It is something that feels much more personal to her - a connection she can’t explain, true, unlike the false memories of the princess living in her head. The dark castle that stands towering in front of Cordelia for some reason emits a sense of warmth despite its dreary appearance. The feeling reminds her of the time before the system; that was a long time ago, according to what she had been hearing. But to her, it was nothing more than a few weeks. The world had changed so drastically that even she had to admit to herself that it was difficult to keep up. She can’t explain it - it is so, so familiar. Like finding a lost half, to complete her incomplete self. If so, what was the correspondence between her and this bastion? Contrary to its gloomy atmosphere, Cordelia is not scared at all. The guards around the perimeter merely glare at her but do nothing to dissuade her from getting close, a look of slight confusion in their eyes. She knows - at least she thinks she knows - she will not be hurt in this place. She slowly walks to the gate. A slight tingling courses through her body, like static running in her blood. A memory of the Heartless Princess tries to play itself through Cordelia’s mind, but is immediately cut short. Could the castle possibly be interfering with her body, or her mind? Still, the guards do nothing, as if there is nothing wrong at all with Cordelia approaching the very location they are defending. There is no hurry. Without knocking - just by a gut feeling, she knows she will be let in. Perhaps the system was sending signals to her brain. Or perhaps, this was a miracle, or she had gone insane.
