The creature is a massive creature that slowly lurches through the magma pools found on a smaller island in the Draco chain. The creature is known for its thick hide and potential for powerful one-hit shots. It is aggressive towards those near its feeding grounds. [break] [break] ANCHOR TYPE: SHELTER [break][break] Heated Armor [Passive] When an enemy strikes in a melee fashion, even with a weapon or armor, the creature causes its [MAGI] stat -1 rank in damage immediately to that person/item. [break][break] Overheat [Passive] Each round of posting will see the monster’s [PWR] stat increase by +5 points. Capping out after six rounds. [break][break] [basic] attacks - 1 rank [PWR][break][break] Magma Spew The monster will open its jaw and launch globs of magma that can travel up to 25 meters away at -1 rank the monster's [SPD]. This attack aims to cover an area of 10 meters in magma. Getting hit directly causes you to take its [MAGI] stat in damage. Those that travel across the magma pools after they land will take its [MAGI] -2 ranks in damage for the next two posts. Magma pools remain for two posts before fading. The ability has a seven-post cooldown from the first post it was used. [break][break] Bathing Pool The monster will slam its feet into the ground causing the area within 5 meters to become a pool of molten magma. Those that travel across the magma pool will take its [MAGI] -2 ranks in damage for the next two posts. The pool will expand by +5 meters per post that it is active. While in the pool, the Salemander recovers 10% of its [VIT] per post it stays in there. It also boosts its [MAGI] and [PWR] by +20% while in the pool. The pool lasts up to four rounds before being forced on an eight-post cooldown. [break][break] Harden! For two posts, the monster's [DEF] appears to be +1 rank than normal. Has a four-post cooldown after the last post it is active. [break][break] Tunnel The Salamander will burrow under ground for the duration of two rounds of posting. During this time, he will recover 10% of his [VIT] per post. During this time, he will be unable to be targeted by abilities unless you have one that can force him from under there. This has a four-post cooldown. [break][break] Geyser Summit Typically, when underground or in his pool, the Salamander will cause a large geyser of magma to spew upwards from its back. This causes its [PWR] stat in damage to all those that are blasted. The blast is nearly 2 meters wide and 15 meters tall. [break][break] Terrain Shatter The Salamander will cause an area equal to its [PWR] stat ## in meters divided by 2 to become filled with earthquakes. During this time, all those within that area will take its [PWR] -1 rank in damage. Those that try to move through this region from here on out will take its [PWR] -4 ranks in damage each post they move through the region. They will also suffer a 30% [SPD] debuff while moving through this region. Has a five-post cooldown after use. [break][break] Crust Cracker The Salamander will charge at its [SPD] up to 5 meters away, attempting to headbutt what is directly in front of it. Causes its [PWR] in raw damage but will also proc its Heated Armor passive. Has a two-post cooldown. [break]

If you fail to finish him off by then, he will probably kill or maim you. At most a party of four can attempt to fight this guy. You will have free reign on RPing the monster, but should be noted Raya is watching! If you take things too easy, the monster will get some friends or a new form. It is not wise to join this at a low level, if Raya notices lower levels (below 15), he will throw additional curve balls. Malorie grinned as she stared out at the quarry before her. She had been quick to come here after having heard about the floating island chain and that not all of them had been explored yet. She was so engrossed in the idea of exploring everything that she hadn't even stopped to consider a great deal of things on the way. Having been following this particular beast for a day now she had shot a message to the person she figured would want a part of this beast the most. That 'edgy shadow assassin', Emir. She had not asked for a last name, and he had never given one. Eventually she would know and he would not be able to hide it, but that day was not today or before. Patience would be the key to knowledge, always. That was the concept of even her class.

Having recieved an arrival message though, or at least a note that he was close, and with a companion of his own, Malorie rushed in. Pulling the only truly solid item in her inventory, a gift she had recieved from Emir when she had been level 1, a device he had handed her to try and keep her safer when they had entered an incredibly dangerous dungeon with a severe gap in levels that was not easily covered. Her legs pushed on the earth as she surpassed human speed with ease as she threw the arrow towards its flank, rounded its side and whistled rather loudly to draw its vision down towards her before she paralyzed the beast as the arrow flew true to strike into it to freeze it in place. Knowing good and well it could not resist due to her insight.

Passing along she continued to run past it, blasting its mind with an overload of sensory information that it was not otherwise capable of understanding at one time. A rupture of noise as it would cry, not from true damage, but from the seeming cracking of its defenses that she did so utterly fast. A grin spread on her face.[break]

Emir was feeling pretty chill. Things were all falling into place for him. His guild was pretty much started, just missing some formalities. He looked hot, was in good health, and was one of the most powerful people around. It was hard being someone as awesome as him. It was just a shame the whole world was not aware about how cool he was. The shame of it was almost too much to bear. Anyway he accepted an invite to slay a lizard because he had time. He invited Summer because being around her made his life a lot easier.[break][break]
“Oh, we are doing this already? Guess I will put some effort in.” Emir sighed as he made some hand seals. Multiple copies of him popped up. “I have always wanted to use the shadow clone jutsu.” Most of them started crisscrossing towards the large dino, lizard, whatever it was, except one. Emir was impressed that Mal could use the arrow successfully, as he traveled. It was like watching a dog do calculus, or Nikolas when they first had to fight to live. Using his cape he flew into the air in case it had a breath attack, then came down on the neck like he was an attack on titan character.[break][break]
Emir was blasted away from impact. He managed to nick the beast. The Night Chaser was not expecting the reflective damage back onto him. He used his cloak to right himself midair and lashed out with a kick. A kick from his leg that had grown a large black blade from it. Chaining his active stuff came with practice. A flurry of attacks from him was a specialty. “See if you can throw this back!” Emir was laughing as he dished out his damage. The darkness enhanced blade cutting into the skin. It was going to turn his head but it being immobilized meant it was an easy target to bully. A clone smacked it in the snout, before Emir took another to return to Summer.[break][break]
The Night Chaser was breathing hard. His ability to maintain his speed was hampered by his weak body. He could go all out for a moment but would start to feel the effects a bit. He made a mental note not to invest in the vitality stat. Maybe he could start to do more damage if he did. What was impressive was the fact that the beast was still standing. Even if it was heavily injured.[break][break]
The Gor Medalion Give +5 to all stats. My god of the black desert's cloak gives +20% (18) to PWR and MAGI (18). [break]Holy Trinity gives an additional boost to PWR(9) and MAGI(9) +10%.[break][break]
Emir used me and my shadow, death dance, a basic weapon attack from his cursed blade. Damage from the Blade was A rank, Damage from death dance was 2 A ranks, damage from shadow was another A rank. The first damage was to get rid of the remaining defense value. The rest was going straight to the vitality so three A ranks.[break][break]
Emir was got hit with the recoil from the passive of the boss. The D rank damage was absorbed by his armor value. Leaving him unhurt. He also used the same armor to fly this post.

Emir Nebu Malorie Lynne SummerThe raid was a tense and thrilling experience, with only a brave few willing to take on the powerful creature that roamed the lands. Despite the odds, the group had assembled and was already dealing significant damage to the creature. This presented a unique opportunity for various types of people to take advantage of the situation. For example, any enemies that the group members may have had could easily take advantage of the distraction and strike. Additionally, scavengers looking for a piece of the action could get in some hits and still receive credit for their contributions to the battle. Enigma had a unique advantage with his stealth abilities. He intended to remain invisible throughout the entire raid, moving at C-rank speed while his shoes blocked any sound of his movements. After the other players had attacked and were waiting for their companion, Enigma made his move. He sent in two waves of butterflies to swarm the boss and deal damage, while also serving as a distraction. As the creature was distracted, Enigma slowly moved closer, eventually getting within 14 feet. Suddenly, something emerged from his shadow at an astonishing A-rank speed and rapidly punched the creature before disappearing back into Enigma's shadow. "I was never here......." Enigma whispered, hoping that no one had noticed his contribution to the battle. He waited patiently for the rewards and his new skill to take effect, feeling satisfied with his performance in the raid. He didn't need to be the hero this time, they could take the glory officially. Unofficially, his name would pop up on the leaderboards one way or another. Abilities used passive (s): blood of the dokkaebi - Your abilities naturally have a few otherworldly aspects to them that others do not. Any ability, not skill or item, you have that is based on [PWR] can instead be based on [MAGI] and any ability, not skill or item, based on [VIT] can instead be based on [WIL] stat. - While wearing your mask, you're able to become invisible to those whose [WIL] is lower than your [MAGI]. While this has no defined limit on how long this can last, if you come within 3 meters of something, they will be able to vaguely see you. If you use an action (ability/skill/item) while invisible, during the duration of that action treat your [MAGI] as -1 rank than it normally is when calculating if people can see you. - Your necklace is now able to produce a blue flame known as Dokkaebi Fire. While it can be produced whenever only three times per thread can use cause this blue flame to empower you and allows you to summon a Go Dokkaebi for a limited time of three posts per use of the Dokkaebi Fire! Your Go Dokkaebi comes with its own stats and abilities, please see below. core The Beguiler uses illusions and mental effects to manipulate the minds of others while also causing very real harm through the tricks of light they create. Your mask becomes a vital part of your class, and when abilities are in use, shimmers with rippling patterns of pink and purple light. This same energy appears as butterflies and whimsical shapes flutter off your form wherever you go when willed. As a [basic] attack, you can fire these projectiles [SPD] at targets up to 30 feet away, dealing psychic/ cutting damage equal to your [PWR] when hit. Gains a new feature at [PWR] Rank B. Skill- harvest Once a thread, if there is a staff-made monster slain, you can harvest a piece of it as a crafting material.

Magic has been breathed into it by the flames of the forge. You can summon forth an armored humanoid shadow with dragon features. It has wings, claws, and rows of ivory teeth. It can rest inside your shadows like it would an inventory. This creature has a mind of its own and will attack you if your base [WIL] stat drops below 60% in a thread. However, the upside is that once per post this creature can deal damage equal to your [MAGI]. This creature can stretch its body up to 15 feet away in diameter. The creature has a durability equal to [DEF] -1 rank, and a stat [VIT] equal to your own. It moves at your [MAGI] stat in speed and can fly at your [MAGI] -1 rank. Once every three posts this shadow can open its mouth, causing its teeth to part revealing something akin to a black hole, and can "eat" a ranged attack equal to its [MAGI] or lower. This attack can be held within it for up to three posts before being forcibly released at a target maintaining its effects. Within those three posts, the range attack can be launched back out. It can only hold up to 1 attack at a time. Three times per thread you can this creature up to 40 feet away from you to hide within someone’s shadow. When doing so you can hear and see what the shadow does but is unable to attack. When dwelling within shadows it is considered to have [stealth] equal to your [WIL] -1 rank. Once destroyed it can be resummoned from your shadow after 6 posts. Each time it is destroyed in a thread increases the cooldown time by an additional 3 posts. coat of the sky glider A pale brown coat that has several markings near the edges and base. The coat acts as a piece of armor and can block damage up to your [DEF] before breaking. If the coat breaks, it will be able to naturally repair itself after three posts. Three times a thread, you can allow yourself to fly at your [SPD] for three posts before having to land or re-apply the flight. black shoes - A pair of black dress shoes they remove the sound your footsteps make. Unless someone’s [WIL] is higher than your [SPD] they will not hear your movement. breakdown

It was actually quite fun being part of a guild, especially cause that meant she got invited to go fight big monsters! Not being the least bit tired, she vaulted over a rock and continued her sprint towards the Salamander. It was a cool looking beast but she wasn't even sure she'd get a chance to hit it, that was fine by her though, it was her fault for being the last here... And also the slowest. As she ran she summoned her sword and shield, letting them settle into her hands. Her jacket was bright red today to go with a white t-shirt emblazoned with a red rose and black shorts.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late!" She called out and as she drew closer and the party link activated, all of her party members would gain a buff to their DEF just due to being in a party with her, while she would gain additional VIT. She also designated Emir as her Beacon Knight, enhancing his offensive and defensive capabilities to make sure they could bring this thing down without too much more issue. With that done, no one was actively being attacked just yet so she'd rush up to the Salamander's face and swing her sword down at it. It didn't do much but the flames licked back over her sword causing Summer to frown slightly, her sword held up though it was built pretty tough.

Hopefully it would draw the creature's attention though and get it to attack her or anyone else really and to help with that she held her sword up and summoned the golden flames within her, activating [Beacon's Charge] and supercharging everyone's defensive abilities with her flame. If it tried to attack any of them in melee it would suffer a backlash like it had just tried to use on her, although this would be a little worse due to her higher MAGI stat than this thing. She didn't want to activate anything else just in case this thing had some nasty surprises in store.[break][break]

Dealt E-Rank damage with sword, Heated Armour causes Sword of Passion to take D-Rank damage but it can soak up to B without breaking so it's fine. Emir now has +20% on all offensive and defensive abilities, everyone in the party gains +5 DEF, Summer gains +15% VIT. Healthy amount also triggers for +15% to core stats. Beacon's Charge enhances DEF of armour/shield items by +20% and also causes any melee hits to return C-Rank damage to opponents.

Recalling the arrow to her, Malorie would watch in wonder as the creature practically melted into death's embrace. Truly she had chosen the correct crowd to be around. Perhaps she could work into a heavier scouting role... if she could anaylyze a monster's every aspect... perhaps that was a direction she could push towards? She would need to figure more of a niche then the all-rounder position she kind of filled in a team.

She did have her niche in information, but that only mattered against things that truly took time to cull from the earth. This beast had not stood a chance of filling those shoes no matter how much it tried to. Its fate having been sealed as soon as her arrow had struck home. Either way the group here would likely need to leave shortly.

Those that have [DEF] lower than your [PWR] will take additional burn damage equal to your [PWR] -3 ranks for the following post. You do need a firearm license for this weapon! [break][break] Lava Moat Scroll - A simple scroll that can be used once a thread. Upon using it, you'll cause a moat of lava to form around you, leaving a space of roughly 5 meters inside the moat. Once placed, it cannot be removed until it cools and hardens in three posts. Those that try to physically cross the moat will take B-rank damage directly to their [VIT]. [break][break] enigma found... [break][break] Ash Bombs - Three innocent black pellets that look like simple smoke bombs. Can be thrown up to 15 meters away. Emir narrowed his eyes after the rest of his team attacked and took down the boss. He was unsure that all the damage should have been enough to take down the boss like that. Summer was more of a defensive nature, and Malorie was a mascot. Great for encouragement but damage capabilities were on the meh side. He had a vague idea of what he could do but even he did not go all out.[break][break]
The nightwalker moved closer to the falling boss and felt a new presence. He was not used to the armor he was wearing so sometimes he tended to miss stuff. Another blade presented itself on his leg. Emir stood up and kicked out with the leg. The blade shot out and flew towards a target. It missed but Emir was sure someone was here.[break][break]
“I know where you are. That was a warning shot. Reveal yourself or the next blast will be aiming for your life.” Emir’s eyes narrowed as he glared at the hidden figure.[break][break]

Malorie Lynne Emir Nebu Summer Enigma observed Emir for a moment, trying to figure out how he had been detected. He had been careful to remain unnoticed, but it seemed that fate had other plans for him. "Let's just calm down for a moment," Enigma said, appearing out of nowhere and dropping his invisibility ability. He raised his hands in a gesture of peace. Emir was still suspicious from the tone of his voice, and Enigma couldn't blame him. He had just defeated the field boss, and Enigma's sudden appearance had possibly ruined his plans due to split contributions. But Enigma knew that he had done nothing wrong. "You seem like quite the hot-head," Enigma continued, trying to diffuse the situation. "A re you really going to kill me just because I wanted to leave without being seen? Or is this about the field boss? If it was such a private participation, you should have had a team of four. Then I wouldn't have been able to get involved."
Enigma paused for a moment, taking in Emir's glared expression. He wondered what this shadow manipulator was going to do next. Enigma had encountered other players before, but he had never experienced aggression like this before. It was all part of the job, though, and he knew that he would have to deal with it eventually.
"So I revealed myself," Enigma said, trying to keep the conversation going. "What do you want to do now? Maybe we can work together and defeat the next field boss." Enigma smiled, hoping that Emir would see reason. He knew that he had to tread carefully, but he was confident that he could turn this situation around. However, if negotiations went bad, Enigma would have used his own escape rope without hesistation.
