"Begin Tutorial" A strange, almost cybernetic voice rang out through Harry's skull, awakening him from what felt like a momentarily lapse in consciousness. The silver-haired man slowly opened his sore eyes to the sound of water droplets falling onto ceramic tiles in a metronomic pattern. A guttural groan left dry lips as he slowly heaved himself up onto his feet. Lifting his latex gloved hands to his face, Harry gently rubbed his eyes as his vision came into focus.
Disoriented, Harry looked around at his surroundings. It looked all too unfamiliar and yet from the design, he quickly deducted it was a locker room of some kind. The room dark and dilapidated was almost silent if it weren't for the sound of water droplets and the unsettling noise of a humming fluorescent light. He slowly staggered around the aisles of lockers, lit only by the flickering lights above. It took him a second to notice, but the air reeked of chlorine and what he could only assume were dead fish. Suddenly a holographic screen opened in front of him, with a message, startling him for a moment before curiosity peeked his interest.
[Chlorine Gas Debuff: Respiratory irritation, resulting in decreased stamina for 3 minutes. Vitality Rank -1. Does not stack. If you remain in the area after time limit, this will be reapplied.]
Harry coughed as he finished reading, as if what he read had some physical effect on him. His eyes widened in disbelief, trying to understand the strange display hovering in front of his eyes. He decided to keep exploring, finding his way to the exit of the locker room. He gently opened the door and carefully stepped out. His blue eyes immediately stretched wide open, greeted by the sight of a weird humanoid fish-like creature with shimmering golden scales and no larger than a child laying dead on the ground. Suddenly the digital display appeared again.

Yuuki had been sitting on a rock still confused as how he got to here.... what had seemed like a brief moment in time had actually been 6 months and he didn't recall any of it and now being here on earth again had him having mixed feelings. On the one hand he was definitely glad to be out from underneath his dads abusive and controlling thumb, that man could only see the world a singular way even though the world was made up of differing views and interests. On the other hand this was all raw and new to him at least a the dojo he had familiarity and consistency. Yuukis view of the world had always been blinded by his own fathers dogmatism even though he knew the world was a colorful place and now he had the freedom to explore the colorful opinions and beliefs of others so long as they were not dogmatic like his fathers.
Yuuki blinked coming out of a mental daze as he heard a noise like boots crunching on rocks he quickly hopped off the rock and hid around it peeking around the corner to see what if anything was there. He really was not looking forward to a fight as he was unarmed and still was not quite sure how to use the powers the system had granted him, although the system had really told him a damn thing it was more like ''here is your shit now get out''. So he was hoping and praying it was not another human with malicious intentions. When he peered around the boulder he saw nothing but dust and the chlorine gas floating around, though it really had no effect on him since he used part of his shirt to make a mask and wet it to help fight against the effects of the gas and it seemed to work fairly well.
He was about to get back up on the rock when he heard it, something behind him coughed in the distance it was faint but it was definitely a cough. His eyes immediately narrowed as he slowly crept through the rocks until he was in view of the person that coughed though their face was obscured by the gas it was definitely a human. He clinched his jaw as he was not sure if he should make his presence known or avoid confrontation altogether. Realizing concealing himself made him appear as a threat he decided that it was better if he revealed himself in a unassuming way; so he stepped out from behind the rock and said "Hi there."

A low groan close-by echoed through the misty air, immediately pulling Harry's attention. He turned in the direction of the sound to see a standing corpse swaying gently in the breeze. His eyes widened in disbelief, shocked and alarmed at first until he realized it wasn't approaching him. He cautiously stepped towards the rotting figure, examining it carefully. Upon reaching mere inches from it, a new virtual window popped up with a brief description and stats of the zombie. He couldn't believe his eyes when he read that this was his zombie and completely under his control.
Taking a moment to get use to the strange situation, he turned around again looking for some indication of where he was. A footpath stretched out through the fog, flanked by nature on one side, and concrete flooring on the other. Harry thought it best to follow the footpath hoping to find some kind of signage or exit. As he walked along the pathway the zombie shambled behind, tracing his steps sluggishly. The footpath reached a large olympic sized swimming pool, however only it's edge was visible through the gas from Harry's vantage point.
Sudden Harry heard a person's voice called out to him from behind, somewhere amongst the nature dotting the edges of the complex. He turned his head and saw him, a young man of a tall slender physique sitting casually on a stone. He briefly hesitated to answer before replying, his mind racing with questions to ask him.
"Hello? Who are you? What's going on here?" He asked with a tone filled with confusion.

Yuuki sorta laughed when the man fired off 3 rapid questions in a confused tone "Hello? Who are you? What's going on here?" Yuuki himself was not entirely sure what was going on here; after all he had just arrived here as well "Uh, the names Yuuki." he said firmly "And I do not have the slightest clue as to what's going on here." he said with a slight laugh while he rubbed the back of his head nervously as he hopped down off the rock and approached the man. "I'm assuming you just got here as well?" he asked when he was closer to the man, he also noticed what appeared to be zombie causing him to take a slightly defensive posture incase this mans intentions were to harm him.
"Is that thing yours?" he asked apprehensively as he motioned in the direction of the zombie; Yuuki was not exactly afraid he could probably take one zombie and this man if he had too even if he was unsure of how to effectively use his new abilities just yet. "Also I do not really think its safe to stand around and talk out here if this gas is any indication." he said in a matter of fact tone "So I think it would be in our best interest if we find some place safe to continue this conversation." as he finished saying this he heard the shuffling click clack of something approaching from the south; when he turned to investigate the noise he saw a giant grab gnashing its pincers no more than 20 yards away and closing in fast. "Well I guess that conversation will have to wait until later." he said with a grin as he turned to face the crab.

"Yuuki... Such an interesting name. I'm Dr. Mortfield... It's a pleasure to meet you." Harry said before reaching out to shake the strangers hand.
A sudden sigh left the doctor's lips, shaking his head with an annoyed expression. He had hopes of answers and yet, it seems Yuuki was just as clueless as himself. It took Harry a moment to gather his thought before replying with his thick British accent. "Indeed. I was in my office moment ago, then there was a bright light... And i found myself in the locker rooms over there" Gesturing towards the small building behind him as he talked.
Harry had realized the forgotten zombie creepily standing to his back, until Yuuki had not let it go unmentioned. His eyes once again lingered on the rotten visage of his companion, noticing the discolored hue of its skin, blank dead eyes and gapping hungry maw. He still felt like he was in a dream, and yet Yuuki's question pulled him back into the moment.. into reality. "I don't know... I guess so... There was a screen and it said it belonged to me..." He shrugged dismissively, his tone rife with confusion.
As the conversation took a turn towards the pairs' safety, Harry nodded in agreement; he could feel the lingering gas depleting his energy, causing him to feel spent of vigor. "You're right.. we should find a way out of here" He replied only to be interrupted by the appearance of a strangely large crab.
His immediate instinct was to freeze and observe the creature, as one would any crab in the wild. But as it crept closer clapping it's large claw at the two, he felt to urge to run. However that was abruptly slashed as his zombie groaned and begun to slowly shamble towards the crab as if by its primal nature, going out to protect him.

Yuuki shouted over his shoulder at Dr.Mortfield, "Just so you are aware, I do not have a weapon and I am not entirely sure how to use my new power." he said hesitantly as he watched the zombie shamble to intercept the absurdly large crab. Yuuki knew he would have to put himself in harms way to use his abilities as he currently weaponless and not sure his fists would do anything but hurt if he punched the crab, so instead he charged right at the crab so it would take a swipe at him.

When Yuuki got close the crab did just that and he easily dodged the lumbering crabs attack but, as he did something appeared in his hand a sword made of wind. Yuuki was bewildered never in his life did expect to be wielding a sword made of raging wind, but at the same time he was starting to understand what the system meant by a dodge tank. He smirked tightened his grip on the sword planted his feet and slashed the crab; although it did very little damage due to him being level one it was damage nonetheless.

A plan had started to come together in yuuki's head so he shouted over his shoulder "Hey Doc, I'll keep its attention so your zombie dont get squashed if we work to our strengths we could probably end this quickly and get the fuck out of here." he said with a grin as he dodged another one of the crabs attacks; although he could not use that ability in quick succession so dodging was all he was capable of at the moment.

Harry was completely taken aback by Yuuki's preemptive stance, surprisingly confident enough to engage the large crab even without a weapon. The doctor himself felt hesitant, his hands shaking with a nervousness he hadn't felt since medical school. He carefully watched as his compatriot dashed in front of his zombie and towards the enemy crab.
While Yuuki engaged the crab, dashing around to dodge attacks and following up with a slight of hand sending a blast of wind in the target's direction, Harry's zombie continued to lumber forward; groaning loudly as it stumbled.
"Don't worry about the zombie... Let it do it's thing" He shouted in Yuuki's direction.
The crab was too focus on attacking Yuuki that it hadn't noticed the zombie approaching its flank. Rotten appendages reached out and grabbed the crustaceans body, its fingers hooking into the rough edges of the brownish carapace. With a sudden lurch forward, the zombie pushed its weight on top it causing the creature's knees to buckle and collapse. The crab's claws flailed around randomly as the corpse doll pinned it to the ground with all its weight.
"Yuuki... now is your chance!" Harry said as his zombie scratched and claw at the crab, while its maw tried to find soft flesh to devour.

Yuuki smirked as he dodged another attack his ability being able to be use again he slashed down hard with the wind blade feeling the blade bite deep into the joint of the smaller claw. "Let's Fucking go." he shouted as he back flipped away as the blade disappeared into a puff of wind. The big claw came flying in horizontal line with his body as he rotated his body in mid air as the claw whiffed by harmlessly inches above his chin. He heard the Doc yell "Don't worry about the zombie... Let it do it's thing" "Roger!" he said as he landed on his feet in a crouch before taking off running again.

Yuuki continued to dodge and avoid the creatures attacks when he noticed the zombie was about 40 feet away from the crab, he had to keep the crabs attention and besides this was one hell of a work out. A grin graced Yuuki's face as he realized he was enjoying this and just not the thrill of battle but the thrill of being alive 'So this is what it means to be alive.' he thought as he let out a slight chuckle. Turns out life is not so miserable when you're allowed to live Yuuki was slowly finding out having been kept in a shell for as long as he had.

Yuuki was so focused on the crab he had completely forgot about the zombie, he quickly scanned around for it and found it. He watched it collide with one of the crabs legs and it caused the crabs lake to buckle. Seconds after it buckled Doc yelled "Yuuki... now is your chance!"
Yuuki grinned again as he did he seen the small claw coming at him limply, he was going to dodge but something inside told him not to,he stood his ground and a blade appeared moments before impact blocking the attack and shoving Yuuki back a few steps before severing the appendage entirely. Yuuki blinked 'What was that?'

Harry was euphoric at the splendid teamwork on display, he begun cheering excitedly with his arms raised in the air. It was quite an accomplishment to defeat such a absurdly large crab from Harry's point of view. And the spectacle of seeing a zombie in action only reminded him of those movies he was so impressed by as a child.
Briefly awe shocked by Yuuki's strange manifestation of wind blades, Harry remained enthralled by the events taking place. This new world he found himself in was one full of fantastical oddities usually only contained to video games and movies, a fascinating change to his once mundane life as a forensic pathologist.
As Yuuki's blade severed the crab's claw and his zombie ripped into the soft flesh, Harry could see his enemy fanatically give its last throes of life before completely going limp. He sighed in relief that the three of them had successfully ended the threat of the creatures attack. "We did it.. W---" Harry call of victory was suddenly interrupted by a abrupt and painful pressure in his stomach.
The color in his eyes begun to blot with star-like features, blurring his vision. A pained grunt let his lips. His gaze dropped down to wear he felt the pain as his hands reached to it. A thick brown claw clasped around his body with a firm grip, squeezing only him tightly. His hands tried to pry him free, but it was hopeless.. at least while still surprised by the suddenness of it all. Harry turned his head to see the eyes of the crab pinching him, those void-like eyes starring... taunting him...
"Fuck... A little help here..." He yelled to Yuuki and his zombie.
Harry kicked the crab hard against the front of its head, causing it to momentarily lose its grip. The wound begun to bleed immediately, dripping crimson ingor onto the ground below. As he collapsed in shock Harry held onto the laceration in an attempt to stem the flow of blood but to his surprise it completely stopped on its own. He slowly removed his hand from where the wound was, only to see torn fabric and pristine flesh. "What the hell" Harry whispered to himself, before turning back to see Yuuki and his zombie.

Yuuki blinked as he watched the crab fall over and stop moving, he was confused as to what just happened was it that last hit that killed it or had it died from blood loss; either way he was glad that was over. Yuuki let out a relieved sigh and wiped his brow which had become a tad damp with sweat though his breathing was not rapid he had been moving nearly not stop since the start of the fight with the crab, though now he was a tad hungry 'I wonder if its edible?' he thought in his head as him stomach growled at him like some nefarious monster waiting to pounce.

Yuuki heard doc start to shout something, but was immediately cut off as if something had gagged him momentarily, Yuuki Wheeled around and as he did his eyes went wide; to Yuuki's horror there was doc in the crushing claw of another giant crab "You have got to be reshing kidding me." Yuuki muttered under his breath. Yuuki did not want to fight another crab, at least not with out a proper weapon as relying on his wind blades was not an optimal strategy and more a means to an end, that and he was not entirely sure how to use all of his abilities yet. When Yuuki's eyes finally focused the on the crab again doc had somehow managed to get free and the crab was only a few feet away, and from what Yuuki could tell at this distance doc did not appear to be hurt so at least that was in their favor.

Yuuki sighed, as he ran towards doc and the new crab. He really did not wanna fight another thing with out a weapon but fact of the matter was he did not have a choice at the moment. Yuuki covered the distance between him, , and the crab in only a few seconds and he was a pretty seasoned athlete at this point in his life he came to a sliding halt putting himself between Doc and the crab before asking over his shoulder "Are you alright?" before running at the crab sliding under a low sweeping crab claw only to leap into the air a wind blade manifested in his hand to plunge it into one of the crabs eye stalks. Yuuki did a back flip of the crab by kicking off the crabs eye stalks only to land in a half crouch as he awaited the crabs next move and allow Doc time to compose himself.
