Rory sighed as he activated his CORE on Noelle and got a natural 1. It was always trying to debuff her! He nudged it to a two to lessen the impact, and added on a heal with it to at least make sure it wasnt all negative. With the buff engine rolling, he turned to the portal that their mission was all about.

It was a bit of a head scratcher. SOMETHING was making the portal go haywire, and it was their job to fix it, but… ”Man, what is a proper portal even supposed to look like?!” The one before them was a shimmering void, with white and black tendrils trailing out of it like steamy-wisps. The mission told them that there was something going on here, but it was there just to figure out just what that meant.

”Supposedly, there are “demi-humans” around here… maybe they’re the cause somehow? I guess we should see if we can find them; they might at the very least know what its doing.” Rory sighed again. This mission sounded like it was going to be really annoying.
