"What the hell... Why would I want these?" Gleeford dropped the bunny ears at the side of the cave, and brushed his hands off on his dirty pants. He would rather have pant grime on his hands than the potential head lice of this transforming weirdo. Speaking of, the transformation was actually pretty cool, but Gleeford would never mention it. Instead, he ditched the gross ear piece and headed down his own tunnel.

Once the trio was split up properly, Gleeford started to get spooked. The tunnel turned gently towards the left, and plunged into straight darkness. It was damp, cold, and impossible to see more than a few feet in front of him. The floor was uneven and icy, making it hard to move with any speed, and he could no longer hear or see his companions. Creeping along, his eyes adjusted to the low light level, and he started to gain confidence in proceeding until a loud roar reverberated through the tunnel.

"Ah, shit. I drew the short straw...." Gleeford had thought he was screwing over Yazid by giving them the drop off. Instead, he was heading directly towards the beast. That figured. Proceeding even more quietly, Gleeford could hear a scuffle ahead. As he rounded a corner, he witnessed it. Ingrid was being chased down by a thrashing behemoth of a beast, flailing its long arms and scattering debris. Their tunnels must have connected in this room.

"Shit shit shit. Don't worry Ingrid, I got..." Gleeford trailed off as he raised a hand. A small bomb icon appeared over the large beast, and then a second appeared over his own head. Concentrating, the little wick above the bomb icon began to flash... and then a third icon appeared above Ingrid. Three small comical looking bombs that were sphere shaped emerged from his palm and trailed off towards their targets. One his Gleeford square in the head before popping, which he shrugged off. One started slowly arcing through the air towards the monster, and the third started floating towards Ingrid. They weren't quick and could be easily avoided if noticed.

"The gift! Yazid, get in here and help!" Rushing to a side, Gleeford approached the large red box and snatched it, before attempting to run down the tunnel he had entered. If he was lucky, the beast wouldn't notice him.

Ah shit. Of course they get there first. He shook his head. Regardless. He heard him yell his name. He sighed. He's gonna have to turn into a ghost. Great become invisible as usual. He dropped down and ran over to them.
"I'm coming!"
He said as he started off into a Sprint. As he entered the room. And he saw the beast. He noticed that Ingrid and Gleeford were working on that. While it's distracted it'll be best if he grabbed. The present.
"Boo!"
He yelled enthusiastically. And snapped his fingers as he transformed into a ghost. Entering spectre form while in this form he'd be [obscured] and if the beast does attack in his direction it'll have a 5% chance to miss. He made his way over to the present. And he saw the beast look his way sniffing.
"Welp, time to dip"
He said as he ran over to the present and grabbed it.
"I have it!"
He would say appearing beside Gleeford

Hearing that she had Gleeford’s support was bittersweet. He was a force to be reckoned with, but the calamity he wrought went both ways. Staring down a digitized bomb as well as the grasping hands of a particularly objectionable monstrosity, Ingrid was quick to react. The colors of the rainbow converged from her palm onto a single point to form a sporty motorcycle in the middle of a dirty, dank, decrepit cave. Sliding to avoid the bombastic blast of a small prop bomb, she mounted her motorcycle while it was sufficiently distracted.

Quickly shifting the motorcycle into the fifth gear, she was off. While Gleeford and Yazid were figuring out what to do about the gift, Ingrid was preparing the ‘run’ of the classic ‘rip and run’. She couldn’t carry both of her allies, but one had a little more pep to his step. Swinging by the two, she performed a classic drive-by akido maneuver, attempting to force Gleeford and the present into the passenger seat (as in, the back portion of the seat itself), “Keep moving. I’ll cover your escape. We shall rendezvous at the tree.” She issued her command, driving upwards to settle the rainbow road over Yazid's head, providing them with a thin layer of protection. Following hot on her heels was one rampaging snowman, who still held a preference for the French-fried Danish.

Hitting the slightest of footholds, she kept her ride elevated at the most stressful of altitudes. Forced to slow down, there were terrifying moments where the Abominable Snowman’s teeth were the only deceptively distant objects visible within the side mirrors. It was less of an issue when the tight corridors provided not nearly enough space, and her mirrors were left scraped along the cave walls.

Out into the wilds, she had to buy Yazid enough time to get out of there. Veering to the left, she sped off towards dead trees that remained rooted. Thrashing through right behind them, the two on the motorcycle would suffer greatly from the splintering trees bursting around them. Zig-zagging, she tried to get this monstrosity as far away as she could.

Coming into a clearing, she concocted a plan to lose it once and for all. An old trick. Drifting into the snow she kicked up a flurry, obscuring her and Gleeford. A momentary distraction, but enough. Sharply drifting she confoundingly darted back toward the Snowman, keeping low, she shot the two within inches of the festive, claymaytion's monster's grasp. Taking her eyes off the perilous path before them, she offered Gleeford a single gesture: her gloved finger pressed against her lip.

With the wannabe Yeti still discombobulated by the flurry, Ingrid used her narrow window to activate Rogue Racer, dropping into stealth. Thunderous footsteps roared behind the two and soon faded. There was finally calm behind the handlebars. Looping around, with bated breath she passed by the snowman thrashing and smashing its way down past the clearing into a rather thicket of dead trees. As a precaution, she had driven in complete silence, offering a stiff, “Fermer le bouche.” At so much as a peep from Gleeford.

They had made it back, eventually. Retrieving a flask from her coat, she took a long, hardy swig. Briefly, she considered just slotting it back into her coat, but sitting on a motorcycle with a 'friend' after just nearly being eaten by a reference to film she never saw, had changed her perspective. Instead she passed the lipstick stained flask over to Gleeford. Confident he had drank from sketchier flasks, she was sure it wouldn't have been much of an issue. This time he would have been graced by a Parasian brandy, a sort that could no longer be called Cognac for Cognac was a mere memory. Still might not have been to his tastes, but it was, at least, stronger.

Dismounting her motorcycle, she made the last few steps towards the tree. She wasn’t able to make it far, all that thrilling motorcycling had left her in a rough spot. Falling to her knees, she clenched her open side.

The present was returned… if Gleeford hadn’t dropped it during all of that.

And with the acquiring of the gift and the escape from the monster somewhere else Dee Dee was happily playing games with her summons while working on the new community area near the guild, when the message popped up that she was needed, Blinking at it a few times she then nodded and got her friends attention and let them know before she started to head in the direction of the group that had finished the event mission, Though after realizing they were higher up on the mountain she realized what a climb it would be, but she couldn't use her warpstar as the moment she started to head out all the nearby Waddle-dee and a few Waddle-doo gathered around to go with her, wanting to be helpful and since they got here they treated her as if she was one of them, it made her feel very happy, but it meant not being able to go anywhere with her star, but after looking at them a moment she decided that it wasn't a big issue and so she started hiking up the mountain. After some time she started to get close to the location of the people, three of them by the looks of it, and they had just regathered together too by the looks of one of the dots only just now joining the other two. Dee Dee for her part was still unseen by them due to terrain, and as she got closer she once more poofed into a Waddle-dee form, and once more she started to happily dance and hop around, she couldn't really help it, it was a dream come true to her after all, and she once more had the little santa hat and the large sack with her and she quickly scooted along the snow, being far to light to sink into it, towards the three. Just as she crested the hill to get to them a message window would pen for the three quest goers "Congratulations on getting the gift! Waddle-Dee Dee will take it from here to deliver it to the boss man of the holiday! as well as your letters to him!" just as Waddle-Dee Dee walked into sight with a quest marker floating over her head, and the Waddle-dee and Waddle-doo with her. To Waddle-Dee Dee's surprise there was only once gift this time, though it seemed the system made up for it by having them deal with a rather large issue to get it, she scooted over to the man that held the gift and she reached out and picked it up, surprisingly able to simply pop it out of his hands even if he tried to hold on to it, likely aided by the system since their job was technically already complete, she looked over the gift and then the Waddle-Dee gave a nod and popped it into the satin sack before giving them all a wave and handing them paper and writing utensils to write their notes with. After collecting those from the three Waddle-Dee Dee gave them a salute, and was off scooting back down the mountain with the other Waddle-dee and Waddle-doo with her, the Waddle-doo seemingly acting as guards for all the Waddle-dee.
