her mana seemed to flair around her as if to response to this singular truth she knew now. [break][break]
Having been in the countryside for a bit Eliza found herself looting houses that had been abandoned by families for the safety zones, Eliza finding a can of peaches in a two story house cooing as she plunged a rusty old kitchen knife she found to open up the can and began to drink the juice first. Ears perking however she could hear the sound of growling approaching from the entrance, she had forgotten to close the door. Snapping her head in the direction of the sound Eliza would look to see a gray ash colored wolf, bigger than a usual wolf by far as a window popped up over it’s head as Eliza could hear the wolves claws scratch the wooden floors as it flexed them, it’s body language telling Eliza it was about to pounce as she read the creature’s window. “Shit” eliza said to herself as the creature was one level higher than her, the creature leaping at that very moment as Eliza threw the can of peaches in her hand to knock the creature off course by hitting it in the eye mid leap, a familiar sense of survivor adrenaline coursing through Eliza as she darted around the lesser great wolf and out of the house to get to a more open area to fight it but she could hear it behind her, and if she understood wolf right, that thing was pissed.

Valentine found a nearby tree, climbing up it was relatively easy thanks to his strength but he made the mental note that climbing down it should take great care as his defense stat was rather subpar. That said, Valentine placed himself atop the sturdiest branch he could find, and took a moment to catch his breath. Spear in hand he laid it across his lap as he wrapped his legs around the tree's limb. Take a moment to survey the area, Valentine didn't see too many monsters, granted he didn't venture too deeply into the forest, he figured he'd take the time to scout out the area and any of the houses to see if there was anything useful.[break][break]
Letting his astral body float free Valentine found himself, plummeting below, or rather he found his astral body doing such. Landing just above the ground thankfully unharmed, Valentine found that he rather enjoyed how his astral body could float safely just a few inches above the ground. Though with the mental jar he felt go through his body, like that of having his head shaken too fast he found that standing upright took more time than he would've liked. Readjusting himself, Valentine took a deep breath. "Well, good to know what happens when I fall from high up, shit. Better not ever let myself fall further than that again," Valentine said, the thought of what would happen if his astral body fell from a cliff flooding his mind.[break][break]
Valentine's astral body moved around the countryside for quite some time until he came upon a lesser dire wolf, he smiled wanting to do some hunting, and decided to follow it, he could see the beast was sniffing around some of the abandoned houses. With a smirk, Valentine willed his astral body back to his physical. Took his sweet time climbing down from the tree and then jogged over toward the general direction of the wolf, only to see that it was gone. Some of the doors of the rundown houses had been broken in so Valentine decided to look through them quickly. Finding nothing until he came to a middle home he could hear signs of commotion, and rushed inside. [break][break]
"Here puppy, puppy, puppy," he said to taunt the creature into coming out of wherever it was, before bringing two of his fingers up to his mouth to let loose a sharp whistle. Perhaps it was the experience or his high willpower but Valentine held no fear within himself as he did such. After all, his level was leagues hire than the creatures from what he had seen.
