Dee Dee was walking around the forest getting more cuttings, berries, and herbs for her Gardener friend hoping to get seeds and things for them to grow she got some a while ago and she had eventually returned to get even more as her Friend said they always needed extra just in case they didn't take right away, or to allow for faster cultivation, and the herbs seemed like a good Idea and her Gardener Friend mentioned they had a Farmer Friend that could grow them in larger numbers but they needed to get more seeds and cuttings to do so and so here she was.

With her were Kramer and BombDee looking for more plants but not taking to much from anyone area, and Jimmy was happily resting on her head as she worked, the Larva liked being out but he ran out of energy quickly, so she let him rest all he wanted he was a growing Larva after all, and they had large woven Baskets to put the cuttings berries and roots into that she could put into her Inventory later for transportation later.

As she was searching around the roots of a large thick bush though at the edge of the forest, finding edible mushrooms, she heard something walking towards her location, and she started to make her way out of the bush... causing the bush to wriggle and shake as she did so like something large was going to pop out of it.. only for Dee Dee to poke her head out of the bush, quickly followed by BombDee and both look around before spotting the man and then at the same time their arms poked out and they waved to them.

Dee Dee noticed the knife stuck in the ground, having not heard it land when she was wriggling around in the bush, she looked at it a moment then blinked then looked up at the man that apparently dropped it, she waved again as she extracted herself from the bush with BombDee and Kramer, Jimmy still asleep on her head. The man asked her a question and Dee Dee took out a notepad and started to write. then once she was done she picked up the knife and held it by the blade carefully as she walked over to him and held up her notepad and held the knife out to him handle first.

"Hello there I'm Dee Dee... and I think you dropped your knife? As for what I was doing in there me and my friends were looking for herbs, berries, roots, and edible mushrooms to gather as well as getting some plant cuttings, seeds, or digging up whole plants for a gardener friend of mine that knows a farmer so we can maybe start producing more of this stuff to feed more people! After all the Store is fine for premade stuff like sandwiches and the like but they are kind of expensive points wise, and the store doesn't seem to offer any raw ingredients so it seems we need to make and deliver things like that! So that's why I am out here collecting!" as she held up the note pad for him to read she also gestured with her head to the Woven baskets that Kramer and BombDee were carrying, BombDee carrying two as he was now Carrying the one Dee Dee had been carrying, but Dee Dee also had a Woven Basket being worn as a backpack to carry even more.

seeing the knife disappear as well as the one in the person's grasp, she thought that was quite a handy ability as the man mentioned they didn't last long, she assumed it was a skill or maybe an Item? That could prove handy in her Food cart, though then again if they didn't last long it was better to stick with the ones she scavenged up and sharpened and cleaned, or the ones she traded scrap metal for knives and things when she didn't know about the shop.

the man introduced himself and Dee Dee wasted no time in writing his complicated name down, since she needed his real name to actually send a message to him through the system. Then she looked back up at him as he asked about the farmer and the Gardener, and nodded when he asked it that was part of their class, truth be told it WAS their class but it seemed he wanted to meet them at some point! She was happy to hear it, she could introduce them to the man later or give him a letter of introduction, or send them a message through the system since they were entered as her friends so they would know the guy.

However the confusion on the mans part about the store made Dee Dee blink, but then she realized he might be new! and his comment about not being acquainted with the new Flora sealed that fact, then again it was always better to make sure so she opened up a message window and started typing, having to respell his name a few times to make sure she got it right.

"Hello Andhrimnir and yes I did make the baskets that I am carrying and wearing, I am Dee Dee and I am A Summoner! these are my friends BombDee the Waddle-Dee, Kramer the Baby Dragon, and the sleepy one on my head is Jimmy the fire ant larva! As for the Farmer and Gardener they are those classes, they have helped me a lot in getting things for my food Cart! And yeah I can introduce you to them if you want! as for getting you acquainted with the plants, can I ask first, are you fresh out of your tutorial? Also would you like a Tomato?" she sent the message to him and then held out a Tomato for him as she used the free hand to put her notepad away now that she knew his name she could send messages through the system anyway, A tomato also popped out of her inventory for BombDee, Kramer, Jimmy, and herself as she decided now as a good time for a Tomato Break.

Dee Dee had to think about the answer to his question, she was maybe by this point a couple of month maybe a bit more out of her Tutorial, the thing was she made sure to note all the things she learned and add it to her book which kept it fresh in her head all the time since she needed to draw Diagrams and explain in easy terms how to do the things to get through and use what windows so it helped her learn everything, she had been lucky to learn of all this stuff though at first she didn't know much and was using a scavenged backpack to carry her things, and scavenging stuff for barter, which funny enough is what led her to making friends with the Gardener since the thing they wanted wasn't in the system shop.

Looking over to Andy he agreed he would love to meet her friends and she nodded to his questions about her friends well only a couple of weeks and he didn't know about the shop? that was rough then again she managed without it for just over a month so it wasn't that hard, he seemed to already be ahead of her knowing about points though, at the question of the Tomato she shook her head as he asked if she grew them then nodded when he asked if it was from her friend.

She then started to type up another message and sent it to Andy "I have been here... I think three months.. maybe more, I kinda stopped keeping track, more busy helping out and getting things done! but most of the stuff I learned and wrote down in this handy book!" she held out a book for him to take, it was her "Waddle-Dee Dee's Beginner's guide to the System" with a Waddle-dee version of Dee Dee on the cover with a word bubble that said "Let's learn together!" and it was clearly a hand made book with hand drawn cover.

"In this book is a guide to how to access different things through the system, such as the system store, the forum, friends settings messenger, inventory, map, everything you need! all of it things I have learned in my time here, I made sure to avoid Jargon so anyone could understand it, and made the explanations clear and concise with Diagrams and drawn directions on how to access things! I even included the address for my blog if you wanna ask a question when I am not around so I can answer it" she gave a little thumbs up. as the messages were sent to Andy.

And it was true the book also gave information on herbs, both edible and medicinal, plants, where to find certain kinds, how to identify (with a warning that you should likely learn more in depth from someone with a herbology or other plant related class and that she can only give a basic rule of thumb on some of the things, though others were marked if she had learned it directly from someone with knowledge of the subject and she was taught it properly), A bestiary of creatures she had fought in what area's and some tactics they liked to use and how to best deal with them (with special mention that unlike in a game these creatures will eventually learn that these tactics don't work anymore for some of the more intelligent creatures so caution should always be advised) it even had a glossary of terms in the back for people that didn't understand slang being used now, or gamer terms that were being tossed about by people in this new world.

Dee Dee nodded as he asked if she thought about mass-production and she took out a bunch of copies from her inventory, each was as close to the same as possible, making it obvious she had hand made them all though she did her best to make them look all the same, at the question of the friends system Dee Dee nodded, she was glad her book was handy, he wasn't the first person she gave this to that seemed to appreciate the work so she was sure making this was a good Idea.

when he mentioned streamers she shook her head, she didn't know anyone that did that stuff in this new world, though she wasn't sure if she could even do that, then again there was a forum maybe there was a way to make videos? She would have to look into that, because if there was she had been planning something to add to her Food Cart as an additional Attraction, she also had the Forge key now so maybe she could advertise that? though she doubted anyone would be that interested in it.

when he thanked her for the book she gave a thumbs up then took an extra woven basket out of her inventory and handed it to him as she sent him another message "You are welcome, now I think you said you wanted to learn more about the plants and stuff right? well luckily for you I happen to have passed a few places with some things growing that I can take you back to, we just can't take everything as we wanna make sure there is enough left to regrow later!" the message was sent to him and she waited for a reply as she and her friends nibbled away on their tomatoes.

Dee Dee was very proud of her work, not because she was proud she made them, but proud they could help people, though Andy mentioned he knew someone that ran a bookstore and a person that was a good merchant that could likely distribute her books wider then word of mouth and she herself could do alone, not realizing he was talking about the short girl Jeanne-Marie and her friend Kitty, she assumed he meant other people like that and so she nodded eagerly at the offer after all she was hoping her book could help as many people as possible.

As he took the baskets she gave him a thumbs up though when he said they were adorable and her rosy cheeks turned a bit more rosy as she acted a bit shy and sent a message "Aww shucks I bet you say that to all the Gathering baskets" quietly giggled as she was clearly joking though the question about streamers came up again and she felt she should check into that later, it was a good Idea, though it would mean it would be text rather then talking.... unless she made Waddle-dee the center of attention and talked through him? That might work.. after all having a cute mascot was always going to be helpful!

Though she was glad the Bestiary would be helpful to him and then she gave a thumbs up to him and she waved him to follow her as she sent him another message "Well a good place to start I know where some good Roots and herbs are so just follow me!" and with that she dove back into the bush and the bush wriggled about as she made her way through it, though it was rather obvious that Andy could go around it, Dee Dee seemed to not have realized it.. or she was just eager to show someone that it completely slipped her mind.

Dee Dee walked through the bushes and forest looking around for anything she might have missed as she lead Andy to the place she mentioned, pointing out some berry bushes and smaller herbs as they went, though his question about the type of roots had her typing out a reply "Oh some ginger, some potatoes, even found some wild Onions! not all in the exact same place mind you but pretty close so getting them shouldn't be that hard, just remember to leave some to grow" she sent to him as she walked around the base of a tree, and into the clearing she found that had the onions.

On the edge of the clearing was also some Fruit trees and berry bushes and as they walked in she sent another message "As for what I make, I make anything I can, from fried food, to baked goods, Boiled, Braised, Toasted, Barb-qued, roasted, I think I have a menu here somewhere..." she sent the message and then took a seat near the roots she lead him to as she looked through her inventory for the copy of the menu she had, she had a few of those just in case after all "I'll look for it while you gather a bit" she said in another message to him.

As she Sat Down, BombDee and Kramer did the same, sitting with her and just staying close, with the baskets they couldn't just run around and play and that didn't seem to bother them as they just stuck close to Dee Dee who absentmindedly pets the two of them while Jimmy continues to rest on her head, it was nice and comfy in the light of the clearing and the grass was soft, and there was no rush thankfully, they had to wait for Andy to pick what he wanted anyway.
