Where were you when it happened?
Everyone always seems to ask this question whenever it came to the time that mankind's fate changed forever. Some people, were with family and enjoying a nice dinner. Others were running errands based on their levels of importance. No matter who you ask that question, the answer is always going to be different when it comes to the moment that the light hits. As for Tommy, he was attending a meeting to try to rub shoulders with the bosses. He felt as if it was time to strike to take on a little more responsibility with the redevelopment project and become the main lead, but real-life issues took a turn for the worse.

Was this a joke? Everything went down the drain once he received the message from the earth, the literal earth that everyone lives on. However, he had no time to be shocked for a long period or even believe that everything was a fever dream. He had to adapt, and maybe it takes some kind of spot between sanity and insanity to adapt to something so preposterous so quickly.
"Alright, three choices..."
It first started with the choice of class that he had to pick, it was between 3 of them. Tommy had no real experience with MMORPG games, maybe he played a little bit from time to time but he was a filthy casual. He never took it seriously, maybe if he did, he would understand the choices a little better.
Tommy was at a loss. However, he felt like the simplest choice was the correct one. The number one choice had to be the top choice, right? After picking the first one and going over the information that was granted to him regarding the class, it was time for the tutorial to start. Almost instantaneously, Tommy was teleported to a damp cave with numerous amount of obstacles that had the details of the game in question.
"Places to run and hide, and a five-minute timer before the boss appears and the game starts. "
Looking around, Tommy realized that he was not surrounded by levelheaded people. A lot of them were confused, barely coming to grips with what was happening to them. This wasn't good, being surrounded by unorganized hysteria while the timer was going down.
