Finally! It had taken a bit of hard work, but there was a definite sign of progress. Jeanne-Marie and Kitty had been living together now for months, and while she had not found her papa, Jeanne had found temporary comfort with the woman. She was pretty sure Papa would really like Kitty and her business acumen as well. She was the store clerk type and Jeanne found the level-headed aloofness to be incredibly comforting. Which is why it was no surprise when her immediate ideas of making a guild to advertise her name, and earn a profit in the new world - was met with a dull agreement to work on it.

Today, Kitty had finally informed her that they had the other half of the guild token that was needed, and that had made the girl immediately question the location they would start at, and honestly, she wanted to use Kitty's shop if they could. Would that work though? It was a building, perhaps they could just start next door. Using a colored pencil on the paper she had been drawing on she focused intently on the design of the guild logo as she imagined it. She would take it to an artist class person later probably.

As she finished she would stand and hold the paper running from her corner of the store to go show it to Kitty, the french youth grinning from ear to ear almost with excitement at the prospect of what was likely coming today.

Kitty wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of their little business becoming so much bigger. She would've likely been content to remain inside her store for however long this ridiculous game world lasted. Unfortunately, that didn't exactly seem to be an option. Not only did she feel responsible for the child, but the underlying system was apparently determined to force her out of her comfort zone, marking her once quiet shop on the map to entice all manner of strange visitors.

Taking a sip of tea, she quietly shook her head. This was simply the way things were now.

As Jeanne-Marie ran over, a genuine smile broke through her normally disinterested expression. "Oh, finally settled on a design you like?" She'd only briefly seen the Eiffel Tower herself, while on a trip, but it held more importance to the child. For obvious reasons. Now all they needed to do was make it official.

After poking at the interface for a few moments, Kitty withdrew her half of the medallion and held it out towards Jeanne-Marie. "I suppose if it transported my shop here, the system can also simply create new buildings for us. Or transfer empty ones from somewhere else." She wasn't too fond of the idea of her shop getting even larger, after the initial expansion that had added all its new features. Hopefully there would be some separation between the two areas, but if not, she'd learn to live with that, too.

"Yep! I figured if we were going to brand ourselves with the tower then we might as well go ahead and use the tower as our logo. I'm not sure about it being colored green and brown but the colored pencils I have don't like mixing and I'm too old to finger paint something," Jeanne would say with a bit of a puff to her cheeks for a moment before she went back to smiling. Looking at Kitty for a moment sdhe would look around at the store, it really hadn't changed since the beginning, past the potion shop. Jeanne would make sure to change that for Kitty soon. The lady was one of the nicest and if it weren't for the girl's lack of understanding to what a mother figure could be she would of looked to Kitty that way more directly.

Settling the drawing into her inventory she would begin to grin, "Are you ready to establish the guild building then Kitty? I think we can really overtake a good bit of the market if we set up shop in the shop or next door! I didn't really get to realestate lessons with Papa cause he wanted me in marketing of product until I was older. You know more right?" The girl would ask with a cocked head, obviously expecting some form of knowledge from the actual adult out of the two on a matter a twelve year old had no reason to understand.

"I'm no artist either, but I think it looks fine." Kitty gave the girl a pat on the head with her free hand when Jeanne-Marie made that face. "And yes, I'm ready." She blinked in surprise as the half medallion vanished from her hand. Apparently it was that easy.

"I'm not as certain about establishing it here. The neighbors might not-" She was cut off by a loud rumbling noise. "...oh dear." Finishing her tea in one large sip, she set the cup down and headed for the front door of her shop. The sound was only getting louder, which wasn't a good sign.

Outside, the reason for all the commotion was clear. The two buildings her small shop was squeezed between were sliding off to either side, while something new was rising up from the ground to replace it. Extending the sides of her shop in either direction, adding new windows and decorations that matched the current décor. It didn't seem to stop there, though.

"...Jeanne-Marie, why does my shop have a second floor now?" She glanced down at the pink-haired girl that had followed her out, before looking up again. Adjusting her glasses. "Excuse me. A third floor." Kitty sighed in resignation, removing her glasses to rub the bridge of her nose. "...the neighbors will definitely not be pleased."
