What they found was interesting, and what they saw made Hikari smirk just a little. It seems that there was more to this than meets the eye. And for once in her life, she was watching a family drama that was worse than her own. She felt bad for the woman and wanted to help her. And yet, this was a matter of the afterlife, something that did not concern her at all. To that effect, it seems that the system had other plans.

The mission was simple enough, if not tedious. Hikari internally sighed, though her face became more determined. The women were irking her now, and she was feeling very bad for the woman they had been helping. The mothers reminded her of her own father, controlling, horrid, and rude. She would banish them in a heartbeat, and so she would do this extra quest.

She held out Murakumo, and started to make her way through the room. The first thing that caught her eye was the portrait. Specifically, the ones that the women came out of.

Sitting at the bottom of the portrait was a gem, small but very significant. Unlike everything in this room, it was pristine, as though dust cannot touch it. With a flourish, Hikari unsheathed Murakumo, and stabbed the jewel. It cracked, and exploded into tiny pieces that rained down around her. She heard the scream before she felt the vibrations. It seems she struck a chord. "A piece of jewel, possibly a conduit. Quick!" She turned to Rojin, "Check the other portraits!" Hikari went towards the man's before realizing there was another. She stabbed it, and just like the other one, it exploded. Two down, "One for each of them!" Two more to go.

Rojin was looking around at things trying to find out what was anchoring the two banshees to the place, the argument going on and all the screaming and hollering from them ad the one husband was annoying but at the same time once Hikari smashed two of the items they needed to find he smirked as he heard the angry screams from the two banshees turn into panicked ones, the panic that their plan was going to go up in smoke after having waited so long to execute it and spent so much time and money to set it up, it was music to Rojin's as he heard Hikari shouting out what it was she found "Gems? really? they were that stupid to make it something that stood out that much?.. well.. Makes sense they don't seem to be the smartest of people.." he said as he walked by the shamed looking man. "Raylond get off your useless ass and STOP THEM!" the one woman screamed and her husbands spirit, still looking away ashamed nodded sadly and started going towards Rojin. "Oh what's this? Even in Death you have no spine? what is she going to do to you kill you? your already dead..." Rojin said looking at the spirit as he found one of the gems. "She gets really angry and I just... don't want to deal with that anymore" the spirit of Raylond said as he drew closer, one of the of the fire pokers from the fireplace hovering over beside him "Give me the Gem" Rojin smirked a bit "Tired of it? you do realize... if you don't destroy these gems... you will be locked in here with her forever right? but if we smash them... well you could get away from her""RAYLOND DON"T YOU LISTEN TO HIM!! YOU ARE MINE YOU HEAR ME! YOU ARE NOTHING WITHOUT ME!!" she shouted at him as she continued to try to pull the younger woman spirit out of the mausoleum. The sprit of Raylond waivered a moment but seemed to decided to follow his wife's order. "She's wrong you know... with her your a horrible father... without her? if you let me break this? At least you will be a good father... death do you part right? well like your friend over there said.. dying doesn't mean you stop being a parent... so..." he held out the gem "Choose... horrible father... or a good father..." Rojin didn't care ether way, but what he wanted to see was the woman's reaction when what she thought was a good obediant husband betrayed her. Raylond looked at the gem then at the two women trying to pull his daughter's spirit out of the mausoleum, away from a happiness she was denied in life, then back to the gem a look of determination coming into his eyes before he looked back to his wife "Consider this a Divorce..." he said as he lifted the gem from Rojin's hand and shattered it with the fire poker. Suddenly the womans spirit now both Gems were broken was suddenly lifted and pulled out of the Mausoleum "Raylond you ungrateful BASTA..." before she simply vanished through the door banished from the place. Rojin was laughing as he watched her the look on her face was priceless the shock, the horror of her plan falling apart, all because of someone she thought she had complete control over, oh it was quite amusing but he had work to do, and so he looked around and couldn't find another gem, till he stopped and realized he didn't look in one place, looking up at the small chandelier in the main room, he seen it one gem amongst all the glass "Even when trying to be sneaky... people like you have to be unendingly ostentatious.." he said as he raised his hand and flicked at the gem, an invisible force suddenly hitting it and shattering it "But it does make it easy to put a stop to your stupidity at least" he said with a smirk as he looked to the last old lady spirit who looked at him horrified before she too was suddenly banished out the door of the mausoleum. With the two gone the woman turned to them "Thank you.. I found my ring.. and my fiance thanks to you.. and... father... thank you.." she said as she moved over tot he ring and as her Spirit touched it there was a flash and both Hikari and Rojin would find themselves standing in a clearing wherethe tower used to be.. now only ruins stood. then the mission completion message came up and Rojin nodded "Job well done.. and some bitter old witches plans ruined.. ohh that was satisfying..." he smirked and then chuckled "Well then.. good eye on finding the gems... don't get complacent though you still have a lot to work on... now lets get the hell out of this annoying place..." he grumbled as he started to make his way to the exit portal Hikari |

Hikari watched with fascination as the entire interaction went down. She was sure that the man would not stand up to his wife. And yet, he did. She was slightly proud of him. The fact that he had been able to do that showed his mettle, if not a bit too late. His daughter's life had already been ruined, after all.

Sighing, Hikari turned her attention to the system reward response. She nodded to herself, and was about to head out towards the portal when the old man spoke. She looked towards him, and gave him a short curt bow.

"And you take care of yourself out there. I hope we see each other once again in fair weather." Alive, and breathing. That was the goal. Because there was so much to live for, and death was so final.
