Aliyah figured that her first mission in Paris should be a relatively easy one. That was why she had chosen the D rank Rats mission to complete. It ended up being the lowest mission available that still gave points and she didn't trust herself to go through "solo" in the catacombs.[break][break]
Once the mission had been registered as started, Aliyah summoned King and Orion before initiating her skill [Part of the Flock], transforming into a Bearded Vulture before taking off. With two of her summons accompanying her, this activated another of her skills [Migration Formation], allowing her and King's speed to hit A-rank while Orion was moving at A+.[break][break]
"I shouldn't have held off on raising my speed for so long." the witch thought, a little miffed at missing out on travel at this speed. Still, there was no use in crying about it now, all she could do was make sure not to make the same mistake again in the future. For now, she'd use this speed to find as many rats as she could and take them out.

It didn't take long for the flock to track down their first targets. From what she could see from here, there appeared to be a group of about 5 to 6 congregating around something on the forest floor. They were congregated around some dark blob; most likely some animal that they had killed.[break][break]
"Given the size of those rats, I'm not surprised the system decided to make a mission." she muttered. She was pretty sure that each of those rats was at least the size of a small dog. As she began to lower herself, she noted that the creature that the rats had taken down had been a deer.[break][break]
"They managed to take down a deer on their own? These rats are way too dangerous to be left alive." the witch mused before nodding at her companions who scattered; ready to begin their assault.

The rats were largely unaware of anything going on in the skies above their head. Instead, they continued to gorge themselves on the flesh of the deer that they had found; the sound of squeaks and fighting echoed through the quiet forest as they fought one another for the scraps.[break][break]
Slowly, a thunderstorm began to roll in though this storm was a bit peculiar as it seemed to be localized atop the forest only. The rodents didn't seem to mind the storm nor the rain that accompanied it, simply continuing to feast on the corpse. They continued to do that until something dropped out of the sky and crashed into their midst, scattering the vermin.[break][break]
Once the dust cleared, the rats were treated with the appearance of King hovering 2 meters in the air, one of the rats clutched in his talons as he stared at the rats, a look of hunger in his eyes.

The rats let out squeaks of rage at the sight of King clutching one of their friends and rushed forward in an attempt to attack the Dust vulture. It was a futile effort as King merely flapped his wings, causing a large dust storm to spread out in a 50-meter radius, blinding the rats.[break][break]
With the rats blind, it was time for the next step in Aliyah's plan. With a gesture, Aquila let out a shout of joy as lighting surrounded his body before he began streaking down toward the forest floor. The rats were too focused on trying to escape the dust cloud to even notice the Thunder Hawk zooming down before crashing into another rat with a loud boom of thunder.[break][break]
With her battle manic summon now on the offensive, Aliyah nodded at Orion before the pair began their own descent into the dust storm. As she grew nearer, she could make out dark shadows flittering about in the dust with an occasional yellow streak moving through and slamming into them. Pointing one of her hands at the dark blobs, she fired her ice beak attack, piercing and killing the rat and sending the signal to the rest of her summons to begin to final phase.
