Dee Dee was glade she liked the food at first she thought she would reject it with how she said the name and somewhat stared at it, but then again maybe it was because she hadn't seen one in so long that she was surprised to see something so normal and from before the flash that she just had to stare. Rather then her staring at it cause she was unsure, in fact thinking about it, that was more likely that she was just surprised to see something so normal, and so Dee Dee continued her own meal, Glad to see Hikari enjoying the food as she seemed to really like it if her comment was anything to go by. Dee Dee gave a thumbs up at her compliment "It might seem heavy but with all the travel and the fighting we actually burn much more calories then we would back in the world before the flash, so we have to remember to compensate for that or it will affect our health, so high protein and cards for muscle and energy, but balanced with veggies and dairy as well as grains, and the Fat is Needed because healthy dietary fat is important for survival! And even better it tastes good and I have a varied menu to avoid Menu Fatigue!" the word bubble informed Hikari, Menu Fatigue was something Dee Dee was familiar with thanks to her Father informing her about it after Dee Dee foolishly had tried to pack a bunch of the same food for a survival trip since it was light and easy to pack, he told her what menu fatigue was and how dangerous it could be and so Dee Dee carried that wisdom now with her menu for her Food Cart. "Yes I believe it is, one can't get to much down without the other, more and more people I have heard have said the System food tastes a little less then food made with fresh ingredients, and I think that might be partly due to the system making it that way to encourage looking after the production classes, but also it might be partly psychological since no one has no clue how things from the system shop is made it just... appears out of thin air, so mentally there is that missing feeling of it being real" Dee Dees word bubble explained, it was Dee Dee's personal little Theory on that taste issue. There was truth in Dee Dee's words. All the fighting, the running, the climbing, and the walking that people do nowadays were on a different level when compared to what people had been used to prior. The energy required to sustain such physical exertions were certainly more than what most are used to consuming. Therefore, having a good and complete, especially healthy diet is very important for peak performance.

"I have been eating food from the system. I suppose it has the proper nutrition, although I've never really cared for the taste." Whatever works, that was what Hikari had thought. She had not had the opportunity of meeting anybody who had the capacity to cook. Nor had she had the notion of finding player-made restaurants. Convenience was her motto at that point.

"I can see how people can miss this. This is amazing." She complimented Dee Dee, before finishing up her meal. She had not had this kind of meal in forever, on occasion in the old world, but certainly never here. "I can definitely see why you have a lot of regulars. To have food like this...not only does it provide the proper calories, but also the nostalgia, it's certainly here." A business venture indeed!

After finishing her meal, she bowed to Dee Dee. "I feel like I've taken up much of your time already, Dee Dee. Perhaps we can meet again soon? Perhaps I can supply you with some information later on down the road? I'm sure there is much I can gather." She wouldn't mind helping Dee Dee, especially since it helps beginner players.

Dee Dee blushed and scratched the back of her head "Aww it's not that great I just wanted to give a sense of some sort of Normality to people, comfort food really does change depending on the situation and I figure in a situation like this, what could be more comforting then food cooked and served in a manner that reminds one of life before the flash?" the Word bubble expressed for her as she finished up her meal and took the dishes from Hikari and she started to clean them all, glad she liked the food, she also tossed out a ball for her friends to play with now that work was done for now and they ran off to go play. "But yes I have no doubt that this is why people become regulars, but it's also why I made the prices low, so they don't have to worry to much about that, after all I make enough from missions to buy the materials I need for the food, and still make a profit so the small profit I make from selling this stuff here isn't an issue, this is more for helping people and getting the guidebook out there in the world more then anything" the Word Bubble Admited. Putting the cleaned dishes away she nodded and waved to Hikari "it was nice to meet you, and don't feel like you took up my time, I like helping people as much as I can, and helping me with the guide would be great but don't push yourself to do to much more then you can handle okay?
