Description: A weird mask that makes people fall ill with a strange disease after you wear it. A poltergeist terrorizing a small village. Livestock mutilation and crop circles. A vampire's thrall, a cult disappearing people, a mad scientist and their horrible experiments. Hell, maybe even a nessie sighting, or gods forbid, a chupacabra.[break]
A D rank version of this is something dangerous where people have gotten or very likely could be hurt, but is still relatively easy to solve. A C rank is almost guaranteed that someone has been hurt or will be, and an average person has probably died or is in danger of. The players are in definite danger of some kind, moreso depending on how they go about solving the case. And above all, it should be scary.
