The day forever known in the Mox family as ‘The Incident’. To Dahlia’s sister, a funny story to tell on the holidays. To her mom a nice evening with her daughters, and to her dad an accident to avoid repeating. To Dahlia? Well, it was a terrifying day like so many others, but became a fond memory (and source of embarrassment). [break][break]
Dahlia’s father had finally convinced her to get her certification at twelve. He hunted like his father had taught him, and wanted to be able to teach his daughter to. To bond the only way the emotionally blunt dad knew how. Mom was already diagnosed and so stayed home, not that she really shared this particular hobby anyways. [break][break]
So there they were, spending forty-mive minutes to drive out along some dusty trail to a hilly backdrop area. It was a nice calm day, Dahlia managed not to cry during the entire car ride, despite them getting cut off in traffic. Dahlia’s dad had the forethought to only put one shell in the small 20ga. It took him another hour to convince Dahlia to even hold the thing, but finally she did, and took aim, tears streaming. To dad’s surprise she hit the target, didn’t even drop the thing from recoil like he assumed she would, but let out a terrible yelp and instinctively ducked with his child when, in a fit of terror, she hurled the gun away from her down the slope in front of them. He was kind in spite of it all. They went home in relative silence, and for the first time Dahlia went and forced herself to watch X-Files with her mom, ma’s favorite show. For the first time ever Dahlia felt a little brave. She still cried and hid her face for most of the episode, but dad brought them ice cream. It wasn’t the last time Dahlia watched scary media with her mom, but it was the last time her dad took her shooting. Probably for the best.

Once per post you can fling a number of items from your inventory using the [SPD] projectile rules. Targets must be within 20 meters. Damage per projectile is determined by the type of item you select, and can be increased by delaying or forgoing their return. Throwing an item deals bludgeoning damage by default unless the item mentions a damage type in its description. You can choose the damage type if multiple are mentioned. [break][break]
You cannot throw the same item multiple times per post unless specifically allowed by an item, ability, skill, etc. You must have a [PWR] of the same rank or higher than the damage the item would deal to be able to properly fling it. [break][break]

A truly wonderful weapon, you can use this firearm to shoot once per post, dealing your [MAGI] in damage to your target. However, you don't need to worry about bullets, because the runes around its barrel makes sure that you will never run out! This is a short-ranged gun, which has a maximum of 20 meter in range. Twice per thread, you may engage the rune on the barrel of the gun, lessening the range of the gun by a quarter, but also allowing you to fire a spread shot, as though a shotgun. This spread shot deals your [MAGI] -1 damage to a cone in front of you that is 5 meters in length and half that in width. [break][break]

What a Tosser
For one post, your [PWR] is considered to be +1 rank higher when determining what items you can fling. Olympics 2012
A throwing javelin with "Olympics 2012" etched to its side, this javelin can be thrown with your core. When thrown, this javelin deals damage equal to your [PWR] capped at B Rank. You can also wield this in melee fashion, dealing damage each post for your [PWR] -1 Rank capped at B Rank. [break][break]
