After getting the first half of the Forge Key in Motor City all Andy needed to do was complete a mission in The Devil's Triangle. If it was anything like The Bermuda Triangle then he was sure to run into something weird. He didn't know what he was getting into so he made sure to send a message to someone he trusted to help him out. [break][break] Who better to help him out than Argent and Dee Dee? The two of them had known Andy since the very beginning of his journey. Things had changed quite a bit since then and in all honesty he couldn't wait to show the two of them how much stronger he'd gotten. [break][break] Andy waited for his partners by the portal that would bring them to their mission. During his wait, he could hear subtle whispers and see things in the corner of his eye. This place was creepy. He sat on a nearby rock and began to quickly slurp down his Jumbo Gumbo to pass the time. He could feel the warmth of the meal spreading through his body to strengthen it. Today, Argent wore her space helmet. She thought it was cute, almost like a biker helmet but with a full-face visor. The visor itself was made of a dark material, like a tinted window, while the rest of it was a dark metallic purple. ”Hey guys, think I’m overdoing it?” She had no idea what to expect from the Devil’s Triangle, but dealing with portals and weird dimensions gave her the slightest inkling of a feeling she should be prepared for anything. She had black pants on today, with purple shoes and a denim jacket. All of her gear was hidden away in various places on her person, such as the three orbs that hung from her belt- with the exception of the large black lance that was slung across her back. ”Man, portals can be SO annoying… but I’m down if it means more loot. Dee Dee flew in on on Kramer, BombDee and Jimmy being carried by the full grown Dragon, as she was unsure what dangers they might run into Dee Dee made sure to have BombDee equipped with the Combat armor, Kramer had the Ruby Collar, and Jimmy had the duckstalker hat. She herself meanwhile had her mic floating around her, and had her Fuzzy Wuzzy pant on with her sticky slippers, and her bandana and Aracne glasses on, sure she looked a sight but the gear helped a lot if it came to combat so looks didn't really matter to her especially with a place with such a foreboding name. She landed just as Argent got there and Dee Dee waved to her and Andy and gave Argent a thumbs up for the look she had going, not that Dee Dee was one to criticize anyone's style what with the way she was decked out, and it seemed Andy had just finished a meal so this should go well with everyone prepared "I am ready and so are my friends!" the Word bubble proclaimed as Kramer gave a happy growl, BombDee gave a little salute, and Jimmy nodded to the two that had come to help in the mission. Well whatever the danger with the six of them there they should be able to handle it, after all Dee Dee had some new skills too! one that would be handy if they had to deal with a maze or something so there was that at least right? Andy almost spat out some of his gumbo when he saw Argent. After spending a few moments alternatively between coughing and laughing he finally caught his breath. “Shit. Damn. You caught me by surprise Argent. That doesn't look that bad actually. And better safe than sorry. Who knows what we'll encounter here.”[break][break] When Dee Dee arrived Andy was shocked in a different way. The last time he'd seen her summons they were just babies! “Wow look at them all! They've all grown up! And armed!” Upon seeing them all confirm that they're ready Andy made his way to the portal. “Alright let's do this.” He then pulled a silver sword out of his inventory and jumped into the portal. [break][break] When he reached the other side Andy was greeted with a popup letting the group know about the first mission. Trial 1: Reach the center of the labyrinth while fighting off the beasts in the halls. After looking around it appeared as if they were at the start of a stone maze in a large field. “So any ideas? " H-hey, you're not supposed to laugh! Argent stomped her foot at Andy's response to her. Dee Dee at least gave a thumbs up, so there was that going for her. It seemed most of her summons had either gotten bigger or stronger somehow since the last time they worked together, and Argent was always happy for the extra firepower. With everyone ready, Andy summoned a silver sword and hopped through the portal. "Aw hell, here we go!" The woman flipped her dagger around and leaped in behind him. On the other side, she was surprised to find… a labyrinth. "Huh, not really what I expected from the Bermuda Triangle of all places. Nice sword, by the way." There was a time in the past when Argent lended her sword to Andy during a mission, so it was nice to see he had a strong-looking one for himself. Once Dee Dee also made her way through, Argent found herself slightly frustrated from the mission. She liked things that could be beaten up or fought through, but this looked like it was just going to be tedious! Dee Dee looked to andy as he laughed at Argents gear... it was a little funny but at the same time Dee Dee was well aware that her gear was even more hilariously mismatched, but it seemed Andy didn't take notice since her summons took it all, it made sense the last time Andy seen them both Jimmy and Kramer were smaller and both in baby forms, BombDee was still the same though, but he was a waddle-dee he was adorable no matter what. Ether way Andy and Argent hopped into the portal Dee Dee and her friends followed them and as she popped out on the other side and she looked around and it was a maze and Dee Dee nodded as she looked at the mission popup, and nodded then she looked at Andy and Argent as they talked about the maze, Dee Dee then realized she had a skill just for this kind of situation and she raised her arm and waved her hand rapidly as her word bubble popped up "Oh oh oh I have a skill that will help me know if I am going the right way when trying to get to a destination, since we have one, the end of the maze, it will really help here!". After letting them know she took the lead and waved to them to follow her as her Friends followed along and Dee Dee started to walk into the maze and immediately as the first turn was taken she heard an annoyed voice "OI! Moppet? Are Ya Daft? Not this way Go the other way, Bloody Tourist..." and she turned back and went the other way "This is going to be interesting but at least we know which way to go right?" the word bubble explained giggling a bit at the strange voice, it was angry yeah but it was a comical anger. Argent Andy Larsenusing skill - Journey's Destination: While doing missions in a party you always know the direction to the destination and you party member's location with some margin of error. Taking a suboptimal route to reach your destination will result in a very angry British voice telling you to get back on the motor way |

He felt a bit bad for laughing after seeing Argent's response. “I'm sorry, but really it's not that bad. It's smart to bring something like that to protect you. Whatever it does.” After she complimented his sword he swung it a few times to give her a demonstration. With each swing dark red letters spelled out multisyllabic words like 'soliloquy'. “It is pretty nice. It's no X-Caliber though with all its effects. It can put out some pretty good damage though.”[break][break] Unfortunately Argent didn't seem to have any means to traverse the labyrinth except by force. It was kinda funny to think a treasure hunter just cut through most of her problems. Then Dee Dee piped up. “Oh great that'll make things a lot easier! Let's try to get this done quickly. Maybe we could do something else after this.”[break][break] It was then Andy noticed how mismatched she was dressed as well and chuckled. It was like they both were in a video game and putting on whatever clothing gave the best stats. It was a good strategy of course and he did the same. However, he managed to match by some stroke of luck. A black leather jacket and black slip-on shoes. Maybe the system liked him. The only thing that stood out was the rubber gloves on his hands. [break][break] Dee Dee then took the lead. She turned one direction then doubled back and went the other direction. “Interesting Skill. I'm sure it'll come in handy in a lot of other situations too.” As they continued on their way through the labyrinth they took various twists and turns, but didn't seem to be getting any closer to the center. “Even with this Skill it's hard to tell where we are. The center usually has something to mark it right? We should know it when we see it at least.”[break][break] After walking for a while more a loud hiss came from the next turn. Andy whispered over to the assassin in the group. “Argent you're stealthy, right? ”I mean hey, I like the colors at least, it’s got that goin’ for it!” Argent appreciated a good looking weapon, and for as useful as her X-Caliber was, she wanted to start leveling up some of her other gear too. Figuring out what to even start with was going to be a headache, but surely she’d get there eventually. Across the portal, Argent was surprised to learn about Dee Dee’s skill. ”R-really?! That’s so cool, it’s like, EXACTLY what we need!” Talk about convenience. Though, Argent’s smile twisted to a frown once a voice shouted out. It seemed Dee Dee’s skill wasn’t entirely without drawbacks… at least it would get them out of the damned labyrinth, though. Despite the help of the British skill, getting around to the next place was still taking a while. Argent walked with her hands behind her head, stopping when they crossed paths with a loud noise. Andy, of course, was quick to volunteer her to investigate. ”wh- me?!” She feigned annoyance, before chuckling. ”No, yeah I gotchu. I hope it’s a snake, I love snakes!” The woman put up a peace sign with one hand, and held her Moonstone in the other. The stone flashed three times: the first, Argent changed to [Full Moon], and her form shimmered with partial invisibility. The second, she switched to [Half Moon], gaining a bonus to her WIL and a solid form once more. After the final flash, she was in [New Moon] phase, and vanished entirely. It was extremely tempting to mess around with her allies, but she could always do that later. Taking advantage of the SPD buff her passive gave her for being stealthed, Argent rushed over to see just what exactly was waiting for the group up ahead. The skill was rather entertaining Dee Dee couldn't help but find it a bit funny as it reminded her a bit of a Chef she seen on TV once back before the Flash, and so as they walked around the maze and she had to be corrected on her direction a few times, Dee Dee found it more entertaining then rude "Oi Where are you going? WRONG WAY!" and So Dee Dee would turn around and go the other way, she liked how quick it was too, they never went to far down the path when it was wrong so there wasn't much issue with that. and it made for a rather easy traversal so far, though Dee Dee remembered the mission info and it had said battling monsters, but so far they hadn't come across any.

As they traveled it occurred to Dee Dee that maybe the monsters were all down the wrong paths? That would make the most sense on why they hadn't seen any all this time, they were never going down the wrong paths at all, at most maybe a few meters before she was yelled at "What are you doing? You Wanna git Missin'? turn around ya Pillock!" granted the voice did make sure you never missed it's call outs on you going the wrong way so even though many would consider the voice very rude Dee Dee seen that as a bonus since even if she was deep in conversation she would hear the skill alerting her to going the wrong way so it was handy all the same.

It was only a little while later that a hissing sound could be heard and Dee Dee took out her wand and Shield, BombDee moved to the front with Jimmy and Kramer also getting ready for a fight, but Andy made a good call, Argent was sneaky and stealthy so she could check it out before they headed over there so they would know what they were dealing with, so Dee Dee raised her hand for her Summons to wait and they did, the good news was if they did have to fight something nasty at least they had some numbers on whatever it was, so it was hopeful that it wouldn't be to much of an issue to deal with

While Andy wasn't too fond of the angry voice guiding them through the labyrinth it was invaluable in guiding them forward. Argent seemed excited about it at first, but her enthusiasm quickly waned when she heard the voice as well. It was odd that they didn't run into any monsters while making their way through the labyrinth despite the quest telling them to fight them off. The most likely explanations were that somehow Dee Dee's Skill was avoiding them or they were all down the wrong paths. Either way, once again he was glad she came along. [break][break] He smiled when Argent switched between partial and full invisibility. Whatever was around the corner was no match for her stealth. Or so he hoped. As she snuck over to see what it was another popup appeared in front of the party. Trial 2: Defeat the guardian at the center of the labyrinth. Andy knew they had to be getting close, but they were already at the center. This was going much easier than expected. [break][break] The creature in the center of the labyrinth sort of looked like a snake at least. Argent partially got her wish. Argent was SO GLAD she could turn invisible, because the source of the sound wasn't just a cute little snake… It was very big, very green and for whatever reason, had EIGHT legs. C'mon now, that was just excessive! An alert appeared, informing those present of their next challenge: to defeat this monster. The woman frowned, but then smiled. This thing had eight legs, and that disqualified it from being a snake! She had no qualms with defeating such a beast! Argent knew Dee Dee and Andy were still waiting, but figuring they also got the notification, and not wanting to lose her invisibility from another [Phase Shift], Argent decided to immediately go on the offensive, and drew her Lance. Using her [Dash] skill in rapid succession to quickly move behind the monster, Argent wasted no time in attacking. The buff from her triple moonstone was still active, and activating her [Sorcerer Pendant] meant her next attack attack would be just short of double damage AND would have extra range. Including the bonus to damage and how much DEF she could was ignoring with this attack, Argent was doing just below S rank damage while ignoring 80% DEF… yeah, this monster was dying. From behind, Argent drew her arm back, and tossed the lance right above the monster. Its ability activated to let her control its trajectory with a bit of silk still attached to it, so finally the woman activated her ability. "CRESCENT SLASH!" If her teammates ran forward to see what she was yelling about, they would see a spinning saw blade of light suddenly appear above the snake-like monster and slice it along the length of its body, slashing it clean in two if she was hurting it as much as she hoped to. At the end of the attack, the disc slowed to show just a long laser of energy, which turned out to just be her Lance as the laser surrounding it faded away. Using the silk attached to her weapon, Argent yanked it back to her, finally appearing from behind the monster. Dee Dee looked to Andy and nodded at his sentiment of how easy the mission had been, she was glad she had gotten this skill and it seemed that it was a good one for this exact mission, and the set up of it was meant to be quite and issue if they had been wandering around aimlessly, by the seeming of it her assumption that the monsters were down the incorrect paths and dead ends turned out to be true as the notification for the second Trial popped up no doubt by Argent going around the corner to see what was there so she could assume they reached the center thanks to the skill, that was great!

And then shouting started and Dee Dee stood there blinking for half a second and looked to Andy then back to the corner that she was sure Argent had gone around, then back to Andy to blink a few seconds more before her Brain caught up and she suddenly jumped into action and ran for the corner with her summons heading for it and ready to to help Argent fight the monster that was there that ether had seen her or the Girl had decided to attack.. though if she did decide to attack it Dee Dee had wished she would have sent some message or something.

Rounding the corner with her summons around her ready for combat all Dee Dee saw was a large spinning blade coming down on the creature and cutting it in half leaving it defeated, and Argent appearing from behinds the weird snake insect cross thingy, she gave waved to Argent then the Word bubble popped up "A little warning about what you were gonna do would have been nice, I thought maybe the enemy could see you even in stealth..." Dee Dee then made sure to keep her eyes open in case there was another one, or that monster had some means of surviving that attack, after all you couldn't tell with creatures like this Especially not after that odd Boss down in the Catacombs that she had to fight.

Not too long after Argent snuck away and the mission popped there came the sounds of combat. Andy had expected her to come back and get them once she figured out what was waiting for them. She must have gotten impatient while walking around the labyrinth. There was no way whatever it was had seen her. [break][break] As Andy ran into the clearing in the center with Dee Dee he brandished his weapon. After seeing what remained of the large snake-like creature he realized this was unnecessary. At the sight of Argent stepping out from behind the bisected monster all he could mutter out was a confused “Heh?” He furrowed his brow and sheathed his sword. He wanted the chance to show off for the girls, but in the end, it was only Argent who shined. He didn't even get a chance to try out his new abilities. [break][break] “Well that was anticlimactic. Let's hope that wasn't the guardian we were supposed to talk to at the end...” Thankfully that didn't seem to be the case as a portion of the wall lowered into the ground before another popup appeared in front of the group. Proceed forward to receive the wisdom of The Devil's Triangle. Andy scratched at the back of his head before moving towards the opening in the wall. “Well let's see what this so-called wisdom is, shall we?”[break][break] After they all proceeded through the opening and into the next area the wall quickly closed itself behind them. Andy spun around when he heard the loud grinding of stone against stone again. “Looks like we'll be leaving a different way.” At least the top of the labyrinth was open so they could still see. [break][break] He continued forward until a vertical standing sarcophagus with a slightly ajar lid appeared in view. Once again the sound of scraping stones filled the air as an old dehydrated hand appeared from the crack to slide open the cover. The blue flames that replaced its eyes stared at the three of them for a moment before the mummy sighed. In an annoyed voice, it called out to them. “Great now there's more of them. ”O-oh right. The guardian. uhhh…” A pop up telling the group to proceed made Argent wheeze a sigh of relief. That could’ve been bad! She wagged her finger at Dee Dee. ”Ha, don’t worry, this one was a cake walk!” She put her weapon away, nodding to the others. ”Yeah, I think that’s a great idea; let’s see what else is waiting for us!” Argent followed along, and simultaneously jumped when the wall behind them closed them out from their last chamber. ”Oh, c’mon! Is that necessary!” She wasn’t calling out to anyone in particular, but had a feeling someone listening would be feeling pretty guilty after doing that! She shook her head, dropping her shoulders down to keep on following. Eventually, they came to a spot where a spooky coffin appeared. A mummy crawled out of it, with a fiery eye like the one she had fought in Paris not that long ago. She almost pulled her dagger out of reflex, but stopped herself. Remembering how she had almost potentially ruined the mission by being too quick with her trigger finger, Argent decided to hold off on drawing her weapon. For now.And it paid off! The mummy talked, though it sounded annoyed. ”What you mean “what do you want?”; we’re just following the prompts! Ahem,” Argent cleared her throat before responding in a raspy voice, ”Proceed forward to receive the wisdom of the Devil’s Triangle” and whatnot. Dee Dee looked deadpan at Argent as she brushed away her worry, but followed along with the group she looked around wondering where the Guardian actually was then if it wasn't here? Maybe they got here earlier then they were supposed to? They couldn't be in the wrong place considering the skill lead them here and this was their destination, well actually there destination was beyond the far wall... It was then that the Wall started to open up and Dee Dee looked over, well that would solve the issue rather quickly wouldn't it? though she couldn't help but notice Argent jumping a bit from the sound of the stone suddenly moving and her word bubble popped up "Well I didn't say we were at our destination yet.. we just wanted you to check the turn ahead that we had to take remember?" she reminded her with the word bubble. as she followed along into the doorway that had opened up. Andon the other side eventually they found a sarcophagus that a bandaged hand suddenly moved to open all the way and then the Mummy stared at them and Dee Dee watched them.. then the mummy let out an annoyed sigh and Dee Dee blinked and tilted her head to the side as that as well as the question afterword wasn't exactly what she was expecting. And Argent answered it in a rather rude fashion and she looked to her a moment and blinked a bit before looking back to the Mummy and her Word bubble popped up "Hello there sir, Sorry if we are disturbing you, we came here exploring and when we got to the center of the maze here and defeated the monster that was here this passage opened up and we were given the message my friend here just repeated" she hoped it was polite enough, after all he seemed fine to talk she hoped they were not being a bother for him.
